Chapter One

Leaving the Life of Sailor Moon Behind

Rated: PG-13

Author's Note: I have started to rewrite this story. Some

of the reviewers tell me that I am not making my charaters

seem strong, or I am not doing enough work and being lazy.

Summary: This story, as you have figured from the title,

is about how Serena leaves the group after being kicked

out. The scouts misunderstand her. They know nothing about

her past. Only one does, but that person is told not to

tell until the becoming of a powerful soldier. Read and

find out how ALL of the scouts find out of Serena's

powerful powers.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything that has to do with

Sailor Moon. It belongs to Naoko Takeuchi. The other

things belong to me, like the modeling company and Stari.

Serena woke up hearing a beeping sound. The source of this beeping sound was her Moon communicator. She then looked at her lock which told her that it was three in the morning. For any one else it would have been unusual, but for a certain meatball head it wasn't, for she was the super heroine, Sailor Moon. She reluctantly answered her communicator, which was the source of the sound.

"Moon here." she answered groggily. "Wake up Meatball

Head. There's a youma in the park. Get your lazy ass here

now!!" shouted Mars. Behind her she could see an ugly

youma trying to destory the scouts. She closed the

communicator without answering. Then, she shouted out the words "Moon Crystal Power, make-up." White light engulfed

her as she transformed.

She quickly jumped out of her window. She was usually

clumsy when in her human form, but now in her super form

she held grace. She ran as fast as she could to the park. Luckily, with her present form, she had super speed, too.

She was very fast, but combined with her regular speed and

her super speed, she could beat the world record.

~Street side~

Before she got there, Rubeus appeared out of nowhere.

Sailor Moon came to a sudden stop. She pointed at Rubeus

and started to say her regular entrance lines. Before she

could start, Rubeus sent a blast that headed straight for

her. She moved out the way, but not before the blast hit

her square in the back. It left a dark cresent moon shape

on her back. It was smack dab in the middle of her used to

be flawless back.

She groaned out in pain. "You are so helpless without help from the other scouts. Take this. I guess this is the reason why Sailor Moon doesn't exist in the future, because I killed her." said Rubeus sending out an attack to her.

"Crystal, hear my words, please help me defeat this evil being." she whispered.

"Prince Diamond would sure be pleased that I killed you." boasted Rubeus. When he was saying that, the crystal was building up it's attack, by the commands of Sailor Moon. Then she aimed the blast towards Rubeus.

"SILVER MOON ECLIPSE!!"

It dusted him within seconds, for the attack was so strong. ["The girls are really gonna be mad at me."]thought Sailor Moon. She made her way carefully to the park, where the battle was taking place. She was hurting from her back where Rubeus hit her and from the usage of the cryatal. When she finally got there, the battle was almost over.

~Battle Scene~

The scouts were all in a bad shape when she saw them.

Their uniform were tattered everywhere. Jupiter had a

large cut on her leg. Mercury had one too, but on her arm.

Mina was bleeding badly from a cut on her side, along with several other major cuts. She had almost died that night.

Rei was filled with blood. Her injury couldn't be seen,

but it was apparent that she was hurting up in her

shoulders. She also saw that Tuxedo Mask was there. He

looked very tired.

Uranus and Neptune were injured badly, with a bloody blow

on their heads. Pluto and Saturn were the last ones

standing, but soon collapsed.

The scouts were trying there best to tend to their

injuries, with Tuxedo lending them power. Mars was the

first one to see her coming. "Hurry up and save us!!!!" screeched Mars.

Sailor Moon looked around and saw that the four sisters

were attacking them, not the usual youmas. She wonder

where they had gone. She had seen them in her communicator

when Rei had called her.

"Moon Healing Activation!" she screamed at the nearest

sister. It happened to be Catsy. Next, she healed Birdy.

Then, Avery and Prisma.["I wonder why the scouts coulnd't

do this job themselves."] Her powers seem to grow stornger

by the moment. She was suprised that she had healed all four sisters at once.

Youmas then came out from no where. She aimed her scepter

at them and they were all dusted. The youmas that she dusted were the weakest of the race. She then ran to the

sisters. Using her new found power that she just

discovered, she transfered them to a safe place. She made

sure that they knew what happened. She thought that the

scouts would be proud of her new found powers, but she

thought wrong.

The Outers just then got up. They were also proud of their princess. The inners weren't so proud.

"Where were you Meatball Head." fumed an angry Mars. "You

could have gotten us all killed. You are such a DITZ. HOW

CAN YOU BE THE LEADER OF THE SCOUTS. YOU ALMOST GOT MINA KILLED." screeched Mars, yelling with full force the last sentence. "But I-" she was cut off by Rei again. "You can't do anything right." she seethed.

Rei had wanted Serena out ever since she met her. She

never wanted anything to do with Serena. In fact, she was jealous of Serena. She wanted to be the leader, be the

holder of the crystal, be the moon princess, and be

Darien's girlfriend. She felt that Serena had stolen all

of that from her.

This jealousy that she felt came from Beryl. Before Beryl

died, she made a deal with her. Rei told Beryl that she

would bring down Sailor Moon in return for her freedom.

Beryl made sure that she was true to her words, so she

put a spell on Rei. The spell made sure that Rei would

take down the most powerful being.

Before she died, she asked Metallia to grant her one wish.

The wish being that all the scouts to come would bring the

fall of Sailor Moon. So far, her wish had worked. The

spell wouldn't last long. Beryl made sure that the scouts suffered the guilt and pain from taking Serena out of the group.

Tears were forming at the edges of Serena's eyes. "Rei is right. You are a ditz. You can never do anything right.

You fail at school. Your practically late for everything."

put in Ami coldly, who was tired and angry that her

leader couldn't even save their lives. The spell also

being in effect. "They are right. You could never be good

at anything. You don't even have any powers from your

soul. You just use the crystal and scepter, but that

isn't really your power." said Lita, feeling tired from the battle and put all of her weight onto Serena. "Maybe it's better for all of us that you leave. We wouldn't want to waste our time by protecting the wrong princess." said

Tuxedo Mask, harshly.

They were the only four who were infected by the spell.

Beryl did not know that there would be other scouts in the future. Mina was unconscious, so the spell did not work with her.

Serena looked so shocked. The people who she thought that

were her best friends were telling her that she was

nothing. She couldn't believe her ears.

She looked over at the outers. She knew that they believed in her for they knew about her newfound powers. They just nodded at her.

"Fine then. I'll leave. I hope your happy with your

decision then. I tried my best to deal with this PATHETIC

team. I hope you all suffer from this guilt. I would tell

you the reason why I'm so late, but why don't you ask

Rubeus himself. Oh wait, he isn't alive to tell you. Why

won't you ask the four sisters, but no, you don't know

where they are because you weren't watching me when I had transfered them to a safe place. You didn't even

congratulate me on my new powers.

"You don't know a single thing about me. If you had been

paying attention to me and not think that I will always

be the klutzy Serena, you would have known me better. What

kind of guardians are you. You can't protect anything. And

you call protecting me a waste of time. You are the ones

that have to depend on me, not the other way around. If

you want any other information on me, ask my TRUE friends, Molly and the outers, for they had been paying attention." emphasizing the word true. With that she took out the communicator, Luna Pen, Scepter, and her brooch. One by one she smashed it onto the hard cement.

First, the communicator shattered into pieces. Then, the

Luna Pen followed. The inners and Tuxedo were so shocked that they did not try to stop her. It was like they were frozen. She paid no attention to them anyway.After that, she thrusted the scepter towards the wall nearby. She

watched silently as the pieces fell down.

She said,"I'm going to keep my birthright. None of you would be able to use it anyway." She then disappeared as abruptly as her words. The outers left with her.

They were about to shout for her, when she suddenly

wasn't there anymore. They all asked each other when she

had left. Serena was really strong, that even without

being Sailor Moon, she had super powers. They happened

to be from being the most powerful person in the Silver Millenium.

"Did she really kill Rubeus?" asked Ami. "What did she

mean by how she transfered the sisters to a safe place?

Does she have some kind of power that we don't know

about?" asked Lita. "Did you see that gruesome scar on her

back and how pale she looked? I didn't know she had super powers without being Sailor Moon?" said Tuxedo, sadly. "We

should of have paid attention. It was all my fault." cried

Rei. "It was all of our faults." said Ami, who was also

sad.

Venus then woke up. She had heard the whole thing. She couldn't believe her ears, even though she knew that this night was to come. She thought that they would of been stronger.

Meanwhile the scouts were all praying that their beloved friend would do nothing drastic. The girls all headed to

Lita's place, where the cats would be at, so they

could tell them the news of the night's event. They were

all spending the night there with the exception of Serena because she was grounded for making another bad

grade, or so her parents thought.

~Tsukino Residence~

After she left the scene, Serena headed straight for home.

She was going to leave Japan and start all over again.

She wanted to start far away from the people who had

destroyed her. She then thought of the United States. She

would love it there. She was on the top of her English class. She knew enough english anyway. She packed all of her belongings in her big suitcase. Then she out that in her sub-space pocket.

She then took out three sheets of paper to write the

goodbye notes. One was to her family on how she would leave Japan forever and perhaps never return. The second one was to the girls, Darien, and the scouts.

The last one was to Molly. She wanted to say goodbye to

her. Molly was her best friend and she would never forgive herself for leaving her without saying goodbye. She

understood things that the others didn't understand.

She placed the one to her family on the desk downstairs.

She then left her home. She called for a taxi to take her

to Molly's and then the airport.

When she got to Molly's she put the note inside the

mailbox. She then told the driver to take her to Lita's apartment. She then put the letter in Lita's mailbox. After that she left for the outers mansion.

When she got there, she got out and paid the fare. Then she knocked on the door.

They were all waiting for her. Their things were in the

sub-space pockets. "Let's go." said Serena.

"Are you sure about this Serena?" asked Setsuna.

"Yes, they couldn't fight the spell, they have to learn

how to battle without me." replied Serena.

"If you say so Serena. Your the boss." said Haruka.

"Are you sure you can teleport all the way there with

all the energy you used?" asked Michiru. "Yes. I can

make it." said Serena.

"Let's go. SATURN POWER." shouted Hotaru.

"NEPTUNE POWER." shouted Michiru.

"URANUS POWER." shouted Haruka.

"PLUTO POWER." shouted Setsuna.

"MOON POWER." shouted Serena.

"SAILOR TELEPORT." shouted all of them.

In an blink of an eye they landed somewhere in the United States.

~Tsukino Residence~

"Wake up-. Serena.....where's all of her things." cried

out Irene, Serena's mother, which brought Ken and Sammy

running up the stairs to Serena's room, which was covered

with bunnies and pink things. Well it was, now the only

thing that was left the bare furnitures. There was a white piece of paper in Sammy's hand as he came up.

"What.........." gasped Ken, Serena's father.

"Hey, Mom!!! Look what I found on the desk downstairs."

cried out Sammy, Serena's little brother. On it was

"Family". Irene ripped opened the note.

The note said:

Dear Mom, Dad, and Sammy,

I guess you are all wondering why all my things

are gone. If you want to know what the problem is

just ask my former friends.

I have left the country. If you are wondering

how I got enough money to leave was because of my

job. I was working as a model, actress, and singer. I have been doing this since I was 14.

I have enough money to survive in my new life.

I will not forget you guys. I'll write to you when I

get there.

Goodbye,

Serena

P.S I love you all.

"Oh Kami." gasped Irene. "I can not believe that my

daughter is a model." cried out Ken. He knew that his daughter had a great voice and that she dreamed of singing one day. He didn't mind the acting, but modeling. "Cool. My sister is famous." said Sammy.

Ken's shot a look at his son. "Famous???" asked Ken.

"Don't you know that there was a new model out there. She models for the largest modeling company in the world.

Her name is Star Sun. Now I know that it's Serena because

it looks just like her. Look at this picture." said Sammy, showing his father the modeling picture of Serena, or also known as Star Sun.

The picture showed Serena wearing a long, silver dress

with no back. The front was low cut, where it showed off

some of her skin. She was modeling for the evening wear. There was a article saying something about her, but they never had the chance to read it beacuse the phone just rang.

~Molly's Home~

Molly was out going to check the mail as usual. When she

got there, there was only a note inside. It was in

Serena's writing, so she figured it would be from her.

Molly opened up the note.

The note said:

Dear Molly,

What I am about to tell you will make you angry

at me. I have kept a secret fom you for two years

now. I know that we tell each other everything, but

this was important.

I am the leader of the Sailor Scouts, Sailor

Moon. You can ask Ami, Rei, Lita, Mina, and Darien everything. I am no longer a part of their group.

They think that I do not know a thing. Only you do, because you know that I do not want to brag.

You knew that everytime that I was late was

because I was taking another test with another

teacher. And that everytime that I had detention,

I was being praised or rewarded.

Another thing that you should know is that I'm

the Moon princess. I'm also the sole heir to the Sun

and Stars. That's why I took up that name. You knew

about my triple jobs. The other's don't because I

used the crystal to protect my identity.

The others do not know that I'm the princess of

the stars and sun. I'm also the future ruler of the Universe. I am glad that I finshed college and have

my degree. Now I can start my jobs.

They don't know that the reason that I'm so

klutzy and stupid is beacuse at the beggining of

school I was chosen to act like one, when in reality

I was graceful, mature, and smart.

Do not tell anyone until you have to. I have left for a better life, free of troubles. I

know far more than the scouts and Darien think that

I do.

Do not fear. I'm not alone. The outer scouts are with me. I will send and write for you when its is time.

P.S I'll miss you. Remember that you'll be my

best friend forever, and me yours. I want

you to show this letter to my family, but

not the scouts.

Molly was in tears. She knew that the reason Serena left

was because of the scouts. She started out for Serena's

home.

~Lita's home~

The girls all had explained everything that happened that morning to Luna and Artemis. The cats were really

shocked.

"I think I'll check up on Serena. Hopefully, she hasn't

done anything drastic." said Mina, who had recovered slightly from the accident. A couple of minutes later, she was on the phone with Serena's mom.

"Hello, Mrs. Tsukino, this is Mina. May I please talk to

Serena?" asked Mina. "You, you are the reason that my

little Serena left. I don't know why she wanted me to

talk to you. Goodbye." with that, Serena's mother hung up.

Mina was shocked. 'You, you are the reason why my little

Serena left.' "Well, what happened? Did you call the wrong number? I should have known that you would." complained

Rei who was a little snippy after the scene Serena made.

"She's gone. We made her leave." whispered Mina. "Who's

gone?" asked Rei, competely puzzled. "Oh my gosh. You mean

that Serena left us." said Lita. "We better go over

there to check on her family and tell her the truth." said

Ami. Now that Serena was gone, they needed her family to

know the truth.

They all headed out for Serena's. Before they left, Lita checked her mailbox. What she saw was a letter from Serena.

The letter said:

Dear Inners and Darien,

I will be gone by the time you get this letter. I am disappointed that you guys could not fight the spell that Beryl put on you. I am even more disappointed in you Mina. You knew that this battle would come , but you did not try to stop it. I did not find out till now. Goodbye Luna. I know I was a disappointment for you. You do not know of my new and powerful abilities. See you Artemis. Bye Darien. You unfaithful S.O.B.

Serena

"What did we do?" asked Lita. The others took a glance at the short note. They all were shocked again.
