Prologue

"Who would have thought that after so much pain and suffering throughout ones life, one could endure so much more years later? That the terrible things one may go through in their childhood may ebb away for a time and come back a harsh reality in one's newly formed adult life ten times stronger? Who would have thought, as a child, that the terrible things displayed on the news every morning and every night, may actually happen to them and shatter their life completely? These are things we tell ourselves that would never happen to us and yet they do. Things that destroy us even though we may go on, for deep inside the pain never leaves, it haunts us, acting as an eternal reminder...it has happened...and it's happened to me."
A blonde haired girl looked down at the paragraph she had just written. Her petite frame was slumped in a cushioned chair at a dark hard wood desk, and her long tresses fell down her back, and slightly over the brand new opened diary sitting in front of her. The words were curled lightly in her graceful script across the light pink papers, a slight smile had formed on her lips at the sight of the small pink bunnies bordering her diary page. Re-reading her first paragraph in her new diary the blonde's eyes glistened with sheer happiness. "Finally. I've finally faced it. I can't be hurt anymore, that I'm sure of. All it is now, is a chapter of my life, a chapter forever closed." She told herself firmly, thinking back to when she had thought that before...but she had been wrong then, terribly wrong.

Authors Note: Unbelievably short, yes I know. But it's only an introduction to the story so don't worry. I hope you all review this small piece of literature anyway, I'd love to get some feedback. You could also e-mail me at MysticMoon1121 {at} aol.com, if you'd like!
