Sailor Moon Fan Fiction / Fan Fiction ❯ Terrina's Past ❯ The Beginning.... ( Prologue )
I thought this up while trying to sleep last night. Since some of Terrina's background...*Receives a sharp glare from Terrina.* Okay okay. Her ENTIRE background...*Receives a smile of approval* comes from Xenogears, I decided to write this. Her Saiyan name Zephyr, the green gem and her original family are all based on this game...
10,000 years ago...
Noah's Ark. Their last hope. They left the crowded Earth for new worlds. Families were a majority. They has set out months earlier in search of new worlds to populate. Of course, it was not their only objective. They would abandon the horrible secret the Earth had on an asteroid to die. They had yet to find the perfect settlement planet.
In the civilian area, it was bustling. There were rumors the sensors might have found a habitable planet. A young woman grimly nodded at the news. There HAD been such a discovery. But it was not to be. Excusing herself from her conversation, she walked out the building to look at the stars. How much longer would she wait? She could feel it. A deep sense of dread washing over her body. It made her sick to know. She didn't want to. Did she have a choice in the matter? Children ran by, laughing and playing. This life was easier than it had been on Earth. The planet was about to face large disasters. She had been the head scientist to...'discover' it. No. She had SEEN it. The cries of the people, ignored by the people of the other worlds. Building the ship they took their deadly secret and many civilians with them. They barely made it. She turned to go back in, when a woman's voice broke her thoughts.
"Abel? Abel!" She cried.
"What is wrong Elhaym?"
"My little boy is gone!" Elhaym said. The first woman gasped. Was it happening already?
"Do not panic. I'll look for him. You should return to your dwelling Incas he is there." She said. Elhaym wiped her eyes with a handkerchief and nodded. Before leaving, she looked at the woman offering to help her.
"Thank-you. What is your name?" She asked.
"I am Setsuna." The woman replied, and ran down the street. This wasn't happening! It was much too early! But...she couldn't choose this mission. She had been chosen for it. She knew there was no way for her to get there in time. This was futile. There was no way to save these people. So why was she sent on board? There must have been another like her somewhere. Yes! That had to be it! The reason her visions predicted a doomed flight. She had always looked at the cause. She would look for the girl now. Perhaps, there was a way to save this flight after all. She stopped running for the science research lab. She ran back towards the civilian area. She could only hope things would work out...
In the Park area...
Setsuna looked around, hoping to sense the girl. Just then alarms went off. Time was running out! She watched people rush past her, screaming, as the computer system told them to remain calm. She went against the flow. Or tried. The area had cleared quickly. She heard crying. Was it female...? Yes! A female voice crying for her mother. Setsuna quickly, yet cautiously, walked over to the child, and gently lifted her face up.
"What is you name?" She asked. The girl sniffled and wiped her eyes.
"Terrina-Zephyr." Setsuna nodded and picked her up. Gunshots. The main weaponry system! It was targeting civilians! Gasping, the internal system picked them up and began shooting. Using her quick reflexes, she jumped away from most of the shots. She hid behind a tree, and fumbled around for something in her pocket. She pulled out a green tear shaped Gem. Good. She still had it. She remembered years earlier, receiving this. Terrina-Zephyr held onto Setsuna's arm. She was afraid. She had every right to be. Setsuna took the gem and pressed it into the girl's forehead. Branches came out of it and wrapped around the skull, jabbing into her mind. She screamed out in pain. She begged for Setsuna to stop. She wouldn't. Setsuna sat the girl down and hugged her.
"You're mission...is about to begin." She said. At that moment, the ship entered the atmosphere and crashed into the ground in a huge explosion. Setsuna was not there though.
At the Gates of time...
Sailor Pluto watched the explosion, with a heavy heart. Knowing the girl for a few moments and leaving her there to witness that horrid event was too much for her to bear. To hear her cry of pain and do nothing to stop it. Sure, she had the power to have stopped that moment Abel wandered into contact with the being, but not even she could break the law of time...
