GIRL! YOU THERE!
By Sailor DKC

On the moon, in the castle...

Kneeling on one knee, Sailor Jupiter faced Queen Serenity with one
arm crossing her chest. "I am ready, your Majesty."
Smiling, the Queen came forward and placed her hands on Jupiter's
shoulders. "Sailor Jupiter, your test of survival skills will be on
planet Earth. The prince has allowed permission for one of you
scouts to use a part of his kingdom as training grounds. As an
agreement, he is also testing one of his Guardians. I don't know his
name or what he looks like, but he will be wearing the Guardian
uniform. The same situation will go for him."
Nodding, Jupiter rose. "I thank you for giving me this opportunity to
improve my skills so I can protect your daughter, Princess Serena."
After bowing to the Queen, she turned and left the royal throne room.

On Earth, in the palace...

Kneeling on one knee, General Nephrite faced Prince Darien, his arm
crossing his chest. "I am ready, my prince."
Motioning for him to stand, the prince stepped forward and handed him
an enclosed envelope. "This must be taken to the place which I told
you about. You know where to put it. Along the way, you may meet some
resistance. I know you can do this. Whether you win or lose, you will
return to the place where you left the envelope and check it again.
Do you understand what I mean? This is a test of your skills."
Nodding, Nephrite pocketed the envelope. "I will not fail you, sire.
My duty is to protect you and your kingdom." He bowed, turned and
left the royal throne room.

Before she reached the teleportation chamber, Jupiter heard running
steps and fast breathing behind her. "Wait, wait, Jupiter!" a
delicate, but excitable voice called out.
"Princess Serena?" Jupiter whirled to face the princess as she
stopped before her. "What's wrong? Is it your mother?"
"No, no! Here!" Thrusting an enclosed envelope into Jupiter's hand,
Serena leaned up to whisper in her ear. After a while, Jupiter pulled
back in shock. "Serena, are you sure? I don't know if the Queen will
approve."
"Oh, please! It's on the map where you're heading, and it's along the
way. And you know what to do after it's done!"
Sighing, Jupiter put the envelope down the front of her uniform. "As
you wish."
"Thank you! Good luck!"

On Earth...

Materializing in a lovely green field, Jupiter opened her eyes and
looked around at some familiar surroundings. Taking out her map, she
went over it and figured out where she had to go. After putting the
map away, she started running. As she ran, she began to recognize
some of the places she visited the last time she was here. It was her
first visit to Earth to begin training as a Sailor Scout. She was
only 12 at the time, but it felt like yesterday. Smiling, Jupiter ran
as she remembered meeting a boy a few years older than she was...

FLASHBACK STARTS

In her scout uniform, 12-year-old Jupiter was running through the
green field. She had separated from the other scouts to go exploring.
"Wow!" she gasped, as she looked around at the rolling hills and the
beautiful blankets of flowers everywhere. Stopping at a patch of pink
roses, she rested a bit, then sat down. Plucking a pink rose, she
held it to her cheek, feeling its softness. Lifting it to her nose,
she inhaled its sweet scent.
"Girl! You there!" A voice shouted behind her.
Jupiter jumped up and turned in a defense pose. A young boy, no more
older than 15, stood there with a sword in his hand. He had deep
blue eyes and dark brown wavy hair that came down to his shoulders,
and he was wearing a royal blue uniform. He was the first Earth boy
she had ever seen in her life and a handsome one at least. 'What a
hunk!' she thought.

FLASHBACK ENDED ABRUPTLY...

...as Jupiter paused before a gazebo of pure white marble. Stepping
into it, she walked to the center and knelt down. Following the
princess' instructions, she pressed down the center tile on the
floor. It moved under her hand and then slid open to one side,
revealing an envelope in the hole. Jupiter picked it up and examined
it. There was no name on it, but there was a rose seal on the
enclosed part. 'This is what the princess asked for,' Jupiter
thought, taking out the other envelope Serena gave her and putting it
in the hole. She nudged the tile side, and it closed over the hole
again with the note in it. Putting the rose envelope in her uniform
front, she got up and left the gazebo.

Jupiter hadn't gone far when she heard a deep voice calling out,
"Girl! You there!"
Turning, she faced a tall man with deep blue eyes and wavy brown hair
that grew past his shoulders. He had a determined look on his face
and a sword in his hand. Tilting her head, Jupiter stared at him in
wonder. 'I've seen him before,' she thought. 'But where?'
General Nephrite faced the tall Sailor Scout, his eyes widening in
recognition. 'It's her!' he thought.

FLASHBACK BEGINS

15-year-old Nephrite was practicing his sword moves in an open field,
a few miles away from the prince's palace. As he swung to one side,
he saw someone running through the field very fast. Suspecting an
intruder, he sheathed his sword to his side and took off after the
person. He managed to catch up and stay on the person's tail for
about a good few feet. Suddenly, he realized that it was a girl
because of her green sailor scout uniform, and the way her legs
sprinted in perfect, athletic form. He halted when she stopped by a
patch of pink roses and sat down. Then she plucked a rose and held
it to her face. Nephrite waited a moment, then called out,
"Girl! You there!"
The girl jumped quickly up and turned to face him in a defense pose.
She was very pretty with the greenest clear eyes he had ever seen.
Her hair was done up in a ponytail style, held with a double green
ball hair holder. A thin braid hung from the right side of her
temple. Dangling from side to side, it caressed her cheek.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Blinking, Nephrite came out of his flashback trance and stared at
Jupiter again. Then he smiled slyly, reached up and touched his left
cheek with his hand. "It's been six years, hasn't it, Lita?"
Now Jupiter blinked and dropped her mouth open in shock as she
recognized him. "Nephlite?"
"Yeah." He nodded, looking up and down at her. Her hair was still
in the same ponytail style, but it looked longer and softer. The
braid was gone, but her figure had gotten more curvier, and her
muscles looked very built yet firm. Her eyes were as green as ever
and her lips, well, they looked so, so full and inviting like the
last time. "You look good,...really good," he said, staring intently
into her eyes.

Blushing, Lita stared at him. His hair had gotten longer and his
eyes, wow, more bluer when she last saw him. He was still taller
than her and more muscular under his uniform. The way he stared at
her was different from the last time. His stare seemed penetrating
than challenging. Clearing her throat, she responded, "You're
looking good yourself."
After a long moment of staring, Nephlite spoke up, "Well then, let's
see if you can beat me this time." He prepared to move.
Coming alert herself, Lita also got ready. "Of course, you owe me a
chance."
They started running toward each other yelling. As they jumped
mid-air into each other, they both remember how it led to this.

FLASHBACK BEGINS

"What are you doing here?" Nephrite asked, pointing his sword at
Jupiter. "Trespassers are not allowed here!"
"I'm not a trespasser!" Jupiter replied. "I'm here to train as a
Sailor Scout."
"A Sailor Scout? From the Moon Kingdom?" Nephrite lowered his sword.
"I've heard of them, but I never met one, especially from the Moon.
My name is Nephlite, and I'm training to be a Guardian of Earth."
"A Guardian? The generals who protect the Earth from invaders?"
Jupiter straightened from her defense pose. "Wow! Cool! My name is
Lita. You're the first one I've ever met and also the first boy from
Earth."

"Really?" Smiling wickedly, Nephlite lifted his sword again. "If you
are training, then I can give you a trial run. HEE-AAH!" Leaping
from his spot, Nephlite came down, swinging his sword at Lita.
Gasping, she quickly leaped out of the way and somersaulted onto her
feet. He came at her again, swinging his sword back and forth. She
dodged out of every swing he threw at her. Finally, he plunged his
sword to the ground and swung from it on his side, lashing his legs
out to connect with Lita's ankles. Shrieking, she fell to her side.
When she rolled to her back, she was met with Nephlite's sword,
pointing at her heart. For a long moment, they gazed at each other.
Lita could feel her heart pounding as she breathed hard.

Nephlite then backed away, withdrawing his sword and sheathing it on
his side. Bending towards her, he stretched out his hand. Gripping
him, Lita pulled herself up, facing him. "Your defenses are really
good," Nephlite commented. "But you must also learn to fight back."
"We haven't got to that part of the training yet!" Lita retorted,
angrily.
Chuckling, he reached out and dangled Lita's braid with his fingers.
"With that kind of attitude, you'll be a very strong fighter. Go, and
when or if we meet again, I'm sure you'll be able to beat me."
Astonished in hearing his confidence in her, Lita was silent for a
while, then she smiled. "Thank you. I don't think any boy
complimented me that way before." Stepping forward, she leaned up
and kissed him gently on his left cheek, then stepped back.

* Jupiter looked at the red lipmark on his cheek, smiling softly.
Nephrite stared at her, astounded of the kiss she left on him. *

"Well, I guess you owe me this fight." Lita was about to leave when a
hand grasped her arm. Feeling him coming close behind her, she heard
Nephlite whisper in her ear, "If you do beat me, I get to kiss you
back."
Gasping, she turned and looked at him. He stared at her intently.
Shaking herself free, she ran off never forgetting the image of him
with her lipmark on his cheek.

FLASHBACK ENDS

'Six years have passed then,' they both thought as they fought. The
sword was swinging to and fro as Lita dodged, leaped, and jumped out
of the way. Then, in a surprising move, Lita kicked the sword out of
Nephlite's hand, and it cluttered to the ground. Staring it in shock,
he whirled, then quickly dodged as a green boot swiped over his head.
Lita pressed forward, throwing punches for his face. He was able to
avoid her fists. Then she aimed a karate chop at his neck which he
blocked with his hand. Biiiig mistake! She hooked her foot around his
ankle and tripped him. Flipping on his side in mid-air once, he
landed face first in the ground.

When he rolled to his back, he was met with his own sword, pointing
at his heart which was now pounding hard. Breathing heavily, Nephlite
looked up at Lita, holding the sword and smiling triumphantly. "I
beat you!" she exclaimed, breathing hard. She cast the sword aside
and helped him up. "Thank you for giving me that chance."
Before she turned to leave, he grabbed her arm. "Just a minute," he
said, warmly. "You do remember what happens if you beat me?"
She did remember which was the reason why she is trembling. "I do,"
she said as he made her look at him. "If I beat you, you get to k-k-
k-k-kiss me?"
"Yeah." He bent down and placed his lips on hers.

The kiss for both of them was exquisite, and it was everything they
thought it would be and better. As his lips pressed firmly on hers,
Lita knew his kiss would be strong and masculine and soooo sensual.
She tingled all over, then whimpered as she felt his tongue probing
to enter her mouth.
Their arms went around each other and held each other tightly.
Nephlite thought he was in heaven, kissing her lips which felt soft
and warm and tasted sweet. Heat surged through him as he felt her
open her mouth to allow him to explore more with his tongue.
The kissing lasted a while until finally Nephlite broke away and
placed a tender kiss on her left cheek. "I never thought I would see
you again," he murmured, gazing into her green eyes. "I promised
myself if I did, I would kiss you the last time you kissed me."
Smiling, Lita touched his left cheek, staring into his deep blues. "I
never forgot the image of you with my lipmark on your face."
"I didn't want to wash it off, but I had to because I had to present
to the prince..." He stopped as realization came down on him. Lita
gasped as she also became aware of her mission.
"I have to go!" they both said at the same time, and they both took
off in different directions. After each one ran a good distance, they
turned simultaneously, and yelled,
"LITA!"
"NEPHLITE!"
"IF WE MEET AGAIN, I'M ALSO KNOWN AS-"
"IF WE MEET AGAIN, I'M ALSO KNOWN AS-"
"GENERAL NEPHRITE!"
"SAILOR JUPITER!"
And they both ran off again.

Nephrite went into the gazebo and opened the center tile. He found an
envelope, and it was sealed with a bunny head figure. 'Prince Darien
said it would be here, and his rose envelope is gone.' Pocketing it
in his pocket, General Nephrite got up and left the gazebo to return
to the palace.
