Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ Changing Serena ❯ the breakup ( Chapter 1 )

HI! I'm Miss Videl! This is my second SM fic but I only wrote the first one today too! Be nice! Sorry Darien/Serena fans. It's going to be Serena/SHDGLSHAJJ sorry, can't tell you. You will figure it out anywaz though. I thought I made it obvious. Review at the end!

Serena was walking slowly home. Her mind was only what Darien had just told her

~*~FLASHBACK~*~

"Serena,"

"Yes Darien?"
"I think it is time that we see other people."

"What are you talking about?"

"We are no longer seeing each other is what I'm talking about."

~*~FLASHFORWARD~*~

Serena wasn't crying. She only had one thought in her mind. `I'll prove it to Darien that this is his worst mistake in his life.'

The next morning, Serena woke up the first time her alarm rang. She got up, took a shower, and did her hair. Not in the traditional buns, but in tinny braids. She looked at her clothes and said to herself "These are too childish. Good thing I have a uniform that I have to wear."

Serena went downstairs just as her mother was saying. "She turned off her alarm instead of pressing snooze again… SERENA! You are awake!"

"Yes mom, can I have breakfast?"

"Sure dear!"

She ate then cleared everyone's plates for them, and washed them. She packed her own lunch and looked at the clock to see that she still had a half hour.

"I'm on my way to school now!"

There was a chorus of byes, then she went to school. She was one of the few people their. She went to her class and sat down. Her teacher looked at her like she was dreaming. Then she asked, "Serena, are you feeling alright?"

"Yes! Thanks for asking!" She sat down and brought out a piece of paper and started writing on it.

"Serena, what are you doing?" asked Molly?

"Homework, Molly, how do you do this?"

Molly explained the problem and then after the work was done, started in conversation

"So, Serena, why did you change your hair?"

"I thought I was getting old for the same style I always had."

"Oh. I know what you are talking about. I did that 3 years ago remember?"

"Yes!"

Then Melvin popped in.

"Molly dearest! Who is the new girl sitting in Serena's seat?"

"Melvin! Don't you recognize Serena?" said Molly while laughing

"What??? You have got to be kidding me!"

"It is true! I'm Serena!"

"Class! If you would take your seats, I will start class!"

So class began. Miss Haruna kept watching Serena during class. Not once did she fall asleep or even eat in class. Math, Science, and History went by and nothing happened. It was time for lunch when Miss Haruna asked Serena to wait. She agreed.

"Serena, I can't help but wonder about you. It seems that you changed as a person."

"I know. Last night I was looking about my life and everything seems to babyish, so I'm changing."

"I would also like to say that you got a 85% on your Science test."

"Thank you"

"Now go have your lunch."

Later that day, Serena bought all new clothes with all the money she could. Then she went through some at home and sold them at a second hand store then bought more there. She left to go to the arcade before a scout meeting. She put money in her favorite Sailor V game and played 3 times. She walked out and went to Raye's temple ignoring Darien, who was staring at her, on her way out.

At the steps of the temple, Mina was walking from the other side.

"Oh no! we are late!" said Mina

"No, we are 5 minutes early." Said Serena looking at her new silver watch.

"How can that be?"

"I'll tell you once everyone gets at the temple."

After the walk up the temple, Lita, Ami, and Raye were waiting for them.

"Here Serena! Have as many cookies as you wish!" Said Lita

Serena only grabbed 2 since they were semi small.

"Serena what's wrong? Are you sick?" Said Ami

"No, I'm fine" Said Serena

Ok Serena. You told me that you would tell me why you changed." Said Mina

"Alright. Darien and I broke up so I changed for two reasons. Number one, I want to change so Darien would see that he made the worst mistake in his life. Number two, I realize now that I was too babyish so I decided to change that!"

"So besides your appearance, give me proof." Said Raye Serena pulled out of her briefcase her Science test. "85%!!! What happened!!! They were essay questions too!"

"Serena! I'm so proud of you! Now I don't have to worry about those high school entry exams as much for you!" Said Ami

Unfortunately, there was someone else who noticed Serena's change.

"Serena is becoming more and more perfect! I never thought that her perfection could improve! Princess, I will soon be your love"

I know this is kinda short, but this is where I wanted it to end! Sorry! I'm kinda slow on updating. But then again, it's summer! *dances* JA NE EVERYONE!
