Chapter 4: Of Moon, Ninjas, and More

Inside of Data Squad headquarters, we are in the infirmary as Davis and Kazuto are examined by a group of medical personal led by Sakura, who proceeds to bash him on the head.

Davis yells out, “Ow! Sakura, aren’t you supposed to take care of the sick?”

Sakura responds, with a deadly glare, “Be glad that I don’t make sure you have an ‘extended stay’, you baka! You really worried us especially me and Kari! Don’t you ever do something dumb like that again!”

Davis responds, nervously, “Okay, sis!”

Sakura then turns her attention to Kazuto and she yells out, “And you!”

Kazuto asks, “Yes, ma’am?”

Sakura points to Asuna and she says to Kazuto, “You are just as bad as my baka brother! If you ever make your girlfriend cry like that for doing something really stupid, I will make sure your stay here after escaping SAO look like a picnic! Now, you had better get on your hands and knees later, say you’re sorry, and spoil her silly or you are going to get it from me, got it?!”

Kazuto responds, very nervously, “Yes, ma’am!”

Sakura stomps away and Rika says, nervously, “And I thought that Asuna can be scary sometimes.”

Asuna gives a glare at Rika and Keiko tells Davis, “Davis-san, your sister is scary.”

Davis tells Keiko, “Tell me about Silica… I mean Keiko.”

Keiko responds, with a smile, “It’s all right.”

Yolei goes over to Davis and she tells him, “Well, I say that your sister had the right idea, baka. You worried the heck out of Kari.”

Davis tells Kari, “I’m sorry, Kari.”

Kari tells Davis, with a smile, “I understand, but try not to worry me like that ever again.”

Tai tells Davis, with a glare, “Yeah, bro. If you ever make my sister worry like that, you will wish that you were dead.”

Davis replies, with a nervous smile, “I got it, Tai.”

Ken asks Davis, “Anyway, Davis, do you feel okay?”

Davis responds, “I feel just fine, Ken.”

Cody says, “Well, you did find out that your grandfather was a guy that nearly tried to enslave another world which is the home world of a group of ninjas including a friend that helped Sailor Moon stop an evil villainess from doing the same to our world.”

Davis replies, drolly, “Don’t remind me, Cody.”

Matt asks Davis, “Anyway, do you feel any different?”

Davis says, “Well, I do feel stronger all of sudden and wonder why I’m in bed when I’m not sick. I just want to get out.”

Just then a voice says, “That’s because you have gained the same power that we have: The power of chakra.” Everyone looks to see the ninja and the Sailor Scouts enter the room.

Ken asks, “Are you sure?”
Ino says, “All of us can develop the ability to sense chakra, but I’m a sensor in which my senses are more advanced and in fact, I can detect very particular chakras in which I can tell that Davis-san has gained the power of chakra. And it is so huge that it is nearly overwhelming my senses, but I can sense similar energies that Naruto and Sasuke have or had in them.”

Sailor Uranus asks, “You mean the chakra of the Six Path Sage, Hagoromo, correct?”

Ino says, “That’s right.”

Kiba asks, “How is that possible?”

Kakashi says, “Madara gained the Six Path Sage’s chakra because at the time, he had chakra of Indra, the ancestor of the Uchiha and the elder son of the Sage, as the current ‘incarnation’ of Indra at the time. He gained Asura’s chakra from the First Hokage, who was the current ‘incarnation’ of Asura, the ancestor of the Senju and Uzumaki clans. He said that he impregnated his lover with Davis’ mother after he had gained the chakra of the Sage, so, it is possible that the chakra went to his mother and then to Davis-san.”

Davis says, “Well, I didn’t chose him to be my granddad! My mom said that she was told that she was adopted, but this is a bit much!”

Jiraiya tells Davis, “Well, kid, no one chooses their family and who your family is doesn’t define who you are. Naruto never knew his heritage until later on and it didn’t define who he is. He defined who he is.”

Tai says, with a grin, “That’s right, Davis. You are a hero. I mean, you are the main reason that the Digi-World and the Real World are safe from MaloMyotismon.”

Kari says, with a smile, “Tai’s right, Davis. It isn’t who your family, but your choices that make you who are.”

Davis says, with a smile, “Thanks, guys.” On the meanwhile, the ninja and Sailor Scouts are glancing at Sakura in which Ino is looking at her intently.

Ino thinks in her mind, “She looks so much like Forehead, but could it… it really be her?” Sakura then looks over to Ino and an image of Ino along with the other Leaf ninja appear in her mind as well as Tsunade and Ino especially.

Sakura shakes her head and she asks, “What are you looking at?”

Ino responds, “Nothing. You… You remind me of someone.”

Sakura replies, “Really? I didn’t think that anyone from another world would look like me.”

Ino says, with a smile, “Yeah. Especially with that forehead.” Just then it becomes so quiet that a pin can be dropped in which Davis and the older Digidestined look at Ino as if saying ‘Are you crazy?’ in which Sakura gives off major glare that if glares could kill someone, Ino would dead.

Sakura yells out, angrily, “What did you just say?!”

Sakura then stomps dangerously to Ino and Kakashi tells her, “Forgive our fellow Leaf ninja, Sakura-san.”
Sakura says, with a stern glare, “Well, she had better be! I’m not going to let some ‘alien girl’ that I just met insult me in my own medical bay, got it! You had better get that ‘porker mouth’ in check or I will do it for you, super human or not!” Sakura then stomps off and out of the medical bay in which she looks back at the Leaf ninja causing her to gain images of herself in the Leaf Village. Sakura shrugs off these visions and heads off into the distance.

Davis and the older Digidestined along with their Digimon partners sigh in relief and Davis yells out, “Are you crazy?!”

Joe says, “No joke! No one… And I mean no one makes fun of Sakura’s face!”

Tai says, “The last person that did that learned that she can make pretzels out of human beings!”

Yolei asks, nervously, “You’re kidding, right?”

Davis retorts, “You want to find out, four eyes?”

Matt says, “Trust me. Sakura is dangerous and she is a master of karate, judo, kung Fu… I mean I’m not sure that there is a martial art that she didn’t master in no time flat.”

Ryu then appears on the scene and he says, “In fact, she trains with Jun and Davis in the ways of the ninja of Earth and I think that it is vital given her origins.”

Sailor Pluto asks, “It’s her, isn’t it?”

Davis asks, “What do you mean?”

Ryu tells Davis, “Davis, I think that it is time that you told everyone how Sakura came to your family’s life. I already knew the truth about her origins, but I kept silent to protect her until the time is right.”

Davis asks Ryu, “Wait, cuz! You knew the truth about Sakura?”

Ken asks, “Davis, what is he talking about?”

Sailor Uranus says, “Sakura isn’t really your sister… biologically anyway.”

Davis says, with a nod, “Yep. My parents adopted Sakura when she came to us as a baby two years ago.” There are multiple gasps and Davis explains on how his family got Sakura about two years ago.

There are multiple gasps and Cody asks, “You adopted Sakura as a baby two years ago when you found her?”

Yolei says, “But she looks as old as you are!”

Davis says, “Yep! The instant that the SAO incident start… Snap! She started to age and grow up rapidly! You can’t believe at how mind blogging her development was! One minute, she was a giggling baby and now, she is a kick ass adult! It took a lot of work to make sure that no one found out and took her to be studied like a lab rat!”

Matt says, “We know since we saw it ourselves. And trust me, we had A LOT of questions for Jun and Davis especially when Sakura joined Data Squad.”

Mimi says, with a smile, “Through it doesn’t mean that she wasn’t welcome. Joe is most grateful.”

Joe says, with a nod, “Sakura is a medical genius.”

Ino says, “It shouldn’t be surprising since she had trained to be an expert in the medical arts back at home.”

Tenten asks, “Ino, are you sure?”

Ino says, “The nature of her chakra is none other. It’s her.”

Tai asks, “What are you talking about?”

Sailor Pluto says, “She is their lost comrade reborn.” Sailor Pluto then explains at what happened at the final battle between Sailor Moon/Sailor Cosmos and Naruto against Kaguya, Madara, and Sasuke.

The Digidestined gasp and Yolei asks, “Wait! Are you saying that Davis’ sister is that girl with that phoenix that saved Sailor Moon and Naruto-san from dying at the cost of her life?!”

Sailor Uranus says, “She fits Sakura Haruno to a major ‘N’ for ninja.”

Sailor Pluto says, “The phoenix brought Sakura to be reborn on Earth where the Motomiya family found her.”

Sailor Saturn says, “It seems like a similar situation to when I used my powers to stop Pharaoh Ninety and Super Sailor Moon helped me to be reborn as a baby in which some crises triggered her rapid growth.”

Izzy asks, “The SAO incident?”

Sailor Pluto says, “I think that the SAO incident was just the starter. The great power within her sensed the greater conflict to come. Ever since the end of the battle with Kaguya, Madara, and Sasuke and Naruto and our princess put to slumber, things on both worlds haven’t been at peace.”

Minato says, “Sasuke’s words of revolution have hit our world hard and while most take the way of Naruto, there are those think that Sasuke’s violent revolution is the way.”

Sailor Mars says, “And Earth is no better. There was the SAO incident and the growing war between Data Squad and their ‘dark counterparts’.”

Tai says, “No joke, Mars. The Chinese Data Squad and the Chinese military are dealing with the Dark Digidestined in ‘guerrilla war’ in the mountains of China, the American Data Squad is dealing with ‘crime syndicates’ of ‘dark’ and ‘shadow’ Digidestined in Mexican-American border in which the Mexican Data Squad is swamped, and we have our own set of problems.”
Kari, Cody, Yolei, and Ken are surprised and Ken says, “I didn’t know that things were that bad.”

Matt says, “We don’t blame you, Ken. You have been fighting for your lives for around two years in a virtual world with close to ten thousand other people.”

Sora says, “Things are pretty bad right now. In fact, the American Digidestined are winding down a battle at Fort Knox with assistance from the United States Army.”

Sailor Uranus says, “And expect it to get worse.”

The Digidestined look at Sailor Uranus and Jiraiya says, “The elder Toad sages back home have said that once Naruto and Lady Serena awaken from their ‘sleep’, the final battle for the universe will begin.”

Minato says, “And it is these sages that foretold of our world’s choosing of my son to be our world’s ‘savior’ and who will change our world.”

Joe asks, “Wait! Are you saying that we should expect all-out war for our worlds to start any time soon?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Exactly, kid. And Naruto and Lady Serena are two of the vital ‘keys’ that will protect our universe. Whoever has them and their power has the future of our universe in their hands.”

Davis says, drolly, “Just great.”

Minato says, with a serious tone, “However, it isn’t the only reason that we want them back.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “Got that right, Minato-dono. Serena is our princess and our best friend. We have got to get her back.”

Sailor Mercury says, “We are duty bound to protect her and she is our precious princess and friend. Over two years ago, we had ‘seal’ her and Naruto, another precious friend, anyway in the hopes of seeing them again one day soon.”

Sailor Neptune says, “I agree, Mercury.”

Kiba says, “No joke with Naruto! He is ass, but he is our friend and the hope for our future! He saved us all and gave it his all to save us!”

Hinata says, with a nod, “Yes, Naruto-kun is precious to us. I can’t let him go.”

Ino tells Hinata, with a grin, “Have dreaming of a romantic honeymoon?”

Hinata gives a major flush on her cheeks and Tenten tells Ino, “Get serious Ino!”

Tai says, “We understand where you are coming from.” Tai says, looking at Kari, “For a long time before we managed to get into SAO, all I could do was look at my sister’s motionless form and look on helpless as she wastes away in which she could die at any time, but even after we had managed to get into SAO, we could only stay in there for a limited time before we had to escape to make sure that we weren’t trap like them through I can’t help to wonder about that since Kayaba knew about virtualization.”

Matt says, “What Tai means to say that we know what it means to risk everything to save people that you care about. And the two of them are vital to our future.”

Sailor Pluto says, looking at Davis, “True, but it doesn’t mean that they aren’t the only ‘heroes’ that will ‘rise’ to the occasion.”

Davis says, “Hero, huh? I’m no hero.”

The other Digidestined are surprised by this and Yolei asks, “Okay, are you all right, Davis?”

Cody says, “Not to insult you, but that’s not like you, Davis.”

Davis sighs and Matt says, “You would be too, Cody.”

Tai tells Davis, “Davis, I’m not sure if we can understand what happened on THAT day, but we have a good idea.”

Joe says, “The scars of the battle of Hiroshima.”

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod of understanding, “I saw that on television during my rehabilitation. It look brutal.”

Palmon, Mimi’s Digimon partner, says, solemnly, “It was horrible.”

Gabumon, Matt’s Digimon partner, says, “It was nasty.”

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “By the look in your eyes and from what we saw on television, it was harsh.”

Tai says, plainly, “It degraded down to hand to hand fighting.”

Agumon says, solemnly, “It was the same for humans and Digimon in which we had to bite, claw, and gore at each other to survive.”

Joe says, “I had plenty of cases of the ‘one thousand yard’ stare.” There are plenty of gasps and Joe says, “And we learned plain and simple that we are completely at war.” Plenty of other notices that Tai, Matt, Izzy, Sora, Mimi, and Joe had clenched their hands into fist and pained looks in their eyes in which there are plenty among especially the ninja know that these are people that have been on the battlefield and seen the horrors of war.

Kari thinks in her mind, concerned, “Tai…”

Ino says, trying to change the subject, “Anyway, we should talk about Sakura.”

Sailor Pluto says, “It is best that we leave her alone for now.”

Ino asks, stunned, “What? Why?”

Sailor Neptune says, “Forcing her to remember who she was before her rebirth could cause emotional and mental trauma. Like it or not, we have to let her remember on her own.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a plain tone, “In due time, Sakura will remember her history, but it is best that we protect her until then.”

Sailor Mars says, “She holds that power of the phoenix, a force of rebirth, and if Kaguya gets those flames, she will be reborn stronger than ever before.”

Sailor Uranus says, “However, there is more to it, isn’t there? Sakura will play a vital role in this war’s outcome.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a plain tone, “The instant that she started to awaken her full potential, I knew then that in this ‘phase’, Sakura will play a vital role in the future of our universe. And she isn’t the only one.” Sailor Pluto asks, looking at the door, “Isn’t that right, Jun Motomiya?” Soon after, Jun Motomiya, wearing a female Data Squad uniform similar to Yoshino’s Data Squad uniform from Digimon Data Squad, walks into the room.

Matt asks, surprised, “Jun?”

Shikamaru says, “You heard everything.”

Jun says, with a smile, “You, ninja, are pretty good.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Wow. Even through this isn’t SAO, I thought that I was pretty good in sensing people.”

Minato says, “You know of your heritage.”

Jun says, “It doesn’t feel good to have the blood of a world enslaving nut in my veins, but in my mind, he is just insane asshole that just supplied the sperm to create my mother.”

Shino says, “I believe that plenty of my comrades would agree with you, Motomiya-san.”

Jun says, with a smirk, “Just call me Jun, Shino-san.” Jun asks Ryu, with a glare, “Anyway, sensei, you knew and never told us?”

Ryu responds, “My father thought it was best.”

Jun yells out, strongly, “It didn’t fucking matter! She may have been adopted, but Sakura is our sister! She is family!”

Ryu asks, “And if learning the truth causes her a mental breakdown?”

Davis responds, “Does Sakura look like a girl that can be broken so easily, sensei?”

Ryu replies, “Point taken, Davis.”

Sailor Pluto says, “However, for now, we wish for her identity to remain a secret and not to tell her anything. If her powers are unleashed at this stage, I fear that she won’t be ready for what’s to come.”

Davis says, with a snort, “Fine, we’ll play your game, but if it endangers our sister, Sailor Scout or not, we’re not playing it and then I’m going to kick your ass for putting Sakura in danger!”

Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune narrow their eyes at Davis and both Jun and Davis glare back at them in which Yolei says, with a groan and slapping her head, “Leave it to Davis to threaten a Sailor Scout.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “Easy, you two.”

Sailor Mars says, “I don’t like it when one of our own is threaten, but Sakura is family to them.”

Matt tells Sailor Mars, “Who said that was a threat? You have never seen Jun when she is mad.”

Tai says, with a nod, “You think Sakura is scary? Jun’s anger is like a raging wild storm.”

Jun says, with a wide smirk, “Got that right, buster.”

Lopmon, Jun’s partner, comes out and she says, “Jun is a nice person, but she is not a person that you want to mess around.”

Jun says, “Anyway, you should know that we have guard duty for that Duel Monsters tournament in Juuban.”

Veemon says, “Oh, yeah! The tournament for the survivors of the SAO incident!”

Rika asks, surprised, “A tournament for us?”

Sora says, with a nod, “That’s right, Rika-san. It is a special tournament created for survivors of the SAO incident and those that didn’t.”

Joe says, “It is a fund to create a memorial for all those that died and help those survivors to get on with their lives.”

Asuna says, with a warm smile, “That’s wonderful.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “That’s good, but not all of the survivors are good people.”

Matt says, nodding his head in understand, “We know that. We are making sure to interview people to find out who are those that are innocent and good players and those that are the ‘criminals’ especially those that PK people in the game for various reasons.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Good. Those… heartless fiends don’t deserve anything. They knew better and yet, they still murdered knowing that dying there meant that we didn’t here.”

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod, “Yeah, Kirito. They are almost as bad as Kayaba-teme. Almost.”

Sailor Venus asks, “So, this tournament for us, SAO survivors, it is taking place in Juuban?”

Veemon says, with a smile, “Yep! It is a big thing!”

Gabumon says, “And we’re going to be there to make sure that it goes off without a hitch.”

Kakashi says, “Your enemies must like to cause terror in events like that.”

Tai says, with a nod, “Exactly.”

Davis says, with a grin, “Doesn’t mean that we aren’t going to be a part of it.”

Matt says, with a smile, “No joke! It is going to be awesome!”

Sailor Uranus says, “A Duel Monsters tournament in Juuban, huh? It could be what we need to bring out our ‘reluctant princess’.”

Choji asks, “What do you mean?”

Sailor Neptune says, “Our princess loves games and she is one of our best duelists. She loved Duel Monsters and she had a duelist’s spirit.”

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “And even with her memories gone, I doubt that Sailor Moon will be able to stay away.”

Sailor Venus says, with a smile, “Sailor Moon always loved games and Duel Monsters was one of her favorites!”

Sailor Jupiter says, “Yeah, it was probably a good thing that she was asleep for the whole SAO nightmare. She would have jumped at the NervGear and she could have been trapped with Venus and me.”

Sailor Saturn says, “Please don’t say that.”

Sailor Mars asks, annoyed, “Are you trying to give us nightmares, Jupiter-chan?”

Matt says, “A nightmare that might become reality if Kayaba confirming what we found out about those two new VRMMO is true.”

Davis says, “Funny thing is… Kayaba didn’t have any reason to lie.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I doubt that he has anything to lose or gain from this since he is just a ‘spirit’ in cyberspace.”

Izzy asks, “What is this ‘Digi-Quartz’ that he just mentioned?”

Gatomon says, “It is an old legend that talks about a ‘special area’ in-between the real and Digital Worlds where Digimon can easily crossover and vice-versa.”

Kari asks, “Are you sure, Gatomon?”

Gatomon says, with a nod, “I’m sure, Kari. But it is an old legend.”

Tai says, “Well, who knows what Kayaba found across the net? Remember, the Digital World was created from the data going throughout the World Wide Web and internet as well as people’s dreams.”

Izzy says, “We can’t be sure what’s in that ‘digital frontier’.”

Sailor Venus asks, curiously, “Anyway, did anyone tell Sailor Moon’s parents that she is awake?”

Sailor Jupiter responds, nervously, “Actually, I don’t think so.”

Davis says, “Yeah, I think that the parents might not like to know that their daughter in the hands of her ‘royal pops’ added to fact that she just stole something from Data Squad.”

Sailor Uranus says, with a glare, “Thanks a lot, pal.”

Rika tells Kazuto, with a smirk, “Anyway, you have got a lot of spoiling to do for Asuna after that stunt that you pulled or Davis’ sister might turn you into latest ‘test subject’ for her medical techniques.”

Kazuto responds, nervously, “R-Right.” Asuna smiles sweetie while plenty of the others give cheeky smiles while Hinata can’t help to think about not only Naruto, but our Moon Princess too.

Hinata thinks in her mind, concerned, “Naruto-kun…” Hinata then sees images of Princess Serenity, Queen Serenity, and the other Moon Princess and she thinks in her mind, “What are these images? And why do I feel so concerned for Lady Serena too? I feel… I feel bond as deep as feel with Hanabi. And when I saw Queen Serenity, I felt a powerful bond with her like she was my mother. Why do I feel this way?” Around this time, Sakura is walking along and then images of her ‘previous life’ as Sakura Haruno flash through her mind and then images of a phoenix and a mysterious Sailor Scout with her pink hair and a sun sigil on her forehead. Sakura stumbles forward and she shakes her head.

Her Digimon partner, Renamon, appears and she asks, “Are you okay, Sakura?”

Sakura responds, “I’m okay, Renamon.”

Renamon asks, “Are you sure?”

Sakura tells Renamon, “I’m fine, Renamon. Don’t worry.”

Renamon says, with a nod, “Okay, Sakura.”

Sakura thinks in her mind, “But what was that all about? Those people… Why did they look so familiar to me? And that blond haired girl and the Sailor Scouts! Geez, my brother gets into the most incredible situations!”

(Elsewhere in the universe; Later on)

Within another part of the universe, we find ourselves within the world of Kinmoku where one of the most powerful Sailor Soldiers of in the universe, Sailor Galaxia, is with Princess Kakyuu and her guardians, the Sailor Starlights.

Sailor Galaxia tells Princess Kakyuu, “Princess Kakyuu, I take it that you have sensed what I have felt.”

Princess Kakyuu says, with a nod, “I have Sailor Galaxia.”

Sailor Galaxia says, “It seems like the forces of discord are gathering around two worlds: Earth and Gaea.”

Princess Kakyuu asks, “Gaea?”

Sailor Galaxia says, with a nod, “The world that was separated from the rest of the universe centuries ago when the Silver Millennium in the Solar System of the Milky Way ended, correct. Just over two years ago, the space-time storms vanished and Gaea returned to the universe at large.”

Princess Kakyuu responds, “However, the darkness within it has emerged.”

Sailor Galaxia says, “Yes. There is also something else.”

Princess Kakyuu responds, “The incredible power that you sensed coming from Earth those years ago.”

Sailor Galaxia says, “I believe that it was Sailor Moon.”

Sailor Starfighter asks, “Sailor Moon?”

Sailor Galaxia responds, with a nod, “I believe so. She has done the impossible again. I felt it through my Sapphire Crystal and I know that you and your guardians sensed it from your Star Seeds. She has acquired one of the most powerful forces in our universe: The Cosmos Crystal, the container of the Lambda power.”

Princess Kakyuu and the Sailor Starlights gasp in shock and Sailor Starhealer says, “It should only be a myth.”

Sailor Galaxia says, “You know that it is true, Sailor Starhealer.”
Princess Kakyuu says, “The legendary Cosmos Crystal, but I thought that the Silver Crystal was only a ‘key’.”

Sailor Galaxia says, with a plain tone, “I believe that the Imperium Silver Crystal of Sailor Moon is the ‘key’ to the Cosmos Crystal, but there is a ‘lock’ or ‘door’ to that great power in which Sailor Moon must have found it. However, those two years ago, I sensed the light within the star of the Earth prince fade.”

There are gasps and Sailor Starfighter asks, “The Earth prince?”

Sailor Galaxia says, with a nod, “I sense it. The light of his star faded and I would have gone to investigate, but the unleashing power that came from Gaea causing great shifts in the balance of all in our universe and beyond. I also still had much work to repair the damage that Chaos did while it was in control of my body.”

Princess Kakyuu asks, “So, a great battle is starting on Earth?”

Sailor Galaxia responds, “One with the fate of our universe at stake, Lad Kakyuu. We must return to Earth.”

Sailor Starhealer asks, “And also hoping to find a ‘cure’ for ‘that’, Sailor Galaxia?”

Sailor Galaxia’s eyes widen and Princess Kakyuu asks, “Sailor Galaxia?”

Sailor Galaxia responds, “My time is short and we must hurry to Earth. I must complete my task or my power may be lost forever and the universe in greater danger.” Sailor Galaxia then starts to violently cough and Princess Kakyuu and her guardians look over concerned in which bits of blood are coming out of her mouth.

(Sometime soon after; back on Earth)

Within Juuban, we are at the Tsukino family household, the home of Serena’s/Sailor Moon’s Earth family, in which Sailor Moon floats down from the sky and goes to the window of her room as Serena Tsukino in which she manages to open the window and enter the room. Unknown to Sailor Moon, the rest of the Sailor Scouts, the two talking felines, Luna and Artemis, and the Tsukino family are in the living room/kitchen of the Tsukino family and discussing current events.

Kenji screams out, “You lost her?! You lost our girl!”

Ikuko tells Kenji, “Sweetie, please.”

Kenji yells out, strongly, “I will not calm down, Ikuko! We nearly lost our daughter when she went off saving the universe!”

Ikuko responds, “I know! I don’t want to lose my princess again, but yelling at them won’t get her back!”

Kenji then shuts up and Sammy asks, “So, Meatball Head is suffering memory problems?”

Raye responds, “Major ones, Sammy. She hadn’t fully recovered when she got a rude ‘wake up call’ by that freak trying to suck her enemy to revive Kaguya.”

Amara says, “We believe that both Naruto and Serena are suffering from the same thing. Their bodies are just fine, but it is their memories that are splintered.”

Lita says, “She is remembering some stuff. Just the bad ones like Darien’s death. It has given her some kind of ultra-obsession to protect people that she cares about and to make sure that no one suffers like she did.”

Luna says, “This isn’t good at all. I’ve wanted Serena to take her duties as Sailor Moon seriously, but not to the level that you are talking about. If anyone deserves anything good, it is her.” Luna sheds a few tears and she asks, “How could it come to this?”

Artemis says, “Easy, Luna. We’ll get her back.”

Mina asks, “I just thought of something: What if Serena comes after Rini?”

Amara asks Hotaru, “Do you still have Rini’s star seed?”

Hotaru takes out a glowing crystal and she says, with a solemn tone, “Yes, I do. I can feel Rini in here and she seems to be growing stronger, but I also feel a powerful pulse from her seed.”

Trista says, “The need to be born.”

Sammy says, looking at the star seed, “I can’t believe that Rini was actually Meatball Head’s girl! But then again, they are so alike.”

Just then Rini’s voice echoes, “I am not like that Meatball Head!”

Everyone gives a look of surprise and Hotaru asks, surprised, “Rini?”

Michelle says, “I guess the spirit of the Rini that we know is still with us… in a way.” As the group continues their discussion upstairs, inside of Serena’s room, Sailor Moon, with her wings retracted into her body, is looking around and she can’t help to be familiar with the room.

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, “Why do I feel like I know this place? Like… it’s my home?” Just then images of her life as Serena Tsukino appear in her mind and Sailor Moon winches as it causes her a headache. She shakes her head and she finds a name tag with her Earth name on it and she thinks, “Serena Tsukino? That name…” She then sees pictures of herself in the room and she thinks, amazed, “That… That’s me! Darien-kun and me! Serena Tsukino… Is… Is that my real name in this life?” Sailor Moon grunts out and she shakes her head in which she thinks, “There is no time! I’ve got to get what I need to get from here and get back to dad!” Sailor Moon goes through her drawers of her moon, she then finds her star locket music box, and when it plays music, Sailor Moon sheds a tear remembering that it was her locket in her previous life which Darien gave back in this life during her early adventures as Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon pockets the star locket and goes through the other drawers including she finds her Duel Monsters deck in which she puts it in her sub-space pocket as well.

But then Luna’s voice booms, in shock, “Sailor Moon?!” Sailor Moon whips to the source to find our black Lunarian talking feline looking at her in shock. Sailor Moon takes a step back and Luna says, “Wait, Sailor Moon!”

Just then memories of Luna come back to her and Sailor Moon asks, holding her head, “Lu… Luna?” But then they hear a legion of steps coming up to the room in which the Sailor Scout surrounds the front door and they are shocked to see her.

Sailor Moon prepares to take her leave and Hotaru says, “Serena-hime, please wait! We can help you!”

Ami says, pointing to her forehead, “That… That sigil!”

The other Sailor Scouts are shocked to see the two moon sigils on her forehead and Trista says, “The sigil of the Black Moon family.”

Sailor Moon responds, “My father’s family, Pluto.”

Luna says, stunned, “Geminios-dono is still alive!”

Sailor Moon yells out, sternly, “Very much so after being sealed away just because some jerks didn’t like my dad being my mom’s lover!”

Luna asks, surprised, “S-Sealed? But I thought…”

Sailor Moon shouts out, sternly, “Well, you thought wrong! They had told my mother that dad had been convinced to leave and they tricked her out of her fear of him suffering the same fate as all lovers of past Moon Queens!”

Michelle asks Trista, “Did you know this Trista?”

Trista gives a solemn look and Amara says, “I thought so.”

Sailor Moon says, “But dad doesn’t blame mom. He knows the truth and he intends for us to be a family again.”

Raye asks, “Say what?”

Trista says, her eyes widen, “No, he can’t!”

Sailor Moon responds, “He will.” But then before anyone could say or do anything else, a snake bursts through the window and wraps around Sailor Moon’s waist in which she yelps out, “What the fuck?!” She then yelps as she is yank out of the room and through the window with a mighty crash as the window is destroyed.

Luna and Sailor Scouts yell out in unison, horrified, “Sailor Moon!” They run to the destroyed window to see Sailor Moon get flung out of the Tsukino home and into the yard in which Sailor Moon uses the power of her new broach.

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

Soon after, Sailor Moon is engulfed in a bright light and out of that light, she comes out in her ‘Black Swordsman/Swordswoman form’.

Sailor Moon yells out, “Aincard! Equip: Star Saber!” The Star Saber and its sheath appears on her back and Sailor Moon draws it in which she cuts through the snake around her waist, killing it, and she lands on the ground, but she quickly whips around and unleashing a powerful wave of energy that slams into Orochimaru himself causing a strong explosion. Sailor Moon just stands there for moment, but when she senses something, she whips around and Orochimaru, with his neck extended out like a snake, attempts to bite her in the neck, but Sailor Moon forces him back with the Star Saber.

Orochimaru says, with a sly smile, “Not bad, princess. You may have a warrior’s spirit after all.”

Sailor Moon asks, “Who are…?” But then Sailor Moon gains memories about Naruto talking about Orochimaru and looking at Naruto’s memories to learn about Orochimaru in which Sailor Moon says, getting into a defensive stance, “I remember now! You are Orochimaru, one of the sickos from Naruto’s world, and the guy that uses that sick technique to take over people’s bodies!”

Orochimaru says, “I see that you have heard of me. Most likely from our young ‘Sage of the Cosmos’ I believe that he called himself.”

The other Sailor Scouts sees this and Lita says, “Shit! That snake freak again!”

Raye says, “He’s after Serena, Naruto, and the Silver Crystal! Let’s go!” Immediately, the Sailor Scout rush to get outside and prepare to transform into their Scout forms while Sailor Moon’s Earth family rush to see what’s happening outside.

Kenji says, “It’s her!”

Ikuko yells out, “Serena!”

Sailor Moon overhears Ikuko’s yell and she looks at her in which she gets a curious look causing her to think, “Those people… who are they? They seem so familiar to me.”

Sammy asks, “Whoa! What’s the ‘dark swordsman’ look?”

However, Sailor Moon is distracted and Orochimaru yells out, extending his neck out again, “Distracted, your majesty!” Sailor Moon whips her around only to seemly get bitten in the waist by Orochimaru’s snake-like fangs.

Kenji, Ikuko, and Sammy gasp and they yell out in unison, horrified, “Serena!” But then Sailor Moon vanishes in a puff of smoke and is replaced by a cartoon-like doll of her in which Orochimaru’s eyes widen at this.

Sailor Moon’s voice booms, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Elucidator and Dark Repulser!” Orochimaru then looks to see to Sailor Moon, with Elucidator and Dark Repulser in her hands, and seemly behead Orochimaru, but then ‘Orochimaru’ turns into mud completely. Sailor Moon is confused, but then a massive snake bursts out of the ground from under her and she yelps as she is caught in the jaws in which she impales the two of the head with her swords and struggles with all of her strength not to get swallowed!

Orochimaru comes out of the pavement and he says, with a sinister smile, “Not bad, but it will take more a simple Substitution to get rid of me, my dear.”

Just then a familiar female voice shouts out, “Then what about this you snake!” Orochimaru looks to the source only to dodge a barrage of kunai and shuriken.

“Fire Style: Strike Phoenix Jutsu!”

Orochimaru then looks to see a massive fiery phoenix coming down from above and he yelps as he barely dodges the attack while Sailor Uranus, running like the wind, beheads the giant snake causing it to vanish a large puff of smoke.

Sailor Moon says, disgusted, “That’s so gross!”

Sailor Uranus asks, “Are you all right?”

Sailor Moon responds, “I’m fine.” On the meanwhile, Orochimaru finds the other Sailor Scouts, in their Eternal Shinobi forms, surrounding him.

Sailor Mars says, “You aren’t getting your hands on Sailor Moon, snake!”

Orochimaru responds, with a smirk, “We shall see. I can tell that you are stronger than before… mainly.”

Sailor Venus asks, “What do you mean mainly?”

Orochimaru says, “I’ve been on this world for over a year, so, you don’t think that I haven’t heard of events known as the ‘SAO incident’ in which my new associate and I are great interest in.”

Sailor Mercury asks, “New associate?”

Orochimaru responds, “You are going to have to wait and find out, little girl. Farewell for now.” Orochimaru then ‘transforms’ into a legion of snakes that spread out all over the place in which the Sailor Scouts can’t destroyed all of them and many of them do escape.

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, clenching her swords tightly, “I can’t believe it! The others had to risk their lives for me, again! I swore that no one would ever risk their lives for me… that I would protect them and I was useless! This won’t… This can’t happen again! I will get stronger! I need to get stronger to protect everyone!” Both Sailor Moon’s sigils glow and Sailor Mars senses a slight ‘dark aura’ from Sailor Moon.

But then Rini’s star seed leaves Sailor Saturn’s sub-space pocket and she shouts out, “Rini!” Everyone then looks to see Rini’s star seed goes into Sailor Moon’s hands.

Rini’s voice then booms out, “Mommy!”

Sailor Moon then remembers Rini and she says, with tears in her eyes, “Rini… my little girl…” Sailor Moon cradles the star seed close to her and she says, happily, “Mommy is here, sweetie. I won’t ever leave you and despite the brat that you were from Crystal Tokyo, you are the most important thing to me. Don’t ever leave me either.”

Rini’s voice booms out, “Silly Meatball Head, I will never leave you, mommy.” As Sailor Moon cradles Rini’s star seed, Sailor Uranus uses her ninja skills to sneak up on her.

Sailor Uranus thinks in her mind, “I’m sorry, kitten, but I can’t let you get away.” Sailor Moon then senses danger, but it is too late as Sailor Uranus grabs her from behind much to the surprise of the others.

Sailor Moon yells out, “Hey, Uranus!”

Sailor Uranus says, “I’m sorry, princess. I can’t let you escape since you lost you for over two years and you are not yourself. I can be feel something ill in the wind around you and your actions at Data Squad headquarters tells me so.”

Sailor Moon retorts, “You think that I liked that? I need to know about the Corona Aurora.”

Sailor Uranus says, “And we can’t let it in anyone’s hands including yours at this moment!” Sailor Uranus holds onto Sailor Moon tightly in which she struggles to get away and the other Sailor Scouts are torn at this whole situation. Sailor Uranus tells Sailor Saturn, “Firefly, please take back Rini’s star seed.”

Sailor Moon yells out, reacting on pure motherly instinct, “No!” Sailor Moon then slams her boot onto Sailor Uranus’ right foot causing her to yelp out in extreme pain causing her to loosen her grip in which Sailor Moon slams her elbow into her gut causing Sailor Uranus to stumble back as the wind is knocked out of her. And in a perfect ballet-like spin, Sailor Moon spins around and lands a powerful kick to Sailor Uranus’ gut knocking her to the ground, hard!

Sailor Neptune shouts out, shocked, “Uranus!”

Sailor Moon yells out, sternly, “You aren’t taking my baby away from me, Uranus! She’s my daughter and the only thing left of Darien-kun! She may have been a pain from the future, but she is still my girl and no one is taking away my chance for a family!” Sailor Moon then teleport away before anyone could stop her and Sailor Neptune goes over to the fallen Sailor Uranus.

Sailor Mars shouts out, angrily, “WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING?! NEVER… AND I MEAN NEVER THREATEN TO TAKE AWAY A MOTHER’S CHILD ESPECIALLY FROM SOMEONE LIKE SAILOR MOON!!!”

Sailor Jupiter says, annoyed and with a sarcastic tone in her voice, “That was a real genius move, Uranus.”

Sailor Neptune says, with a sigh, “I hate to say that they have a point, Uranus. I would feel the same way if someone threatened to take away our Firefly from me.”

Sailor Saturn smiles warmly at her adoptive mother and Sailor Uranus says, with a sigh, “Okay… I get it. It was beyond dumb.”

Sailor Saturn asks, “But what do we do now?”

Sailor Venus asks, “What was Sailor Moon doing here?”

As Sailor Moon’s Earth family and the two Lunarian felines run up, Luna says, “I think that I might know. Her star locket and her dueling deck are missing.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, “Her dueling deck?”

Luna says, with a nod, “That’s right. Her star locket represents the precious bond of love between her and Darien and it looks like that you were right to say that her dueling instincts would compel her to join the tournament through I doubt that it was that reason alone.”

Sailor Mercury says, “She must want the prize of the tournament.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “I wouldn’t be surprised, Mercury.”

Sailor Venus says, with a nod, “Man! What a prize!”

Sailor Uranus says, “But you know what cost that prize came from, right? It is a pretty gruesome prize.”

Sailor Mercury says, “But knowing who they were, I think that they might have wanted it that way.”

Sailor Pluto says, “At least we can confirm that she will be part of the dueling tournament.”

Sailor Saturn asks, “But what about Rini?”

Sailor Uranus says, “There is nothing that we can do.”

Sailor Pluto says, “I don’t think that she will put Rini’s star seed into her yet due to the fact that she will have to endure the same pregnancy that humans endure, so, since she has to do plenty of ‘dangerous stuff’, she won’t put Rini’s life in danger.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “Not unless there is a way to speed up the pregnancy.”

(Within the Elemental Countries; around this same time)

Inside of the Elemental Countries, we head into the Leaf Village where we find Tsunade Senju, originally age 55, but she is more like 27 years of age due to Kaguya regressing her body down and taking away all of the damage that she suffered using Yin seal over the years when she used her against Naruto by ‘possessing’ her, is inside of the hospital looking over herbs, potions, and whatnot.

Shizune, age 33, comes into the room and she asks, “What is that Lady Tsunade?”

Tsunade says, “This is the potion that I had developed for pregnant kunoichi that accelerated the birthing process.”

Shizune says, with a nod, “It worked and the kunoichi gave birth in three hours, but they died after giving birth.”

Tsunade says, “Yes. I was wondering what went wrong since those kunoichi were young and strong, but I’m thinking that all of them that died using this thing also suffering forms of mental and emotional ‘weakness’ at the time.”

Shizune asks, “Wait! Lady Tsunade, are you saying that if they had a strong spirit and heart at the time, they would have lived?”

Tsunade says, looking at the potion, “It is only a theory, Shizune. There is evidence to support it, but nothing conclusive.”
Shizune tells Tsunade, “Lady Tsunade, I hope that you don’t plan to test it yourself.”

Tsunade responds, with a blush, “No way, Shizune! And plus, I would…”

Shizune responds, with a blush, “Well, since you are physically young, again, you…” Tsunade glares at Shizune and she responds, nervously, “I’m sorry, Lady Tsunade!”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “Forgive, Shizune. However, that perverted teammate of mine is giving me a headache the instant that he learned that I was young, again, thanks to Kaguya.”

Shizune says, with a sigh, “Jiraiya-sama has been ‘hitting on you’, again.”

Tsunade says, “It is the reason that he has been close to returning to the land of the dead, Shizune.”

Shizune sighs at this and Shizune asks, “Are you really going, my lady?”

Tsunade says, “No kidding I’m joining, Shizune! I already lost Nawaki, Dan, and now, even Sakura! I’m not going to sit around and lose Naruto too!”

Shizune tells Tsunade, “But the guardians of Lady Serena said that Sakura could be revived.”

Tsunade responds, “But she may not be the same person, Shizune. And she may never be the same Sakura again, Shizune.” Shizune nods her head and Tsunade says, “However, it is nice that Sakura has a second chance at life. She went above and beyond saving Naruto. And now, it is our turn to make sure that what she did wasn’t in vein.”

Shizune says, with a nod, “Of course, Lady Tsunade.”

Tsunade says, “Anyway, I’ll bring these things with me to Earth. With their advanced technology and chemicals, I might be able to improve this potion better.”

Shizune tells Tsunade, “Well, it doesn’t seem that you will need it with the nations coming together.”

Tsunade says, “Well, thanks to that Uchiha brat, he is causing more discord and even with the great nations coming together, we might need a perfected version of this.”

Shizune says, solemnly, “Good point, my lady.”

Tsunade says, “Thanks to Minato being back, we can use his kunai and his guard platoon to teleport me to Earth.”

Shizune asks, “But who will run the village while we’re gone?”
Tsunade says, with a smile, “I’m sure that Hiashi and the ninja council can handle them since there is no more civilian council, but a civilian advisory and board for civilian affairs for the Hokage and ninja council with NO power in ninja affairs at all, I doubt that they will do anything Shizune.”

Shizune says, “As you know, with them learning about Naruto’s power, they are not only fearful, but also desiring him.”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “Ironic, but those assholes won’t do a thing to Naruto especially with his dad back in town. The Leaf learned the hard way.”

Shizune says, with a nod, “They learned why Stone feared him during the third ninja war. However, it doesn’t mean that they won’t try and they are pushing for CRA.”

Tsunade says, with a scoff, “They can ‘advise’ all they want, Shizune. They have no power in ninja affairs and with Danzo dead as a doornail and Mebuki disgraced, they have nothing.”

Shizune says, “However, the former elders do and while the Fire Daimyo agreed that they are permanently removed, they still have some influence.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “I know, but they won’t do anything stupid, yet.”

Shizune says, “Yes, I know.”

Tsunade says, “Anyway, we need to get to get to Earth. I’m going to get Naruto back and find out what’s going on there.” Shizune nods her head and she thinks, “The gaki and his alien princess friend risked everything for our world… our universe and they nearly died in the attempt. Sakura died to ensure that they live and we have a bright future ahead of us. I will do what’s necessary to save them.”

(Returning to Earth; A few days later)

On Earth, once more, we find ourselves within the Juuban district and within Juuban’s park where there is a massive crowd and what looks like an outdoor fair going on in which there is a banner that says ‘The SAO Memorial Tournament and Fair’ where there is an elaborate ring set up for using Duel Disks in a Duel Monsters tournament set up in one area and a lot of stands and other stuff seen at Japanese style fairs and such. Within the park/fair grounds, Kazuto, Asuna, still in her wheelchair, Rika, and Keiko are with Tsuboi Ryoutarou, a young man of 24 years with spiky brown-red hair, a red headband over his forehead, gentle brown eyes, stubble on his chin, and wearing a business suit. Tsuboi was known as Klein in SAO, leader of an elite ‘clearer’ guild, a group of players that worked to get to the top of Aincard in SAO. He is also one of Kazuto’s few friends in SAO and one of his best male friends.

The other one is Andrew Gilbert Mills, known as Agil in SAO, who is a twenty-nine year old male of African heritage with a massive and bulky bald man with a brown goatee and brown eyes. He also has two silver earrings on his left ear. He was a friendly and helpful person in which he was a merchant and ‘clearer’ in which he seemed to only care about money, but he used his money to help the mid-level players of SAO until they got out of there.

Tsuboi tells Asuna, “It is good to see you again, Miss Asuna.”

Asuna responds, “Nice to see you, too, Klein. And it is good to see you, again, Agil.”

Andrew responds, with a smile, “I’m just glad that you are finally out of there, Asuna.”

Just then a female voice shouts out, “Hey!” Everyone looks to see the Sailor Scouts, in their civilian forms, coming up to them with a young 15 year teen girl with short black hair and dark grey eyes in which she has voluptuous chest that’s showing even under her modest clothing.

The young girl tells Kazuto, “Hey, big brother!”

Kazuto asks, surprised, “Sugu? What are you doing here?”

The young girl tells Kazuto, displaying a Neo Domino City style duel disk with a dueling deck inside, “What do you think? I’m taking part in the tournament!”

Asuna asks Kazuto, “Kirito… Kazuto-kun, who is this?”

Kazuto tells Asuna, pointing to her, “Oh, this is my sister, Kirigaya Suguha. She was the one that helped me and Yui rescue you from ALO.” Kazuto tells the young girl, “Sugu, this is Asuna Yuuki. I told you about her.”

The young girl, Kazuto’s younger sister, in actually, she is Kazuto’s cousin since Kazuto was adopted by his aunt, thinks in her mind, looking at Asuna, “So, this is her. The Asuna that captured my big brother’s heart. She’s beautiful.” The young girl, Suguha, tells Asuna, “It is nice to meet you, Asuna-san.”

Asuna says, with a smile, “It is nice to meet you, too, Suguha-san.”

Suguha tells Asuna, “Kazuto told me all about you.”

Asuna asks, “He did?”

Suguha says, “He talked about you a lot after he got out of ‘that place’.”

Keiko tells Kazuto, “Your sister is very pretty, Kirito… I mean Kazuto.”

Suguha asks, looking at Keiko, “Who is this?”

Kazuto points to Rika and Keiko and he says, “They are two of my friends that I met ‘over there’, Sugu. The younger one is Keiko. I knew her as Silica and she was a ‘beast tamer’ since she had befriended a small dragon monster which she called Pina. And this is Rika. Asuna and I knew her as Lisbeth and she was a top level mace user and one of the best blacksmith.Rika says, “Got that right, pal.” Soon after, Kazuto introduced his other friends and fellow SAO survivors to his sister/cousin while Yusei, Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo, and human Luna are also coming into the park with Crow and Akiza wheeling Leo and human Luna around.

Leo says, excitedly, “Wow! This is so cool!”

Crow says, with a grin, “This is real big event, huh? I’ve got to say that I can’t wait to start dueling here!”

Jack says, with a nod, “Not bad. A bit small, but it is good enough to show what the ‘world king’ can really do.”

Akiza tells Jack and Crow, “Well, we aren’t here just for fun, you two. Remember, we need to find out what set off our dragons in such a ‘dark way’.”

Yusei says, “Akiza is right.”

Crow says, pointing ahead of them, “Well, don’t think that we will have time to investigate.” When everyone looks at where Crow is pointing, before they knew, they are mobbed by a group of reporters asking them all sorts of questions.

Akiza whispers to Yusei, “Now what, Yusei?”

Yusei whispers in reply, “I wish that I knew. I can handle Dark Signers, Yliaster, and stopping a nightmare future, but I haven’t figured out how to handle reporters.”

Jack whispers to Yusei, “Good luck on that Yusei. I think that reporters are the only thing that you can’t figure your way out of.” Crow nods his head in agreement as the former Signers deal with the reporters. On the meanwhile, all around and inside of the fairgrounds itself, there are many police vehicles and a small army of Digimon and their Digidestined human partners, both male and female, in Data Squad uniforms with Davis, flanked by ExVeemon, is talking with a police chief and his men and women.

Davis says, “Thanks for the support, chief.”

The police chief responds, “After you and your group saving my men and women a while ago, it is an honor.”

ExVeemon responds, “Just doing our job, officer. Through it feels kind of strange saying that to an officer of the law.”

Davis says, “No joke, ExVeemon.”

ExVeemon says, “Anyway, you had better join the others in the tournament ground, Davis.”

Davis responds, with a nod, “Right, buddy.” Soon enough, Davis attaches a duel disk similar to Yusei’s Duel Disk to his left wrist, puts a dueling deck inside, and takes off for the ground where they are holding the Duel Monsters tournament. There is a large group assembled together as the spokesperson for the tournament, who is none other than Helena Douglas, head of DOAETC.

Helena says, in her French accent and over a microphone, “Bonjour, everyone! Today, we are holding SAO Memorial Duel Monsters tournament sponsored by Kaiba Corp, Industrial Illusions, and my company, DOAETC, host of the Dead or Alive tournaments! I ze sorry for bringing up bad memories for many of you, but everyone must know why this tournament is being held! Over two years ago, one of the greatest nightmares and tragedies of mankind happened: The SAO incident. Where one man, Akihiko Kayaba, for reasoning that’s known only to himself, trapped ten thousand people within something that should have been the first step in a new universe of gaming: The age of the virtual gaming where a person can literally ‘dive’ their mind into the game. But instead, it had become ze ultimate nightmare when he trapped ten thousand people in that virtual universe and any attempt from the outside to remove the devices that kept them ‘shackled’ in this universe would kill them and if they died in the game, they would die here in real life turning something that should be a fun adventure game into a true ‘game of death’.”

In the audience, Lita says, drolly, “Tell us about it.”

Helena says, over the microphone, “Over the first month alone, two thousand people died in the worst possible ways and never saw their friends, family, and loved ones ever again. After two long years, only a little over six thousand people managed to survive this experience. While ze remained helpless to stop the madness of Kayaba, his prisoners and the efforts of our ‘virtual and cybercrimes unit’, the United Nations organization known as the Digimon Data Squad especially the Data Squad of here in Japan fought back to free the people in Kayaba’s ‘virtual prison’ and end this madness. It ze all of the information that we have and for now, ze believe that it is best that it is only thing known other that the fact that Kayaba is indeed dead.”

There are gasps and one person shouts out, “Serves that asshole right for what he did to our friends and family!”

There are plenty of shouts and screams in agreement and Helena says, “Data Squad and the police found his body at his home in which the details are still not known, but it is believed that he used his own personal NervGear to fry his own brain and commit suicide.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “That’s not exactly right. While Kayaba destroyed his own body, his mind is in cyberspace somewhere and searching for the real Aincard.”

Another person, a woman, yells out, “He’s a coward! He took the coward’s way out!”

A third person roars out, “Yeah! He knew that they were going to throw the book at him! He fled from his crimes instead of facing them like a man!”

A fourth person shouts out, “He should have been burned alive!”

A fifth person yells out, “They should take his corpse and throw it to the animals!”

There are plenty of yells and shouts out of agreement or ‘suggestions’ for ‘punishments’ that Kayaba should have been given and Keiko says, a bit nervously, “They are scary.”

Kazuto tells Keiko, “You can’t blame them Silica. Plenty of these people are the family and friends of the innocent people of those around four thousand that died.”

Andrew says, “And plenty of our fellow survivors would agree with these people too.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Yeah, you’re right, Agil.”

Helena calms the people down and she says, “For now, today’s event is to honor those good people that just wished to explore a new universe and died as well as celebrate the safe return of those that survived and who are trying to rebuild their lives after sending two years trapped in ‘another world’…” However, Helena stops as silver sparkles and a feather float down to the ground in front of them and then everyone starts to notice a legion of silver sparkles and feathers floating down all over the fair grounds.

Within the fairgrounds, our ninja group was part of the audience with Hinata, Ino, and Shikamaru having duel disks attached to their left wrists and Choji asks, “Uh, boy! Is this a Genjutsu?”

Ino says, “I’m not sensing a Genjutsu.”

Jiraiya says, “These are real feathers.”

In the audience, Suguha looks up and she says, seeing something and pointing up, “Up there!” Everyone then looks up to see a legion of feathers and sparkles in which none other than Sailor Moon, minus the upside down dark violet crescent moon sigil on her forehead, flies out of the clouds and flying just above the audience much to many people’s shock and surprise.

Tai asks, seeing this, “What the fuck?!”

A person in the audience booms out, “It’s Sailor Moon!” Sailor Moon looks down at the audience, gives a wink, and starts to perform some aerial acrobats over everyone.

“Royal Moon Tiara Boomerang!”

Sailor Moon takes off her crown, becomes a rainbow disc of energy, and she spins in the air causing rainbow colored sparkles to rain down on the ground before it goes back to her and she catches it.

With the other Sailor Scouts, Raye whispers, flabbergasted, “What is that Meatball Head doing?”

Amara responds, in a whisper and plain tone, “A very smart move for our princess, Raye.” Plenty of the other Scouts are confused at what Amara means, but Trista already understands what Amara is implying.

A female news reporter says, talking into the microphone with a camera pointed at her, “This is incredible folks! After over two years of her disappearance, the famous heroine of Juuban, Sailor Moon, has just appeared over the skies of the fairground and performing a beautiful and wonderful show!” Soon after, Sailor Moon gracefully lands on the ground by Helena in which she nearly has a ‘klutz attack’, but she managed to right her body before falling.

Sailor Moon looks at everyone and she asks, “Hey, what’s with the faces? Haven’t you seen a magical girl before?”

Helena says, “Well, this is an honest surprise! It seems like the famous Sailor Moon herself is here!”

Sailor Moon says, displaying an exact duplicate of Akiza’s first duel disk that has a dueling deck inside, “Can’t any girl join your tournament or you don’t accept superheroines?”

There are a multiple gasps and Helena says, a bit stunned, “I can’t see why not…”

Sailor Moon says, with a respectful bow, “Thank you, Helena-san.” Just then Sailor Moon is mobbed by a group of reporters of all types and plenty of cameramen and women are taking her picture and she yells out, “Hey! Hey! Easy everyone! Whoa there!”

With the Odiaba Digidestined, every one of them minus Kari, Ken, Yolei, and Cody, are in Data Squad uniforms and Davis says, “That Moon girl has some nerve.”

Cody says, “Sailor Moon is playing it smart.”

There are plenty of looks of surprise and Matt says, “Cody is right.”

Ken says, with a nod, “Sailor Moon is using her fame as a super-heroine to make sure that we can’t do anything with her. If Data Squad attempts anything, we will be seen as the bad guys and it isn’t going to be easy for the general public to swallow that she used a Full-Dive to steal a bit of data from us.”

Tai says, “Ken is exactly right.”

Sakura and Jun, both wearing female Data Squad uniforms, come up and Sakura says, with a snort, “All I say is that she has got some nerve to show herself in front of our faces.”

Jun says, “I know, sis, but she is a famous ‘protector of love and justice’ and relations between Digidestined and the Digital World and humanity in general aren’t in a good with the situation right now in the form of this ‘war’ going on.”

Renamon tells Sakura, “She’s right, Sakura. For now, we are going to have to put up with her.” Sakura gives an annoyed look, but she can’t help to feel ‘familiar’ with Sailor Moon in which imagines of the final battle with Kaguya come into her mind and Princess Serenity meeting with the same Sailor Scout that looks a lot like her with the sun sigil on her forehead come to mind.

With Sailor Moon, one of the reporters asks, “Miss Moon, where have you been for the past two years? The other Sailor Scouts have been spotted here and there when there were random monster attacks and assisting in situations like with the rogue Digidestined, but you haven’t been seen for over two years now. Why are you appearing to us now?”

Sailor Moon says, with a sigh, “It is kind of a long story, but the reason, which I only found out recently, is because… I have been in a coma for over two years.”

There are gasps and reporters are flashing her questions in which one of them asks, “A coma?”

Another one asks, “Does it have to do with that mysterious sphere that appeared in the sky that paralyzed people and the mysterious giant tree roots that gathered that put them into mysterious cocoons around the time that you vanished?”

Sailor Moon calms the mob of reporters down and she replies, with a solemn tone, “Actually, yes, it does. That was an enemy of the Sailor Scouts trying to enslave our planet.”

There are more gasps and another reporter asks, “So, you are confirming that you and the Sailor Scouts were involved with that incident over two years ago?”

Sailor Moon replies, with a nod, “Yes, I am. And that enemy was the reason that I was in the coma. In the final battle after the Sailor Scouts with a help with a powerful friend, whose identity that I’m keeping secret for so many reasons, driven this enemy off the planet, she had attempted to destroy the planet. My very good friend and I had to use all of our power to stop her and it was a near fatal experience for me.”

There are more gasps and another reporter asks, “Is that why you went into a coma?”
Sailor Moon replies, with a nod, “Yes, it was. My powers managed to keep me alive and I was put into a coma-like sleep for over two years. I just awoken several days ago and my body isn’t like the people who are in a coma and not use their bodies for years is because my powers managed to keep my body from suffering that kind of ‘degrading’, but I did age two years and I’m a legal adult today.”

Yet another reporter asks, “Shouldn’t you be resting then, Miss Moon? From what you told us, you just recovered from a life or death experience.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “I know, I should, but after I woke up, I read what’s happened while I was ‘asleep’ and I was horrified to learn what happened in my absence. The SAO incident and all these ‘rogue Digidestined’ causing trouble. I can’t just sit around and doing nothing! Duh! I’m a freaking super hero for crying out!” Sailor Moon says, reaching into her sub-space pocket, “Speaking of Digidestined…” Sailor Moon then displays her D-3 digivice and pulls out Lunamon and she says, “By the way, I also joined the ranks of the Digidestined. This is my Digimon partner, Lunamon.”

Lunamon says, with a bow, “Greetings everyone.”

There are more gasps and another reporter asks, “Incredible! Miss Moon, are you going to join the Data Squad?”

Sailor Moon replies, “No. And I hope that they can understand. I have just rejoined the world after spending over two years recovering in a secret location, thanks to my faithful friends, the rest of the Sailor Scouts, and I need time to get readjusted to the world. While I will be helping them because I’m Sailor Moon after all, I will not be joining Data Squad for any reasons right at this time.”

With the Odiaba Digidestined, Matt says, “And that’s checkmate.”

Cody says, “I’ve got to admit that she is good.”

Davis says, with a nod, “Got that right, Cody.”

Sailor Moon then tells the reporters, “To show my support to the survivors of SAO, I’m here to participate in the tournament.”

Helena says, with a smile, “If that’s the case, Miss Moon, then how about an exhibition match?”

Sailor Moon asks, “Really? Even though I am a heroine, I shouldn’t be treated any different from any other duelist. Are you sure, Miss Helena?”

Helena says, “I believe ze it would very encouraging to the people if you and another duelist here got this event started.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “Okay.”

Helena asks Sailor Moon, “How about you choose your opponent, Miss Moon?” Sailor Moon nods her head and looks over the crowd in which she points directly at Suguha.

Sailor Moon asks, “How about you?”

Suguha asks, surprised, “M-Me?!”

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “Yep! Come on, this will be fun!”

Suguha looks at Kazuto and she thinks, “Oh, wow! This is… incredible! I’ve always been a fan of Sailor Moon ever since she appeared! And I… I can show Kazuto…” Suguha says, with a smile, “Sure!” Before anyone could say or do anything, Suguha runs up to the stage with Sailor Moon and Helena.

Sailor Moon asks, “What’s your name?”

Suguha responds, “Suguha… Suguha Kirigaya, Sailor Moon-san.”

Sailor Moon responds, with a smile, “Nice to meet you, Suguha-san. Let’s enjoy ourselves okay?”

Suguha responds, “Okay!”

As Suguha and Sailor Moon prepare for their duel, Kazuto has his eyes narrowing and Rika asks, “What’s with that look?”

Kazuto says, “I think that she is here more for than to show us, SAO survivors, support.”

Asuna asks, “What do you mean Kirito-kun?”

Kazuto says, “I’m not sure, Asuna.” Suguha and Sailor Moon activate their duel disks, their disks shuffle their decks, their life-point counters give 4000 life-points to each duelist, and they draw five cards from their decks.

Helena announces through the microphone and she says, “And now, the exhibition match between Suguha Kirigaya-san and the famous Sailor Moon herself shall begin!”

“Duel!” Suguha and Sailor Moon yell in unison as their duel begins, but some distance away, what they don’t know is that members of the Black Spider clan are watching with binoculars in which they plan to contact the rest of their clan of the situation.

And that’s the end of this chapter, everyone! I know that there wasn’t even any mention of Naruto in this chapter, but it will change soon enough, folks. And you can say that Sailor Moon is quite to very OOC (out of character) in this story. Well, you have to remember that she has lost most to nearly all of her memories, the few memories that she has are mainly painful ones like losing the man that you love to an evil mad villainess, and one of the few ‘other memories’ that she is that Naruto is a precious friend that she needs to protect, so, I would think that she would ‘way out of base’ from what she usually is.
