Fate Is So Beautiful
Part Two

"Why did you call us back?" asked Ryo to Beryl
"Because, there have been a strange aura around a girl
named Amy Tendo. I want you guys to investigate it"
answered Beryl as she tossed them the papers of Amy.
The ronins looked over it. Sai then spoke up, "Why
would you want us to investigate this girl?"
"She may be of some importance to us in the future" she
answered
"Okay" said Sage, "We'll look into it" The ronins then
disappeared back to their home.
"Beryl, how long shall we keep them in secret of the
truth?" asked Jedite
Beryl smiled evily, "Until they out live their
usefullness"


"Man, I hope this is the right place...." muttered
Serena as she stood outside a dojo. "This way, I can get
the training I need to defeat those five new warriors.
Serena knocked on the door and it was opened by a girl
with long brown hair and caring eyes.
"Why hello" she greeted warmly. Serena liked her
already, "May I help you?"
"Yes. Does a Ranma Saotome live here?" Serena asked
"Yes. Please follow me" replied the girl, "Oh, by the
way, my name is Kasumi"
"Serena" smiled Serena to the older girl
Kasumi led Serena to the dinner table where Ranma and
his father were fighting over some food.
Serena looked to see Ranma, his father, an aged man
with black hair, a girl with short brown hair, another girl
with long blue-black hair and a girl with light blue hair,
with her nose stuck in a book.
"Ranma, you have a visitor" said Kasumi as she gestured
to Serena.
Ranma stopped fighting for the last piece of bread with
his father and turned to Serena, "Sere...?"
Upon Genma hearing the familiar nickname, he turned to
see Serena standing there quietly, "What are you doing
here?"
"I came here to learn martial arts" answered Serena
"That's not like you Sere" said Ranma
"Who is this girl Ranma?" wondered the girl with
blue-black hair, her aura was rising dangerously.
"Uh, Akane, meet my sister, Serena" said Ranma
"Sister?!" exclaimed everyone in the room with the
exception of Ranma and Genma.
"How is it possible for you to have a sister?" wondered
Akane
"You see, when pops wanted to take me on this training
trip, my mom objecting on letting Serena go. Pops wanted to
take her too, but, Mom gave her to the Tsukino's, a friend
of the families, to adopt her and Pops never found out where
she was and she wasn't able to go on the training trip"
explained Ranma, then he whispered to Serena, "You were the
lucky one"
Genma heard him and did a uppercut on him which made
Ranma fall into the pond outside and turn into his girl
form.
"Is that the reason I was lucky?" giggled Serena
"Oh, how rude of me not to introduce you to everyone"
gasped Kasumi, "Over there is father, and there are my
younger sisters, Akane, Amy and Nabiki"
"Hello" greeted Serena to the three younger sisters.
Serena had felt a strange aura around Amy.
Serena then went to help Ranma-chan out of the pond,
"Ranma, can we talk alone?"
"Sure" answered Ranma-chan


In the dojo....
"Ranma, did you feel that aura around Amy?" asked
Serena as she adjusted her gi.
"Yeah, I talked to Akane about it, but, she didn't know
what I was talking about" answered Ranma as he got into a
fighting stance, "Let's see what you can do first"
"So, what's happen to you since I last left you?"
wondered Serena as she essayed a simple punch, which Ranma
dodgedand knee'd her in the gut.
Serena hunched over to catch some lost wind. Ranma
spoke as he waited, "Well, I'm engaged to Akane. I am
cursed, and I have three other girls after me to marry me.
That's about it"
Serena stood back up, "You definatly have a more
interesting life then I do"
"So, do you have any boyfriends?" teased Ranma
"Nope, not yet" blushed Serena
Ranma and Serena continued their spar session, and
Ranma taught her some techniques, where she was now half as
good as Akane. Soon, it was time for her to leave.
"Do you really have to go?" asked Kasumi. She had to
admit, the young girl brought a lightness around her that
she appreciated.
"I have to go and I don't want to impose any longer"
said Serena as she prepared herself.
"Sere, why do you need Akane's boken?" wondered Ranma
as he bid his sister goodbye.
"Hey, I'm taking the subway home, remember?" replied
Serena. Everyone laughed at her. Serena then made her way
to the subway.


Rowen watched the light blue haired girl as she bid
someone away from the Tendo Training Hall.
'So she's the one with that weird aura....' he thought
to himself. He barely noticed a figure pass him as they
came out of the gates.


'Huh?' thought Serena. She then noticed that Rowen was
standing and watching the Tendo Training Hall. As if caught
up in something important. Serena tried to see what he
could be staring at, but, noticed nothing.
"Uh...Rowen?" she cautiously asked
Rowen nearly jumped out of surprise, "Oh, it's you
Serena"
Serena smiled, "Yeah, are you on your way home?"
"Actually, yes I am" replied Rowen as he dusted himself
off, "May I escort you home?"
"Yes, I am going on the subway. I could use all the
protection I can get" giggled Serena. She then tossed the
boken behind her and the two of them made their way to the
subway station.


Rowen fiddled with the collar of his shirt as he sat
next to Serena in the train. He looked at her. She was
looking out of the window and watching the passing scenery.
He had never been so fidgety with a girl before. Actually,
the only girl he knew was Mia. And she had a thing for Ryo.
And he didn't really like Mia as he like Serena......
Did he like Serena.....?



"Aw man!!" exclaimed Serena as they began to roam the
busy streets of Juuban and then a downpour of rain came
down.
"C'mon!" yelled Rowen as he grabeed her hand
"Where are we going?" asked Serena
"My house isn't too far from here" replied Rowen
Serena blushed, "You're....house...?"
"Yeah, me and the other guys live there" said Rowen
Rowen and Serena just made it as thunder kicked in.
Serena yelped and held on to Rowen's arm for dear life.
Rowen looked down at her in confusion. Rowen then shrugged
it off.
"Why don't you sit on the couch and I'll get us some
towels?" suggested Rowen
Serena nodded and made her way towards the couch.
Soon, Rowen came back with some towels and handed her one.
As they both dried off on the couch, Rowen then spoke.
"Would you like some hot cocoa?" offered Rowen
"Sure!!" chirped Serena
Rowen then got up and went to make some cocoa. Then,
Ryo, Kento, Sai and Sage came downstairs. All of them
noticed Serena sitting on the couch.
Ryo smiled, "Serena, what are you doing here?" Ryo
half hoped that she was there to see him.
Serena smiled back, "I met up with Rowen on my way home
and it started to rain and Rowen let me stay here till the
rain let's up"
Ryo's hopes sunk, "Oh. And where is Rowen now?"
"He went to go fix some hot cocoa" replied Serena
Rowen then came out with a hot cocoa for Serena and
handed her the cup. Ryo gave Rowen a hostile glare.
"Where were you two coming from anyway?" asked Ryo as
he and the others sat down.
Serena took a sip of the hot cocoa, then replied,
"Nerima"
"Oh" commented Ryo. 'Nerima was where that Amy girl
lives. So Rowen was checking her out'
A couple of hours went by when the group chatted, then
Serena announced that she had to leave.
"How about I walk you home?" offered Rowen
Ryo then intervened, "Rowen, you must be tired, I'll
walk Serena home"
Rowen was about to object when Serena agreed with Ryo,
"Ryo's right. I'll see you later Rowen"
Ryo and Serena then went out the door with an umbrella,
and coats.
Rowen was puzzled at Ryo's outburst of volunteering.
Then, he shrugged it off.
"I'm going to bed..." muttered Rowen as he made his way
to his room.
