Chapter 1: Coup

It was a cold, dark night in the imperial city of Reshegal.The current emporer is a cold hearted ruler named Dragmire Lilsul. His rule is uncontested by most but there are a few dark ones still resisting the usurper. One of those rebelious warriors Kendran Tulsulu. he is the true descendant of Hirokio Zieg, the last true emporer. Now on this night of historical importance will Kendran have his revenge and take his rightfull place as dread emporer.

"But Father, why now? Why must it be this night to reclaim the throne?" asked his 14 yer old son, Rounde Gemminite. "It is the only way to strike when he is weak from the last uprising. It is now that I will spill his blood on the palace floor. He is not like us. He is a usurper, and his blood does not flow black like mine." replied Kendran. Gemminite knew why Dragmire must die. His blood was not black, and black blood was the symbol of the true dread emporer. He, Rounde Gemminite, also had the blood of darkness. He had felt its power about two years ago when he cast his first spell, but he rejected his father's choice of timing. This night already had a death mark on it. His mother's death mark. "Agreed, we attack tonight, but can't we wait in reverance of the dead?" asked Gemminite. "No, the seers have told me tonight is the one that Dragmire will fall."

------------------------------ Later that night in the imperial throme room.-------------------

"You die now Dragmire. No one will stop the Tide of Time now, not even you!" shouted Kendran.

"Hmm. Have you made the Ascention Kendran? Do you claim the ancient power of the shadows?" asked Dragmire. The ring of steel on steel began again. Gemminite watched as the two men clashed swords in contest of the dark throne. My lineage betrays me, he thought. About 5 hours later Dragmire Lilsul, the Dark Thief, was lying dead on the throne room floor,but all for naught, Kendran Tulsulu, the Destroyer of the Opressor, was dying from Dragmire's poison. "Gemminite, come here." said Kendran, "You are Dread Emporer now. I cannot live much longer. The seer named you Rounde Gemminite, the Ascended Shadow Lord for a purpose. Take your throne my son. I now acknowledge you Dread Emporer and high mage." stated Kendran as he placed the crown on his son's head. Then as Gemminite sat down on the dark throne Kendran lulsulu, the Destroyer of the Opressor, fell to the floor with his dying breath he said " Tredessa, I will be with you soon."

Hotaru awoke with a start. She had the same recurring nightmare for 2 months earlier. It was the same thing every time, a tall, dark figure that brought destruction to all things. He was from a diferent dimension, at least that is what she saw in her dream. He controlled vast amounts of dark power, and with it he conquered the universe. Then there came an image of herself, much older wearing what seemed to be a royal gown and the man had claimed her as his bride and empress. But hadn't sailor moon deafeated chaos and sealed away the negative energy? she thought to herself. This could not be real, no matter how much she felt a cold shiver run dow her spine when he held her hand in her dreams.

------------------later that night----------------

A beam of light had apeared in front of the Tsukino home in Azabu Juuban, Japan. As soon as the light had apeared the small nova had dissapated and in its place stood a man with white hair. he seemed to glow with a light that would strenghten the most desolate of people. He also did not cast a shadow in the nebula of light that surrounded him. "So, it has begun." he said to him self as he walked in the direction of hikawa shrine.
