"Is it you? How can it be you? You said you couldn't come with us!"

"I promised Abby something..."

"You love her, don't you?"

"WELL, STOP SPOUTING POETRY AND COME ON!!" Karen yelled as she grabbed Jake's arm.

"Where are we going???"

"Abby needs you!!!"

Jake walked into Abby's room, seeing her on the bed, staring at nothing...

"Abby?" he asked gently.

"Jake? Is that you? Are you really here?" she asked after a moment of seeing him.

"It's me."

"JAKE!" Abby yelled, her eyes full of tears. She clung to him, never wanting to let go.

"I told you everything would be okay... I love you Abby..." he whispered in her ear as he hugged her tightly.
