Closing Scene

This is the closing scene for BSSM, it comes after every episode when the credits are rolling. The song is Last Impression from Gundam Wing. Like I said with the opening scene, there are no cameras, no views, etc. but I'll try to make it as 'illustrated' as possible. So, enjoy. Oh, one more thing, the English version of the song is down...you know, English in bold letters...anyway, and the lyrics are in Italics.

Hito wa minna ikiteyukeru ...
Mayowazu ni jiyuu ni

(Credits are rolling to the right, they give disclaimers, seiyuu, character design and story/plot creators.) We see Hotaru sitting in an armchair, reading a book. She glances up and looks at something we can't see, but soon returns her attention to the book. A few seconds later, her eyes are back on the second subject. She scowls a little, but then stops, her face gets a blank expression, and her features soften as she smiles. She gets up, puts her book down, and goes out of the scene in the general direction she was looking. The scene fades, and we loose the empty chair.

The scene lights up again, and instead of us seeing Hotaru in the room, we see Usagi. She's sitting by WuFei, and it looks like she suckered him into playing cards. She draws from the pile, shouts for joy (though we can't hear her words), and hugs WuFei quickly. He looks amazed at her, but Usagi is unaffected by his look, and continues on by showing him her cards. He scratches his head while looking at the cards, but then shrugs, shuffles the cards, and deals them out again. The scene blinks out.

Arasoiau dake ja
Erarenai dare mo ... nani mo
Osanai te ni sashinobetai ...
Kegare no nai tokimeki wo

When the scene comes clear again, we see Ami and Quatre sitting on the floor, watching TV. We can only see their backs, but Ami's head is rested on Quatre's shoulder. As the music plays on, they continue to sit like this until the scene fades out again.

Komorebi no nukumori ...
Dare mo ga idakaretai
Zutto kitto eien ni ...!!

Now we're outside. Setsuna is sitting on the patio drinking tea and watching Michiru and Haruka down at the beach. The waters are clear, and Haruka runs after Michiru, splashing her. Setsuna looks up at the sun, smiles, and checks her watch. She sighs and takes another sip of her tea. Gulls fly by, and the 'camera' leaves Setsuna, following them.

Minako and Duo are standing on the balcony when we (or shall I say the gulls) find them. Minako smiles, laughs a little, and grabs Duo's hand, and points to something in the sky. Duo looks up, laughs a little and tweaks Minako's nose. She puts on her angry face, and punches him in the shoulder. Duo grabs his shoulder and hops around for a few minutes, Minako laughs at him, and the 'camera' zooms in on Duo's black shirt, making us be lost in total black.

SO FAR AWAY

Makoto is sitting on her bed, and we can see her gazing out the window, a smile playing on her lips. She stays that way for a few peaceful moments, and soon, a hand is put on her shoulder. She turns around, but by that time, the 'camera' has zoomed in on the scenery outside. The camera goes outside for a brief second, and then we see Rei sitting in her room writing in her diary. The 'camera' zooms in on the page she's writing on, and we see words printed across the screen: Owari. And under them, are the words: (The End)

Daiji na hito no tame ni nagasu namida ... itami ga ...
Sekai wo tsuranuki ...
Daichi wo nurasu ...
Kono kanashimi wo tometai!!
