Chapter 8 The Night Of The Full Moon

Clothes: Kags a white wife beater with a black bra you can see underneath it and a pair of light denim jeans with holes in the knee and a pair of black converse all stars. Inu same old and same with everyone else. Souta a par of jeans and a t-shirt that says if you want someone to behave get a dog.

They had been traveling with Miroku in the group for maybe a week now and had found 2 more shards plus the one he had. They had now maybe 10 shards at most. Kagome had figured out how to fuse the shards back together and the shards they had was maybe an 1/8 at most. It was around maybe just after noon they had finished lunch were on the move again and were coming up to a good size village.

“Hey let's stay the night here.” Kags said.

“Yeah can we?” Both Shippou and Souta asked.

“No we can get to the next village in two days flat if we keep moving.” Inu said with a small growl of challenge.

“Inu say no again and I'll kick your ass.” Kags said getting pissed off.

“No we're not staying.” Inu said in a seriously pissed tone.

“Ok have it your way I'm kick'n your ass.” Kags said jumping at Inu and doing a roundhouse kick that just barely missed him.

She just loves to kick his ass when she can or try to just playing around. And right now was mainly fun. She ran after him and threw punches and kicks all he could easily avoid. Then she remembered her whip was clipped on her hip with a loop that buttoned. She pulled it off fast and started to crack it Inu turned fast to see Kags cracking her whip with much grace and ease. Then she began to crack it in his direction with graceful spins every now and then making sure at the same time that it didn't hit him.

“Hey baby ready to give it up?” Kags asked in a sexy voice that all most made Inu cream himself.

“No way.” Inu wasn't done yet and he sure as hell didn't want to give up to her in front of just about an entire village.

By now mostly the entire village was watching the scene of what appeared to be a mere human girl fighting off an inu hanyou. Kags ran to Inu fast with her lynx demon speed which if she wants to push herself she can go faster then Inu. She rapped her arms up under his and around the back of his neck and held him in a fairly tight arm lock but it was one she knew he get out of.

“Hey Inu wanna give these people a good show?” Kags said low so only he could hear.

“Sure.” Inu agreed.

“Then follow my lead and let's give them what they want.” Kags said low again but with a little giggle in her voice.

Inu broke out of Kags arm lock and flung her back about 6 or 7 feet. Kags flipped in the air and landed gracefully on the ground in a crouch with her left side toward Inu and her left foot out stretch toward him to. Her hands on the ground in front of her and her head down with her hair hanging over in front of her. She whipped her head back hard making her hair fly back falling gracefully down her back revealing her lynx ears. Her pants had moved around so much that it had rubbed off her sutra tattoo. Everyone gasped at the girl that stood before them. She stood tall and dark but had a lightness surrounding her. Kags not realizing her sutra came off charged at Inu and had nicked him with her fist. He had been so shocked that he almost forgot to move so her fist grazed him.

“Ready for more baby?” Kags asked sex again.

“Hell yeah bring it little girl!!” Inu yelled just to give it a believable oomph I guess you could call it.

“Alright then.” Kags said with excitement and a smirk they both did.

They started again punching, kicking, ducking, and dodging flipping, rotating, spinning, and whipping each other around.

Finally the lord came to the front of the crowd.

“Enuf!!!” He yelled.

He was dressed in fancy robes and decorated with other nice things a lord would wear in the futile era. Everyone quieted and Inu and Kags froze in a funny looking position. Kags was bent over backwards and Inu had his hand out over her frozen in a punch.

“You two hanyous come with me bring your friends to.” He said.

They said nothing and just followed.

In the lords house they were in a large room that was furnished like a living area in a modern house just older in style. They sat in a
semicircle facing the lord his guards just out side the door.(From left to right if you were behind them.) Inu, Kags, Souta, Shippou and Miroku sat staring at the lord like he was the principle of a school and they were some students about to get detention or something.

“I have asked you here to thank you all for bringing life back to my village. Everyone has been completely depressed ever since our village had been attacked by some unusually strong snake demons that have been terrorizing the village off and on for the past month.” The lord said.

“Oh so what do you want us to do about it?” Kags asked.

“I will give you free room and board here until you defeat them if you want the job and I will pay you handsomely for your trouble.” The lord sounded as if he was getting desperate for help.

“Will you let us discus this and we will tell you our answer in 20 minutes?” Kags asked.

“Yes I'll leave you to discus the matter.” The lord got up and left the room.

“So what do you guys think? I mean it's free room and board in this fine house plus we could always use the money.” Kags said.

“Yeah and I can test my skills.” Souta said.

“That's right you've been improving very fast Souta you are a lynx demon alright.” Kags said jokingly messing up Souta's hair rubbing her hand on his head.

“Yes this would be good for us these demons might even have a shard.” Miroku said.

“Yeah that's true they could.” Kags said.

“Yeah fine we're stay'n to see if these assholes have a shard. Then we're outta here.” Inu said he had been growling in frustration up until then.

“Alright.” Kags stood and walked to the door.

Sliding open the door she saw the lord standing just outside it.

“We'll help you.” Kags said with a smile.

“Thank you now I while have Yuri here show you to your room.” He said.

“Come on guys.” Kags said motioning for them to follow her.

They followed Yuri around the house till they came to two rooms. She slid the door open to one it had thick futon on the floor with nice sheets and the futon was big enuf for two. The other she slid the door open and it had two thick single futons. Then she left telling them to call for her should they need anything.

“Ok who's getting which room.” Miroku said.

“Sorry but you three suck in that room.” Kags said pointing to the room with the single futons.

“Aww Kagome I wanted to sleep with you.” Shippou wined.

“No Shippou me and Inu need time alone to talk.” Kags said.

“Ok well I think they should be doing dinner soon.” Miroku said.

“Yeah I'm getting hungry.” Souta said.

They all headed for the dining hall.

Later that night they were hanging out side Kags and Souta's sutras were off. Kags was training Souta again this time they were covering actual battles. He was going to fight all of them. First off was Shippou since he was the weakest.
During the fight it was just about to get dark and Kags was feeling real weak. As the battle went on and the sky grew darker till the sun set Kags just kept getting weaker. Then just after there was no light left in the sky. Kags had human ears and her eyes were the pretty brown color and she had no demon powers.

“Kags you ok?” Inu asked.

“Yeah just it's the full moon I got no demon powers.” Kags said kinda pissed.

“Well now you know how I feel bitch.” Inu said with a laugh.

Then they all laughed even Kags.

The next day Kags was back to normal they all were walking around the village when they heard a scream coming from just outside the village. They went running to come upon a snake demon attacking some village girls that were apparently picking flowers.

“Hey asshole, leave `em alone and pick that is up to your strength.” Kags yelled.

“How dare you half breed speak to me that way.” The demon said with a hiss.

“I'll speak to ya any way I want to you don't scare me.” Kags said acting tough.

“Your gonna regret that half breed.” The snake demon yelled lunging at her.

“Yikes.” Kags yelled doing a few back flips and a backhand spring to finish it off. “Missed me.” Kags said sticking out her tong.

The demon came at her again she jumped over it and landed 10 feet behind it.

“Kags here's your twin Katanas.” Souta yelled throwing them to her.

She caught one spun and caught the other and going into a fighting stance. With her left arm extended out toward the demon and her right elbow pulled back and her right hand had the katana pointing toward the demon.

The demon did a loud hissing like scream and apparently called his buddies cause a bunch of snake demons came running.

“Inu I'll take the one with the shard.” Kags called.

Which was the one in front of her.

“K come on guys there's one for all of us.” Inu said taking a fighting stance and pulling out tetsusiaga.

Everyone took a fighting stance Souta grabbing the twin daggers Kags gave him from her collection. Miroku readying his staff and Shippou grabbing his toys.

The snake demons charged and came toward them. Shippou pulled out a statue enlarged it and dropped it on the demons back slapping a little sutra on it. Miroku started fending it off with his staff till he got tired of that and sucked it up with his wind tunnel. Then got rid of the one Shippou trapped under the statue. Souta was fighting the demon off very well and had kill it in like ten minutes walking away with a few cuts and scrapes since it was his very first fight. InuYasha just kept hacking away at it till it was dead and chopped up into many tiny pieces. Kags was fending well and had sliced the two jewel shards out of its forehead. Then killed it by slicing it down its whole body and it falling to the ground in two halves.

“That was amazing thank you so much.” The girls said.

“Miroku don't even think about it.” Kags said.

“What?” Miroku asked innocently.

“Ku I've seen your future you're gonna have it good if you just stop that. I've seen that conversation you had with the girl's grandfather. I haven't seen the girl but I've seen her out line and she's hot.” Kags said with a smirk.

“Thanks for the perdition Lady Kagome.” Miroku said.

Well they went back to the village and one of the girls they saved was the lord's daughter so they got paid more then they would have before. They were paid about 500 pieces the lord was very generous because they saved his daughter. They left the village after buying a few things. Kags bought and outfit for her and Souta so they could keep a lower profile. Kags outfit was a short black haori with red designs like flowers or something and a pair of sandals. She had a pair of shorts she could wear with the outfit. Souta's was a sort dark blue haori with orange squares or something and sandals with a pair of short like hakama or something kinda like the things Kohaku wears under his.

A/N:: Tell me what ya think I broke my record on how long this took to write from when I started. It took 3 days stopping when I couldn't think of any thing. The last chapter took 4 or 5 days to write. Yay I broke my record. Lol well bye for now and does any body read these?
