Chapter 5

*Roar* My eyes flew open and I sat up. I turned to the window and looked out. Yulie was playing ball with White Blaze. Silver sat watching them. I heard a yawn behind me and  Dais put an arm around my waist.

“Why are you up so early?” he asked leaning his head on my shoulder and kissing my neck. “It’s 6:00am”

“How about some soccer,” I said as I turned to him.

“Huh,” he said. “This early in the morning.”

“Are you afraid I’ll beat you?” I teased.

“Humph,” he got up and changed. “I think I’ll win.”

I smiled and put on my light bodyguard, “Bring it on.” We walked outside to where Yulie was kicking the ball to White Blaze.

“Hey Yulie,” I called. “How about some soccer.”

“Yeah,” he said smiling and kicking the ball to me.

I ran up and kicked it towards Dais. It hit is chest, hard. He looked towards me and grinned. He kicked the ball back at me and I barely managed to jump out of the way. White Blaze came up and hit the ball sending it towards Yulie.

“Way to go, White Blaze,” Yulie said. Me and Dais took off after them. Yulie kicked the ball back to White Blaze who did a circle around Dais.

“Hey,” Dais cried as White Blaze hit his leg sending him backwards. I jumped kicked the ball away from White Blaze.

“Come on, Get up,” I said standing next to Dais then jumping over him and taking off with the ball.

“Grrr,” Dais growled as he got up and took off after me. I jumped in the air and kicked the ball towards Yulie. I turned to see Dais still coming towards me.

“Whoa, looks like you’ve got to find someone else to play with,” I said jumping into a tree and going tree to tree into the forest.

Dais was right behind me. I jumped into a meadow and took off running. Dais caught up and grabbed my arm. We went tumbling into the shadows of the meadow. I landed on top of him, pinning him down.

“Pinned ya, oh mighty Gen Masho,” I said smirking. He pushed me off and then tried to tackle me. We went tumbling again. “Pinned ya `gain.”

“Grrr,” he growled and I rolled off him and suddenly felt him come up right behind me.

I sprang up and did a flip and turned to face him. He was gone. I turned around again, nothing. Suddenly he came up behind and I was knocked down. He landed on top of me, pinning me down.

“What were you saying, mighty Hikari,” he said looking down at me.

“What are you going to do about,” I said as he looked down at me.

“I think I’ll do this,” he said as his lips touched mine. I put my arm around his neck and pulled him closer.

“I knew saying that would help,” I said against his lips.

****     ****

Back at the house everybody was waking up. Everyone went into the kitchen.

“Anybody seen Dais and Hikari?” Sekhmet asked.

“They were playing soccer with me,” Yulie said. “But then they took off into the forest.”

“I think I know what they’re up to,” Sekhmet said just as me and Dais walked in. He turned pale and looked at me.

“I heard that,” I said as me and Dais sat down on the couch. I leaned my head against Dais’s shoulder and began to watch T.V.

Everyone starred, I would usually shock him.

“Whoa did she just not do something,” Rowen whispered.

“Oh yeah,” Kento whispered. Sekhmet cautiously and slowly went by us and sat down.

“What are you being so cautious for,” I said without picking my head up from Dais’s shoulder. “I’m not going to shock you.”

Sekhmet blinked and looked at me, so did everybody else. Mia and Kayura smiled. I had changed since I arrived.

“Am I going crazy or did she just say something nice to Sekhmet,” Ryo said.

“She did,” Cye said. Everyone sat down and began to watch T.V. I looked and saw Silver laying down looking like she was bored.

“What’s wrong Silver?” I asked.

“I usually would be practicing right now,” she said. I smiled and looked at White Blaze.

“How about practicing with White Blaze,” I said.

“I’ll probably end up injuring him,” Silver said. White Blaze let out a snuff and a growled. “Fine, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Silver got up and followed White Blaze to the courtyard. I smiled and went back to watching T.V. I didn’t notice the Ronin were looking at me.

“You sure have changed since you arrived here,” Kento said.

“How so,” I said quietly looking at them. Ryo turned to answer me.

“You usually shock anybody who says anything about you and Dais,” he said. They all notice me and Dais didn’t turn red at all.

“I just don’t fill like it today,” I said shrugging my shoulders.

*Roar* Everyone looked towards the door to see Silver coming in, covered completely in dirt. She stood next to the door looking surprised.

“I didn’t expect him to be that strong,” she said. White Blaze came in next with a cat smirk. “I wonder if the Ronins are the same way.”

“Don’t underestimate these guys,” I said. “They may be just a bunch of teenagers, but they didn’t beat Talpa for nothing.” The Ronins looked at me with a surprised look.

“How do you know about Talpa?” Ryo asked amazed.

“In the world I come from,” I said quietly. “Your all considered just a T.V show.”

“Huh,” Kento said. “Were just a T.V show in you world.” I nodded then turned to the Sailor Scouts.

“You are also considered just a T.V show in our world,” I said quietly.

“Whoa, us too,” Lita said surprised. I nodded then Mina got up and left the room. She came back a few minutes later with a bag.

“This was next to you when we found you unconscious near the lake,” she said.

I blinked, they never told me how I got here. I took the bag from her and opened it. I pulled out a small Ryo figure.

“These are the Action Figures they made of you,” I said pulling them out. I then handed everyone theirs.

“These are cool,” Yuli said. “They even have White Blaze and Black Blaze.” He held up the figures.

I then pulled out one of the tapes. It was a Sailor Moon one.

“This is Black Dream Hole,” I said to Lita and the others. “It shows your fight with Queen Badiyana.”

I handed the tape to the Sailor Scouts. I looked around.

“By the way, where’s Darien and Rini?” I asked.

“Darien had to go to a job meeting, he’ll be back in a few days,” Serena said. “Rini’s gone back to the future.”

“That’s a shame,” I said pulling out a Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Mask figure. “I have theirs too.”

“I’m more handsome then that,” Sekhmet said looking at his. The Ronins snorted, causing Sekhmet to glare at them.

“Hey,” Yuli said. “What’s that?” He pointed to a tape I had set down. I looked at it then handed it to him.

“Cool it’s a character profile,” he said running to the VCR. “It has all of us on it.”

Suddenly I got a weird feeling from the tape.

“Yuli don’t put it in,” I said quickly getting up and reaching to grab it from him.

Before I could stop him, he pushed play and the tape came on.

A picture of each Ronin and Warlord appeared and then a battle. Yuli gasped. The tape was showing a battle that was showing things far worse then any battle Yuli had ever seen. It then showed him and White Blaze at the edge of the battle, the entire battlefield was covered in blood and gore. A blast of light came out of the T.V. and headed for him. I jumped past Yuli and hit the stop button with a fist, causing the tape to come out and drop to the floor. The light disappeared.

The tape began to glow, then it disappear. The case was the only thing that remained. I bent down and picked up the case. I suddenly felt  cold shiver go down my spine, dropping the case I backed up against the wall.

“Hikari?” Dais said with worry in his voice. I aimed my hand at the case and it burst into flames, then ash, and then disappeared.

“That wasn’t one of my tapes,” I said. “That was…”

Before I could finish cold laugh came from outside. We all ran outside to see a soldier standing in the open.

“What do you want,” I growled.

“Haha, you’re a smart girl to figure out that it was Master Saran’s own special tape,” the soldier said laughing. “If you had not stop it you all would be under my Master’s control.”

“Leave here at once,” I said walking towards the soldier.

“I’ve been ordered not to leave unless I have you,” the soldier said.

“Then you better just go face punishment, because I’m not going anywhere,” I said.

The soldier then pulled out a kurisa-gama.

“Are you trying to scare me,” I said crossing my arms.

“No, your going to fight,” the soldier said.

“Fine by me,” I said as I walked closer and stood facing the soldier. “Illusionist Planet Power” I transformed and stood ready. I heard the others behind start to power up.

‘This guy’s mine,” I jumping to the side, dodging a hit to my arm.

The soldier sent his kurisa-gama towards me and just before it reached me, I used my favorite attack.

“Silver Dream Attack,” I cried. This time a beautiful unicorn appeared and caused the chains to fall to the ground.

“Not bad, but too slow,” the soldier said.

Before I could even blink he was behind me and slammed the hilt of the sword he had been carrying into my back sending me into the ground. I rolled over just in time to get out of the way of the beam he shot at me. I was starting to get annoyed and lose my patience. The soldier stood a few feet away.

“Not bad,” I growled standing up. “But don’t underestimate me, Wings of the Illusionist.”

My wings grew strait and the feathers shot at the soldier.

“Arrgh,” the soldier cried as the feathers pierced his armor.

He then sent his kurisa-gama at me just as I was landing back on the ground. I looked up at saw it coming right at me. There was no time to stop it. My eyes went wide with fear. I quickly brought my wings in front of me. The kurisa-gama went into my wing and then sent me flying into the trees behind me.

“HIKARI!” Dais shouted as the smoke started to clear, fear filling him.

When the smoke cleared I was lying over a broken tree and blood was dropping from my wings. There was also blood dropping from my arm. Dais gasped when he saw me.

“Uhh,” I groaned as I opened my eyes. Dais and the others ran to where I was lying, but were stopped when a dome of darkness surrounded them. They couldn’t see anything on the battle field.

“Armor of Illusion,” Dais shouted but his armor didn’t appear.

“Don’t bother calling on your armor,” the soldier said. “Inside that dome you can’t use or call your armor and it helps to keep you out of the battle.”

“Grrr,” Dais growled as he looked around to see if there was anyway to get out and help me.

Suddenly the dome’s wall turned clear and they could see what was going on. They saw me pushing off the ground and standing slowly up. I looked over and saw them in the dome. Dais banged his fist on the dome but was sent backwards.

“Dais!” I shouted. The others helped him up.

“Damn it,” Kento said as he was sent backwards as well for trying to knock the dome down.

“Let them go!” I yelled at the soldier. The soldier just grinned. He waved his hand at the dome and everyone in it was shocked with black energy. I watched as Dais fell to his knees in pain. The others were holding their chest as they fell to their knees. “You bastard!” I screamed as angry tears filled my eyes.

“What are you going to do,” the soldier said. “Your already to weak to fight me anymore.”

“I’ll make you pay,” I said clenching my fist and my hair began to blow madly behind me, tears flowing down my cheeks. My blue eyes began to glow. The twelve spirit stones appeared along my spine. They were glowing brightly. I moved my hands in circle and aimed them at the soldier. My spirit energy began to grow stronger. Light began to come from the trees and the earth around me. “SPIRIT BLAST!” I shouted.

A bright beam shot out of my hands and hit the soldier. The soldier cried out, then turned to dust and disappeared. The dome around Dais and the others was still there.

“I can take care of the dome,” Silver said.

I just nodded, I was too weak to use anymore power. That spirit blast drained me completely. Silver looked towards the dome and then started running towards it.

“Star Tiger Claw,” Silver growled as her claws sliced through the walls of the dome.

The dome disappeared. I smiled, my sailor suit disappeared and was replaced with my regular light body guard. The last thing I remembered before passing out was Dais catching me before I hit the ground.

****    ****

I winced as I felt my arm sting. I slowly opened my eyes to see Hotaru and Amy next to me. I noticed that I was on the couch. Amy noticed that I was awake.

“Welcome back,” she said.

“Hey girl, you rally scared us back there,” Kento said from behind Amy. I saw Dais standing behind me.

“Feeling better?” Mina asked.

“Yeah, but I have a major headache and I’m a little weak,” I said sitting up and putting my hand on the side of my head.

“I’ll bet,” Lita said. “You were really slammed through those trees hard and head first.”

“Plus I can’t use my sailor form no more,” I said while the scouts looked at me. “At least not until my wings can be used again. They weren’t completely healed from last time.” Amy looked at my arm then put down the first aid kit.

“Try, moving your arm,” she said. I moved my arm then winced as a sharp pain went up it. “Well it’s not broken, but I think the chain went really deep.”

I looked at my arm, then tried to move it again, this time ignoring the pain.

“I hope my healing powers still work,” I said as I began to concentrate on the wound.

It began to glow, it started to close until it was a small gash which would heal on it’s own. My spirit stones were still along my spine. I reached around and could feel the stones through the body guard suit.

“The stones will be there for awhile,” Silver said appearing. “They need to finish drawing  energy from the forest surroundings.”

“You should rest so you can get your energy back,” Hotaru said. “I know you still need time to heal.”

I looked at her, I knew that Hotaru goes through the  same thing when she exhausts her healing powers. But I didn’t feel like resting, I felt like going outside and watching the full moon.

“If you want to watch the full moon then get on and I’ll take you to the roof,” Silver said coming along side of me. “After all I know you don’t like the complete darkness, being as your name means `Light`”. I smiled

“Thanks Silver,” I said sliding onto her back. White Blaze let out a purr.

“You can come too if you want,” Silver said as she jumped through the balcony door and then jumped onto the roof.

White Blaze nudged Dais’s side. Dais looked down at him.

“I think he’s telling you to come with them,” Ryo said.

“Go on,” Kento said.

He and Ryo bursted out snickering. White Blaze growled at them. They blinked and stopped snickering. White Blaze then turned an walked out onto the balcony. Dais followed and they jumped onto the roof.

“Aww,” Rowen said starting to crack up. Sekhmet just smiled.

“Hey, aren’t you going to say a smart remark?” Ryo asked him.

“Nope,” Sekhmet replied going outside while the others just stared. The Ronins were speechless.

“It seems Sekhmet isn’t going to make any witty insults from now on,” Kayura said.

“It seems that way,” Cale said. Anubis and Mia smiled.

“I think we should keep an eye out tonight,” Sage said.

“Yes, another soldier might show up,” Cye said.

****     ****

Meanwhile on the roof Dais and White Blaze walk towards Silvra and I.

“Mind if we join you,” Dais said sitting down next to me.

“No,” I said as he put an arm around my shoulder then kissed me on the forehead.

I smiled then looked to where White Blaze sat next to Silvra. Silvra cat grinned then laid her head on White Blaze’s shoulder. I smiled and looked at the sky. The stars were shinning brightly. I decided I wanted to sing a song. A song began to start on the wind. Dais held me close as I began to sing.

When I think of what I've been through
I can see that you've always been there for me
To tell the truth I don't know what I'd do
without you, None of my dreams would have come true.

You are the one that I have called for.
Now my life means so much more
Now we can be together forever
Forever just you and me
Me here for you, you here for me.

It was you who showed me I got a friend in you
I always knew that you'd be right here for me
And It was you who stuck with me when the skies where blue
And it was you who stayed by my side, it was you!

Since the day you came into my life
I knew then that you'd be someone right by my side
Then you proved you're a friend to me
In my heart, forever you will always be

You are the one that I had hoped for
Now my life means so much more
Now we can be together forever
Just you and me
there for each other

It was you who showed me I got a friend in you
I always knew that you'd be right here for me
And It was you who stuck with me when the skies where blue
And it was you who stayed by my side, it was you!

Since the day you came into my life
I knew then that you'd be someone right by my side
Then you proved you're a friend to me
In my heart, forever you will always be

You are the one that I had hoped for
Now my life means so much more
Now we can be together forever
Just you and me
there for each other

It was you who showed me I got a friend in you
I always knew that you'd be right here for me
And It was you who stuck with me when the skies where blue
And it was you who stayed by my side, it was you!

It was you who was always by my side
And I just can't do it, you helped me through it
We're friends forever like best friends should be
You'll always be a special part of me!

It was you!

It was you who showed me I got a friend in you
I always knew that you'd be right here for me
And It was you who stuck with me when the skies where blue
And it was you who stayed by my side, it was you!

I always knew that you'd be right here for me
And It was you who stuck with me when the skies where blue
And it was you who stayed by my side, it was you!

You are a friend to me, It was you.

“That was beautiful,” Dais said. I smiled and leaned against his chest.

“Well, I guess I was wrong about White Blaze,” Silvra said sitting on the to my left. White Blaze sat on Dais’s right. I smiled and leaned my head on Dais’s shoulder.

The four of us watched the as moon began to rise a little more and the stars sparkled. I closed my eyes as I fell asleep against Dais’s shoulder.

Chapter 6

I stood next to a small Cliffside lake.

“This feels like home,” I said.

A stronger surge of energy came from behind the falls. I walked towards it hesitating only a moment I stepped through the falls. I had stepped right into a hidden cave. There was statues of a silver tiger and a silver falcon on either side of an alter. Suddenly everything went black as a sharp pain ran through me.

****     ****

I opened my eyes slowly. Dais slept silently next to me. I felt something wet fall down my cheek. I lifted my hand and wiped away the tears from my eyes. I could feel the pain still. Sitting up and slipping out of Dais’s arms I carefully got up and pulled my light body guard on. I opened the door slowly and closed it softly behind me. Careful as not to wake the others up I went down the stairs towards the front door. I had to go as quietly as possible pass the couch where Sekhmet slept.

Once outside I headed to the courtyard. Walking towards the middle I closed my eyes and concentrated on listening to my surroundings. The wind blew softly like it was singing an ancient song that had been long forgotten. The trees swayed softly in the breeze. I opened my eyes and got into the fighting stance Master Tai had taught me. I began to do each fighting move slowly like I had done it all my life and graceful movements from beyond my years.

“You are very talented,” A voice said. I turned and saw Silver walking towards me. “Just like your mother.”

“I’m not talented,” I said. “I just follow what I’ve been taught.”

“Even so,” she said. “Your just like your mother.”

I turned and started to stare into space. I began to think about home. I shook my head to get the thoughts out of my mind. I had to stop thinking about that place, I belonged here.

“Hikari?” a voice cut into my thoughts. Turning around I saw Sage standing near the entrance of the courtyard.

“Oh, Sage, is there something I can help you with?” I asked.

“Why are you up so early?” he asked. “It’s 6:00.”

“Just practicing,” I said going back to practicing.

I  went to practice the turn and jump kick when a sharp pain ran through my chest causing me to clutch my side and drop to my knees.

“Hikari?!” Sage cried as he ran over to me. I began to breath hard.

“Your still not healed completely,” Silver said as she walked over to me.

“Let’s get you back inside,” Sage said.

“I’m fine…” I growled starting to stand up but falling back to my knees. “Uhhh…”

“Put her on my back,” Silver ordered. Sage nodded and lifted me onto her back. They took me back into the house. As they walked in Sage went over to the couch where Sekhmet was sleeping.

“Sekhmet, Wake up,” Sage said hitting Sekhmet’s shoulder.

“Halo what are…” Sekhmet started to growl as he sat up, but stopped when he saw me on Silver’s back.

“Wake the others,” Sage said as he lifted me onto the couch.

“Alright,” Sekhmet said as he went quickly up the stairs. I slipped into unconsciousness when Sage used his powers to put me to sleep so I wouldn’t move.

****     ****

Upstairs Sekhmet decided to wake Cale and Anubis first so he’ll have someone helping to keep Dais under control. He stopped outside of the room Cale and Kayura used.

*Knock Knock*

Cale opened the door.

“What is it, it’s 6:15 in the morning,” Cale growled dangerously.

“Hikari’s collapsed,” Sekhmet said.

“What!” Cale said along with Kayura’s voice.

“I wanted to wake you and Anubis up first so we can control Dais,” Sekhmet said.

After they woke Anubis and Mia they went to wake up Dais.

Sekhmet opened the door and walked over to his friend.

“Dais,” Sekhmet said. Dais opened his eye and looked at his friend. “hurry up, get dress, and come downstairs.”

Sekhmet went out and closed the door behind him.

A few minutes later Dais opened the door and came out.

“What’s going on,” he said.

“Hikari has collapsed, Sekhmet replied, ready to hold down his friend.

“What!” Dais ran past before they could stop him.

****     ****

Sage looked up at the stairs from where he and the other Ronins and Scouts stood next to me when the heard a loud noise and saw Dais coming down the stairs.

“Whoa, easy there,” Kento said grabbing Dais before he could run over the glass orb of healing potion that sat on the floor.

“What happened?!” Dais said a little louder than normal.

“She collapsed while I was talking to her,” Sage said. “I caught her training.”

“What?!” Dais said looking at me.

“She was training when her body has not fully healed,” Silver said.

“I didn’t even hear her walk past me,” Sekhmet said.

“You wouldn’t have,” Silver said. “She made sure nobody sensed her leaving the house. I saw her from the roof sneaking to the courtyard.”

“Why would she try to train when she is not fully healed?” Kento asked confused, “it doesn’t make sense.”

“I believe something was bothering her,” Silver said. “I’m not just connected to the armor, but also to her.”

“So you can feel when she is in pain,” Yuli said.

“Yes, but not just pain, I can sense all her emotions,” she said. “From what I sensed she had a dream which troubled her and she believed practicing was the only way to forget it.”

“Mmm,” I started to shift as I opened my eyes.

The pain was gone. But I still felt weak. I put my hand to my head because it was pounding. I noticed everyone was around me, but from the corner of my eye I saw Dais standing near me. I could tell he was a little angry.

“Hey, What was the dream you had that stressed you out?” Kento asked out of nowhere. Startled I looked at him, wondering how he knew.

“What was it?” Cye asked. I bit my lip, I didn’t want to talk about.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” I said as I looked at the floor.

“Why not?” Kento asked.

“Look, I said I didn’t want to talk about it,” I said looking at him. My tone of voice growing louder and my eyes losing their soft look.

“Easy, Okay,” Kento said backing up.

“Kento, drop it,” Ryo said.

“Hikari, their just trying to help,” Silver said.

“I don’t need their help,” I said sounding close to a whisper. The others looked at each other, concern and understanding on all their faces. Dais walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and caught his stare. I felt my anger drain.

“You may not need it, but you have it,” he said. I looked back down at the floor.

“You don’t have to talk about it now if you don’t feel like,” Mia said. I looked up at her with relief in my eyes.

“Thanks,” I said quietly. She smiled and turned to the Ronins.

“Why don’t you guys give her a break,” she said.

“Come on guys,” Ryo said as the other Ronins followed him outside. The Scouts decided to go with the Ronins. The Warlords stayed behind.

“Why don’t you get some rest,” Dais said.

“I’ll be fine,” I muttered.

“Hikari, you need rest or you won’t even be able to fight a dynasty soldier,” Silver said. “Don’t make any smart remarks or say that your okay, because your not.” I glared at her. I was used to taking care of myself, but I did feel a little weak and too tired to remark so I just sighed in defeat. Silver smiled and walked over to me.

“I may still be tired and a little weak, but I can still walk,” I said standing up, but I felt a wave of dizziness. I tightened my eyes shut to get rid of the dizziness I felt.

Dais steadied me and led me back up to our room. Silver shook her head.

“She is just as stubborn as her mother,” she said. “Her mother was kind and gentle, but Hikari is…different.”

“Well, the way Hikari talked about her family made us think they didn’t get along,” Cale said.

“She said that her father remarried her step mom and her and her step mom never got along,” Kayura pointed. “Apparently she never knew her real mother because her real mother died when she was only 5 or 6. And for someone that young, it can be really hard.”

“That might be one reason why she acts likes she’s strong and has no one but her self,” Mia said.

“Maybe, but even though she hides it, I think she wants to see her home again,” Silver said.

****       ****

Meanwhile upstairs Dais and I were talking, and I was telling him things I never told anyone before. I couldn’t believe I was admitting things I never wanted anyone to know.

“Hikari why do you act like you don’t need anyone’s help,” Dais asked as he put his arms around me.

“It’s because being alone is all I’ve ever known,” I whispered quietly leaning against him. “I’ve always took care of my self.”

“Why is that?” he asked quietly.

“My father was always working and after he got remarried to my step mom, I didn’t see him anymore,” I said sighing, believing it was better to tell him the truth. “My step mom always went out with friends and to malls leaving me home alone. It was like that since I was six, so I’ve always been alone.”

“What about your friends?” he asked.

“My step mom always told them to leave and yelled at them and we’d get in another fight,” I said. “That was happened the day I came here. My Master Tai had over and my friend Crystal and then Kayla told them to leave and we got into a fight.” My voice was growing even lower and Dais tightened his arms around me.

“I remember going to my room, crying myself to sleep and being woken up suddenly by my room glowing,” I shifted my head so that I was leaning against Dais’s chest. “That was when the Ancient and transformation stick, orb, and stones appeared.”

“You may have been alone then, but your not alone now,” Dais said turning me so that I was looking up at him.

“Thank you,” I whispered as a tear dropped down my cheek. His hand came up and wiped it away. He bent towards me and I closed my eyes and leaned up. I felt his lips brush mine. He tightened his arms around me. I parted my lips allowing him to enter and met his tongue with mine. After a minute we broke apart, I leaned my head back on his chest. He laid back still keeping his arms around me.

****      ****

Later that day, around noon Dais and I came back downstairs.

“You look better now, Hikari,” Cye said. I grinned because I felt a lot better. I looked around.

“Where’s Kento?” I asked.

“Hey girl,” Kento said walking into the living room. “Feeling better?”

“Perfectly, I seem to remember you bugging me when I didn’t fell like talking about my dream,” I said. “But you kept it up.”

“I think I’ll…,” he started to go backwards out the door.

“Armor of the Galaxies,” I shouted as my armor appeared. I took off after Kento.

“Help!” Kento cried. “Come on Guys!”

“Umm…I don’t think so,” Sekhmet said.

“Galaxy…Shock…” I cried bringing my sword down.

“Ahh…” Kento cried as he was shocked by a lighting bolt.

“She’s…back…” Ryo, Rowen, and Sage said together.

“Anybody else ready for a shock,” I said. “There’s plenty left.” I was grinning like a cat.

“She’s back to normal,” Mia said.

“I don’t know if we should be happy or scared,” Rowen said, the warlords laughed.

I was still in my armor when I walked over to the others. I reached up and took my helmet off. My hair was in a ponytail with a jeweled hair tie. I had a jewel in the middle of my forehead.

“That’s strange,” Cye said. “You have a jewel embedded in the middle of your forehead.”

“That’s because her mother had a jewel embedded in her forehead that was always there,” Silver said. “For Hikari, it disappears when the armor disappears.”

“Hmm,” I looked over to where Kento was still trying to get rid of the shock I had given him. I smiled I felt much netter now and ready to kick butt.

I looked over to where Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru stood silently. Then I looked over at Serena, Mina, Lita, Amy, and Rei stood. They looked older then they did in the T.V. shows. The Ronins did too. The Warlords were probably the ones who changed the most. During the show they had egos as big as a house as Mia had once said. Smiling I turned back towards Mia, Anubis, Sekhmet, Cale, Kayura, and Dais.

“You look happy,” Sekhmet said looking at me.

“I feel happy,” I said smiling even more. I placed my helmet down on the stairs and sat down next to it.

“Hikari, why are you still in your armor,” Kento asked from where he stood next to Cye and Ryo.

“I guess It’s because I just feel better in my armor,” I said shrugging.

“Sounds like others we know,” Rowen said looking at the Warlords.

“He watch it,” Sekhmet growled.

“Well it’s true, you guys are almost always in your sub-armor,” Rowen said. “Besides snakehead, you guys act like their could be a battle any second.”

“Yeah,” Cye said.

Sekhmet jumped at Rowen and Cye as they barely managed to get out of the way. Soon they were fighting and the other Ronins were cheering them on. Eventually all the Ronins were in the fight.

“Guys!” Mia cried.

“Haha,” I started laughing at them which caused them to stop.

“Hey, your laughing,” Cye said. I had to put my hand over my mouth to keep the giggling down.

“Is there something saying I can’t,” I said trying to keep from giggling more.

“No, you just never laughed before,” Cye said.

“Yeah, we’ve never heard you laugh before,” Kento said.

I didn’t say anything, I didn’t know what to say to that. I started to get up when…

“White Blaze!” Yuli cried. Before I knew what was happening something hit me in the back, knocking me off the stairs and slamming me onto the ground.

“Damn,” I said wincing against the pain that went through my side. Dais grabbed my arm and pulled me up. “I’m glad I still had my armor on.”

“White Blaze what were you thinking,” Ryo said to White Blaze who now stood where I had been.

Yuli came running out. He stopped next to White Blaze.

“White Blaze and I had been playing when he suddenly took off,” he said.

“Something is wrong, do you not sense it,” Silver said.

I closed my eyes and concentrated. I could fell dark energy nearby.

“Hikari?” Dais said.

I walked over to White Blaze with my eyes still closed. I gently put a hand under White Blaze’s neck and felt something hard and smooth. Grabbing hold of it I pulled as hard as I could. I pulled a gem from his neck, it turned to dust in my hand. White Blaze shook his head and then rubbed against me purring.

“What was that?” Sage asked.

“A gem of possessiveness,” Silver said. “A gem that can possess a person or thing to do the bidding of the one who used it.”

“You mean White Blaze was possessed,” Cye said.

“In a way, yes,” she answered. “The spell probably wasn’t that strong and therefore White Blaze didn’t do much damage.”

I turned pale, “Saran planted it.” I looked at White Blaze.

“He’ll do anything to capture you,” Silver said.

A flash of light filled the area. The Ancient appeared.

“Ancient,” I said. The Ancient nodded with a smile.

“Hikari, I believe it is time you learn something I didn’t tell you before,” he said.

“Ancient, do you believe that is wise?” Silver asked.

“Silver, Hikari deserves to know the truth,” the Ancient said.

“As you wish,” she said her head dropping. She walked over to me and sat down. “You might want to sit down Hikari.”

“What I told you before is true,” he said. “But Jasmine didn’t die when she used the last of her power she became a normal human.”

I looked at the ancient, “Then how did she die.”

“She and the passed Ronins and Warlords were… killed,” the Ancient said.

I dropped my helmet which I had picked up. I had a scared look in my eyes. Dais put a hand on my shoulder and pulled me slowly down with him.

“How…did…” I couldn’t finish my sentence.

“Saran was born around the same time as the Warlords,” the Ancient said. “After Jasmine had used all the power she had to send you to another world, Saran’s father took that event as an advantage and attacked. He killed the past Ronins and Warlords and…Jasmine. Silver is the only survivor of that attack.”

I looked at Silver, “You knew, but never told me.”

“I thought you’d be better off not knowing,” she said, her head bowed. “I didn’t want you to go rushing into battle with Saran and get yourself killed like…your mother.”

“You should have told me,” I said my tone growing louder and tears falling down from my eyes.

“I didn’t wasn’t to loose you too…” Silver cried. I pulled myself from Dais’s arms and raced into the forest.

“Hikari!” Dais yelled about to follow me. The Ancient placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Let her be,” the Ancient said. Dais looked at him. “She needs to have some time alone.”

“We should never have told her,” Silver said. “Now she’ll run blind right into battle.”

“I thought the Ronins would underestimate her, but never you,” the Ancient said. “You surprise me Silver.”

“It’s because I don’t want the same thing that happened to her mother to happen to her,” Silver cried. “I promised Jasmine that I would protect her.”

“And you shall,” the Ancient said. “But if she didn’t know do you think she would have fought with all her courage and strength.”

“Yes, because she won’t let anything happen to her friends,” Silver said.

The Ancient shook his head.

“Hikari would have gave her life up to protect them,” he said. “And we can’t let her fall into the dynasty’s hands.”

The others had listened to the battle between the Ancient and Silver. The Ancient turned to them.

“Senshi, Ronins, Warlords, I ask you to protect Hikari from the dynasty,” he said.

Dais stepped forward with a stern look on his face.

“Ancient, I would protect Hikari with my life,” he said.

“I know you will,” the Ancient said smiling.

“We will also protect her,” Ryo said as the others nodded their heads in agreement.

****     ****

I sat crying next to lake I had been next to when I was attacked by Saran. Tears flowed from my eyes, I slammed my fist into the ground. Since I was still wearing my armor it created a small crater.

“Damn,” I thought. “Why couldn’t Silver have told me before?”

I laid my head on one of the boulders and touched the water with my finger tips. Dais’s face appeared in the water. My spirit stones had created a picture of him in the water. I sighed and his words repeated them selves in my mind. `You may have been alone then, but your not alone now`. I smiled, suddenly a hand touched my shoulder. I spun around grabbing the wrist of the person and slamming them against a tree.

“Dais?!” I gasped as I let go of him.

“Man, that hurt,” he said rubbing his wrist.

“Sorry,” I said dropping my eyes to the ground.

His hand came up to my cheek and caressed it, wiping the tears that were still there away.

“You’ve been crying,” he put an arm around my waist and pulled me against him. I leaned my head against his chest and closed my eyes. A few minutes later he tilted my head towards him.

“Feel better?” he asked. I nodded.

“I love you, Dais,” I said looking into his eyes.

“I love you too,” he said leaning towards me. “I would give my life up for you.”

“I would do the same for you,” I whispered kissing him.

****       ****

“I hope they’re okay,” Cye said.

“I’m sure they’re fine,” the Ancient said smiling.

“There they are,” Yuli said pointing towards the forest. Dais and I were walking towards them.

“Hikari…” Silver said walking towards me. “I’m sorry…” I smiled and then dropped to my knees, putting my arms around her neck in a hug.

“I understand,” I said against her neck. She began to purr as she rubbed her head against me. I began to scratch behind her ears. The others smiled as they watched me and Silver.

“I’ll tell you about my dream,” I said standing up. I sat down and told them everything, about the waterfall and cave behind it. I told them about the alter and the stone tiger and falcon on either side of it. After I told them about the statues I told them about the sharp pain I felt and that when I woke up I still felt it.
“That was why I went to train,” I said.

“Hmm…a silver tiger and a silver falcon,” the Ancient said.

“The tiger looked exactly like you,” I told Silver. “The falcon I don’t know about.” Silver gasped.

“Ancient could it be…” Silver started.

“It could,” the Ancient said.

“What could it be?” I asked.

“Hikari, your mother had a friend that could go in between this world and the world you came from,” Silver said. “She disappeared a few days before Jasmine was attacked.”

“She too, had a daughter,” the Ancient said. “And an armor that would go to her.”

“Who is her daughter?” I asked.

“We don’t know what Sarah called her daughter,” Silver said. “But we do know the armor that would be passed on to her would be the Armor of the Falcon and she would be able to become Sailor Hope.”

“That falcon’s name is Silver,” the Ancient said.  “The girl was supposed to, when you got your armor fight along side of you.”

“Could that cave I saw in my dream behind the waterfall be…” I started to myself.

“Hikari?” Dais said sitting next to me.

“Mina how did I get here?” I asked.

“We found you near a lake on the side of a cliff not too far from here,” she said.

“In my world there was a lake in the side of a cliff too,” I said. “It was the same one in my dream.”

“The place we found you could be the same place in your dream,” Rowen said.

“That alter in-between the statues is the way to get to the world I came from,” I said. “It leads to the other world.”

The Ancient looked quiet then said, “If that is so, then the girl who is the Warrior of the Falcon and Sailor Hope is in your world.”

“That’s not my world anymore,” I said. “I belong in this world.”

“You know Ancient, she is right about that,” Silver said.

“Ancient if there is a way to…my world…then why did I feel those sharp pains?” I asked.

“Something could have happened in that world,” he said. “You probably feel that world’s pain.”

“If that world is in danger…” I started. “Then…” my face turned pale and my whole body began to shake. “No…Crystal…Master Tai…. They’re in trouble, I’ve got to go back,” I cried. “I’ve got to help them.”

“Hikari calm down!” Dais said grabbing my shoulders and trying to calm me down. “We’ll help, but you have to calm down.”

“He’s right,” Silver said. “If you don’t calm don, if you remain like this you won’t be able to control your armor.” I started to calm down as Dais leaned me against him.

“Not all of you will be able to go,” the Ancient said. “If this is the Ancient Transport Alter between the worlds then only some of you can go. It won‘t have enough power to transport all of you.”

“But which group is going with Hikari?” Cye asked.

“I’m going,” Dais said from next to me. I looked at him and the look in his eyes repeating his promised. I squeezed his wrist lightly.

“Sekhmet, Anubis, Cale, Mia, Kayura and Sage will go,” the Ancient said. “The rest will remain here. It‘s better for the Warlords to be the one’s because it takes Warlord energy to control the portal.”

“Alright, let’s get some rest and head to the cave In the morning,” Kayura said.

“What about food,” Kento said. “Those who are hungry can eat and those going get some rest if your not hungry.”

“Sure,” Kayura said as me and those who were going headed up to bed.

Note: The Armor of The Falcon is also my own creation, as well as the silver falcon. Sailor Hope however I will not take credit for because Sailor Hope was created by my friend animegirl (freeopendiary.com) or a.k.a bakurafan88 (Mediaminer.org) who has giving me permission to use Sailor Hope.

Chapter 7

I slowly opened my eyes. Slowly I looked out the window. It was just turning light. A cold shiver went up my spine. I wrapped my arms around myself. Something wasn’t right. I knew it, something somewhere was wrong, very wrong. As I began to think about what could be causing me to feel like this I remembered what the Ancient had said about me being able to feel the pain of my world.

“My world is in pain,” I thought. “Something bad is happening to my world.”

I began to shiver as I felt the pain of my world.

“Hikari?” Dais wrapped his arms around me pulling me against him. “What’s wrong?”

“I…can fell the pain of my world,” I said still shaking. “Something is happening to it.”

“Everything will be okay,” he said.

“I hope your right,” I whispered laying against his chest.

“Let’s get you something to eat,” he said.

“Alright,” I said getting up. I pulled on a pair of black leather jeans and a white tank that Kayura had given to me.

****     ****

“Good morning,” Mia said as Dais and I walked in.

“Morning,” I said sitting down. I placed my head on my arms.

Mia put a plate in front of me.

“Thanks, but I’m not hungry,” I said.

“You have to eat something to keep your strength up,” Silver said walking in.

“I’ve lost my appetite,” I said.

“Because you have felt your world’s pain and know something is wrong,” she said.

I looked at her.

“I have felt it as well,” she said.

“Then something is wrong,” I said.

“We won’t know until we reach that world,” Silver said. “Now eat so you can get your strength up.

I sighed as I took a fork and started eating.

“We leave at 7:00,” Kayura said. “That’s in an hour.”

“When we get to this world,” Sage said. “Where are we supposed to stay.”

“My house,” I said.

“What about your step mom,” he said.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure she won’t object with a little convincing,” I said.

“Hikari,” Dais said sternly. “Your not thinking about using your armor to get her to agree are you?”

I looked at him innocently, “What gave you that idea?”

Dais raised an eyebrow.

“Fine,” I said. “I’ll just ask.”

The others laughed.

****      ****

It was finally 7:00 as we headed outside. The other Ronins were still sleeping. Quickly we went down a path through the forest. The forest felt just like the one in my world.

“Hey, Hikari,” I slowed down as I turned to Sage who like the others were having a little trouble scaling the hills that we had to cross.

“What is it?” I asked.

“How do you know were headed the right way?” Sage asked.

I looked around at our surroundings.

“I guess it’s just because this forest feels exactly like the one in my world,” I answered.

I hadn’t noticed that Dais had come up beside me until he squeezed my shoulders. I looked at him as he smiled. I smiled and turned back to the paths. I saw the one that lead to the lake beside the cliff.

“This way,” I said racing down the path with the others right behind me.

After a mile the lake beside the cliff came into view.

“That’s it,” I said.

“But where’s the cave?” Sage asked.

They turned back to me and saw that I had walked through the shallow part of the water up to the waterfall.

“The cave is right behind here,” I said. I heard a roar and turned to see Silver racing through the forest towards.

“Your not leaving without me,” Silver growled.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to come,” I said. “People with freak out once they see you, and your color isn’t exactly normal for a tiger.”

“I am going with you,” Silver said more sternly. “I have an obligation to protect you and the other former Warlords.”

I sighed, shaking my head.

“Oh well, no point in arguing when the odds are stacked against me,” I thought.

I held my breath and stepped through the falls. The water was freezing. I felt my feet touch stone.

“Whoa,” I heard Sekhmet’s surprised voice say.

I opened my eyes and saw exactly what had been in my dream. The alter in the back with, on either side, a stone tiger and a stone falcon. We walked up to the alter.

“How exactly does this thing work?” Sage asked.

“I don’t know,” I said shaking my head. Suddenly I felt my head hurt. “Uhh.”

I put my hand on my head. My forehead felt hot.

“Hikari?” Dais put his hands on my shoulder. He gasped when I brought my hand from my forehead.

“What?” I asked.

“The jewel’s on your forehead again,” Sage said. Startled I looked towards the glossy stone tiger and saw my reflection. He was right, the blue gem was on my forehead.

“That gem is the only way for us to transfer to the other world,” Silver said. “That gem…is the same one your mother had.” I froze as I looked at her.

“You mean the like the gem has been passed on to her,” Sage said.

“Yes, the gem was to show when the time for it’s power was needed,” Silver said. Then she turned to me. “Place you hand upon the mirror on the alter, then concentrate your powers through the jewel.”

I did as I was instructed. I closed my eyes and concentrated my powers through the jewel to the mirror. The mirror blazed with light and it grew to a height where we could step through it.

“Now we must go through to the other world,” Silver said. “Link your hands together. Hikari you must concentrate on a destination and keep your focus. If  we are separated then we will never be able to go through and will be trapped in-between the worlds forever.” I took Dais’s hand as we all linked our hands.

“Hikari you must remain focused on the destination or you might end up trapped forever,” Silver said.

“I understand,” I said as I felt Dais tighten his hand over mine. I smiled at him and looked toward the others, “Ready?”

“Ready,” they said. I closed my eyes and used all my discipline of meditating to keep focused on my world. The light from the mirror lifted us. I tightened my hand even more with Dais’s as I concentrated on my world on… my house. Suddenly Everything went by like a flash.

****      ****

*Bang*

*Roar*

“Somebody get off me,” Sekhmet yelled.

“Ouch,” came Sage’s voice. “Somebody’s on my back.”

“Who just touched me,” Kayura growled.

“I believe that was me,” came Silver’s voice.

“It’s too dark,” Sage said.

“This is a fine predicament,” came Anubis’s voice.

“Speak for yourself,” came Mia’s voice.

“I can see perfectly,” came Cale’s voice.

“Well then find the fucking light switch,” I growled.

*Click*

The lights came on. The scene that Cale was looking at was so funny. Sekhmet was beside the bed with Silver on his chest. Kayura and Mia were lying face down on the floor on top of Sage‘s back. Anubis was half lying over a knocked down chair. Dais was on his back on top of me.

“Haha,” Cale started laughing.

“Oh, shut up,” I growled as Dais stood up and helped me up.

Everyone else got untangled.

“Where are we?” Sekhmet said looking around. He was looking at posters of them.

“This is my room,” I said looking around to see that nothing had changed.

The door opened. I turned to see Kayla in the doorway.

“What the hell?!” Kayla yelled. “WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN AND WHO THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE.”

“Maybe if you shut the fuck up,” I yelled. “I’ll be able to answer.”

“Don’t mouth me young lady!” Kayla yelled.

I glared at her, “Who’s gonna stop me.”

“That does it, do you know how worried I’ve been?” she yelled.

“Like you could actually worry about me,” I said. “If you actually cared I wouldn’t have had to take care of my self for eleven years.”

The others were watching, not knowing what to say, and saw her froze when I had said that. Dais looked at me and saw anger fuming from my every pore. Kayla and I remained staring at each other. After a while I turned my back to her and walked over to my desk where I pulled a small envelope out. I opened and pulled a picture of my father and me from when I was four. The others remained quiet as I put the picture back in the envelope. I got down on my knees beside the bed and pulled out a huge box. Opening the box I pulled out a bag that I had beautiful carved stones. Pulling out one that was blue and carved to look like a dolphin I stood up and placed it on the desk with the picture.

“I’ve had the police out looking for you,” Kayla finally spoke up. “Ever since seven days ago when I found you gone.”

I froze, there was no way she could actually have been worried about me. I remained silent and heard her leaving the room. I felt Dais come behind me and put his arms around me, nuzzling my neck. I had forgotten that they were with me.

“So that’s Kayla,” Silver said.

I remained silent, I was still thinking about what Kayla had said. I leaned back against Dais as he held me.

“You should tell her who we are,” Silver said.

I closed my eyes then opened them as I hid my emotions deep within me.

“Fine,” I said coldly as I turned and headed out the door and down the stairs an to the living room. I couldn’t believe what I saw when I entered the living room. Kayla was sitting on the couch and had tears flowing down her cheeks. I froze staring wide-eyed at her. She looked up at me and stood up. She walked towards and I saw her hand move. I quickly turned defensive thinking she was going to hit me, but what happened caused me to be totally confused. She hugged me.

“I know I haven’t treated you the way a mother should,” she said. “But I had been afraid that something had happened to you.”

I was speechless. I just stood there as I lightly pushed her away. I still didn’t forgive her for what she had done too me.

“I know that you might not forgive me,” she said. “But I want us to at least be friends.”

I looked at her as she let go of me. I watched as she looked the others.

“I presume that you are her friends,” Kayla said quietly.

“Yes, we are,” Kayura said.

Kayla sat down in the chair as Sage sat on the floor along with Sekhmet who sat Indian style. Cale and Kayura took the couch along with Anubis and Mia. Dais and I sat in the love seat. Silver laid down next to us.

“First let me know your names?” Kayla asked.

“I’m Kayura and this is Cale,” Kayura said indicating her and Cale. “I’m Mia and this is Anubis,” Mia said indicating her and Anubis.

Kayla turned to Sage.

“I’m Sage,” he said.

“Sekhmet,” Sekhmet said.

“I am Dais,” Dais said from where he sat next to me with his arm around my shoulder.

Then Silver spoke up.

“I am Silver,” Silver said.

“Huh,” Kayla looked at Silver, it was the first time she noticed the silver tiger and that it talked. “You talk.”

“Your going to have to tell her about the armors,” Silver said. I sighed I didn’t intend on telling Kayla but it looked like I had no choice. I told Kayla about everything that had happened to me. I left out the parts about Dais and I. I knew very well that she would give me a lecture and embarrass Dais and I. I told her about the new warrior we were looking for. And to prove everything was true, we called on our armors. Kayla just stared at the armor we were now in.

“We are only here to find the new warrior,” I said as I called off my armor.

“What about your father?” Kayla asked.

I turned towards the window.

“He already knows that I’m a warrior and will know why I am not here to stay,” I said as I turned back and found her looking at me. I watched as I saw her eyes drop on the jewel on forehead. Suddenly…

*Roar*

Silver jumped at me knocking me to the ground as a the sliding doors blew apart, shattered glass showering us. A dark shadow stood in the darkness.

“Who are you?” I stood up. The figure stepped into the light, it was a ninja.

“A ninja?” Sekhmet said.

I grinned, “Leave this to me.”

“But Hikari…” Mia started.

“No, I need something to vent my anger on,” I growled. “Illusionist Planet Power!”

Kayla’s eyes widened as she saw my Sailor Illusionist Suit and watched as I ran at the ninja. Then watched as the ninja slammed me backwards.

*SMASH*

*Glass shattering*

“Uhh,” I pushed myself off the ground. “Your dead.”

I held my hands in front of me, “Illusionist Wave Blast!”

The ninja was blasted sky high and disappeared as it turned to dust.

“Where did that ninja come from?” Cale asked.

“Who knows,” I said as I called my sailor suit off. “I hate uninvited guest.”

“I’m not even going to ask,” Silver said.

“What’s that mean?” I snapped turning to her.

“Nothing,” Silver said.

“Silver…” I said.

“What?” she said.

“Either tell me or quit acting like a smart ass,” I said.

“All I meant was I wasn’t going to ask why when you said you don’t like uninvited house guest,” she said. “So chill and stop biting other people’s heads off just because your in a bad mood.”

I watched Silver’s retreating figure. I looked at back at the others and noticed the only one who would meet my eyes was Dais. Fuming I turned and headed through the broken doors and disappeared into the shadows.

“She’s pissed,” Sekhmet said.

“Please don’t state the obvious,” Kayura said as her and Mia helped Kayla clean the glass up and to fix tea and some dinner.

****      ****

I still hadn’t retuned when the others sat down to have tea.

“Who’s gonna get her this time?” Sekhmet asked.

“How about you,” Sage said.

“Very funny,” Sekhmet said.

“Yeah,” Cale said. “With how pissed she was she’ll probably tear his head off if he bothered her.”

“I’ll find her,” Dais stood up and disappeared into the shadows where I had gone.

****    ****

Looking around he decided to use his senses to find where I was. He picked my sense about a mile into the forest.

“Why is she that far away from the house,” he thought.

He locked on to where I was and teleported there.

****      ****

He looked around and saw it was the same lake and cliff as in their world. Then he saw me. I was sitting against a tree beside the water. There were tears running down my cheeks and I was in sub-armor. There were two craters by me that looked like I had slammed my fist into the ground.

I looked up and saw Dais standing a few feet away from me. He walked up and sat down beside me putting his arms around me. Unable to contain my emotions anymore I leaned against him as more tears ran down my cheeks. His arms tightened as I felt his hand stroking my hair.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered as I looked up at him. “I wasn’t able to control my anger. I…” I stopped as Dais’s fingers touched my lips silencing me.

“You have nothing to be sorry about,” he said shaking his head.

“But…” he silenced me again.

“You can’t keep hiding your feelings,” he said. “The more you hide them, the more they torment you.”

I looked at him, I knew he was speaking from experience because he had once done the same.

“I just find I’m unable to show my emotions,” I said looking at the ground.

“Then let me help you,” he said tilting my chin so I was looking up at him.

I felt more tears run down my cheeks, “Oh Dais…” He silenced me with a kiss. When we broke apart I leaned my head on his chest.

“Thank you,” I said. “For being there for me.”

“I will always be there for you,” he said. “I’ll never leave your side.”

I smiled as we looked at the sky, watching as the sun rose.

****        ****

Fifteen minutes later Dais stood up, pulling me with him.

“We should head back,” he said.

“Alright,” I said, taking his hand.

We teleported back to the house.

****       ****

Everyone was back to sitting where they had been before I left when we got there. They looked up as we appeared, Kayla was talking on the phone.

“Yes, yes, I’ll tell her,” she said as she hung up. “That was your father.”

I looked at her.

“He says there’s something for you in the attic,” she said. “It’s in a box of blue crystal.”

“How did he know I was back?” I asked.

Kayla shook her head, because she didn’t know how.

“You mean this.” Silver walked in carrying a blue crystal box in her mouth. She set it down in front of me. The jewel on my forehead began to glow. Slowly I opened the box, it was like a jewelry box. A figure appeared from the glowing light, It was a woman in light blue armor and looked like me. She also had a jewel on her forehead.

“Lady Jasmine,” Silver said, tears falling from her tiger eyes.

The woman turner to her, “Hello Silver.”

“Mother?” I said. She turned to me.

“Yes, I am Jasmine,” she replied.

“Mother!” I ran forehead and threw my arms around her. Amazingly I didn’t go through her, her form was solid.

“Oh, my sweet Hikari,” Jasmine said. “You’ve grown to be a beautiful young lady and a loyal friend to those around you.”

Jasmine looked at the others as I stepped beside her. Her eyes landed on Dias.

“Thank you,” she said. “For protecting my daughter and giving her back her hope and faith.”

Dais bowed to her. I smiled as I noticed he was a little embarrassed to be spoke to, directly by Jasmine.

“And  you Silver,” Jasmine said, turning back to Silver. “I thank you for keeping your promise and keeping Hikari safe.”

“I would never break my promise to you,” Silver said. Jasmine smiled as she turned back to me.

“I believe the Ancient has already told you what happened 400 years ago,” She said.

“He did,” I said.

“I am sorry that you had to live your life here without any knowledge of your birth place,” Jasmine said, bowing her head. “I did not intent an putting the burden of the armor and all the responsibilities as the warrior of the galaxies on you all at once.”

“Mother, you did what you had to,” I said, then I smiled. “Beside…if this hadn’t had happened I would never have met Dais.”

Jasmine smiled as I walked beside Dais. Silver smiled and turned to Jasmine.

“She also has your stubbornness,” Silver said. Jasmine laughed at that.

“Looks like she takes after me, more than I thought,” Jasmine said.

“It’s amazing, how she never knew you till now,” Silver said. “That she grew up just like you.”

“Fate works in mysterious ways,” Jasmine said.

“Mother,” I said. She turned to me.

“Do you know the name of Sarah’s daughter?” I asked. “we are looking for her. If you know, can you tell us.”

“I am sorry but I am not aloud to say,” she said shaking her head sadly. “You must figure who it is on your own.”

“Can’t you tell us anything?” I asked.

“I’m sorry my daughter, but I can not,” she said. I sighed, how were we going to find the warrior of the falcon. When we didn’t know anything about her, there had to be a way to find.

“In order t find her, you must have faith in you armor.” Jasmine said. “As long as you faith, your armor will help you. The armor of the galaxies will lead you to her.”

“Do you mean that The armor of the Galaxies is the key to finding the warrior of the falcon?” Sage asked.

“Yes,” she said. “The armor of the Galaxies is connected to the warlord armors as well as the armor of the falcon is connected to the ronin armors. But your armor is your armor, my daughter, is connected to the armor of the falcon through the friendship that me and Sarah shared.”

I pulled out the orb of the galaxies and looked at it. The orb began to glow as if saying what my mother said was true.

“I must go,” Jasmine said catching my attention.

“Mother?” I walked next to her.

“The ancient power that is keeping me in this form is nearly depleted,” she said. “I am glad I was able to see you as a young lady.”

“Mother,” I hugged her as she smiled.

“Remember my daughter,” she said, “never lose faith and you will succeed.”

She looked at Dais and walked over to him, “Please continue to keep my daughter safe.”

“I will,” he said as I walked next to him and he placed an arm around my shoulders.

Jasmine smiled at us and then turned to the others.

“Thank you,” she said to them. “All of you.” The others bowed.

“We all will protect her,” Mia said. Jasmine smiled and turned back to Dais and I.

“I must go,” she bent down and kissed my forehead.

“Goodbye mother,” I said as I began to feel sad. But I felt a little better when Dais tightened his arm around my shoulders.  Jasmine’s form faded away as the blue crystal box closed. I knelt down as I picked the box up. A tear dropped down my cheeks. Silver walked beside me and rubbed her head against me.

*purr*

I smiled and scratched her behind the ears.

*purr*

I put my arms around her neck, hugging her as she continued to purr and lick my face. Kayla remained watching from where she stood. She hadn’t said a word when Jasmine, my mother, had appeared. Dais walked over and knelt down beside me, the others stood watching. Mia and Kayura looked at each other and nodded. Nudging Anubis Mia nodded her head towards the outside door. Kayura and Cale along with Sekhmet and Sage went to follow. Mia put a hand on Kayla’s shoulder then made a sign for her to follow them.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

While outside Mia and the others told Kayla everything that had happened in their world. Kayla asked if Dais and I were in love because she had suspected it when she first saw us together. Mia told her that we were, the others also told her to be careful now that somebody knew that we were in this world and where we were staying.

They turned and headed back into the house. They found me and Dais sitting on the couch with Silvra laying her head on my lap. The other smiled, Anubis and Mia went with Kayla to help make tea, while Sekhmet, Cale, Kayura, and Sage sat down.

“Seems Saran might know we’re in this world,” Sekhmet said, “or else there is somebody else after us.”

“We’re running out of time,” Cale said, “we need to find this new warrior soon if we are to defeat Saran.”

I brought out my armor’s orb, holding it in my hand, “Mother said that my armor was the key to finding the new warrior.”

“Yes, but we don’t know what she looks like or her age,” Sage pointed out.

“Something tells me she’s sixteen,” I said as they all looked at me. “I don’t know how to explain it, I just have a feeling that she is.” Mia, Anubis, and Kayla walked in and handed everyone a cup of tea. Suddenly my orb started to blink.

“Does the armor of the Galaxies know where she is?” Sekhmet asked me.

I had my eyes closed, “the orb says that the warrior is in this city.”

Anubis held a hand against his chin, “that narrows the search down.”

Sage looked over at us, “and if Hikari’s right and the girl is sixteen then she’d be in high school.”

“Tomorrow I’ll go to the school and see if I can find the warrior,” I said, not believing that I had to go back to that place. “I’ll see if my orb reacts to anyone.”

“I’ll also come,” Silver said sternly, “I can watch from a distance and see if I can sense anything. Somebody should scout the town for ninjas as well.”

“We can do that,” Kayura said, indicating her and Cale.

“And you must not be recognized,” Silver said, “the consequences of someone else knowing that you are the real thing and not just a TV show will be a disaster.”

“Don’t worry,” Kayura told her, “we’ll find a way.”

“I’m more worried about somebody recognizing Anubis, Cale, Sekhmet, and Dais,” Silvra said sighing. “Your hair color isn’t exactly what people call normal here and would cause too much unwanted attention.”

“I can use my powers of illusion,” Dais suggested.

“That takes care of that problem,” Sekhmet said, “cause I don’t want to dye my hair.”

“What other problem is there?” Silvra asked, her cat eyes blinking.

“Our armors,” Sekhmet replied.

“…oh dear,” Silvra said quickly, “I forgot about that problem.”

“We can worry about that later,” I said sternly, “all you have to do use the armor’s powers to keep from being seen. It’s better if you’re not noticed at all.”

“And if you run into trouble,” Silvra said, “Cale or Dais can help prevent people from seeing the battle.” A growling noise caught our attention, we looked at Silvra who was bowing her head. “It seems that I am hungrier than I thought,” she said as we all laughed.

“You’re starting to sound like Kento,” Sekhmet said, I grinned as Silvra snuffed and raised her head proudly like a queen. I began to laugh even more.

“I don’t find that funny,’ she said, we laughed even more. I saw that she couldn’t help but smile a cat grin. “You can stop you know.” I was still laughing as I stood up to go into the kitchen.

“You have to admit he’s right,” I said snickering, “you are starting to act like Kento.”

“Grrr,” Silver growled jumping at me, knocking me to the ground. We tumbled across the floor, Silver ended up flying forward pinning me to the ground. I growled in frustration trying to get her of my back.

“Looks like you’re not undefeated,” Silver laughed.

“Alright, you win, now get off my back,” I growled trying to get up.

“You didn’t say the magic word,” she chuckled.

“Now!” I yelled, my patience disappearing.

“Nope,” she said shaking her, “not till you get rid of that pride you have. You’re acting like you have a ego bigger than the warlords.”

“Silvra!” I yelled.

“Nope,” she said, I growled as my frustration grew, my jewel beginning to glow.

“Get off or I’ll last you off!” I yelled.

“Just get rid of that stupid pride,” Silver said grinning, “that pride is what causes you to have a short temper.”

I sighed in defeat and muttered, “please.”

“I can’t hear you,” she placed her ear closer.

I growled, “Argh! I said please get off!!!”

“That’s all you had to say,” Silvra said getting off my back.

“I’ll get you for this,” I snarled at her. Silvra just walked over and laid down near the couch. I clenched my teeth and pursed my lips, turning so fast that my hair flew up as I stormed into the kitchen to make dinner.”

“Do you think it’s safe for her to be at the stove?” Sekhmet asked.

“I heard that!” I shouted angrily from the kitchen. Sekhmet winced, he was in trouble now.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ten minutes later I came out with snacks, I was calmer as well. I handed each person a plate of cookies and a cup of green tea. I took my own place and sat down next to Dais. Kayla had turned on the TV on, I grinned when the channel that had the Ronin Warrior’s show on it came on. I looked at the others and grinned eve more when I saw them staring at their selves on the TV. It was the episode that Dais had tricked Kento.

“That was probably the stupidest thing you’ve ever done,” I told him, “it was a cinch for me to figure out that you were in trouble one Kento joined the fight.”

“Don’t blame me!” Dais growled, “Talpa was going to kill me if I didn’t destroy the Ronins first.”

“Yeah, and Anubis nearly ended up as toast because you got Kento so pissed at you,” I laughed, “it’s no wonder of you for that you’re his rival.”

“Yeah well, Sekhmet was Cye’s rival,” Silvra pointed out, “Anubis is considered to be Ryo’s rival in more ways than one, and Sage was considered Cale’s rival.”

I snorted, “that was to be expected considering Water against Venom, Ryo and Anubis because Ryo is the Ronin’s leader and Anubis the warlord’s leader, not to mention…their little fight over Mia. As for Cale and Sage, light vs. Dark.”

“How about we stop bringing up painful memories,” Dais said, still remembering the beating he got from Talpa.

I laughed softly and kissed his cheek, “alright.” I aimed my hand at the clicker, a humming noise could be heard as the clicker rose into the air. Then it floated over to me, I caught it and put channel 30 on. A stupid talk show was on, flipping through the channels I growled cause there was nothing on. Looking towards the clock, I saw that it was around eight something, I felt sooo bored. A knocking sound came from the door. Kayla stood up and went to the door. She came back in with someone behind her.

“Master Tai!” I nearly chocked on of the cookies because of how surprised I was. Dais slapped me on the back as I drank down the tea.

“Hello Hikari,” Master Tai said as he looked at Dais then the others and then Silvra. “Hello again, Silvra.”

I fell of the couch in surprise, “how the hell…?” I looked at Silvra. “You’re keeping something from me aren’t you.”

Silvra turned to me, “Master Tai was sent here over four hundred years ago. His job was to watch over you until you found your way into our world and learned who you really are.” Silvra turned back to Master Tai, “How did you know we were back?”

“A crystal told me,” Master Tai said smiling, it was Silvra’s turn to fall backwards.

“No crystal could have seen us!” Silvra growled, she turned holding her head up high in the air. “Seems you’re still a joker.”

“I can’t handle this,” I said putting my head back against the couch. “I’ve been transported to another world, told I have a destiny I must follow, dragged back here to find a warrior we hardly know anything about, and find out my martial arts master’s also over four hundred years ago as well as from another world, all in one week.”

“Nice week huh,” Silvra said sarcastically. The others laughed, even Kayla. I glared Dais, smacking his chest causing him to stop laughing.

Then I laid my head back with a sigh, “I was being sarcastic.”

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

We talked for almost an hour when Silvra looked at the clock, “It’s 9:00pm, we should get some rest if we want to get an early start.”

“Yeah, Yeah,” I said yawning, “there should be five guest rooms upstairs.”

“I’ve got to get to work,” Kayla said standing, “I’ll be back tomorrow morning.” I didn’t answer, Kayla sighed then went to get ready. I headed up the stairs to show everyone to their rooms.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was a few hours later when I woke up sweating, Dais stirred next to me. Silvra was laying outside the door. I was wearing a beautiful silver nightgown, while Dais was in a black shirt and jeans.

“You okay,” he asked moving the hair off my face.

“Yeah,” I said, leaning back against him, my back was against his chest and his arms were wrapped around my waist. “I guess I’m just exhausted from learning everything about my destiny in juts a week that I can’t sleep.”

He chuckled lightly, “you know we make our destiny. You can’t change the past but you can change the future.”

I smiled softly, “and I’ll have you by my side.”

“yes, you will,” he said gently squeezing me. He gently move the hair that had fallen over my eyes behind my ears. He could feel strong emotions in his heart. Our first night together he had been overcome by lust, but now he knew what he felt was really love. And he knew I loved him too.

“What’s wrong?” I asked looking up at him, he blinked and looked down at me.

“Thinking about our first night together,” he replied gently.

I smiled softly, I knew what he meant, “about how our feelings started out as lust but grew into love.”

“Yes,” he said, surprised at how I was able to read his mind, but then again not that surprised. “We’ve both changed so much, at first all I felt for you was lust.” He ran a hand down my cheek, “but now, my emotions are stronger, I’m deeply in love with you.”

I smiled as I sat up looking into his eyes, “so am I.” I gently kissed him as my arms went around his neck. He held me tightly as I placed my head on his chest, curling up against him. I snuggled against his chest, “let’s get some sleep my love…or I won’t be able to get up tomorrow.”

His chest shook with laughter as he laid back against the pillows, “that’s a new one, goodnight my love.”

“`Night my handsome warlord of illusion,” I replied closing my eyes.

Chapter 8

The loud beeping of my alarm woke me up, “uhh…” I groaned turning to my side. The beeping gew louder. “Argh!” I swung from my bed and shot towards the alarm clock. I slammed my fist into the alarm clock sending it flying. The alarm clock slammed into the wall, stopping it’s alarm. “Uhhh,” I leaned my head against the wall.

Dais sat up and saw the alarm clock laying next to the wall with a dent in it. He shook his head, I was always like this when woken up too early.

“Uhh,” I yawned and sat down on the edge of the bed. I looked into the mirror and saw my hair was spiked up. Raising my hand a burst of wind came from nowhere and blew my hair straight.

“You can got back to sleep ya know,” I said as I got up and walked to my closet.

“Why are you up so early?” he asked as he watched me.

“Ask the damn clock,” I growled, my tone had a dangerous note to it, as if I would tear something apart.

He smiled shaking his head, looks like I was just going through my “woken up to early” mood. I looked through my closet and found my white t-shirt with the words “Dreams of a Illusionist” in purple, and blue jeans.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Dais watched me leave the room to go downstairs, mumbling something about making breakfast. He sighed then grabbed a t-shirt and jeans from his bag and got dress, then he headed downstairs.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

An hour later Sekhmet and the others came downstairs, lured by the smell of food. Sekhmet was heading to the kitchen to get something to drink was Dais stopped him, “ I wouldn’t go in there.”

“What’s wrong?” Sekhmet asked, he stuck his head into the kitchen. “Hik…ahhh!” Sekhmet shot backwards.

“What?” Kayura asked quickly.

“Why is she so pissed?!” Sekhmet yelled, “I nearly had knife come at my head!”

“She had a early wake up call,” Dais said as he sat down next to the kitchen doors.

“Yeah, and the early wake up call has a dent in it,” Silvra said coming down the stairs. “and so does the wall.”

“When is it going to be safe to go in there?” Cale asked, staying away from the doorway.

“I’ll check,” Dais said getting up, he walked into the kitchen and found me cooking at the stove. The heat in the kitchen was intense and their was a high energy wave in the atmosphere. Which meant I was still in a very bad mood. He knew I was still pissed because when I moved the frying to the pain to the stove to put the eggs on a plate my anger showed in my movements. He decided to wait until I no longer had a hot frying pan in my hand, so he sat down on the edge of the table. I turned and saw him sitting there, I jumped nearly causing myself to drop the plate.

“How long have you been there?” I asked as I set the plate down.

“For at least five minutes,” he said watching me, “the others are wondering if it’s safe to come in here.”

“Sure,” was all I said as I turned back to the stove, he continued watching me. Sekhmet walked in first and looked over at Dais. Dais nodded and Sekhmet signaled to the others that it was okay to come in. The others came in and sat down next to the plates. As the others ate they noticed I hadn’t touched a thing.

“Aren’t you going to eat?” Mia asked, a concern look on her face.

“I’m not hungry,” I replied, Silvra looked up at me. “And don’t even start,” I growled, “I said I’m not hungru and I’m not touching anything.” I snapped at her before she could say anything. The others stayed silent and watched as I used my powers to send the frying pans into the sink. The pans began to wash themselves.

The phone began to ring, my head snapped towards the phone. I walked over to it and picked up. “Hello,” I said in a calm voice.

~*~*~”Helllo, is Master Tai there,” a boy’s voice asked.~*~*~

“Yes, he is,” I turned to the stairs and put my hand over the phone. “Master Tai!!” A loud noise cane from the roof and the sound of a window opening.

“Hikari,” Master Tai said sternly as he walked down the stairs, “you know I don’t like being woken up early.”

“Deal with it!” I snapped as I threw the phone at him. He caught it and gave me a disapproving look, I just gave him my stern look.

“Hello,” Master Tai said.

~*~*~ “Hello Master Tai,” the voice said. ~*~*~

“Oh, hello Kent,” Master Tai said.

~*~*~ “I was just wondering when the next martial arts class will be?” Kent asked. ~*~*~

“I shall send a notice when the next martial arts class is,” Master Tai replied.

~*~*~ “Alright, thanks Master Tai,” Kent said. ~*~*~

“Goodbye,” Master Tai said hanging the phone up. He looked at me and frowned. “And what has caused you to be a demon this morning and to wake me up early.”

“You’ll just have to deal with it,” I snapped as I turned and headed to the sink, practically throwing the dishes into the washer hard.

“Hikari, maybe you should…” Silvra started. “Grr…a…hissss.” Silvra cried out as a pan landed on her tail. She shot forward and growled at growled at me. I paid her no mind, the others decided it was best to just keep their mouths shut. When I had finished loading the dishwasher I went out the back door.

I walked along the path that went from the house to the mailbox. I saw the paper lying next to the mailbox. As I was picking the paper up I felt a shiver down my spine. I looked around, my eyes darting from place to place, then I spotted it. A ninja sat in a tree not too from me, I pulled my orb out smirking.

“Armor of the Galaxies,” I whispered as my armor appeared and I disappeared into the shadows.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

“Perfect,” the ninja said, he was in a tree not even a few feet from the girl called Hikari. The girl his master ordered him to capture. This girl had already destroyed so many of his warriors and only a only a few with help from the others. He watched as the girl suddenly disappeared.

“Where’d she go,” he looked around, suddenly he felt a energy behind him. He spun around and his eyes went wide.

“Hello,” I said, I raised my sword and brought it down. He jumped out of the way.

“Not bad, he said, “but it’s not enough.”

I smirked, “you’re pretty quick, but not quick enough.” I shot forward with inhuman speed bringing my sword around.

He jumped up avoiding it, “you’re quick as well. A worthy opponent.”

“As are you,” I growled as I raced after him, I soon came up along side of him.

“Ninja Stars!” he yelled, flinging star knifes at me. It I flipped over half and back flipped over the others.

“Try dodging this,” he sent a kusari-gama at me. It wrapped around my sword. I smirked and pulled. Pulling the ninja with me.

“Too bad you underestimated me,” I smirked, “I’m in a really bad mood today, Galaxy Shock!” Lightning throughout the chain, shocking the ninja . The ninja dropped his weapon.

“Seems I have,” he said, “but ninja always carries many mysterious things.” He pulled a long and deadly blade out, the sword was so sharp I could slice through metal.

“Slash of Black Darkness!!” he shouted bringing his sword down at me as darkness shot at me.

“Cry of the Galaxies!!” I shouted as a bright blue beam shot out of my sword. The two blasts came together with a huge explosion.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

An large explosion sounded outside causing the others to jump, Sage ran into the room, “What was that?”

“An explosion?” Mia said, running to the door.

“Oh no, Hikari!” Dais yelled, they called upon their armors and ran outside. When they got to where the explosion had been they froze in their steps. Many trees had been destroyed and a huge center was in the ground.

“Hikari!” Dais roared jumping near the crater.

“Over here I replied weakly, from under a huge pile of boulders. As they started to the move the boulders I began to glow, they sprang back. “Arrgghhhhhhhh!!!” I shouted as the boulders shot everywhere freeing me from my stone prison. I stepped out of the rocks and called off my full armor going to sub-armor.

“What happened?” Sage asked looking around.

“Take a look at this,” Mia held up a broken sword.

“That’s one of the ninja’s swords,” Sage said taking it and looking it over.

“I sensed one spying on me,” I replied, my body was aching. “I ended up catching him by surprised.” I looked at the place where the ninja had been. They’re starting to get smarter.”

Cale looked around as he scanned the area for any other threats, “looks like they know were here.”

Sekhmet frowned, “what I don’t get is how they got here.”

“That’s what I wanna know,” I growled, my bad mood had worsened. “They couldn’t have gone through the same portal we did.”

“We could capture one and make them tell us,” Sage suggested to everyone, I glared death at him.

“I’m not letting any of these things live,” I snarled, everyone looked at me and saw fire burning in my eyes.

“They could be humans just like us,” Sage said shocked.

“They’re not,” I growled as the others gasped.

“How can you be sure?” Sage snapped with anger in his eyes.

“If they had been human their bodies would have remained after being killed. I hissed, “the ninjas turned to dust.”

“She is right,” Silver said appearing on a boulder above. “These enemies are not human, Saran is the only known human we have to face. There might be others in the high commands, but these common ninjas are like the dynasty soldiers.”

“So the ninja are like the dynasty soldiers,” Cale said thinking, “then they just have human souls trapped in them.”

“Yes,” Saran replied with a nod, “Saran prefers to use spirits rather that humans because they are harder to kill.”

I snorted, “they’re just like those buckets of bolts.”

“They may be like the major dynasty soldiers in strength, but they are faster,” Silver said sitting down. “They also are much more smarter, it takes a lot to fool them, because the can see through illusions.”

“That means Dais’ illusions are useless,” Cale said punching a fist.

“Not entirely,” Silver said looking over at him, “But it would take a lot to fool them.” I rolled my eyes and looked at my watch. It was 7:00am, we had to start our search.

“It’s time,” I growled turning and heading in, the others looked up. They looked at each other confused at first.

“She means it’s time to start the search for the new warrior,” Silver replied, knowing they thought I meant going after the ninjas. They nodded and headed in as well.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

We all stood ready in the kitchen, I sat on the counter leaning against the shelves. Dais stood next to me, the others sat at the table.

Silver sat on the floor looking at everyone, “the pairings are simple. Anubis and Mia take the park. Cale and Kayura check the forest near the lake. Sekhmet and Dais take the town, be careful because the ninja can disguise themselves. Hikari, Sage, and I will take the school. Everyone know where they’re going?”

“Yes,” everyone replied.

“Alright, let’s get started,” Silver said standing, Anubis and Mia headed to check the park. While Cale and Kayura went to check theirs.

“I’ll meet you outside,” Dais told Sekhmet, Sekhmet nodded and headed out. Silver headed outside with Sage to wait for me. Dais waited until they were outside and turned to me. I slid off the counter and stood in front of him, our eyes locked as his hand came up to my cheek. “Be careful,” he said to me as he bent down and captured my lips with his.

I stepped closer to him, pressing my lips against his. He pulled me closer, his hands going around my waist. He groaned as my arms snaked up his chest and around his neck. His tongue ran along my bottom lip, my lips parted permitting access. I met his tongue with mine as he explored my mouth. He stepped forward causing me to be pressed against the wall. He pulled back and looked into my eyes.

“I’ll be careful, I promise,” I whispered as he brushed my lips once more before taking hand. We headed out to Silver, Sekhmet, and Sage.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I let out a low growl, I never thought I would be back here. I stood hidden a huge tree next to the school. Sage was on a branch that was a little higher and to my right. I looked towards the roof and saw Silver, she shook her head.

“Sense anything,” Sage asked as Silver silently walked towards the edge of the roof.

“No, not yet,” Silver answered, she looked over at me. “What about the orb?”

“It’s been reacting, but that’s it,” I replied, “I’ve been trying to pinpoint as soon as I started to get close to where it is it disappears.”

“It’s probably because of a protection shield,” Silver replied closing her eyes thoughtfully. “It’s a special shield that the armor surrounds the bearer with and keeps itself from being detected. Not even the bearer an see the shield, some don’t even know it’s there.”

“Argh,” I slammed my forehead against the tree causing it to shake. “How the hell are we supposed to find her if we can’t even sense it’s signal.”

Sage was starting to get worried, he didn’t know how long I would be able to keep my patience. If I wasn’t careful somebody could look out the window and see us and that wouldn’t be good.

“Calm down,” Silver said tail swaying, “let’s wait a while longer.” The three of us turned silent and still as the bell started to ring.

“3rd hour,” I replied sighing, “I hope we find something.”

“For now try to stay patient,” Silver said scanning the school yard.

“Yeah, yeah,” I said rolling my eyes.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Mia jumped to another tree, she had only seen a few people enter the park, but no sign of any ninja. Moving swiftly and silently she landed next to a huge tree near the lake.

“Find anything?” Anubis appeared next to her.

“Nothing,” Mia said shaking her head, “there’s nothing here.”

“I didn’t find anything either,” Anubis said looking around.

“It’s starting to seem like the enemy can find us, but we can’t find them,” Mia said sighing.

“Maybe the others are having better luck than us,” Anubis replied.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Meanwhile Cale and Kayura weren’t having much luck too, and Cale was starting to get pissed.

“Damn it!” Cale growled slamming his fist, “these ninja are starting to turn into pains in the ass! They’re making fools of us!”

“Cale!” Kayura cried smacking his chest, “it’s bad enough Hikari swears so much and she’s only sixteen.”

“Well you do to and your physically about twelve,” Cale told her.

“Not anymore, surprising you haven’t noticed,” Kayura said moving her hair behind her head. “I’m physically twenty-one and your physically twenty-five.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Cale said, not even paying attention, “it doesn’t matter.”

“Hmph,” Kayura turned and while walked past him she smacked him causing him to wince.

“What was that for?” Cale growled rubbing his head.

“Come on, we may as well head back,” she took off with Cale grumbling behind her.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Meanwhile  in town and Dais and Sekhmet weren’t having any luck wither. They had looked over almost every single part of the town. They ran into a ninja but destroyed it in seconds.

“Nothing,” Sekhmet said jumping to another roof, “we’ve searched almost all of this place and there’s nothing here.”

“Hopefully the others are having better us,” Dais said, he was starting to get irritated. The communicator that Silver gave them suddenly went off. “Go ahead,” he said as he turned it on and a picture of Kayura and Cale appeared.

~*~*~ “We checked the forest and lake but there was nothing there,” Kayura said. ~*~*~

“There’s nothing here either,” Dais said, Sekhmet’s communicator went off and a picture of Anubis and Mia appeared.

~*~*~ “We’re done in our area,” Anubis said, “there’s nothing.” ~*~*~

“We haven’t found anything either,” Sekhmet said, “neither has Kayura and Cale.”

~*~*~ “Alright,” came everyone’s voices as the communicators went off. ~*~*~

“Come on,” Dais said, “we better meet up with Hikari and Sage.”

“You sure you’re just not in a hurry to see Hikari,” Sekhmet smirked at his friend, Dais turned silent as Sekhmet laughed. “Alright let’s go.” Sekhmet smiled watching his friend take off to the school, quickly.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sage looked up from the branch he was on to see the others landing on the roof, “Hikari.”

“What?!” I snapped, I had long ago lost my patience.

“The others are here,” he said sighing,. I followed his look to the roof and saw the others, grumbling I jumped with Sage to the roof.

“Anything?” Sekhmet asked, a snarl was his answer. I walked back towards the edge of the roof.

“The orb has been reacting all day but somehow is unable to be pinpointed,” Sage said, his tone saying that I hadn’t been in a good mood the whole time. “It keeps giving Hikari the slip.”

I growled and tensed glaring at him as my hair blew in the wind, “it’s making a fool out of me.” I slammed a fist into the hard stone wall on the roof. It broke around my fist causing blood to fall from my hand. Silver landed next to me and muttered something in another language. The wound on my hand healed as the hole in the wall repaired as well.

“Calm yourself,” Silver said sternly, “do you want to lose control of your power?”

Dais came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, I instantly calmed closing my eyes with a sigh. My anger slowly disappeared and I felt calmer.

“We’ve all had a trying day,” Mia said, “why don’t we head back.”

“Sure,” I said as I leaned back against Dais with a soft sigh. “Least we know the area this warrior…is in.”

We turned and head took off across the roofs, heading back to my place.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

When we got back Mia and Kayura went into the kitchen to help Kayla make a dinner big enough to fill four warlords and the rest of them. I sat with Dais watching TV while Sekhmet, Cale, Anubis and Safe trained outside. Silvra laid on the floor beside Dais and me. I looked up at the sound of the door opening, Master Tai walked in looking before walking over.

“Any luck?” he asked sitting in a armchair.

“Don’t ask,” I said irritable.

“No luck huh,” he chuckled at my irritated expression.

“It was a wild goose chase,” I grumbled turning back to the TV. I flipped through the channels till I came to a channel playing The Little Mermaid.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Halfway into the movie Sage and the others walked in.

“What the hell?” Sekhmet said looking at the TV.

“It’s the Little Mermaid,” I said eying him, “now sit down you’re in the way of the screen.”

“You always fall for romantic shows,” Master Tai laughed.

“So,” I said looked over at him, “what’s the matter with that?”
“Nothing, it’s just strange since you like shows about demons and vampires as well,” Master Tai pointed out.

I just shrugged, “I like being different.”

“Dinner’s ready,” Mia said walking in, we all headed to the dinner table.

Dinner was spent talking about the failed search. We then agreed that we’d have a relaxation day the next day, since we narrowed down the area the new warrior was in. So the next day I would take them out on the town and show them around. After dinner we stayed up late watching movies before going to bed.
