Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ A True Friend ❯ The Fair ( Chapter 3 )

I suppose it was a few days later that I woke up. My head was
throbbing. I looked up to see the other two Androids over me. I could
not stand these two. But, I had to play the part in spite of my hatred
for them.
"What happened?" I asked. Junana looked at me.
"We almost killed the boy and then you shut down." He said. I got up
and held onto a tree. If I were still human I would have...'lost my
lunch' for lack of better words.
"Ohh..." I moaned. This was not my day. My cousin was missing, I was
kidnaped, and to top it all off I get turned into one of...THEM.
"Well, now that she's awake she can try on these cute outfits I picked
out for her." Juhachi said. Obviously, She didn't know of my low
tolerence for dresses.
"Um...Juhachi?" I asked sweetly, which was not me at all. I don't do
sweetly. I don't do nice either.
"Yes?" She asked back. I scooted backwards towards Junana.
"Forget it..." I said. I grabbed Junana's arm and flew off with him. I
admit it. Though I was an Android like them, I didn't want to mess
with an angry female. Believe me. I knew many women who can be worse
than Androids.
"Where are we going?" Junana asked.
"Far far from her and her dresses." I responded. He let out a small
chuckle. I looked back at him confused.
"Finally. I have someone to help me critisize her taste of fashion."
He said to me. I smiled.
"I've never been a fan of shopping." I told him. We flew for hours
until we came across a fair. I pointed at it. Junana took one look and
had a disgusted look across his face.
"There are humans down there." He stated. I started toward it, until
he grabbed my leg.
"Either you take me to the fair Junana or I'm letting Juhachi take you
shopping again." I warned. He thought his earlier action over and let
go of me.
"Good." I replied and headed for the fair. He followed. I'm not sure
if it was out of his own will or not. Oh well. I loved fairs. My
earliest memory of one was when I was much smaller. About three
perhaps. It was in America. I was visiting my cousin. My cousin? Did
I...have a cousin? I stopped in the air. Junana looked back at me,
rather concerned. We were very far from Juhachi, and if I were
shutting down again it could prove fatal.
"Are you okay?" He asked. My mind raced. My cousin...how long ago did
I see her off? How long had it been? Hours? Weeks? Years? Where did I
send her? I doubled over in pain. God! The pain burned in my stomach.
Perhaps...perhaps the reason was I was fighting this. Fighting my
fate. I felt ready to explode. What was happening to me! The horrid
pain subsided, leaving a a slight cramp. I suppose my body hasn't
fully accepted the parts. I shook the feeling off and flew towards the
fair again. Junana hesitated a moment and followed. We landed in the
middle of the fair ground as no one was looking.
"Sugoi! I LOVE fairs!" I said happily. Junana looked disgusted. I ran
to the nearest ride. A favorite of mine. He slowly followed. I
searched my favorite jacket for my wrist band that I had bought a week
ago. I slipped it on and went into the ride. Junana waited outside.
The Tilt-A-Whirl. It was my favorite ride. As a child it was the only
ride I wasn't afraid of. I waited in a spot, and noticed a familiar
figure. The boy. It was that same boy. He obviously didn't reccognize
me, or he hid it quite well. There were many more people entering the
ride, so I acted quickly. I moved from my spot, and got next to him.
It was never to late to appoloigize, was it? He became quite nervous.
A quick scan reveiled that his breathing had become quite rapid. His
heart rate went up sharply as well. He reccognized me. I almost killed
him. I felt guilty. I stood against the wall next to him.
"Hello. What's your name?" I asked, putting on my most polite smile.
GOD that was hard. As I mentioned earlier, I never did 'polite' or
'nice'. Those words were not in my book. Everything else under the sun
were, but not those two. He didn't respond.
"Chatty, aren't we?" I asked. He gulped audibly. The ride started.
"I'm...I'm...T...Trunks..." He said. I smiled again.
"It's a nice name. I'm Nijuichi. I...used to be Terreina." I replied.
His breathing went back down to normal. I sighed. Appologies weren't
my speciality one bit.
"I'm sorry for earlier." I admitted. He blinked, confused. His face
was rather cute.
"I didn't mean to hurt you. I honestly tried to stop, but then...I
felt something. It hurt. It hurt like the pain I was put through as a
child. The pain of losing my family." I admitted again. He sighed. In
relief.
"It's all right Miss. Terrina." He told me. I smiled. I laid back, and
enjoyed the rest of my ride, guilt free.
