Sailor Moon Fan Fiction / Fan Fiction ❯ sailormoon crossover untitled ❯ The war is almost over or is it? ( Chapter 3 )
Disclaimer still has not changed since the last chapter so quit asking. I only own the plot and Kayla, anything else is not mine thank you.
A/N: yes I know another chapter when will I ever learn. New twists ensue so be prepared for that. It is random information coming from my brain so at times it may not make that much since.
That night Tintin found it hard to sleep due to the fact he was stuck in the same apartment sort of speak with a girl he took complete advantage off. His mind was racing with many things completely confusing. Part of him wanted her to forgive him and for her to say she wanted him again, and the other wished he had not touched her. However his dreams were leading on the wet side wishing more then ever he could have her just one more time.
Kayla on the other hand was spending a restless night most of which was spent puking in the pot. Her stomach had been bothering her and she found it easy to reject her food this time, which she found good since it was a rare event when she would do this. She had no idea of what had happened to her and would not find out for quite some time. As for right now she was treating it as pressure changes effecting the natural fulid located in her body which would cause her to feel this way quite often but never enough to cause her to be doing this. When she caught a break, she pulled a hair scrunchy off her wrist and pulled her hair back with it before another round of vomit fallowed. When no more had to come she fell back on her knees shaking before trying to clean herself up. She knew she would have to be up early to go on this trip which she had to disagree with, but at the same time had not really any choice in the matter, which to her was nothing really new to her. Sighing she tried to find a place to sleep, but passed out outsie the bathroom door.
The next morning, tintin was one of the first up and the first to notice her passed out on the floor. He ran over to her and was relieved to see that she was only sleeping. Stroking hair from her face he saw where she had tried to clean herself from her epsoide in the bathroom the night before. He knew he shouldn't touch her any more after all that he had put her through but at the same time he wanted to help her out and chose to take his chances on how she may feel about all of this. He went into the bathroom and spotted a clean washcloth and wet it and then proceded to clean the mess up from it. Looking down, he saw traces of blood on her legs and waist from where she fought the attacker the day before. Blushing he started to clean that as well thinking the whole time ::What in the hell happened to this poor girl:: Captain haddock came out and gasped at the sight before him only a few minutes later. "What happened?!" he shouted.
"Keep it down I don't want to wake her if I can avoid it, please that is the last thing she needs right now." Titin stated quickly as he continued on his task. By this time he had removed all her blood stained clothing and was cleaning off the dry blood.
"She must have put up one hell of a fight, I have never seen a mess such as this…before in my life." The captain replied in a shocked whisper whicle helping his friend.
Within a few minutes, Kayla awoke feeling two sets of hands on her body. Her brown eyes begun to sparkle with rage and unshed tears as she jerked away from them. It took her little time to notice she had no clothing on and many thoughts ran through her head. "How dare you…how could you?!" she screamed as tears spilled freely from her eyes stining her face. "I am going to have a long bath and No one is to disturbe me got it. If that freak comes to pick us up he or she is just going to have to wait!!" she declared locking herself in the bathroom.
Several hours past and people were starting to grow angry with the young lady who had hidden herself in the bathroom. When she finally chose to come out she was freshly clean and no trace of any blood or vomit was on her, her outfit was freash and clean and even her necklace shown in the mid afternoon light. "it is about time bitch you have made us late, and for that you will pay." One of the officers snapped charging at Kayla.
Seemingly board, Kayla sidestepped the man causing him to slip on the fresh wet tile of the open bathroom and crack his head open on the side of the tub unable to stop before he did so. She smirked as others rushed to their follen friend and helped him into a car while everyone else was drug into yet another waiting car. Kayla protested fighting as hard as she could tears and pain flickering through her emotion filled dark sightless brown eyes. Now more then ever she was fighting herself to see again, but how she could perform this task was something new to her. Dispite this, she continued to struggle until she found herself unable to move, for the moment she stopped to regrain her strength as freash tears filled and later spilled from her eyes. The incressed even more when she heard someone next to her mutter. "what a big cry baby how anyone like that is able to fight is beyond me."
"Why don't you shut your fucking mouth and quit trying to judge people you do not know!" Kayla shouted vinim in her voice as it broke with every word. "You have no god damn clue what I have had to go through and the struggles I go through every day! You try being blind and have the fate of the world on your shoulders knowing you yourself could destroy it without a second thought….!" She finishued unable to speak anymore due to the tears.
Tintin put his arm on her shoulder trying to calm her knowing her emotions could be rather different. He understood just what she was saying, and knew since she did not see well or at times not at all, so her hearing had to be much better then that of someone who could see a lot better then she did. "calm down its alright, jst remember honey someone loves you and wants to see you live through this." He reminded her wishing in his mind that the person she would be thinking of was him. ::I cannot have her, I know that, why am I doing this to myself :: he thought as he continued to consul her.
The rest of the ride was rather uneventful with one minor stop to a store to get items for the captain. Needless to say things could have gone a little better with that. The poor store owner was scared shitless by the guards watching the transation. The last point of travel was just as how it was discrived. A large triangle with stairs on all sides of it leading to a point where people could walk under a roof only to come out on the other side and walk down. "I will be more then happy to take you up." A man rang out from the onlookers and other senshi that wondered around the grounds.
"I do not want to go up, I am extreamly afraid of hights." The professor began to protest as the captain grasped his arm firmly. All complaints feel on deaf ears however as the captain continued to drag the complaining professor along. Kayla stood weekly at the foot of the large structure wondering just how she was going to make her way up and over. She walked over to the edge of it and figured out she could crowl up but would need time to rest before attempting o get back down ad into safety, this being a task which Kayla was not particularly looking forward to. Slowly she made her way up even though during this, she spent a great deal of time in extream pain. Tintin saw this and to save time picked her up and took her to the top. She was too week to protest so after tying up the guy, she did not start screaming and protesting to being moved not of her own free well. In fact during this time she had fallen sound asleep.
Not much sound could be heard beside the screaming from the professor protesting on what he had to do. Leaves russled as they ran for their lives senshi now chaceing them from all directions on land by air you name it this was happening. Tintin and the group paused to rest near a river, and the sound of the running water caused Kayla to stir somewhat. ::No niot now please don't wake up:: tintin thought as he shifted her in his arms. He did not want her to wake up and discover that she was being held, after the events of the morning he did not want a repeat perforamance and neither did anyone else. He sighed when she remained sleeping. "Ah Tintin my friend long time no see…" one of his friends said approaching hem on foot. "My man tells me you would be out this way, so how are things.. is that your girlfriend or whife?" He asked spotting the sleeping girl in his arms.
In the back of his mind Tintin was wishing with all of his might that girlfriend or future whife was one of the things she was to him, but sadly he had to reply, "No she loves someone else, and its none of us. We are just caring for her until we can get her back to the one she loves."
"So where is this camp of yours?" the captain replied quickly changing the subject not sure if Kayla heard anything that was said.
"right this way fallow me.." the man replied, from what one saw of him he was dressed like an army general, and people often addressed him as such.
Kayla stired when the name Alcazar echoued through the trees. The sound sent nearby birds flying away from it. Within seconds she wanted down and tintin complied. She posed her ears alert trying to pinpoint the sorce, fear creaping through her body. "Who is that general?" Tintin asked carefully placing an arm on Kayla's shoulder trying to get her not to transform. Kayla relaxed her stance, but was not at all convinced.
"That is my whife, she is mad because she disapproves of my job, and thinks I should be working for her." The general replied sadly.
"What a real bitch, how you would put up with that is amazing you must have been really lonely." Kayla muttered more to herself then anyone else hating to see any suffer like they had just done. She did not care if someone heard or her not because any commenting she would have expected anyway. She fallowed the others as the screams continued to increases.
"Hello darling.." the general greated as he entered the kitchen area of their little house. It looked old on the outside, but on the inside it had all the moderan convances of an every day home. The sink was full of hot water and dishes needing to be washed, there was lighting not only from the windows, but from the roof as well. The walls and floor looked like they were made from log or grass, but the countertops suggested something different.
"Alcazar where have you been you did not finish the dishes, also who are thease people ?!" she started to question before he and the others managed to set foot in the little hut.
"Thease people are my friends and I had gone to pick them up, or don't you remember me telling you that I was going to do that?" came his reply as he entered placing on rubber gloves to get to work on the offending dishes.
"I never gave you permission to pick up outside people!" she shouted, but her shouts were cut off by a soft thud as Kayla fell down to her knees. She turned to the fallen girl and helped her up before returning her rant on her husband. "now you are cheating on me with another woman and what in the hell have you done to her?!" she shouted.
"What are you referring to?" Kayla asked in a bit of confusion. Not really sure what she meant.
"Why dear do you feel strange in any way?" she asked as she sat Kayla down.
"NO not at all mam, just a little sick but then again I thought that was from all the atmosphere changes pressures raising and dropping constantly." She stated softly.
"Alcazar, I will deal with you later get to work on cleaning this mess, and the rest of your friends can stay in the tool shed." She declared.
"I know my wife can be a bit strict and seemingly harsh, but, she is really sweet and kind. Your friend will be safe in her hands." The general reassured his friends that did not look all to convinced she was.
"Now come on deer, I have something that might clear that up." The plump woman said in a clam and soothing manner to Kayla.
The sounds of a television could heard nearby although scratchy it may have been. It showed even as remote it was, a signal of some kind could reach. Tintin and the others went to see what was going on. The news was reporting the escape of Tintin and his friends warning people to be careful not to get near Princess sailor moon. They always mentioned what a fighter she had become and no one was safe if they were to walk across her path. Once again her picture was displayed across the screen, and even though it was black and white, her features could not be clearly seen. Kayla heard the reports from a makeshift first aid room where she was given some kind of medicine to ease her aching stomach. "Wow that girl in question sounds like a real dangerous person, I hope you don't end up around her." Mrs. Alcazar commented to Kayla whose face had gone pale at the words ` Princess Sailor moon' in which within moments of hearing the words promptly fainted hitting her head against the wall. Taking Kayla down from where she was now resting she yelled over the commotion. "Turn off that god dam television, you nearly gave this girl a heart attack."
Kayla came too only a few minutes later her head pounding. Without a second thought, she reached for one of the many pain killing medicines she carried on her. She grew very nervous, when she could not find what she was looking for. "Kuso…" she muttered when her search came up empty. Before she could continue the ringing of her cell phone caught her attation and she scrambled to answer it. "moushimoushi ." she said in a rushed whisper.
"Kayla chan.. are you alright?" Mokoto asked on the other end of the phone.
"Yeeah I have been better, so any news yet?" Kayla replied with a question for her own.
"None as of right now, Minako went for her pre surgery exam today and no word has gotten back on how that went yet, and I as well as Ami chan, have locked on the signals coming from your cell phone, so we may be able to pinpoint it soon." Mokoto said.
"Mokoto chan! You said there wasn't any good news." She complained a little louder then she had intended.
"I was just kidding to get you to relax." Mokoto admitted sheeply to her friend.
"Well I didn't find that very funny." Kayla retported. "call me when you find out anything useful." She finished clicking off afraid of what may have been heard by other people. She scrambled against a wall and sighed slightly not sure if she could continue to worry. Standing slightly and slowly she made her way to where the tv was located. Although by the time she got there, the news reports had gone. Needless to say Kayla was glad of that not wishing to hear anymore people speaking badly of her. She had enough of that through out her lifetime and enough was enough. Though she could for the oddest reason, not get her mind off of Tintin. After all he had been the only one to help her through all of this, even though he did some things to her she in her mind continued to question. She sighed as the television was turned off and she appeared to be the only one left in the room. She was so lost in her own thoughts she did not hear it when someone approached her. She did not move really confused and lost her mind buzzing with the events of the past few days, it wasn't until Tintin's soft voice reached her ears did she even budge. "Are you alright?" he asked her his voice filled with concern for her.
"Yeah, but I think we need to talk." She said as hot tears started to sting and burn at the back of her eyes this task being harder then she had thought it would be.
"sure what is up?" he asked sitting beside her.
Kayla could not look him directly in the eyes as she slowly started to speak. "First off I am sorry if I have acted like a real jerk to you. I mean you ment no harm I am sure, and your feelings you stated to me I am sure were true, and you did not say them just to get at me again and again like others have done." She began the tears still in her eyes. "I know that it may seem a little late for that, but it has been eating a way at me, and I did not want it to fallow me when and if I reached home again." She continued.
"Its alright, I understand how you must feel. If I had known or if I had really looked and paid attaion, then none of this mess would have happened. So what I am saying, is I am responsible in part too." He said giving her a hug.
Kayla returned the hug tears freely flowing now. "I know, and if I didn't have anyone I want you to know that you would have been my first choice. Now I am scared in part to go back, because I betrayed the man I love." She sobbed into his chest.
"If he truly loves you it will be alright to tell him anything." He said soothingly to her trying to calm her down.
"This will be harder though considering I have just done what others have done to him. You see he is used to a person doing what I have just done, and I swore to him that I would not do the same, and look at me now." She continued to sob into his chest.
Tintin held and rocked her back and forth until she had fallen asleep in his arms. He located a bed and placed her in it, by this time it had become nightfall and he decied that it was best to get some sleep. But before he made it to where he could sleep, a stray bus drove into camp, filled with men and woman that were to perform at a carnavle in town. General Alcazar was there when the bus arrived and with its contents he had gotten an idea. Earlier that day, Tintin had made him promise that in this war that blood shead was out of the question considering his friends lives were at stake and would not be spared otherwise. Tintin had his other reasons for such a request but that was the only reason given. He knew that keeping this promise was going to be difficult given his love for gun fire and blood shead. He was one of those whom didn't mind it. The captain pulled tintin aside to talk to him after seeing the strangers arrive.
"What is the matter?" Tintin asked his friend once they were in private.
"How is Kayla doing? I saw her have another spill of tears today and you trying to relax her. Do you think she will be able to assist us in the return of our friends?" he wondered.
Tintin looked him over and whispered quietly. "Chances are dispite how she feels, she is going to want to help us ready for it or not." Tintin reminded.
The captain nodded in understanding before he wished his friend a good night and urged him to go onto bed since they had an early morning. Tintin went back to where he had left Kayla sound asleep checking on her a moment before heading off. ::I wish there was more I could do for this poor girl:: he thought as he watched her sleep. Pulling some blankets off a nearby shelf, he made himself a bed on the floor wanting to be near her even though he had no chance of ever having her as his, although his dreams seemed to reflect otherwise.
*****dream*******
the wind picked up and Kayla awoke from the sure coldness shivering unable to handle it. The air was to unstable for her, and breathing had become difficult. Tintin had woken up to the strange sound of her falling from the cott like bed and onto the unforgiving hard wooden floor underneath her. He watched as she sneezed a few times and he reached out to her. She had no reason not to take his hand as she felt herself being pulled closer. She had no fear what so ever as the fibular touch of his lips on her ear made themselves known, and she moaned slightly in the pleasure it had given her. Tintin continued down sucking down her neck and massaging at her chest.
***end of dream****
A loud thud and the sound of pounding footsteps woke Tintin from his dreams. He gazed over at the talking watch Kayla was waring and knew what he had to do. Slowly he begun th task of waking her and trying to get her into something then the thin pice of clothing she had chosen as night cloths. Tintin was learning very quickly that tending to Kayla and trying to get her to wake up before sun rise was a near impossible task, but at the same time he felt he had to take it upon himself to protect her. It took him about ten minutes to figure out how to get her changed since she didn't use a suitcase. Although she was still asleep, Tintin managed to get her ready and out of the hut. "Tintin, are you sure about this… she isn't even awake…?" the general commented upon seeing the still sleeping Kayla in tintin's arms.
"I assure you she will be alright once we get going. She is a hard sleeping person, and will not wake up before sunrise. By the time we reach town the sun itself will have her wide awake." He explained as he boarded the bus.
"I hope your right, we have no room for mistakes, and we need to be careful not to make any." His friend replied.
"As long as you remember your promise. No blood shed…we have to save our friends.
"I remember."
The trip itself took almost no time at all less then prveisouly expected. About ten minutes from the city, the small army changed into their outfits preparing for the war ahead. Kayla was wide awake and ready for the battle that faced her, her transformation necklace not visible, but ready at a split second's notice if it were to be needed at any time. Useinging fighting skills she had just learned of recently, she managed to knock out many enemy senshi with little or no effort on her part.
"This is going much faster and better then we had expected." The general whispered to tintin a moment later once they reached the palace where the head chease was hiding unable to face the people like a proper ruler would do. By the time that they had gotten that far, Kayla begun to feel a little faint. Everything the blonde haired senshi had done up to this point was now taking its tole on the girl. "Moon Prisim power Make up!" she called her once brown hair, a noticeable shade of blonde her outfit not that of the princess everyone feared not quit yet anyway. When Tintin saw this, he glanced over at the girl. "stay relaxed and maybe you won't transform again." He worned.
The now transformed sailor moon nodded as she went with the others a look of shock on the general's face. In her state, she felt a little stronger even though her body would not be able to take much more. Like before, the enemy turned out to put up little resistance fearing the young lady. Word spread fast, and they did not want to die like their comrade had by her hand. Upon reaching the main hall, a laugh echoed through it. "Welcome everyone. I see you have made it…. "princess..I hope your enjoying your time here." The voice spoke soft at first, but as time progressed, the voice turned a dangerous level. And the young princess did not have to guess where the anger in the voice was directed at.
"Leave that girl alone, she has done nothing to you!" Tintin spat as he advanced towards the man that had caused him and his friends so much pain.
"Calm down…will you?" captain haddock commented as he tried to pull his friend back. However, Tintin would have none of it and ossed his friend off.
"Tintin-kun onegai…stop…" Kayla begun to plead mixing in English with her Japanese something she often did in times like this when she feared someone would get help. "Remember…you made the general promise no blood shed." She reminded him. As hot ears stung at the back of her eyes causing the silver crystal to react. Clutching her chest, she tried to concentrate hard in order to stop herself from changing. The last thing she needed was a princess that was dead set taking the entire planet down if provoked enough to repeat the past life.
Tintin backed down at seeing the change that almost took over Kayla, and the general took over. Holding a gun to the man's head he forced him to release and give up his hold on his power. Fearing for his life, and seeing that the princess who he felt was pure evil stood before him, he did as told.
"Now we have to make sure the prision hears this." The general commented as he stopped the tape.
"I'll take it.." Sailor moon offered as she took the tape in hand. Concentrating, she teleported herself to the prision, but by the time she got there the excusaion of the two twin police cops had begun. Racing as fast as she could, she reached the guard in time. "Ja ta matte onegai…you have to hear this first!" she cried as she played the tape, which also played on the radio just seconds before.
"Release the prisioners all of them!" the guard ordered and the tompsons found themselves free once again not one shot fired.
"Thank you miss we owe you our lives." The one man replied happy to be free.
"Don't mention it, it was nothing.." sailor moon replied as she concentrated with all of her might returning to Tintin and the others. "I took care of everything.
"Its finally over." The general commented, but was cut off once again.
"Alcazar!" rang through the palace as his whife arrived searching for her husband.
Everyone laughed as she gave him what was thought to be the lecture of a lifetime. It was then that Kayla received a call on her cell phone. "would you all excuse me?" she said as she took the call. "moushimoushi?" she stammered out.
"Kayla-chan guess what. We have pinpointed a way for you to return home." Mokoto replied.
"That's wonderful!" she said happily.
"All you have to do is return to the spot where you first landed and we can pull you in for there, but hurry time is running out." She warned.
"Right just let me take a minute to say good bye to everyone here." She said as a series of painful feelings hit her all at once.
"Jan ne.." Mokoto said before she hung up.
"Guys thank you for everything, but I have to go. I have a chance to go home now, something I need to do." She said as she hugged everyone in turn.
"Matte…" Tintin called after her as she retreated.
"hai?" she said pausing to give him one last glance.
"I just wanted to say…" he started but could not finish what he had to say. As he spoke, a white light covered Kayla and she stood in her princess etire. "never mind….It wasn't all that important." He finished not saying how he really felt.
With that Kayla vanished in a flash of white light, but home was not where she sent herself. Fearing she would or could die before reaching home, she turned herself into an emergency room. The wait of chores was the big time consumer, and she worried she would not make it back in time ,but at the same time she wanted to make sure she would make it back live long enough.
Once she was aloud in, the exame proved to be more shocking then she had expected. The reason why she felt the way she did, was because she was with child. Sighing she left the hospital tears stinging the back of her eyes. ::How can I live like this, how can I go back now, and how do I tell Tintin this child may be his?:: she thought as she took the long way back not sure if her ticket home would be there as when she returned to it." Minako-chan I don't know if we will see one another again, but please come out of this alright." She whispered to no one in particular as she staired out of her airplane window. Kayla let the tears fall as plane flew over the open ocean waters. Inside the young senshi of the moon was praying for a plane crash.
