Prologue: Legends of Dominaria: The Emperor's Line and the Triumvirate

Of the time when the great Melbu Framha ruled Dominaria there was a question of the succession line.

He then decreed that the one of his many children who had the Eyes and Blood of the shadows could take his place. The other children were killed. If only one child was born to the next emperor, then that child would take their place on the throne.

The Triumvirate is composed of the three rulers of light, material, and dark Planes.

This force of three ruled the entire universe jointly and there was a time of peace that lasted until Melbu Framha declared war on the Dragon ruler Bahamut. After his defeat the dark emperor cast a curse on his entire line and the triumvirate itself. The curse was that all dominion emperors would die just as he had, in battle, until one of them made the ascension into the forbidden powers of the first shadows. The second curse was that the triumvirate would never again convene until one of all three of the rulers descendants had made the ascension into immortality.

End Prologue

-----------Tomoe residence 5:04 am---------

Akara had been awake for the past hour. Alone with her needle and red leather case. That case had her entire life from when she was 13 years old stockpiled into vials, powders and leaves. She was 14 now and it hadn't changed at all. She was still miserable and still hated herself, what she was. That part she didn't know. Her marching band instructor, Nazzara (Or Nazz) had told her she wasn't like her mother, a Saturian (Someone from Saturn). He told her that she was something a whole lot darker and extremely more powerful than any Saturian. That fact might have been drawn from last year's magic class "incident" when she had exploded with rage. Casting a bevy of dark spells in the class of forbidden. The one that permanently stuck out in her mind was Dreamless. She cast that one on her friend Michira. Then she had an extensive visit with Headmistress Ami. Which led to a suspension of 5 days from Silver Light Academy, where she Currently attended 9nth grade. Why she was awake was because it was that time of the month and she decided to take some of her "medicines" for it. These "medicines" were not necessarily legal but they were very powerful.

She thought about how her mother would react.

'Well, being raised by Haruka-sama and Michiru-sama would have that effect on her.' she thought as she shivered at the thought of her mother finding and destroying the contents of her 'happiness and dreamlight' as she referred to the psychoreactive substances she kept outside the law.

-----------------------Outside Crystal Tokyo near the north end-- 6:56 am-----------

"Princess, we must get you to a place of residence." Said a dark haired man. "General Hadrez, You have served my father for 1,000 years. I am not a child any more. No one can stand against one of the Blood." The princess said in defiance. " Princess, these are your father's orders, and remember you are of the Blood but you do not have the Eyes of the ancient Shadows." Stated Hadrez

"What of a Name?" Asked a shorter man with black hair and one hand. " She cannot use her Name given by the seers. The Traitor would recognize her and send her to the Shadows." He stated. "My lord, I think I have an answer to that problem." Replied an old man with electric purple armour. The four standing there would create such a scene.

Mainly of their weird form of dress and the mystic symbols forming the dark spell Gate in a land where swords are not needed and dark magic is forbidden. The short man was about 5'4'' with one hand and red armour on. He carried a huge greatsword, which he wielded with one hand.

The old man was wearing electric purple armour and had no weapon. The tall dark haired man was garbed in black armour and carried a cruel looking wavy-blade scythe. He halso was ultra pale and carried at least ten triangular shaped blades. Finally, the girl was wearing a Black dress of a very revealing sort which half way exposed her rounded and soft breasts. Also like the man in black armour she was pale, but seemingly paler. She also featured a tiara carved of black crystal and flowstone, a mark of royalty when used in jewlry. That stone was only found in Dominaria, the realm of the Shadows. "Ah, yes Io. I think her mother-given name would suffice." Hadrez went cold at the mention of that option. "But, I believe that your father's surname would be better for cover."

"So, I now go from my seer-given name to Chibi-taru Murasame." Chibi-taru said in shock and mild disgust.

"Yes, your worship." Replied the old man. " Now to the matter of lodgings. Your mother would be happy to oblige to keep you." The one-handed man replied to her as they walked toward the Tomoe residence.

--------Tomoe residence----7:00 am-----------

'Who in Kami's name could be at the door at this time in the morning.' Hotaru thought as she got out of bed to answer the door. "Yes, who is it." She asked

sleepily. "Lord Deimos has stated that you are my mother and I am to be staying with you. Is this correct?" Asked Chibi-taru.

I guess...WHO SAID WHAT?!" Hotaru screamed in shock at the scantly clad teenager in front of her. " Allright you foolish mortal woman. I am Chibi-taru Muarasame and Lord Deimos, General of fire, has explicitly stated that you, Hotaru Tomoe , are indeed my mother and that I am to be staying here until other wise notified by my father, Kotetsu Murasame. Is the information I have clearly provided sufficient enough for you to draw the conlusion that I am your daughter and will be living with you?" She explained while Hotaru was found dumb struck about the fact that her daughter was berrating her in such a way.

"Well, for one young lady while you are staying you will not talk to an adult in that fashion. Second, you will be attending Silver Light Academy and will follow all rules and resrictions on magic and behavior. Third, I am not foolish. I am just suprized to see my child back in 3 years and shocked at what she is wearing." Hotaru replied as she showed Chibi-taru to her new home and prepared her for her first day in a new life. But little did she know two new teachers would make this new life a bit strange and difficult.
