When Fiore returned to the shadow realm, he was furious. He was angry Mamoru for telling him he loved him back. He was angry at the Scouts for once again getting in his way. He was angry at the world for dealing him such a crappy lot in life. Most of all, he was angry at himself. He was angry that he had ever fallen for Mamoru. He was even angrier that after the truth had been reviled, he had run from it. He almost seemed happier living in a world where Mamoru didn't love him back. It was a lot lonelier, but it was a lot easier for them both. Easier and safer.
Shikyuu started when he heard the door to his chamber slam into the wall with enough force to break the plaster. He looked up from where he had been sitting. Fiore stood there in the shadows, seething. The fire light played along his elfin features. It made the pink in his hair stand out even more. He breathed out slowly, taking in the figure that approached him. He could read the anger coming from Fiore. Silently, brushing his long orange hair from his face, Shikyuu stood to greet Fiore. The closer the alien came, the more Shikyuu liked what he saw. Fiore's face was twisted into a smile, but his eyes held none of that emotion. They were burning. It was like looking into the core of a blue flame. There was a cut across his perfect face, and a nick on his neck. That made Shikyuu sick. Someone had marred his beautiful Fiore. Whoever did it was going to pay.
The Dark Price reached out to brush the cut. “Who did this?” It was more growl than words. The door swung shut. Neither one noticed. Shikyuu was intent of Fiore. Fiore didn't care where he was, because Mamoru had forsaken him for Sailor Moon. And then he had lied to him to make him go away.
Fiore didn't answer him. He just looked at the orange haired price with a predatory gaze. Shikyuu shot one of his own back. Instead of backing away, Fiore was coming forward, grabbing Shikyuu's face roughly. Then the alien kissed Shikyuu with all the hatred in his being. He kissed the Dark Prince to show Mamoru how much he cared that he had been thrown away for some boring girl. He could find a replacement easily. As he kissed Shikyuu, he realized what he had done. He was only fooling himself. The only one not telling the truth was him. He was standing here betraying Mamoru. Fiore tried to frantically break the kiss, but Shikyuu wouldn't have it.
The Dark Prince was shocked for about the first thirty seconds. Here, he had worked all this time, and this is exactly what he wanted. He let Fiore take charge for a little while, just enjoying the sensations. He felt the anger through the kiss. Fiore was doing this to spite someone. In all possibility that someone was the Prince of Earth. It angered him that the alien man was using him to get back at the man, but it was exciting at the same time. He had won. He had beaten the memory of the man he hated the most. He felt Fiore start to pull away. That's when the Dark Prince took over. He had Fiore right where he wanted him.
Fiore squirmed to avoid the advances Shikyuu was making. He couldn't move. He wanted to. He wanted to leave, desperately. He wanted to be anywhere but in Shikyuu's chambers with the Dark Prince himself. He wanted to strike out at the orange haired man who touched him, but the price had pinned his arms behind his back. Before he knew it, he was responding to those touches. Pressing his lanky body closer to the touch he despised so. He felt wetness on his cheeks.
Shikyuu saw the first tears fall. He felt almost sorry for His Fiore. His. He could finally say it. Though he had yet to actually be claimed, the beautiful alien now belonged to Shikyuu. He stopped his assault just to hold Fiore and look down at him. He had never felt sorry for any of his other conquests. He didn't know why, but he felt something different for this one. He wondered if what he could be feeling was love. He admitted that he lusted for Fiore. That much was clear. The more he thought about it, the more the Dark Prince wondered it there was more to it than that. He wanted Fiore, but he wanted more than that body next to him in bed. For the first time in his life, Shikyuu was confused. He figured it would all be clear once he claimed Fiore completely.
The long haired alien noticed that Shikyuu was distracted. He seized the moment. Being smaller and thinner than the Dark Prince had it's merits. It meant he was quicker. Fiore twisted to one side throwing them both off balance. They landed on the floor in a heap. The impact knocked the air out of Shikyuu's lungs. He let the alien go in shock. That was all Fiore needed. He was on his feet and running as fast as he could out of the room, leaving Shikyuu still sprawled on the floor. The Dark Price watched the door swing back shut, plunging him into a state of semi darkness once more. He pounded a fist into the floor in frustration. He had been so close. So very close. If he hadn't stopped when he did, Fiore would have been his. Instead of going after the alien immediately, he waited on the floor for a little while, gathering his wits. Fiore was resourceful. Shikyuu had to be ready for anything that the alien might throw at him.
Leaving his chambers, he silently searched for the man. He was surprised that Fiore had remained in the palace. The alien was sleeping on one of the big stone thrones. His hair fell around him like a cloak. His long white cape made for a semi descent blanket. Shikyuu smiled. There were still tear tracks down Fiore's cheeks. The poor guy was an emotional wreck. He must have cried himself to sleep. Shaking his head, the green eyed prince moved the cape so that it covered Fiore's entire body. Then he leaned over and gently placed a soft kiss on Fiore's lips. “We`ll try again later, my love. But for now, sleep.” He smiled as Fiore groaned slightly, and tried to roll towards the source of the voice. As Shikyuu walked away, he heard Fiore's voice.
“Don't leave me again. I love you.. Don't go.” Turned, his face brightened, hoping against hope that those words were for him. Fiore was dreaming. “Mamoru... Please...” Those two words sent daggers into Shikyuu's heart. In his sleep, Fiore was reaching out, trying to desperately grab hold of something.
“I don't want to be alone again...” Swallowing his anger, Shikyuu lifted the sleeping alien and headed towards his chambers again. Once inside, he placed Fiore on his bed, so that he as hugging him lightly.
Fiore started awake, but Shikyuu held him down. He started to struggle against the arms that held him motionless. He heard a soft voice through his haze of fear and self-pity. “Shhh. You were having a bad dream. I won't leave you alone. I promise. Now go to sleep.” He said through clinched teeth. To his delight and surprise, the alien snuggled in closer to the body heat, and was soon asleep.
Shikyuu sighed, praying to everything he could think of for the strength to keep his lust in check. It would be so easy to take Fiore now while he was vulnerable. He didn't have the energy to fight against Fiore right now. He was more than content to just lay there and let Fiore sleep on his chest. “I love you, Fiore.” He told the sleeping man, kissing him on top of his head. Then he let his head rest on that soft fall of hair.
