Last time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

“By the power of the moon, I punish you!” A blast flew from my hand and flew into the demon knocking it off its feet.

It looked at me in horror and shouted,” You’re the moon child!” I didn’t know what he meant at the time and blasted him again, closing my eyes, and opened them to see that it was turned into dust. I fell to my knees from using so much of my strength.

Inuyasha’s voice called out from behind me demanding,” What the hell are you?!” I turned to him, seeing that he had Tetsusaiga out and pointed at me, holding Kagome’s now conscious form to him.

“Wh…what are you talking about Inuyasha,” I stutter out.

“You have a mark on your forehead and was just glowing a second ago.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“You don’t smell human either.”

“What mark is it?”

“A yellow crescent moon,” Kagome says, looking in awe. Sango and Miroku get up to see me and looked at me with wide eyes. I decided to run to the nearest river to see my reflection. To my surprise, there was indeed a glowing tilted crescent moon mark on my forehead and my brown hair turned blonde.

“What the hell?! I’m Sailor Moon?!”

This time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

Chapter 3

Luna and the Transforming Brooch; The Birth of Sailor Moon

I went back to the group and saw that Kouga was up. The rest of them were limping except Inuyasha and Shippo of course. Kouga walked up to me and looked as puzzled as Inuyasha was.

“What are you? You smell inhuman, but you don’t smell like a youkai either,” he says.

“Well, could I talk to Kagome alone for a few minutes? I mean she’s the only one that would understand what’s going on here,” I ask.

Inuyasha and Kouga both growl out,” NO!”

Kagome walks up to me and smiles. She then says,” I’ll talk to Cynthia-chan. I trust her not to try anything. It’s nice to know that you both care about me.” Kouga and Inuyasha both blush and Inuyasha tries to hide it by looking away.

“If you lay one hand on her, I’ll tear you limb from limb,” Inuyasha threatens.

“I’m her friend from school. What makes you think I’d hurt her bakas,” I shout at them.

Kagome holds me back, saying,” Let’s just go.” We walk to the edge of the woods and I start to tell her my opinion of things.

“Kagome-chan, don’t you think that this mark looks like the one from Sailor Moon,” I ask her.

She looks thoughtful for a minute then says,” But that’s impossible, isn’t that just an anime?”

“Yea, but that’s what I thought about youkai here. Also there are too many coincidences. For one my cat has a crescent moon shaped mark on her head also so I named her Luna. And another thing, this mark on my forehead. Then the youkai did also called me ‘the moon child’. I would doubt I’m related to Sesshomaru-sama.”

“Yea I guess is possible, but I doubt it. Wait - you have a cat named Luna?”

“Hai, I guess you could say that. There’s a moon shaped scar on her forehead and it reminded me of her so I named her Luna. Pretty silly of me though, for me to be obsessed of a fictional show.”

“Well the youkai saying that might be a hint to what you really are. I’m sure you’re not the only one obsessed.”

“How am I supposed to hide this mark. I’m sure I can explain the hair, but this is sort of crazy looking never-the-less.” She laughs, agreeing with me.

“So what do we tell them?”

“I don’t know, but they said that I don’t smell human. If I am Sailor Moon, I’m the reincarnation of the Moon Princess. Being from the moon would technically mean that I’m not human.”

“We’ll just tell them the honest truth.” We walk back together finding Kouga and Inuyasha arguing again. We just sigh at them.

“OSUWARI,” she says, sending a certain hanyou to the ground yelping. He gets up, turning to me with Kouga.

“So, what of it,” Kouga asks.

“Well it sort of sounds crazy, but here goes…I think I’m Sailor Moon, but there’s no certainty.”

“You’re what?!”

“A sailor senshi who protects justice and fights evil.”

“That does sound crazy,” Inuyasha snorts.

“I told you,” I sigh.

“Maybe you should go home since you stayed here way past when you were supposed to go back,” suggested Kagome.

I nod in agreement and say,” Yea I think I’ll go now. It was nice meeting you all.” I turn and walk towards the well, Kagome following with Inuyasha as the others excluding Kouga were waving goodbye to me.

Kouga runs in front of Kagome and says,” Well I’ll see you later Kagome.” He runs off, forming a tornado, thanks to the jewel shards in his legs.

“Bye Kouga-kun,” Kagome shouts. Inuyasha just grunts and mutters a goodbye to me before hurrying off.

“Well I’ll se ya at school Kagome,” I say hopping down the well to let the familiar purple light surround me to take me to my own era.

I walked home and walked in to find my mom in hysterics.

“Honey where were you?! Me and your father were worried sick about you! Are you ok? Why is your hair blonde,” she demands in English.

In the same language I respond,” No I’m not hurt. I went to my friend’s house to help get adjusted here. We went to Tokyo to get our hair done.”

“Wow it looks…interesting. You need to call before you do those things from now on.”

“Thanks. I’m sorry mom. I’ll never do it again. Can I go take a bath.”

My little brother Sammy runs down the stairs asking,” Are you in trouble?”

“No you little pest. Get out of my way. I need to take a shower,” I say with an annoyed look on my face. I shove him out of my way and go up the stairs.

“He shouts after me,” What’s biting you? You need a chill pill.” I just ignore him and continue on my way only to be greeted by my cat, Luna. She gave a look that resembled a shocked human.

“Like my new look Luna,” I ask holding up my bangs to show off the crescent moon. She walks into my room and wants me to follow her so I do, closing my door on the way in.

“I know you can talk so cut the shit,” I say to her. She continues to look at mw strangely then hops on my bed to look at me.

“All right. So you figured it out before I was sure that you were really her,” Luna says. I start to laugh hysterically and she looks angry at me and shouts,” This isn’t a time to be laughing!”

I choke out,” S…sorry…it’s…just…t…that…you̷ 0;l…look…so…funny….t…talking…” She just huffs and stares at me in anger until I calm down. After I regain my composure after 10 minutes, I say,” Can we talk about the details after I take a shower? I just got back from destroying a youma.”

“What?! You already are fighting?! You shouldn’t be able to.”

“Well I went to the Feudal Era with my friend Kagome-chan and youmas are all over that place…well actually they are all youkai.”

“Youkai?! What do you mean. Did you hit your head?”

“I wish…” I walk out and go to take a shower leaving a confused cat behind.

*******FLASHBACK*******

Cynthia was walking around in her town of Ohio, when she saw a bunch of kids picking on a defenseless little kitten. She was on her way home from school when she saw them in the playground.

She walked up to the little elementary school kids and threatened to smack them around if they didn’t stop. They of course ran off scared because she was a middle school student. She walked up to the cat and saw how scared it was. Cynthia thought of how much it looked like the cat on her favorite anime, Sailor Moon. It was black with a band-aide on its head. The cat shivered from the snowy weather and limped over to purr, rubbing its small body against her.

“Aww…maybe I can take you home. You look so horrible from this cold. I bet those kids did that to you,” she cooed to the cat.

The cat only meowed in response. “So I guess I’ll name you Luna. You remind me of this cat on my favorite show Sailor Moon.” The cat Luna gave an equivalent of a shocked look (probably because she knew about Sailor Moon and because she got her name right). Luna mewed happily at the name.

“I guess you like that name huh?” Cynthia pets Luna and picks her up to carry her home.

She goes into her house and washed the cat in the sink. After drying her off, she put her on the counter thinking of changing her band-aide. She removed it when a golden moon-shaped crescent appeared underneath it. She thought it was just a coincidence at the time and took Luna to watch TV with her.

*******END FLASHBACK*******

I got out of the shower to find Luna waiting patiently for my return. “So what do you got to tell me Luna,” I ask.

“You are Sailor Moon, champion of justice. Your mission is to-”

“Don’t tell me, to find the other sailor senshi and to find the Moon Princess and to defeat the Negaverse right?”

“Well everything except the Negaverse part. I don’t know exactly where Artemis is.”

“The white cat with Sailor Venus right?”

“Yes, how did you know?”

“Have you noticed how obsessed I am with the anime?!”

“Well you got a point there. You should be studying than watching TV.”

“Well this would help me defend justice if I know what’s going on beforehand. Don’t try to lecture me cat!”

She sighs heavily and I roll my eyes. She then jumps up into a flip and then a brooch lands on my bed. It is gold and circular with a crescent moon on it. It has colored jewels on it to correspond to the other planets of the inner senshi.

“Wow this is so cool! I could tell Kagome-chan about this. You can go with me to tell her.”

“You cannot tell anyone. The enemy could harm anyone who knows.”

“But you don’t even know who the enemy is. For all we know I should be running with Inuyasha and Kagome and help them defeat Naraku and get the Shikon-no-Tama back together.” Luna tilts her head to the side in utter confusion.

“What are you talking about and who are these people of whom you speak?”

“I’ll explain after you let me transform.” I pick up the transforming brooch and hold it up in front of me.

“Put the brooch, hold up your hand and say-”

“‘Moon Prism Power,’ right.” She growls in annoyance and nods her head. I hold my hand and shout,” MOON PRISM POWER, MAKE-UP!” It takes a minute, but in the end, I stand in my room in my Sailor Moon, blue and white fuku with a red bow on the front and back. Also in tall red boots and my new blonde hair put on buns and the crescent moon shape on my forehead has a tiara replacing it.

“This is so cool! I can’t believe I’m the REAL Sailor Moon! This fuku is a lot better looking in real life than on TV!” I was jumping up and down in happiness.

“Well quit jumping around. It’s not just fun and games. Also you said you’d tell me who this Kagome and Inuyasha people are.”

“I know…well instead of telling you about them. Why don’t we meet them?”

“You mean they really are in Sengoku Judai?”

“Yea. All you half to do is go through a well to get there. My friend is the miko who freed Inuyasha from the Goshinboku 500 years ago.”

“Impossible!”

“Well it’s true and you’ll believe me when we go there. A lot of things I thought never existed until I went. What I don’t understand is, why isn’t it not exactly like the manga?”

“Well the one Naoko Takeuchi wrote was based on what she witnessed, but it’s not the actual thing like this is.”

“I want to help Kagome and her friends though. They got hurt and I’m supposed to right all wrongs so I don’t see why I shouldn’t do it. If we can get through the well without Shikon-no-Kakara, then I have a reason for being there.”

“Let’s go then. We can find out more about the enemy if we can get through.”

“Right!” We leave a note on my door and sneak out the window, going to the well house. I hold Luna and I jump down the well and wait for the light to surround me. It dos after a few minutes and sends me to Sengoku Judai for a new mission against the enemy who is Naraku.
