Episode 6

AN: Here I go, writing my first disclaimer ^^;;;, I seem to have a problem of forgetting to write one!! Okay, um, GW belongs to Sunrise, me thinks, Naoko Takeuchi owns Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, I own Meiunko and Shigai, Ami's grandmother and this plot, etc. And I only have a couple of pieces of paper (probably used), a few pencils and a few cents, so if you were to sue, you'd be in worse debt then I am :D

After dinner, but before Setsuna and Michiru finished the dishes, there was yet another power outage. While Haruka went around, cursing the wind, rain, and lack of energy, Hiiro emerged from his bedroom, having no laptop to occupy him. Since there were no lights and it was too hot to have a fire, everyone sat in the living room complaining about the weather.
"I want to go to bed." Michiru said, frowning.
"Really?" Haruka asked, sitting up.
"I mean, go to sleep, Haruka, you hentai." Michiru said, having a look of disgust on her face. Hotaru giggled a little, and sat down on the floor near Setsuna.
"Well, thank you, everyone, for your effort on your rooms today." Quatre said.
"No problem, Q-man! Everything went as planned!" Duo yelled.
"What are you talking about?" Minako said, Duo only shrugged.
"I don't know, it just seemed like a good thing to say at the time."
"Well, oyasumi nasai (Well, good night)." Hotaru said, and got up.
"It's only 8:00, Hotaru, is something bothering you?" Usagi asked from her place on the couch next to Mamoru.
"Iie!" Hotaru said with a frown.
"Then stay, Hotaru-chan!" Chibiusa said, she got up and pulled Hotaru over to where she was sitting by Meiunko. "Are you excited about tomorrow?" Chibiusa whispered to both Hotaru and Meiunko. Meiunko nodded, and Hotaru shrugged a little. Social functions just weren't very special to her.
"Don't worry, Hotaru-chan, this is going to be fun," Ami said, and smiled at her, just then, the lights returned.
"That wasn't so long." Quatre said, and smiled. Suddenly, a phone was heard ringing. Everyone looked around.
"I didn't know there was a phone in this house, Ami." Michiru said, as everyone got up to find the source of the ring.
"Grandma's always had one...but who could be calling?"
"I found it!" Hotaru yelled, and picked lt up. "Hello?"
"Hello, may I please speak to Hiiro Yui or Quatre Raberba Winner?" A man's voice said on the other line. Hotaru frowned.
"Hold on." She said. She put down the phone. "It's for you." She pointed to Hiiro. He looked at Duo who was nearest to him, and shrugged, picking the phone off the table where Hotaru had left it.
"Hello?"
"Is this Hiiro Yui?"
"Who is this?"
"My name is Dr. Spyndell, Hiiro, and I have some valuable information for you and the other Gundam Pilots."
"How did you--" Hiiro started, then looked around, and stepped back a little, and lowered his voice. "How did you know that we were Gundam Pilots?"
"I know lots of things, but I need your help...the Earth Sphere Nation could be in danger."
"If you were really concerned, you would call the Affairs Headquarters."
"No! I would, but they wouldn't believe me...and I know that you have people there that can help us. This man...his name is...King something...he has a plantation, and he's trying to take over the world. Not only with mobile suits, but with power...some kind of power..."
"Are you insane?" Hiiro asked very calmly, almost like he was joking, which, he was not.
"Of course not...just hear me out, here!"
"Look, I dont' have time for stories. Call the Affairs Headquarters, leave us alone or..." Hiiro looked around, at the others who just continue to stare at him. Relena is on the edge of her seat...she knew what was coming... "Omae o korosu." Hiiro hung up the phone.
"Who was that?" Duo asked.
"Wrong number."
"It was a awfully long conversation for a wrong number, do you always threaten people over the phone?" Hotaru said, her arms folded.
"I'll tell you about it later,"
"Does that mean what I think it means?" Duo said, looking between Hiiro and Hotaru.
"I don't know what you think it means, but probably not." Hotaru said, and turned around. "Goodnight."

...Though Hotaru and Hiiro don't appear to like each other, they have an understanding that I can't put my finger on. Could Hotaru possibly know our secret? And if so, how did she find out? I know Hiiro would never tell a civilian about us. And that thought makes me wonder as well...are these girls really civilians? Ami hasn't told me anything about her past, and I want to know much more. But I'm afraid if I know about her, she'll want to know about me... (AN: Can't you guess? It's totally Quatre...)

When Hiiro returned to his room later that night, it was late, and also dark. As Duo walked past his room, he shouted a greeting, but Hiiro only muttered something about crazy scientists. Hiiro flipped on his light, and immediately saw Hotaru sitting in the only chair in his room. He frowned,
"How long have you been here?"
"Only a few minutes. It took me quite awhile to realize that you weren't going to tell me anything unless I came and pulled it out of you. You really should trust me."
"Why? I don't even trust Quatre sometimes."
"Who would? Look, I'm not here to fight with you." Hotaru said, her eyes following Hiiro's movements as he sat on his bed. "I know you're not going to tell me anything else unless I tell you something, right?"
"Now that you mention it, no." Hiiro said, wondering if he was going to get more then he bargained for.
"Well, what do you want to know? I told you about me...I found out about you..."
"You wouldn't have found out about me if you hadn't gone snoop--"
"And you wouldn't have been told about me if you hadn't been playing spy." Hotaru said, countering Hiiro with a frown.
"Why do you play this game with me?"
"I'm not playing a game, this is how I am." Hotaru said, and sat down by Hiiro.
"That isn't what I meant..." Hiiro said, and looked up. Purple orbs met prussian blue pools, and Hiiro and Hotaru held each others gaze for a few moments.
"I...I know that"
"I know you know that,"
"I know...stop it." Hotaru said, and Hiiro cracked a smile that lit up his face. Why is he smiling? "Are you going to tell me who was on the phone or not?" She asked, but her mind wasn't really on the question.
"No." He said, and Hotaru frowned.
"Fine." She said, and got up. "Is it just that you can't trust me?" She asked, and walked to the door. "I thought you had gotten past that borderline." And she walked out.
I think I'm falling into you...

Usagi woke up the next morning earlier then usual. She supposed it was the excitement that had gotten to her, but part of her just wanted to be alone. She walked out into the kitchen where WuFei was sitting at the island on a bar stool in his pajamas. "Good morning, WuFei-kun." Usagi said, and got a glass of milk for herself. She pulled out a chair and sat down across from WuFei.
"Good morning." WuFei said.
"Aren't we in a good mood today?"
"What are you talking about, onna?"
"Oh, never mind, Wu." Usagi said, and sighed. She had a lot of things on her mind lately.
"Is there something you want to talk about or something?" WuFei said with raised eyebrows.
"Why? Do I act like it?" Usagi said, sitting up with a disturbed look on her face.
"There is something, isn't there?"
"Have you ever loved someone so much that you just feel that you can't love them anymore?"
"No." Wufei said in monotone, he had never been in true love.
"Oh...then I guess you couldn't help me,"
"Try me." Wufei said, Usagi sighed, debating internally on weather or not she should tell WuFei about them.
"It's a really long story..."
"I'm not doing anything else,"
"Okay..." Usagi said, and sighed. Then she began from when she first met Luna, and told WuFei the whole story, everything. When she was done, she looked at WuFei, hoping that he wouldn't be too phased. His face was unreadable. "Well?"
"Well, that's not completely unbelievable..." WuFei said, thinking of some of the things that he'd done.
"Really? You believe me?" Usagi asked with wide eyes, WuFei nodded a little.

Hotaru got up and mentally kicked herself. She had never felt the need to know something so much before. It's not that Hotaru was a selfish person, but when she didn't find out things she wanted to know, she found other ways of getting at them. She hated questions that went un answered, it was like a tag game that she could never win. Who was on that Goddamn phone? Why do I care so much?

Once everyone had awoken (Duo last, of course), the day went on quite normally until about 3:00 in the afternoon.
"Quatre, what time did we have to be at the party?" Minako asked,
"Well, it starts at 5:00, and that's when all the guests should be arriving, but, I do have to be there early, in case anyone shows up early. I'm having limousines come and pick you all up, but you'll have to decide weather or not you want to come early or on time..."
"What time are you leaving, Quatre?" Ami asked, "I'll go with you, if that would be all right."
"That will be fine, I'm leaving at 4:00, the limousines for everyone else will be here at 4:30."
"Okay, I'll go and see if anyone else wants to go early," Ami said, and left the living room area to find the other house guests.

After Ami had searched the house of all it's keepers, she had little data to present to Quatre.
"They all want to go on time. Even Hiiro seemed enthusiatic about leaving at the regular time."
"Well, Hiiro is busy making his files safe on his laptop. He wants as much time as possible to work."
"Why?" Ami asked,
"I guess someone got into his files or something, I'm sure he made sure it won't happen again, however." Quatre said, Ami looked a little amused.
"Well, I'm going to get ready, see you in a couple of hours, Quatre." Ami said, and headed in the direction of her room. I wonder who went into Hiiro's files...what's in there that they wanted to find out?

Rei walked into the kitchen, she had to make this quick because she had to get ready for the party. But she had the perfect thing to say to Usagi, she just hoped that she was still there. And there she was, sitting at the table, eating an apple--perfect.
"Usagi...you may not want to eat that." Rei said, Usagi stopped in mid chew. A look of horror came over her face.
"Why not?"
"Because it's healthy, you might actually get something good into that body of yours."
"That wasn't very nice," Usagi said and pouted.
"Get over it, Usagi-chan, I thought it was funny." Chibiusa said, "You'd better hurry up, or you won't have time to prepare for the party."
"Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that party..." Usagi said and got a dreamy look in her eyes. "It will be so romantic...maybe Mamoru and I can work out some of the differences we've been having lately..."
"You and Mamoru have been having problems?" Both Chibiusa and Rei said at the same time. Usagi nodded a little. "I think..."
"What?"
"That we don't have the same thing that we had once...I know that deep down inside myself, if I look really hard...I can find that I love him...but it gets harder and harder each time I look." Usagi said, and looked down at her hands. Chibiusa got a frightened look, if Usagi and Mamoru didn't exist...neither would she...

"Usagi, don't worry about it...if Mamoru doesn't like you because of the dress you're wearing, then you shouldn't be with him at all...you certainly are being paranoid all of a sudden...what's wrong with you?" Minako asked, straightening Usagi's dress (which closely resembled that of Princess Serenity's).
"I don't know what it is, Minako. Thank you for your help."
"Well, it's not like you needed it, you're looking quite beautiful. Now hurry up, the limos are due here any minute!" Minako said, and hurried out. She bumped into Duo on the way, who was wearing a black suit.
"Woa there...don't you look nice?" He said, eyeing Minako. She curtsied for him and they parted.

"Yo! Hiiro buddy! Time to get in the yellow cheesewagon...also known as the limo...only it's not yellow or made of cheese..." Duo said, peeking his head into Hiiro's room. Hiiro was, luckily, all ready to go, but still had his eyes glued to his laptop.
"Dude...we're on vacation...Sally Po said you didn't have to do any work all summer!"
"I'm not doing work, Duo." Hiiro said, and turned off his computer. He was wearing a black suit, which varied a little from Duo's.
"Oh yeah?" Duo asked, closing Hiiro's door behind them. "What're you doing?"
"..." Silence was his only answer. Duo didn't expect anything more, of course. He knew from experience that whenyou meddled in Hiiro's affairs, you usually wouldn't find anything out. Duo shrugged and they walked into the entryway.

On the main staircase going down, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Hotaru and Chibiusa walked carefully into the entryway where the guys and Haruka were waiting impatiently for them. Rei was wearing a red summer party dress; Makoto was wearing a forest green skirt and a white blouse; Minako was wearing a spaghetti-strap summer dress; Hotaru was wearing a white spaghetti strap dress that reached to the floor, trimmed with purple, and Chibiusa was wearing a dress almost exactly like Usagi's.
"Are you ready, Usako?" Mamoru asked Usagi, and he offered her his arm. Usagi nodded.
"Where are the others?" Rei asked, referring to Setsuna, Meiunko, Haruka, Michiru and Relena.
"They are waiting for us outside." Trowa said, Duo opened the door and they walked out. They were immediately greeted with the familiar sight of the circle driveway, but now there were three black limousines parked in it.
"Rei, Makoto, Trowa, Minako and myself can take the first limo, Usagi, Mamoru, Hiiro, Relena and Chibiusa can take the second limo, Hotaru, Michiru, Setsuna, Meiunko and Duo can take the last limo." WuFei said, and folded his hands. A loud burst of complaints and suggested improvements followed, and everyone ended up choosing their own limo, which left Usagi, Mamoru, Wufei, Chibiusa and Meiunko in a limo, Rei, Minako, Duo, Trowa and Makoto in a limo, and Relena, Hiiro, Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru in a limo.

It wasn't the most joyous ride for everyone in the pack.

WuFei complained of being in a limo with only women, therefor insulting Mamoru.
"I am not a woman,"
"Could've fooled me," WuFei said, not even looking at Mamoru, but looking out the shaded window.
"You're always talking about justice, how do you expect there to be justice if you are unjust yourself!? Justice is nothing, obviously, to you."
"Injustice that you speak to me this way, you dishonorable piece of a man! You treat your love like she doesn't exist for a week and you think that you are justful and have honor yourself? I think not!"
"Mamoru, you are a hypocrite." Usagi said,
"What are you talking about?" Mamoru looked at her,
"You talk about justice all the time! All your speeches and stuff! At least WuFei has a reason for his..." Usagi said, and then turned to WuFei. "You do have a good reason, don't you?" She whispered, WuFei nodded, but Mamoru seemed unfazed.
"Usagi, you have turned so disrespectful towards me this summer."
"I lost my respect for you the moment you lost respect for me, Mamo-chan." Usagi said, her voice barly holding up. Chibiusa looked horrified, and kept looking between Usagi and Mamoru. What's going on...?

When the limousines finally pulled up by Quatre's mansion, Haruka was the first one out of her limio (She had crawled over Relena and Setsuna to get to the door first, screaming 'Let me out!'); Minako was the first out of her limo (saying something about being 'claustrophobic'); and Usagi opened her door, got out, and shut it in Mamoru's face, then ran off to catch up with Rei.

When everyone reached the door, Quatre spotted them at once, and guided his new friends over to meet some of the other people who had been invited to his party. "Feel free to walk around and speak to anyone you like." He said, and Haruka put her hands on Usagi's shoulders and steered her off into the crowd. Hotaru and Setsuna followed, and so did Rei.
"What's wrong, Koneko-chan?" Haruka asked, Usagi looked at her.
"Nothing, Haruka. I'm fine." She said. Hotaru frowned.
"Tell us." Hotaru said, and Usagi looked at Setsuna who just stared back at her.
"Mamoru isn't the same person I used to know...he's changed. I know we're destined to be together, but I don't know how."
"You cannot plan the future by the past, Usagi." Setsuna said, Usagi looked at her,
"Uh, yeah." Said Haruka, trying to be resourceful, "Life is what you make of it...kinda like Play-Doh." She said, Hotaru looked at her.
"But in the future..." Usagi continued,
"The future is only what you make it. I told you that once before."
"What has he done to make you feel this way?" Michiru asked,
"He's been rude, and he ignores me when I speak to him. He only speaks to me when he really wants to."
"Rudeness is the weak mans imitation of strength." WuFei said, he had been standing behind them. Usagi turned around and nodded. "Do you want to tell me about your future?" WuFei said, and held out his hand for her to take it, it was more of a demand then a request. Usagi nodded again and took WuFei's hand. Hotaru and Setsuna exchanged glances, and WuFei and Usagi disappeared into the crowd.

"Ami, I would like you to meet Lady Une and Miss Sally Po" Quatre said, introducing Ami to Lady Une and Sally, who were dressed for the occasion.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ami." Sally said, and held out her hand to shake Ami's.
"Yes, and you as well." Ami said, shaking her hand. Quatre smiled,
"It appears that everyone has run off," Quatre said, looking around for the other ex-pilots and Senshi. They were nowhere to be seen.
"How is everyone? I hope that Hiiro hasn't been working on his summer off," Sally said, and smiled.
"No, he hasn't. He's been spending a lot of the time trying to avoid Relena, though, I'm afraid." Quatre said, "That's probably what he's doing right now, in fact." Sally nodded.
"How is WuFei? Not giving anyone any trouble I hope."
"No, everyone's fine, Sally." Quatre said, as Lady Une accepted a glass of champagne from a waiter, Quatre waved his offered glass away. "Ami, would you like to dance?" He asked, and Ami nodded,
"I would, thank you."

"Minako-chan, you're a pretty good dancer," Duo said, he and Minako were dancing together.
"You're not so bad yourself." Minako said.
"Hah, you're lucky, Sometimes I have a difficult time handling myself in social situations. I just start scampering around neurotically, frantically jumping all over guests. I think it all goes back to when I was raised in the wild by miniature schnauzers."
"You are too strange, Duo."
"Yeah, well, sanity isn't one of my strong points." Duo said, and Minako laughed.

"I'm going to go dance with Trowa while Usagi's dancing with WuFei, so when she comes back I'll be here." Rei said to Haruka, Hotaru and Setsuna. They nodded.
"Well, I'm going to find Michi," Haruka said, and disappeared.
"Setsuna, what's going to happen to Chibiusa if Mamoru and Usagi don't get married?"
"I don't know, Hime-chan," Setsuna said, and shook her head.
"I have to talk to you," Hiiro said, and put his hand on Hotaru's shoulder, "about the phone call." Hotaru spun around.
"What is with you guys and speaking to people's backs?" She said, Hiiro looked a little confused, but still held Hotaru's eyes.
"Come with me..."
"O-okay," Hotaru said, and followed Hiiro out onto the floor. She put her hands on his shoulders and they danced for a few moments before Hiiro spoke again.
"He said his name was Dr. Spyndell, and he said that there was a man who was using a plantation for something, he rebuilt mobile suits, he also said that he was using some sort of power to take over the world."
"Some sort of power?" Hotaru asked, thinking a few moments, possibly the sort of power that the Sailor Senshi possessed?
"I think he's just a lunatic. There's no way that someone could have a plantation with mobile suits anywhere on Earth, the Government goes around checking for those things."
"Well, he probably won't call again, not after you told him that you'd kill--" But Hotaru was cut off by a huge gust of wind inside the mansion. People got quiet, and the music stopped. All attention was focused on a woman in a black dress who was standing on a chair. She held some sort of mechanical device...she was unlocking it with a key..."Get down minna-san!" Hotaru yelled, and seconds after she and Hiiro ducked to the ground a huge blast went off.
"What the hell was that?!" Hiiro asked, looking around at the fallen people.
"A shockwave device...I recognized it from my fathers lab. I have to go!" Hotaru said, and Hiiro pulled out his gun. Before he could say anything, she was gone.

"Usagi-chan! Quickly, we have to heshin!" Rei yelled, and grabbed Usagi's hand, they both ran into a vacant room, Michiru, Haruka and the other senshi ran in after them.
"Moon Eternal...Make-up!"
"Mars Crystal Power...Make-up!"
"Jupiter..."
"Venus..."
"Matte!" Chibiusa yelled. "It's not working!" She pulled out her own heshin wand, "Moon Crystal Power Make-up!" When nothing happened, she threw her heshin stick on the ground. "Why isn't it working?!" She yelled, just then, Meiunko ran in, Shigai on her shoulder.
"Minna-san! You have to trust me, I need to give you new power so you can defeat the enemy!" Everyone stared at her.
"What will happen to you?" Chibiusa asked,
"It doesn't matter, I'm known as the sacrificial child of hope...let me help you!" She yelled. Usagi nodded.
"You have to trust us, minna-san." Shigai said, and jumped onto the floor. Meiunko begun to glow with a white light, and it transferred into everyone's bodies. On the ground, Chibiusa's heshin wand transformed into a brooch. With a shimmer, the light went out, and Meiunko and Shigai disappeared, in their place stood a teenage boy with messy silver hair and gold eyes. The senshi opened their eyes, and everyone took a step back.
"Don't fear me, minna-san, it is I, Shigai. I no longer have the power to maintain my animal form, so I must once again, return to my human form. You must heshin, a new evil is here, and it does not want to wait...it as after the Moon Princess!"
"Aren't they always?" Usagi asked, Rei gave her a critical look. Chibiusa picked up her new brooch from the floor.
"Moon cosmic power...make-up!"
"Cosmos power...make-up!" Usagi yelled, following Chibiusa.
"Mars cosmic power make-up!"
"Mercury cosmic power make-up!"
"Jupiter cosmic power...make-up!"
"Venus cosmic power make up!"
"Pluto cosmic power make up!"
"Uranus cosmic power...make up!"
"Neptune cosmic power...make up!"
"Saturn cosmic power make up!"
And as every last senshi transformed, in the places of Chibiusa, Usagi, Rei, Ami, Makoto, Minako, Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru stood Sailors Star Moon, Cosmos, Star Mars, Star Mercury, Star Jupiter, Star Venus, Senshi Pluto, Star Uranus, Star Neptune and Imperial Sailorsaturn.
"Come on, Minna-san!" Sailorcosmos yelled, and ran out, her white heels clicking on the marbled floor. When they reached the room, the ex-pilots spun around, and made eye contact with each senshi.
"In the name of the cosmos! I am Sailorcosmos defender and champion of justice! I will punish you!" Sailorcosmos yelled and pointed at the woman in the dress, who was still standing on the chair. Apparently she had been waiting for them to return.
"In the name of the new moon I am Sailor Starmoon! I will punish and triumph over evil!"
"In the name of the god of war, Mars, I am Sailor Starmars, and I will vanquish you!"
"Starmercury! In the name of justice, I will punish evil!"
"In the name of thunder and all that is good, Starjupiter!"
"In the name of love and the goddess of Venus, I am Starvenus! And in the name of all that is good, I will punish you!"
"In the name of justice, I am Tuxedo Kamen!"
"In the name of the dead planet, Pluto, I am Senshipluto and I will punish you!"
"Invented by a new power, we are Sailors Staruranus and Starneptune!"
"Protected by the planet of ruin, Saturn, I hold the protection of death and destruction! I am Imperial Sailorsaturn, and you will feel my wrath!" Though the ex-pilots looked impressed by their little speeches and introductions, the lady did not. She gave her auburn hair a flip and smoothed out her black dress in annoyance.
"Now that that is all said and done...I am Thief#1, pleased to meet you, now give me your souls!" She yelled, and pulled out a device that looked much like a gun, she pointed it at Sailorcosmos, and prepared to fire.

AN: That was *WAY* long. Boy, I'm tired now. I thought I'd leave you with a cliffhanger. I think the introductions were a little corny, but I thought Meiunko and Shigai giving up their power was an original idea ^_^. If you guys don't review, I don't write! I thrive on reviews, so *please* review!
