long lost words whisper slowly to me
still can't find what keeps me here

He eyes her small form, trying to imagine her as his... and found it impossible. It was too late. She had declared her love for that bastardized version of a prince, and destroyed his hold on his female host in almost the same breath. He growled. She was an angel: pure of heart and soul. He was demonically impure. Had he not deliberately destroyed everything she had worked so hard to protect to hurt her like she had hurt him? But it hadn't worked. She had destroyed his host and had returned order. `She'll always be his, never mine.'

when all this time i've been so hollow inside
i know you're still there

Usagi sobbed as if her heart would break. They just didn't understand. Light attracts the dark. Everyone knew that. But what happens when the dark attracts the light; when the light starts to need the dark? What happens when the light is drawn to the dark like a moth to flame? Kami, how she wished she knew. She had caught a brief glance of the ultimate dark while `cleansing' Galaxia, and couldn't help herself. She fell hard and fast. She refused to destroy that wondrous being, there-by refusing to destroy the source of all evil. `But is chaos evil? Or is it just... without order?'

watching me, wanting me
i can feel you pull me down

He watched as she cried. H watched as she begged to be understood. But no one would understand her. Not like he did. The little light that was slowly being smothered. She was a brilliant beacon of hope and love that drew all those who needed said light to Earth, to Tokyo, to her. But he still couldn't understand why she didn't bring back her prince. The starseed...oh. That's right. He'd forgotten that in a fit of pure jealousy, he had destroyed her love's chance at a new life; Hell, of any life at all. Guilt swamped him. He had caused her pain. `What the Hell is she doing to me?'

fearing you, loving you
i won't let you pull me down

She watched him, a true smile gracing her lips for the first time in months. Ever since she had felt him near she had been watching him, content. She whimpered softly as one of her senshi's elbows dug into her side, effectively gathering her attention from the Dark One. She felt his fury that someone had dared hurt her and she started to laugh: a cold, high-pitched, dangerous sound that made hairs rise on the back of the senshis' necks. Annoyed (and more scared than she would care to admit) that Usagi was laughing so, Sailor Mars reared her hand back and bitch-slapped her, hoping to bring her princess back to her senses. However, the senshi of the planet Mars realized, too late, that that particular action was a grave mistake... as she ended up starting into the deadly eyes of Chaos in all his raging glory.

hunting you
i can smell you

He growled. How dare they hurt -for whatever their pathetic reasons- his little light. She was HIS! His to hurt. His to touch. His to please. How dare they! The fury radiated off him in waves. All of the sudden, his light started to laugh and the sound, even to him, said death. Interesting. She had felt his fury, knew what it meant, and was laughing at the senshis' fate. Was this his light? If so, there was more to her than he could possibly realize. His eyes narrowed suddenly at the red one -Mars, he vaguely recalled- who had the audacity to smack his light. With no more thoughts of staying hidden, he teleported himself in front of the moon-child, and glared at Mars. “Die,” he hissed. Within seconds, there wasn't a senshi left. Just nine flashing starseeds. Grinning triumphantly, he gathered the seeds, and paused.

alive

Usagi glanced at him, before calling two of the starseeds to her. Dark-violet and rose-pink, her children. Softly she blew on the starseeds, earning from them a light twinkling giggle. They flickered, and in their place two babes, each around two-weeks old, floated. On their foreheads their once proud sigils -Saturn and the Moon- sputtered and died. New sigils took their place. On one, the Japanese character for Death; on the other, the Japanese character for Life. Gently, she took the babes into her arms and smiled softly down at them. Briefly she pressed her lips to their foreheads. Turning her back on the other starseeds, she went home.

your heart pounding in my head

Urgently he fed on the star seeds, consuming their power, devouring their life-force. With each one, he was that much closer to following her. When he was done, he turned and followed her trail. Upon entering her home, he stopped and stared at the beautiful scene he found. His little moon-child was curled up on the couch, the two babes cuddled close to her. Gently he pried the darker child out of her arms and slid in next to her.

When Ikuku, Kenji, and Shingo came home, they stared in shock at the scene before them. Even Kenji, who normally would have blown a gasket at the sight of his baby-girl curled up next to a male (both of whom were holding two children that were obviously theirs), had to admit, he didn't have the heart to wake them.
And even if he did, he wouldn't have; it just felt right... as if this strange male was meant to be with his baby-girl.

saving me, raping me

So? It's a way different pairing for me, though it IS centered around Usagi. (chuckles) I just can't seem to stay out of her head for very long. Read and Review. Flamers welcome. Constructive criticism needed.
