Millennium Puzzle's complete and Yami-Yugi was born

 

When Yugi finally finishing solving his Millennium Puzzle, something happening to it and to him. Serena was in trouble when big bully was about do something to her, she was rescue by Yugi's dark self.

 

 

 

Monday morning, Serena and Yugi walking together to school. She was now 8th grade as freshmen and her cousin was sophomore in 9th grade. Finally when they got there, he took her to the office to get her class schedules.

 

"May I help you?" said the lady.

"Hi, Mrs. Bell. This is my cousin from Tokyo. Serena Tsukino." Yugi told her.

"Oh, yes. I have her class schedules, map, rules and her number locker with it. Yugi will show you in class you're going to, Serena. And welcome to Domino High School." she told Serena as she thanking her and they left the office.

 

Yugi looking at her schedule and he was happy that she going same class as him in homeroom class: English class. Then they went to the locker room where the entire pupil came and change their own shoes to school shoes. They found Serena's locker was next to Yugi's. He took out his school shoes as put his sneakers away in his locker; he saw Serena's face look nervously and scared in the same time.

 

"Something the matter, cuz?" Yugi asked her.

"Well, it was my first time without my friends with me. I don't think if this school will fit me without my best friends from back home." she said.

"Don't worry. I'm sure you make new friends. And I'm always be here with you if you have any problem, come to me." he said as she nodded to him.

 

Later then, they went to same class in English class. Yugi was talking to his teacher about Serena. The class bell rang as all students went to their desk and Yugi was talking to his four friends that Serena watching. One guy with blond hair, another guy with brown hair, a girl with red-brown short hair, and another girl with azure color hair with yellow ribbon tied into ponytail from her back. The teacher walking outside and saw Yugi's cousin with smile faces.

 

"Hello, young lady. You must be Muto's cousin that I've heard about. Welcome to my classroom. I'm your English teacher, Mr. Alem. Wait one moment when I called you in." he said to her as he went to classroom. "Okay, class. Settle down now. “All the students quiet down and took their seat.”Good. As I was saying. Everyone, we having newest student from Tokyo and she'll be joining in our class this year." he said as the guys were cheering and whistling except Yugi. "Quiet now. So let's meet her shall we? Young lady, you can enter now."

 

Serena entering the class as guys was drooling, blushing, and dazed at her. They were thinking that she's so pretty, beautiful, and cute girl in their class. But that made her nervously and she's really need Lita or Amy right now but instead she has her favorite cousin with her. She looking at his friends, they were smiling at her as she smiled little at them. She thinks that she'll make new friends with Yugi's.

 

"Class, this is Serena Tsukino. She's from Tokyo, Japan. And she's also one of the student's cousin. So let's feel her welcome. Serena, you be sitting behind between Yugi and Joey." her teacher told her as she looking Yugi and boy who's waving her that she think he must be Joey then took her seat. The teacher now beginning for assignment.

 

The bell rung in afternoon, the students were heading to lunch. Serena and Yugi were playing game together.

 

"Hey Yugi! Quit playing game and come play basketball with us for once." said one of classmate. "Maybe you can bring your cousin to join."

"That's okay... My team would just lose..." Yugi nervously.

"Thanks for offering. But I don't think I'm not good enough playing basketball." Serena replied.

 

The boy shuddering his shoulder and left the class. Then Yugi put his game away in his book back and took out something else.

"Hey Serena! I forgot to show you something. But can you keep a secret?" he said.

"Sure. I'll keep a secret." she replied.

 

He took out a golden box with hieroglyphs on every side with eye symbol on the front as she awed at it.

 

"What is it, Yugi? I never see that thing before." she asked him.

"I'll show you. This is my greatest treasure is in the box. But remember, my dear cousin, you have to keep it a secret." he said as she nodded. "I have riddle for you. It's something that you can see, but have never seen before. What do you think it is?"

She listening his riddle. It was very confused and hard at the same time. She doesn't know that riddle. So Yugi will answer for her.

"The riddle I told you is..." He about to opened the lid, someone snatched his box from him as they saw a boy with blond from their same class was Joey.

"Hey! What's in the box?" Joey was looking at the box.

"Oh! Hey Joey. Serena, this is my friend Joey Wheeler. Joey, this is my cousin that I told you about."

"How you do?" Joey greeting as he give box back to Yugi.

"Very well. And nice to meet you as well, Joey." she said with smiled face.

"Hey Yugi! Are you going introduce us with your cousin." said the girl with red-brown hair along behind her with boy and girl.

"Guys, meet my cousin Serena. Serena, this is my childhood best friend Tea Gardner, Tristan Taylor, and Miho." Yugi introduced.

"Hello, Serena!" Tea, Tristan, and Miho greeting bowed at her.

"Hi!" Serena bowed back to them.

"Anyway... Yugi, what's in the box?" said Joey.

"I was about to show this to her.... hey, Tea, I thought you going to play basketball with others." he said.

"I was. But on the basketball court, I thought the guys were passing the ball to the girls a lot... and I just found out they were peeking when the girls made their shots." she said as she made frowning and growling. "Those jerks! So I quit and came in." Then she folded her arms and humped. "Remember this, Serena. Never play basketball in skirt."

Serena and Miho shocked and blushed embarrassed but Joey, Tristan, Yugi were blushing and drooling as they image girl's shirt lift as underwear showed.

'Basketball good!!' The boys thought.

"What are you thinking about?" Tea asked them as Serena hitting them with her no-way anime hammer.

"Nothing. You know boys. Anyways think about cars, girls, etc." Serena laughed nervously as the boys made a face at her.

"I guess you right. By the way, Yugi... What is this?" Tea pointed at the box still on his desk.

"Oh that's right. You all haven't seen this yet. If you all promised to keep it a secret, and I'll show you." Yugi asked them.

"Okay!"

"No problem."

"Sure!"

 

Yugi opened the lid once more, and they saw piece of gold in the box as they awed and amazed at it.

"Wow! It's so pretty." Tea look at it

"They're look like sparkling gold." said Miho as Tristan agreed with her.

"What are they, Yuge?" said Joey. "They look like all broken up into many pieces."

"It's a puzzle. I've never finished it. So I don't know what it looks like." Yugi told them.

"Maybe you can put them together and see what's they look like." said Tristan.

"Hey way a minute. Yugi, what's this same box that you wrote me letter about 8 years ago that you told me about when grandpa give you this?" said Serena.

"Yes it is, cuz. And anyway, my family runs a game store. This puzzle is a memento of my grandpa, so I like it especially well."

'A memento...." Tea thought shocking and speaking out loud. "Your grandpa died, Yugi?!"

"That's not what he meant, Tea. He's means this box was going to be a memento not about him been died." Serena explained to her as Tea relived.

"Sorry, my mistake." Yugi sweat drop.

"Yugi, if you don't do it now... Grandpa will think you given up on these puzzle." Serena warned him.

"Who's give up? I'll do that later. But right now, we better get something to eat right now. I'm starving."

"Me too." The gang said together and went to the cafeteria. Tristan and Joey were talking together without warning them, they got bumped on someone. They felt someone's chest was hard as brick wall. They look up and made Tristan fright but Joey's frown.

 

"Are you going somewhere?" said tough boy.

"Err...." Tristan was about to say something, a big, tough bully looking at Serena.

"Well, what have we here." The boy walked to her. "Are you new around here?" He smiled wolfish at her.

"Yes, I am." She said.

"What's your name, sweetie?" he said.

"Serena. Yugi's cousin." she answered.

"Pretty name. For gorgeous gal like you. I see you soon, babe." He then left from them as Joey frowned at tough bully.

"Serena, what ever you do... Don't go near him." Joey warned her.

"That's Ushio. He's a hall monitor. Everyone was afraid of him. He makes all the rules at this school. Even teachers are too scared of him to say anything." Tristan added.

"I see. I agreed with you. That guy made me frighten." she said and they went to the cafeteria.

 

After school, everyone walked out the school and heading home. Serena was thinking about Tristan and Joey's word about Ushio. That tall guy was so mean to the teachers and the students spread rumors about him. She better not go near him. Then she remembers something about the puzzle that Yugi told her. He also said if he completes the puzzle together, he'll let her make a wish for it. But she doesn't know what she should wish for just as soon Yugi will finish the puzzle in no time.

 

"Okay! Let's get home and finishing that puzzle, Serena." said Yugi.

"Alright, cuz." she said as they about to leave the school. Someone calling them from behind as they turned around. Serena was shocked when she saw Ushio lead his back on the wall and his were crossed.

"I'm Ushio, the hall monitor. I want to ask you something, Yugi." he said.

"O...okay." said Yugi.

"Are you being bullied by certain students in your class?" said Ushio.

"What? Nothing like that happens to me." Yugi shocked as well as Serena.

"And what about you, babe? Did anybody say anything about me?" Ushio wolfish smiled at her.

"Uh... No, I don't think so." she said as they about to leave again.

"Listen, sweetie. Everyone thinks I wasn't so mean to everyone in school but they're wrong. I'm not like that. So I'll tell you want.... I'll be you and your cousin's bodyguard from now on. So what do you say?" Ushio moved close to her and he scent her hair smell like wild flower that made him obsessions at her.

She moved away from him. "Thanks for offering but no thanks. But we better getting home now, Ushio. See ya!" She said and they running away from him.

Ushio watching running and thinking they lied. Then he licked his lips as he watching Yugi's cousin with lust in his eyes. 'Heh heh! I've found a good victim and babe as my new play toy for fun.' He then left too.

 

Later then, Yugi and Serena finally made it home. They still frighten and wondering about Ushio's words. So they annoyed it anyway and entering their home/shop.

 

"Grandpa, we're..."

“Hey Yugi!" They saw Tea standing there.

"...home...Hey Tea!" Yugi smiled.

"What are you doing here?" Serena asked her.

"Heh heh...thought I'd come over to play with you two." Tea winked at them.

"Well, come on in!" said grandpa as he came down the stairs.

"YEEEEK!" Tea shrieked.

"Hey now, Tea! It's rude to scream at people." said grandpa.

"H...hello!" She smiled nervously then frowned and whispering to Yugi or Serena. "Hey Yugi, I thought you said your puzzle was a memento of your grandpa."

"Tea, I told you before, it was going to be a memento." Serena replied with shook her head.

His grandpa heard them. "Are you trying to killed me?!"

Serena giggled. "No, grandpa. I kept telling Tea about the puzzle not about you been died."

"That's good, my little moonflower. And Tea, you've grown since I saw you last. Especially your bust. Almost to the 32'' mark." he said.

"Grandpa! You worse than one of my friend's grandpa." She shocked at her own grandpa act like Raye's grandpa. "Sorry about that, Tea."

"That's okay." Tea smiled nervously. 'What's with their grandpa?!'

"Come on, you two. Let's work on the puzzles in my room!" Yugi called them.

"Okay!" said the girls.

"What's this, Yugi? You still haven't given up on that puzzle?" He said.

"Who'd give up?" Yugi mumbled.

"I told you so, Yugi." Serena whispered at her cousin.

"The Millennium Puzzle is beyond human understanding. It's too hard for you, my boy. And it has all sorts of unsavory rumors attached to it." Grandpa told him.

"Rumors?" Tea confused.

"What kind of rumors, grandpa?" Serena asked him.

"Why Yugi's puzzle of course, my child. The Millennium Puzzle was discovered at the beginning of the 20th century. The team of British archaeologists took it out of a Pharaoh's crypt in the Valley of the Kings. However, afterward all those team died mysterious deaths." Grandpa told them a story as Tea was frighten, Yugi looks excited, and Serena was shocked and worried.

"What happened to them, grandpa?" Serena asked him.

"That's mystery, Serena. I don't know about what happened to them. And the last one said with his dying breath..." he said last sentence in deep ancient voice. "The Shadow Games".

 

Tea looked at the box that Yugi still holding that made her frighten from it as she moved away from it. "Yugi, that puzzle is dangerous."

"What are 'Shadow Games'? Sounds cool." Yugi excited more at the box.

'Hmm, Shadow Games. What's that so familiar?' Serena thinking. "Grandpa, what are those hieroglyphs says?"

"The hieroglyphs carved into this box say this: 'The one who solves me shall gain the powers and knowledge of darkness.'" Grandpa read out loud.

"Shadow Games? Power and knowledge... It does grant wishes! Now I'm really fire up! I'll finish it no matter what! And Serena will grant her wish!" Yugi excited and running to his room but then grandpa started to chase him.

"Give that back! That would bring the price!" Tea and Serena could hear Grandpa shouted.

"You just want to sell it!"

"Give that back!"

"No way! This is my memento of Grandpa!"

"Are you trying to kill me?!"

Serena laughed and shook her head at them from upstairs. "Tea, maybe you should get home instead working the puzzle."

"Good idea. I want to get away from that thing. See ya tomorrow, Serena." Tea waving good-bye at her and left the store.

 

Later, Serena starting writes a letter to her friends even for Andrew and Rini. She missed them very much. But she makes newest friends. Yugi remind just like her and his friends were like her friends. It was now 9:30 pm in the night and it was time for bed. So she was going to say good night to her cousin. She opened the door and saw Yugi still working putting the puzzle.

 

"Yugi, you should be sleeping by now." said Serena.

"I know. But I always get struck here." He said and tried to find the piece goes to. Serena sitting down his bed and watched.

"Yugi?"

"Hmm?"

"About those puzzle. I just have these feeling that thing looks so familiar even the shadow games. It was like...I know these from my past. Pretty crazy huh?"

"We got these feeling too. And I know what you mean, Serena. It was like I felt something about this puzzle before. *Yawn*... But...*snore*" Yugi was fallen asleep as his head laid on the desk.

 

Serena took out a light blanket and covers him. Then she kissed his forehead gently. She was about to left his room, she could swear Yugi's almost complete puzzle was glowing as she looked at it, it didn't glowing.

"Just my imagination. I just hope Yugi will finish it tomorrow." She said to herself and left the room. But she didn't know Yugi's shadow grow large was watching at them then fainted away in the night.

 

The next day, Serena asked her grandpa a favor to take her letters to the Post Office and he will do that as she and Yugi goes off to school. That afternoon, Serena was outside looking for her cousin. She spot two students talking together when she walking to them and tapping on them.

 

"Excuse me, have you seen my cousin that has spike hair and wore black belt around his neck around here?"

"Yeah, I see him. The boy went behind back of the school with tallest, mean bully." said one the boys and pointed at.

Serena was worried and shocked that Yugi was with Ushio, the hall monitor. She started to run where the boy pointed at. She then stopped and gasping. She saw Yugi, Tristan, and Joey were beat up on the ground.

 

"Tristan! Joey! Yugi! Are you guys alright?" She cried worried at three boys.

"We're fine, Serena." Joey said groaning.

"Who did this to you?!" Serena asked them.

"Serena....it....was....U...Ushio..." Yugi replied painfully then three of them fainted as Serena cried them.

"Guys! Wake up!" She shook them but no of them replied. She then running to get help from school office.

 

Two volunteer took them to the nurse's office. The nice nurse put three of them in bed for rest while she getting the first-aid-kit. Tea and Miho tried to come down Serena who's crying and worried for her only cousin and other two. Later, they went to classroom but Serena staying with Yugi and two boys, still crying.

 

'That Ushio! That...liar bully! He said he wasn't so mean to everyone in school! That jerk!' Serena thought angered. She started to remember about Yugi's puzzle. She finally what she wished for but she'll wait until Yugi awake soon.

 

It's starting to get dark soon. Yugi and Serena were at home. Their grandpa was worried about Yugi got beat up including Tristan and Joey. Yugi was at his room working his puzzle. He was very worried about what Ushio do to him again. He didn't tell Serena about what Ushio told him that he has to pay $1,600. If Yugi doesn't pay by tomorrow, Ushio will do something to him and his beloved cousin.

 

"Oh! What should I do? $1,600! That's way too much money. I only have less allowance to pay for that creep." Yugi said to himself but doesn't know that he's working his puzzle then stop what he's doing. "Ah! What am I doing working on a puzzle? This isn't the time for that..." He starting to remember back in nurse from Serena what's she wishing for.

 

~Flashback~

 

Unknown hour, Yugi finally woke up from conscious. He look around the room. He look at Joey and Tristan in bed still unconscious from beat up by that jerk Ushio. He then turn to his side was Serena sitting next to him, sleeping as her head was bow, her eyes were closed, and her arms were crossed. He could tell that his cousin was like an angel watching over him. He shook her gently as she woke up.

 

"Hm? Yugi, you're awake!" She was relieved that he woke up.

"Serena, what happened? How did we get here?"

"Three of you were beat up by that jerk, Yugi. And two helpers and I carrying you are here in nurse office." Serena explained to him.

"How long I've been unconscious?" he asked.

"About hour or two, I think." she answered.

 

He nodded and lay down as he sighed. Then he felt her hands touched gently on his hands as she holding them.

"Yugi, I have to tell you something." she said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Well, if you could finish your puzzle today, I have a wish." she told him.

"Okay. So... What's your wish for my puzzle?"

"My wish is... to have someone could protect us from any bully who did this to you, Joey, and Tristan like that loser Ushio. And I want this person as my protector as well also. Someone we can trust." She said with gently smiled.

He overhead her wishing for puzzle was really amazed to him. He really started to like her wish a lot. Having someone who could protect them from any bully was a great idea.

"If that's your wish, I'm sure the puzzle will grant it for you. And I'll finishing my puzzle in no time...starting today. I promised you, Serena." He smiled and he hugging his favorite cousin.

 

~Flashback~

 

While Yugi was thinking in his though, he doesn't know that his puzzle is almost complete that made surprised when he looked at it. His puzzle was look like upside-down pyramid. Only one more where the front at.

 

'I....I did it! Only one more piece to go. And I'll finally finish it my puzzle. Serena, you will have your wish in no time.' He was excited and nervously at the same time. He was about take out the last piece of puzzle from his box, he felt nothing. He looked at it, it was empty. The last piece was missing. He was shocked. He looked everywhere in his room but found nothing.

 

"Where could it be?!" He cried as looked everywhere. Then he started to think back. He probably left the last piece of puzzle from his classroom during recess. He took his puzzle with him and book back then run out his room toward school.

 

Serena was at the book store. She looks one by one on every very book shelves. She then spots the book section that says 'History Area'. She went there and looked at more books. Then suddenly she found the book about Egyptian book. Just what she looking for. She took it out from the shelf then went to cashier and buys it.

 

Later, she went home with the book she bought and beginning looking about much stuff about Egyptian from the past. Then she found something from reference section page. It says: 'The seven Millennium Item.' She flipped thought the page and found the same title.

 

Then look at the seven different Millennium Items and found one of it looks like Yugi's puzzle and it's called 'Millennium Puzzle'.

"Hmm. It says here: This item was called the Millennium Puzzle. It use belong to the Pharaoh of Ra. It was very powerful item. Later, the pharaoh's soul was.... WHAT?!" She shouted and read thought it. "The pharaoh was inside the puzzle by someone since during the battle and he been sealed for...5,000 years from the past! And if someone completes his puzzle, the person will share the body as one! Oh, no! Yugi!" She runs from her room to his. Yugi wasn't there but she found a note from his desk. He was at school.

 

She then changes her school uniform to white stripped dress and leaving her hair down. Once she's dress up, she leave to find her cousin at school. She running to the bridge and found Tristan looking down at bridge.

 

"Tristan!" She called to him as he saw her.

"Hey Serena!"

"What are you doing here?"

"Helping Joey to get out the water."

"Huh?" She then down as well and found Joey waving at her, dripping wet as he climb up the ladder. "Joey, what happened to you?"

"Well, it was long story but here." He took her hand and places something that he found from the river. As she looking at it, she shocked. It was piece of puzzle from Yugi's box. The piece has eye symbol just like her book. "Joey, how did you found this?"

"Well...you see. I was taken out from Yugi's box since yesterday afternoon during lunch. And we thinking if Yugi found out the last piece was missing from the box...err..."Joey nervously and looked at Serena with shocking and angry face.

"You did what!? Yugi probably left this thing at school. You'll go explaining to him when we find him. He could be in trouble!" She shouted at Joey.

"We're bet that means Ushio will be there too. Come on!" They run to the school. The school was empty and nobody there. But they heard groaning and thumping sound from the alley. They saw Ushio punching and kicking at Yugi and moved away from him.

 

"Yugi!" They cried.

"Well, looks like we have company." Ushio teased as he watching them running to Yugi. Serena was holding her cousin. He got more bruised on his face that made Tristan and Joey looked angry for what Ushio did to his buddy. Then two of them got up and fight at Ushio.

 

Serena found Yugi's Millennium Puzzle laid the ground. She then place the last piece in his hand and watching that Joey and Tristan got beat up again as they fainted the floor.

"No! Leave them alone!" She cried.

"I'll leave them alone, babe. But we are going to have some fun. Heh heh!" He cackled with lust in his eyes at her that made her frighten. She started to running away from him as he starting chasing her.

 

"Someone help me!" She cried for help. Then running to the school yard and hiding behind the tree. She could hear his running sound then fainted away. She sighing relived. However, she looked at sky and saw a light golden beam flew the sky then it was gone as she came out from hiding.

"What was that?" she said to herself, wondering. Then suddenly a big hand covering her mouth as she mumbling screaming and felt another arms wrapping around her wrist.

"Scream, you know what I'm about do to you like I did to your little friends especially your favorite cousin." Ushio whispering harsh to her eyes as she started to cried and afraid. He pushed her to the ground and lay on top of her as she cried. "Don't worry; it will be over soon, my sweet." He laughed evilly.

'Darien, why didn't you protect me? Oh! Someone, please help me!' She crying in her thought as Ushio was about to ripped her dress. When suddenly....

"Hey! It's time to play a game, Ushio!" They heard a mysterious voice from no where. Serena looked around and found no one then looked at Ushio. He hasn't moved an inch. She felt someone pulled her away from him as she looked at the person who saves her. The person was hiding in the shadow.

"Are you alright, Serena?" said the mysterious person.

"Yes, I'm fine... Hey! How do you know my name?" she asked.

"I overheard you about your wish from my lair. Now, look down." he commanded as she looked down, she's gasping and shocked. They were at top the pole tower as she felt the person holding her tightly. She found Ushio still unmoved was tied up with rope around his wrist just as he soon woke, he shocked and grabbing the rope as he looked down with terrified and shocking face.

"What the? How?" He shocked then looked up and spot her and mysterious person in the shadow.

 

Just then, Serena saw something glowing as person revealed himself as light were up. She shocked at this person. He looked like her cousin but only different. Same hair, his eyes were like evil narrow but the iris eye part were fully without pupil, and his mouth were grinning evil at Ushio. This person was like Dark Yugi or rather Yami-Yugi was born.
