“What?! Are you sure?!” Amara yelled as Yami covered his ears.

“Yes, think about have you seen there wrist in the last couple months?” Yaten asked as Amara thought back she hadn't seen Michelle or any of the others wear short sleeves. Amara felt her legs give way as Raphael caught her.

“No…I thought…” she whispered as Raphael lightly stroked her hair.

“We all thought that…We all thought that they were free from Choas's control!” Seiya said as Amara looked at him.

With Hotaru

 

Hotaru sighed as she pulled her knees to her chest and held them there. She tightly touched her neck and blushed slightly, thinking about how it felt. She closed her eyes thinking about him.

She knew she had to chose. Both of them had broken her heart, but what Seto did to her hurt more then Alister and Alister didn't know how to show his emotion to her. When Seto hurt her he really did mean it and Hotaru can forgive, but not forget. She closed her eyes remember those hurtful words.

 

Flash Back

“How do you know!” he yelled as he pushed her off of him. “Your not worth my time!” he yelled as Hotaru's eyes widen. “You should be grateful that I even let you live in my house! But you do nothing to show it!” Hotaru looked at him for a minute then got up and ran. Allister looked at Kaiba with pure anger for a second then ran after her. Amara ran after them after looking at Yami.

 

She opened them as she let out a soft groan when she thought about what Seiya was going to say to Amara and boy did she know that she was going to kill Seto. She sighed at the thought of stopping Amara.

She felt the mark on her neck again and blushed even redder at what he said to her.

Flash Back

 

“You're so beautiful,” Seto whispered as he sat up making her under him.

 

She blushed even redder when she thought about Kaiba's kiss. Those words…no one ever told she was beautiful like that, but the pain the pain that nearly killed her. She wanted to die. So badly. Her heart was being ripped apart and if Alister wasn't with her then she might have done something she would have regretted.

 

Yet Another Flash back

“I'm sorry I was forward with you, but I didn't know how to tell you,” he said as Hotaru looked at him.

“Tell me what?” Allister felt his cheek turn red as she asked that.

“Ummm, well,” he said, but was interrupted.

End of Flash Back

 

Hotaru thought about what Alister would have said if Amara hadn't come. She wondered what it would have been like with Alister and what it would be like to have someone who only loved you and wasn't afraid to hide feelings like Seto. She blushed went she thought about the kiss.

Sweet and gentle not like Seto's. Seto's were rough and forceful. Hotaru looked at the ground feeling the tears fall down to the ground.

Seto sat on the edge of the bed thinking about everything he had done to Hotaru. He closed his eyes thinking about Hotaru.

 

Flash back (What's with all the flash backs?)

Hotaru just finished dinner and she was reading in her room.

“Hotaru?” she knew the voice was Seto's.

“Yes, Seto?” she asked as he came in and sat on her bed.

“I want you to know something…”

“Hm?”

“I want you to that…I will always protect you.” He said as he touched her hand.

“I knew that as soon as I met you Kaiba. When I first met Allister he told me that you were a jerk and…lots of other things, but when I talked to you I would see this man who is misunderstood by people and he's afraid to show emotions.” She said this quietly and blushingly too. Kaiba looked at her and smiled a little.

End of flash back

He opened them wishing for blue to clash with violet eyes. He sighed as he realized his eyes met a fall. He remembered what she said to him when he asked her to choose between him or Alister her.

Flash back

“Hotaru...who will you choose?” he asked tilting her chin up to him.

“That isn't fair!” Hotaru screamed at him with tears in her eyes. Kaiba flinched realizing that he was causing her unneeded pain.

“I know this isn't fair, but you can only love one man!” he shouted as Hotaru pulled away from his grip.

“Kaiba! You make it sound like I'm a possession or something! I'm a human being and I just can't choose after everything that's happened!”

“Then don't say things you don't mean!” he yelled wanting to get her out of his sight

“I do love you, but…”

“But nothing! It obvious that you and Alister like each other!”

“Then don't bother protecting me! Don't seal any promises! Don't touch me ever again!”

“Fine then leave!”

“I'm already gone!” she left the room as soon as she said that.

End of Flash Back (Man I heard of bumpy relationships, but heck this is ridiculous!)

With Amara

“So what are we going to do?” Amara asked as she walked next to Raphael again. He sighed, knowing that he wasn't able to give her an answer.

“I'm not sure,” he said as he looked at her to catch her navy blue eyes. Was it possible to fall in love with someone you have known for a short while? He looked her and tilted her chin so her eyes could look into his. He closed his eyes and leaned into her lips. Amara's eyes widen as his lips touched hers. Her eyes were half closed as his other hand snaked around her waist and pulled her closer.

Yami was going to get them to tell them it was time to go and eat something, but he stopped when he saw what he didn't really want to see. Yami just turned around before he could see anything else.

“Stupid, you should be happy for Raphael, but then how come I feel my heart tear to pieces?” Yami asked as he heard Amara say something.

“This isn't right,” Amara whispered before she ran off to think.

Sometimes you wonder

If this fights worthwhile

With Hotaru

Hotaru slowly walked up to Alister as he looked at her with a smile. Hotaru smiled back sadly wondering if she was doing the right thing. She was in the park and so was he as the rain started to pour down lightly.

“Alister, I care for you very much, but…”

“I know, you love Kaiba even though he is kind of a jerk and I know he loves you and if that makes you happy then I want you to be with him,” Alister said as Hotaru looked at him with a small smile. “You're both going to have your ups and downs, but think about it. You two really are a pair. Kaiba is like a dragon with hard rock skin and you are this fire fly that shows light to everyone.”

“Thank you Alister,” Hotaru said with a small smile and walked away as Alister got on his motorcycle as it started to rain harder.

“I just wish I was the guy to make you happy,” Alister whispered as he drove off not wanting to look back…

Sailor RA: I don't think that's a bad ending if I do say so myself! But Kaiba already seems to be messing up the relationship!

Vegeta: Next time: Seto learns what Hotaru said to Alister and goes looking for her, but something happens…And why is Amara holding back from Raphael and why am I the one doing this?
