When Elizabeth walked out of the building, she pulled out her cell phone and punched in a number.
A familiar, rough voice answers the phone. "Hello?" it asks angrily.
"Just what do you think your doing? I don't need you to send your little spies here. I'm doing just fine," she replied.
"I'm getting tired of waiting and you're not doing your job fast enough."
Elizabeth walked down the street and began yelling into the phone. "Look, I just want her to get out without getting hurt. Give me one more week with this and I'll get it done."
"The time you were originally allotted should have been long enough!" He paused and sighed heavily. "If you cannot get anywhere with her in one week, no more than that, then I will take matters into my own hands. Is that clear?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good. And let me make one thing perfectly clear to you. Not only will Miss Kaioh suffer, but you will pay dearly for your failure. Is that understood?"
"Y-yes, sir. Perfectly…"
"Good." The line is then dead as the man hung up the phone.
"Tonight. I have to make her see that she must give up the company." She sighs heavily and walks off.

Elizabeth sat in her red Cheve Camero, waiting for Michiru.
Michiru walked out of the building quickly and slid into the car. "Hey, Sweetie," she greeted happily.
Elizabeth smiled at her. "Hi hun. How does your favorite restaurant sound for lunch?" she asked.
Michiru nodded her head. "Sounds fine to me."
"Great. Let's get going."
Michiru closed her eyes and rested her head on the seat. "It feels so good to get out of the office. I start feeling suffocated when I'm in there too long."
Elizabeth kept her eyes on the road. "Maybe you should find a less stressful job. Let someone take the load off of your sexy shoulders."
Michiru laughed slightly. And give up doing what I love to do? I could never do that."
"Michiru, are you sure that you're not hurting yourself by taking on all of the responsibility? All of that stress can cause physical damage."
"I don't think I am. The work may be stressful, but I work it out regularly. You know that I practically live at the gym."
Elizabeth sighed and looked at her out of the corner of her eye. "Michi…?"
Michiru glanced up at her. "Hm?"
"I'm getting a different job. It's located outside of Tokyo. To be able to get it, I'd have to move. Would you move with me?"
"What? When did this happen? Move with you? That…that would mean…I'd have to leave Kaioh Co."
Elizabeth reached out and grabbed Michiru's hand. "I didn't want to tell you until I was sure. I found out when I went back home. Please, Michiru."
"Baby…" She shook her head slowly. "I'd have to give this some major consideration. I cannot just leave my company, you know that."
"Do you need any help?"
"No, I don't need any help."
"Not even with finding a good home for your job?"
Michiru turned in her seat to face her. "Are you that set in my leaving my job and going with you?"
"I just don't want to leave you behind, Michi." She smiled at Michiru briefly.
"Let me think about it, ok? You know how difficult it will be for me to decide."
"Can you let me know by Wednesday? And no later than Thursday."
"Are you giving me an ultimatum? It's my job and my life we're talking about here, not deciding on which house to buy."
Elizabeth fell silent as they drove the remaining way to the restaurant. Then, in a happy voice, "We're here."
Michiru stepped out of the car. "I'll try to let you know. I can't make any guarantees. You know that, right?"
"Yes, Love."
"Good. Now, let's get some food. I'm starving."
Elizabeth nodded her head and lead Michiru into the restaurant.

The rest of the week passed by quickly, and Michiru still hadn't giving her decision to Elizabeth. As the week that Elizabeth had been given came to a close, she began to jump at every little noise.
Suddenly, her cell phone began to ring. She answered the phone and put on a happy voice. "Hello?" she chirped.
Elizabeth cringed when she heard the rough voice. "Well?" he snarled, "Have you completed your assigned task?"
"S-she's close to giving me an answer, sir…The rest of the weekend, I'm sure of it."
"What is taking you so damned long to get her to get rid of her company? This should have been easy for you!"
"She's having a hard time letting go, sir. Please, the rest of the weekend."
He growled slightly then sighed loudly. "I should just send someone over there right now and finish the both of you off!"
"Please, sir, just a few more days…"
"You listen to me and you listen good. I will give you until Sunday night, 10 p.m. to give me what I want. If you fail, bot you and that woman will pay with your lives!"
"Y-yes, sir. I will see that it gets done."
The phone went dead just as Michiru walked into the house. "I'm home," she called out.
"Good-bye…"
Michiru walked into the room. "Who are you saying good-bye to?"
Elizabeth's eyes grew wide. "Michi! You're home early."
Michiru leaned against the wall and nodded her head. "Yeah, I finished things early. Who were you talking to?"
She looked quickly at her cell phone. "Oh, um…It was my new employer."
,"Oh really? What did they have to say?"
"My boss said that if I plan on taking the position, we need to move to their area by Sunday night."
"Oh…" she replied and looked down at the floor.
"Please, Michiru. I've told them about you and they really want to talk to you."
Michiru closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the wall. "And why do they want to talk to me?"
"Because they might have a place for you with their company. They heard that you were the president of Kaioh Co. and they want to meet you about a possible merger."
Michiru ran her hand through her hair. "So, basically, if I were to go with you,. I'd be giving up one company for another? I'd give up the company that I built to go work for one that I know nothing about?"
"Well, who knows. Maybe it will be better than Kaioh Co."
Michiru shook her head. "I can't do that. I'm not willing to give up Kaioh co. I don't care if it's better than mine. I built Kaioh Co. with my own blood, sweat, and tears. I'm not giving it up for anything."
"DAMNIT, MICHIRU, YOU'RE GOING TO DAMN YOURSELF IF YOU DON'T COME WITH ME!"
She looked at Elizabeth in shock. "What in the Hell are you talking about?"
Elizabeth covered her mouth and looked at her, fright written all over her face.
"Elizabeth, what do you mean, `I'm going to damn myself'?"
"Y-your life, my life, we're in danger if you keep Kaioh Co."
Michiru pushed herself away from the wall. "How in the Hell is my life in danger if I keep my company?"
"Have you heard of Maque Complete?"
"I can't say that I have."
"They are the second leading cosmetics company in Tokyo[totally made up here, folks.] and they need Kaioh Co. to make it number one."
"They're the ones who have been asking about me selling my company?"
Elizabeth nods her head slowly.
Michiru looks at her with shocked eyes. "And you trying to get me to leave Kaioh Co…You've been trying to get me to sell out to them?"
Elizabeth reaches out to her. "Michiru, please…I never thought your life was in danger."
Michiru quickly steps away from her. "I can't believe you'd try to get me to get rid of my life."
"Michiru, please. I didn't mean to…" She puts her hands together, as if begging for forgiveness.
"No. I don't want to hear anymore." She grabs a bag and starts throwing her clothes into it. "I'm leaving."
"No, please, don't leave Michiru." She follows her close behind, trying to stop her.
Michiru walks out the door and jumps into her car. "Don't bother trying. I'm not going to listen to you." She starts the car and drives away.
Elizabeth looks around, immediately scared.
Halfway down the block, a yellow Ferrari sits. The driver picks up a cell phone and dials a familiar number.
The rough voice answers immediately, "Yes?"
"Miss Kaioh left the house. Liz is alone. Should I take her out?"
"Get rid of her." The phone line goes dead.
The car drives up to Elizabeth and the window rolls down. Elizabeth looks at the window then quickly backs away.
"Get in the car," the driver states.
Elizabeth shakes her head. "No, I'm not getting in there."
The driver pulls a gun from the glove compartment. "Get in or I'll shoot you here and leave your worthless body for the dogs."
She pauses for a moment, then slowly gets into the car.
The driver puts the gun down. "Now, where is your girlfriend going?"
"I.I…don't know. Sh-she didn't tell me…any-anything. She just l-left."
The driver gives her an evil smile. "Maybe we should follow her then. Make sure that she doesn't make it to wherever she's going?"
She begins to panic. "Please, no! Leave her alone!"
"Why? You failed and you know she is going to die anyway."
"Please, just let her go. Get rid of me and leave her alone!"
"But she's in the boss' way. She's got to be taken care of."
"She doesn't need to be taken care of! Please, I'm begging you, don't do anything to her!"
The driver growls softly and lifts the gun to Elizabeth's head and pulls the trigger.
Michiru walks up into the hotel and up the front desk. "Hello, I need a room please," she says politely.
The old man at the counter nods his head. "How man and how many nights?"
"Oh, just me. I'm not sure how long I'll be staying."
He nods his head and hands her a pen. "If you would please sign the guest book, ma'am?"
She quickly signs the book and hands the pen back. "How much is it per night?"
"It's $65 dollars a night, ma'am."
"Thank you. Um, I do not wish to be disturbed. I'm not expecting anyone, and I don't want any calls forwarded to the room, ok?"
He quickly looks down at the name. "Of course, Miss Kaioh." He hands her the key to the room.
"Thank you." She grabs the key and makes her way up to the room. She immediately calls her secretary.
"Kaioh Co. Miss Kaioh is out right now, may I take a message?" she asks politely.
"Touko, it's me. I might not be in for a couple of days."
"Are you alright Miss Kaioh?"
"Not entirely. If anyone calls, tell them that I'm on vacation for a few days. My office door is locked. Do not let anyone in for any reason."
"Whatever you say, Miss Kaioh. See you in a few says."
"Yeah." She hangs up the phone then lays on the bed, falling into a deep sleep.
