Opening Scene

This is the opening scene of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon G! This happens before EVERY episode, but I just decided to put it here so you won't have to read through it every time. Kay guys, I know that you can't see the screen, or know where the 'camera'/view is, but I'll try to do my best for you! So just bear with me, okay? The song you are 'hearing' is 'Moonlight Destiny' From the end of the S movie. It's the Japanese version first, so if you want the English version, scroll down until you get 'English' in bold letters. I just thought that the Japanese version would be more effective!! Anyway, it's sung by Asakawa Hiroko just in case you were wondering!! Lyrics are in Italics.

We see Sailorpluto standing with the time staff, she's alone at the Gates of Time, and she looks very sad. As if a sudden idea pops into her head, she closes the gates and disappears from our view. The 'camera' zooms in on the Gates and the picture is lost in the swirls of time.


Hitoke nai umi ni yoru ga orite kite saisho no hoshi
Kore wa tsuki kara todoku magic


Michiru sits out by the ocean with her Aqua Mirror, and looks into it, trying to find the truth of the sea, and the place that she sits. She is alone, and it's night, the only light is the moonlight that shines down on her, catching the waves of the ocean. Haruka comes up behind her and puts a hand on her shoulder.

Usagi is sitting in a bedroom on a bed, looking at an old picture album. Mamoru comes up to her and sits down beside her and follows her gaze. Usagi laughs out loud, and the camera zooms in on the picture Usagi had been looking at. It was a picture of Mamoru that Ami had taken, he was getting bombarded by Chibiusa and Usagi. Mamoru laughs, sweat-drops and hugs Usagi.


Itsu made mo dare yori mo soba ni itai no

The 'camera' leaves through the open window, where a light breeze is tugging at the drapes, and travels through the night and out to sea. When it reaches that far, it speeds up, turning around, and returns, but to a different part of the house. We catch a glimpse of the outside, and see that the house is a beautiful white mansion. Once inside, we see Minako sitting at a table playing cards with Chibiusa and who we know now as Duo. Minako shows Duo her cards and he falls over in his chair, only a large sweat-drop in his place. Minako's deck shows a straight of hearts.

The 'camera' leaves Minako, Duo and Chibiusa, and instead travels down hallways to a study, where Ami is sitting alone reading a book. The 'camera' 'flies' around her like a bee and then flies out the open window to get a better view of Ami and also the person sitting next to her. But, Ami turns the light off before we can get a good view, and before we know it, we're above the ocean again.

The scene flashes and for a brief moment we see WuFei in pajamas eating what looks like Corn flakes. But when the 'camera' returns to WuFei, he is fully dressed sitting at a table, talking to Usagi. She laughs a little, good-natured, at WuFei's efforts not to insult her. Wufei gets frustrated and then laughs himself, the camera leaves the two laughing at each other for no apparent reason at all.

The 'camera' blacks out, and for a moment we are left in darkness. Then, a single spotlight comes on, and Sailorsaturn is standing with the Silence Glaive, alone. She isn't dressed in her traditional Super Sailorsaturn uniform, this one is different. From the shadows, a man's hand reaches out and grabs Saturn's free one. The 'camera' circles around, trying to get a better view, but Saturn steps back into the shadows, pulled in the direction of the person. Before coming into complete darkness, she smiles a little.


Tomadoi mo setsunasa mo koete ikeru to
Mune wa mou shinjite iru anata to nara


The 'camera' leaves the previous scene, and we see Chibiusa, Makoto, Relena, and another girl, Meiunko. They are sitting by a fountain, no one is talking. The scene flashes, and Makoto and Chibiusa are replaced with Sailorjupiter and Sailor Chibi-moon. Relena and Meiunko are gone.

Rei is sitting by the scared fire by herself, in her priestess robes. In the fire, we can se the forms of five people, but they can't be distinguished. Rei gets up, wipes her forehead, and walks to the window, where the moon is shining brightly. We hear footsteps, and Rei turns to look on the porch. There we can see the silhouette of a man...


Hohoemi mo kanashimi mo wakeaeru ne to

The whole is ended with a finale of the title in purple. Japanese characters saying 'Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon G' flash across the screen. Under it, in English, cursive words say the same thing. In the background is a starry sky, mountains and the ocean. The scene blinks out.
