She spoke his name like she wasn't sure it was really him. As the mind control left her, so did her clothing. It faded away as the power dwindled and died.

"Neflite?"

"Mako-ko? It worked? I broke his hold on you?" He felt as surprised as she looked. She was straddling him now, which felt quite nice to him considering she was naked, but now wasn't the time.

"Neffy, you're hurt…"

"I'll be ok.

"I did this, didn't I?"

Neflite nodded. Makoto turned around, getting off of him. Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw the dead warriors.

"NO!" Nephrite looked furious. Makoto turned to him.

"You! You're the one who made me go to the dark place!" Makoto growled. "I owe you for that one and I aim to pay. Jupiter Crystal Power, MAKEUP!" Lightning enveloped her and them pulled back to reveal Eternal Sailor Jupiter. She glowed with fierce green energy, anger radiating. She launched herself at him throwing punches and kicks. He tried to dodge them but her anger was too great. She went all out, using every style she had ever learned on him, every dirty fighting move. If he dodged, she'd hit him anyways. Like she was against her friends, she was too fast, too strong. Her memories of what she had done were returning, bringing more tears to her eyes and fueling her temper. "You made me HURT them," punch, "KILL them," she ducked to avoid his punch, "And for that I'll. Never. FORGIVE YOU!!!!" she screamed as she grabbed the space sword and rammed it into his gut.

Blood spurted from his mouth, and poured out of the wound. He fell onto Jupiter, his breath labored, his life force fading fast. "P-p-prin-cess…" he whispered as he slid to the floor. She just looked at him before turning away.

"Let's get out of here," she said just before the huge doors to the throne room swung open with a crash. A woman, a very angry woman, with flaming eyes and greenish tinted skin came out.

"You should be dead! All of you! The curse of the Legion has stayed with you through all your lifetimes. Proof of my power. Reason for using my power: you came in here and messed up my beautiful palace. I'll just have to kill you myself." She fired a bolt at Jupiter.

Jupiter of course dodged it, but not entirely. Her calf was singed by the blast and she fell to the floor. Neflite rushed to her aid with Usagi not far behind. A hand jerked and grabbed Usagi's ankle. She fell hard.

"Owww….who did that?"

Nephrite pulled himself up, leaning on his elbows, and said, "Th-that…is my queen…she...she will k-k-kill you all…if…you don't…harness…the…power…" his breathing became more difficult, "the…Gem…it can…stop her…kill her…resurrect the others…give your power…to the Gem…to my princess…please…" His life force died out and he collapsed back to the floor. Usagi barely noticed the evil queen and the blasts she was firing at Jupiter and Neflite. Jupiter was fighting by using her crystal and Neflite had been pushed back to where Usagi was. All Usagi saw was the dead body of a man who had wanted love and had even sold his soul to get it. But in the end, he redeemed himself, she thought, he gave us the answer because he really did love her.

"Silver Crystal Healing Activation! Bring the Senshi and Knights back to life!"

Their bodies glowed with moonlight, their wounds healed and they all slowly opened their eyes. One by one, they got up.

"Minna! Listen to me!" said Usagi, "Makoto, Jupiter has been returned to us and she needs our help. Give your power to her. Power to the Gem!"

"Hai!"

They lined up in three waves, the Inner, the Knights and the Outer. Usagi, Rei, Minako and Ami held hands, knowing that Makoto wasn't strong enough, knowing that they were all she had. They each focused their power. Neflite stood to the side, knowing that he did not belong there, with the others. He belonged with his princess.

Jupiter could feel them. She could feel their concern for her, their love, their friendship. But most of all, she could feel the love of her one and only. He stood next to her, his arms wrapped around her then lifted to mimic her stance, feeding her his power through direct contact. Their bond, all of them, combined into one power, into the Gem, into Jupiter. She felt that love raise her. She whispered, "Jupiter Element Power." Her tiara disappeared, replaced by the symbol of Jupiter. Still her power grew. The evil queen was weakening, strained by the enormous amount of power generated by the soldiers.

"MINNA! NOW!"

Everonye yelled together, "MILLENNIUM CRYSTAL POWER…PLANET ATTACK!!!!"

The queen wasn't able to withstand the awesome power of the attack. Powered by the Gem, it was unstoppable. She was blown away to dust.

Ok, people, the next chapter is the last one, just to tie up the loose ends and give Makoto and Neff the happiness they deserve. ^_^ This story has been fun to write. I had originally intended it to be a sex story, but it somehow evolved into this. I guess changed this story for my boyfriend Ryan, and since he is now gone, I have finished this story in his honor. He wasn't my Neff, unfortunately, he was more like Nephrite. My story had sort of mirrored what has happened in my life. Anyways, this story is dedicated to him. My version of a tribute and considering how well it turned out, I am quite sure he would have liked it. He would have questioned some of the parts, but he would have liked it.
