Chapter 5 Bad Timing Part 1
Theme:: Let's Get It Started by. B.E.P.
Clothes:: Kags a dark red shirt with a panda and sakura tree on it, with baggy jeans. Inu a bit of an oversized T-shirt (red) with fairly loose jeans. Out fit for her gig all shredded fish net shirt and thigh highs, with their color tank underneath and a pair of knee high lace-up combat boots. With a black and their color plaid skirt with the hip chains that hook on a belt or belt loops. For the new guy with the new band a goldish yellow tank and ripped bondage pants with chains on them.
That morning Nariko called and rescheduled for that morning around 11.
Kagome and Kaiya walked into Dr. Nariko's office. They went to the main desk and signed in then waited to be called.
“Kagome Higorashi!” The nurse called from the door.
Kagome and Kaiya stood and followed the nurse back to room 3.
“The doctor will be with you shortly.” The nurse stated
Her aunt entered the room about 10 minutes later with all the essentials for a pregnancy check.
”Ok Kagome we'll do all we need to figure this out an make sure.” Her aunt said and checked her blood pressure, temperature, then sent her to the restroom for a urine sample.
Kagome came back in and handed her aunt the cup and her aunt then called the nurse in to do blood work. After the blood was drawn her aunt and the nurse left to do the tests on the blood and urine.
Her aunt came back in awhile later with the results.
“Kagome we got the results back and….” Her aunt trailed off.
“And what? Is it what we thought?” Kaiya asked her sister-in-law as patiently as she could.
“Your pregnant.” Her aunt said happy for her.
“What really wow.” Kagome said still almost not believing it.
“So Kagome of course you have to know who the father is right so can you tell your old aunt?” Nariko asked Kagome.
“Ya of course it's this guy I know his name's InuYasha.” Kagome said.
“InuYasha? I've heard that name before. The inu hanyou that saved our tribe from a giant mantas demon and save your father and I not long after that from an evil demon with immense power, was named that. He had the legendary sword tetsusaiga and used it to destroy both with one strike each. He also had help from a strangely dressed priestess that had strange powers she could do everything a priestess could and more she had the strength, speed, and power of a demon. They said she was the reincarnation of the priestess that sealed InuYasha to the tree and was entrusted with the jewel before she died. We never got to thank him the last time.” Nariko rattled on and got quieter with the last sentence.
Kagome on the other hand her eyes got wider in surprise as her aunt continued with her story. It sounded like she was speaking of her and Inu.
“Aunt Nari are you sure that's what his name was and the name of his sword?” Kagome asked with wide eyes in anticipation wanting an answer.
“Ya I'd never forgot it I idolized him.” Nariko said remembering her lil childhood crush.
“Kagome doesn't InuYasha carry around an old beat up sword?” Kaiya asked her daughter.
“Ya that's tetsusaiga.” Kagome told her mother.
“Wait tetsusaiga how old is he?” Nariko asked her niece.
“He's about 17 that's what he told me and I freed him from the sacred tree on my B-day.” Kagome said.
“What he was freed 500 years ago how could you have freed him?” Nariko.
“I fell through the bone eaters well on my B-day and wound up in the futile era.” Kagome told her aunt.
“So you were the girl in the strange kimono that could use all those weapons.” Nariko said.
“I don't know haven't encountered any Lynx demons yet. Well I think we better go InuYasha gets irritated when I don't come back as soon as I told him I would.” Kagome said.
“Alright here's a prescription for the prenatal vitamins.” Nariko handed her sister-in-law a piece of paper.
“Thanks aunt Nari.” Kagome said leaving.
“Thanks Nariko bye.” Kaiya said exiting behind her daughter.
They left the doctors office and dropped by the pharmacy for the vitamins. Then headed home.
Kagome entered the house and went straight to her room to lie down. InuYasha walking in her room 1 minute later. Closing the door behind him he walked over and sat down next to Kags on her bed.
“So what did those tests your aunt take say?” Inu asked.
“They came back positive.” Kags said in a kinda sad monotone.
“And what does that mean?” He asked not sure as to what that meant.
“Oh that means I am pregnant.” Kags said in a still kinda sad tone.
“What's wrong I don't like the scent of sadness?” Inu asked.
“Oh nuth'n.” Kags said.
“I know it's not NUTH'N, come on tell me if we're going to stay together as mates or something we have to talk right?” Inu said.
“Ya I guess well ok ya see half of me want's the baby but the other half feels to young. I just don't know I'm very confused, I just really hope mom helps as much as she can cause I have no clue with what comes with this.” Kags said kinda revealed she told someone and not just anyone it was Inu she wanted to tell him more then her mother.
“Well I don't know what to tell ya but I'm glad you told me.” Inu said giving her a hug he's still new to all the emotions and other things with her.
Later Kags and Inu arrived at her uncles club around 5 pm 3 hours before opening time. Kags found out something interesting bout Inu between when she came home and when they left for RyuSakura. She found out Inu could sing as good as her except
he's a guy. He could match the lyrics of quiet a few songs that she listened to that had a man singing. He also learned the man's part of a duet so she thought of working that into the gig tonight. They sat down at the bar and started talking with her uncle.
“Kagome your aunt told me about the baby.” Her uncle said.
“Well good news sure travels fast now huh?” Kags said a little irritated but still happy that her family isn't judging her.
“Kagome your aunt and I want you to know that we'll always be here for you no matter what.” Kags uncle said.
“Yes uncle Ken.” Kags said with a goofy child like smile.
“So InuYasha how do ya think you'll be being a dad?” uncle Ken asked Inu. Inu just sitting on a bar stool quietly thinking he'd been forgot'n or something.
“Don't know never been one.” Inu stated.
“Oh you'll be great as long a you don't down size me in front of our kid.” Kags said with a big smile trying to cheer him up. Then she jumped on his back and rapped her arms and legs around his torso. Which she knocked him over on the floor he turned his body as he fell so he wouldn't land on her so he wouldn't hurt her or the baby.
“Hey what was that for?” Inu asked peeling his face off the floor.
“I was just playing.” Kagome said after she rolled off him and sat on the floor next to him.
Inu sat up then Kags leaned over and gave him a big kiss. There was a knock on the back door so uncle Ken got up and went to see who it was.
“Hello.” Uncle Ken said opening the door to find three teenagers that didn't look completely local.
“Hi we're the Blood Fangs Kagome Higorashi's new band.” The taller girl said she wore gig out fit with dark purple.
“Oh of course come in and you all can start practicing.” Uncle Ken said letting them in and leading them to the bar.
Kags and Inu had got up and were sitting at the bar. Kagome stood up and greeted her new band.
“Hi there I'm Kagome you can call me Kags and this is InuYasha you can call him Inu.” Kags said with a nice smile.
“Hi we're the Blood Fangs, I'm Meda Tainn Turner, at home they just call me Meda.” The taller girl said.
“Hi I'm Matthew Leo Carter, back home everyone called me Leo.” The boy said he wore the goldish tank with the ripped bondage pants.
“Hi I'm Rose Marie Elliot, just call me Rose.” The shorter girl said she wore blue.
“Ok so what songs are we playing to nite?” Meda asked.
“Oh well I was think these.” Kags said handing them each a list.
The list read starting with …….

They practiced till opening time and joked around some getting to know each other. Even Inu was having fun and had to admit he rather liked Leo the guy was cool. They played for the occupants of Uncle Ken's club and had fun with it even the club occupants have a good time. They really enjoyed hearing Inu and Kags sing their Baby Boy song duet. Their audience encored for about 5 minutes straight till they got them to calm down.
“Hey ladies and gentlemen sorry we can't do more but I can't do any more sing'n or dance'n for tonight cause well let's just say someone's gonna be very pissed off if I do. Later all.” Kags said walking off the stage with Inu in toe. Her band also followed leaving their instruments on stage.
“Hey guys sorry but Inu and I got something very important to do tomorrow so we'll see ya and if ya give my uncle Ken your numbers I'll call you for the next gig. Sorry but we need to leave.” Kags said waving as she walked out the back door.
When they got to Kags bike she turned around and kissed Inu long and hard.
“So you have fun tonite Inu?” Kags asked him sweetly.
“Ya it was alright.” He said with a smirk.
“Great cause your gonna help me more with the band. Now let's go home and sleep cause we're leaving tomorrow morning and going to search for the jewel shards. We have to find as many as we can before my aunt wants me back at her office.” Kags got on her bike and slipped on her helmet and Inu followed suit.
The got back slept then left kind of early the next morning and went to the futile era.
