A to Z- A Minako/Kunzite Fiction

A Minako/Kunzite one shot.
Summary: Each sentence starts with a different letter of the alphabet. Just a challenge I set myself. Enjoy! Minako/Kunzite. Set in the Silver Millennium. May be a sequel. Told from Minako’s POV.
A month ago I wouldn’t care.
But that was a month ago.
Caring for him now is like breathing for me.
Death awaits us I know, but still I can’t stop thinking about him now more than ever.
Even though I know that he has left me; left us all to be our enemy.
Forever and always.
God, that didn’t last long did it; sure great promise you made there, lover.
Helping me fight this war would be so much better.
Instead what do you do; leave me to do things all by myself!
Just like you.
Killing me quickly with your harsh words and horrible glances.
Leaving me feel empty inside and horrible.
Morning sun seeps in my window and I see that you are not in my bed.
No way you would be; I know that now after you told me.
Over a month since you left and still I am hanging onto your memory.
Probably should get over you, forget you so I can fight.
Quietly I rise from the bed and dress, making sure not to look at the necklace you got me.
Reaching into my jewelry box, my fingers feel the cool metal.
Sighing, I pull the necklace out and marvel at the wonderful golden necklace.
Tears find their way to my eyes and I break down and sob on my vanity.
Usually at this point- when I am sad and crying- you will always be there to help me.
Very often you would take me in your arms and hug me, hold me and stay with me until I stopped crying.
Wearily, I lift my head and wipe the tears from my face, scrunching up my nose in disgust at my red, tear-stained face.
You forgot me, so I will forget you.
Letters not used: X and Z. Lets face it guys, there are no words that I could have used that use X and Z. I will keep this a one-shot for now, but if people want a sequel (A to Z 2- Kunzite’s POV) then just tell me and I can write it.
Words: 298 words.
