Shadow Game: Card


Serena couldn't believe her very own eyes. Yugi or rather Dark Yugi was grinning evilly at Ushio as she felt his right arm wrapping her wrist like he was holding her.

"Let's play a game, Ushio. Winner get the money and this young girl's heart." Dark Yugi smirked.
"Heh! That's fine. I challenge your game." Ushio smirked back.
"This game was not just the game. It's Shadow Game." said Dark Yugi.

'Shadow Game? Is that what grandpa talking about? What is the shadow game and why Yugi or whoever he is challenge that bully?' she though. 'I never see him that he looks so clam and brave.'

"Before we begin the game; I'll explained the rules." Dark Yugi jumped the roof and slid down along with cards was stick to it and he stopped next far from Ushio. "The rule is very sample. Each of us picks up a card. The person climb up by numbers of paces you pick. And lasting, if the person climb all way up wins the game." Dark Yugi exampled.
"Ha! Interesting. Okay then, I'll go first." Ushio pick up the card and he got 10 diamonds as grinning evil. "Ha! Looks like I'm going up." He counted ten paces as Dark Yugi move down.
Then Dark Yugi picks the card as he grinned "Looks like I’ve got King or 13 Diamonds."
"What the?!" Ushio shocked as Dark Yugi moved high while Ushio moved down.

Serena pray Dark Yugi wins the match. Then the game still move on and suddenly she's surprised that she saw Yugi almost climb to her while Ushio was all the way down.

"This is your last Ushio. Last one." Dark Yugi told him.
"We'll just see about that." Ushio frowned as he pick the last card and look at it. He shocked. "Joker?!"
"Seem to me you got Joker or rather 0. That means you can't climb any steps so that's means...." Dark Yugi smirked as he picks the last card as well. Then he winked at Serena with smiled as she confused. "Ace of Diamond. I win."

Serena helps him climb up to her then she shocked and gasping when she saw Ushio was furious and climbs up.

"Look out!" Serena pushed him away from angry bully as Ushio missed and she fell as well with her cousin.
"So I see you don't follow the rules." said Dark Yugi.
Ushio cut the rope as he watch Dark Yugi and Serena falling and made him laughed evilly.
"At last. His money is mine!" Ushio got the money but it made him shocked again that he got cards instead. Then suddenly he started to fall as well. He saw Dark Yugi and Serena were survived as Yugi pin his Millennium Puzzle to wall with one hand while he holding her in his left arm.
"As you broke the rules or lost the game, the shadow game was opened." Ushio heard from Dark Yugi then saw he was falling to the water.
"Ha! It looks like I'll be fine." Ushio relieved then screamed when he saw three monsters appeared the water as he fell one of them in it’s mouth.

Serena saw him fall into the water when she heard screaming from him. Then suddenly Dark Yugi teleport them to the ground. She moved away from him.

"Who are you?" She asked. "You don't look like my cousin."
"No I'm not. But you don't have to be afraid of me." Dark Yugi told her.
"I'm not afraid. I'm just surprised that's all. But what's your name?" she asked him.
"You can call me Yami or Yami Yugi is fine since I look so much like him but different." he smiled.
"Okay...Yami Yugi. And thanks for saving me. But what's going to happened to Ushio?"
"Don't worry about him. He'll be fine in the morning. But we have to get your friends and your cousin to the hospital for treatment. In the meantime, you have to tell the principal about Ushio." Yami Yugi told her as she understood then went together to find Joey and Tristan.

Then later, Ushio's team found their boss trembling and crying on the ground at front of the school that morning.

Serena finally told the principal about what Ushio did to her cousin, Joey, and Tristan. Everyone spread the rumors that Ushio was taken to the hospital and also got expelled and arrested for what he done.

Serena and Yugi walked together toward their class. Yugi was very happy that his Millennium Puzzle was finally complete. Joey explained to Yugi for what he did, and then Yugi forgive him.

"Oh! Serena, I've forgot about the riddle I’ve told you. 'Something you can see, but you can't see'." Yugi told her.
'I still don't know that riddle. What does it mean?' She thoughts.
"Give up. It's Friendship. Joey, Tristan, and I thanking you for help us and be friend to us." said Yugi.
"Aww! That's so sweet of you and your friends. And your welcome." she smiled as they walked to together in class. 'And I also thank you Yami-Yugi for be there with us and be our friend too.' she smiled.
