It begins Again 1

Cali ran up the stairs to the ground floor of the house she now lived in. Her past was all a blur, but she didn't care. Some people had taken her into their house and it was the best! They had a daughter named Cocoa, and they even let Cali keep her dog, Cracker. The Natromon's had given her the whole basement as her room. She ran over to her "new parents" room to tell them good bye, it was her first day of school and she was so excited!

After going to see her "parents" she ran upstairs to Cocoa's room, Where she knocked on the door.

"Cocoa are you ready to go?" she yelled threw the door.

Her reply was muffled "No, you ought to head on out if you don't want to be late I'll be there before the bell rings"

Cali Shrugged and headed outside where she found Crackers. She rubbed her dog's head and kissed her nose. "I'll be back later crackers, don't be afraid or run away now," she told her pet, then she walked out of the gate and headed off for school. He walked along the sidewalk looking around at all the houses that were there. It was November 12th and the leaves of the trees were just starting to fall from the trees. She walked further along and noticed a boy that was following her, he was obviously going to school now too. The weird thing was that he was wearing all back, not the school uniform. If he was going to school they would send him home. He looked up at her so she quickly looked away.

Cali reached school and found her locker. She put all her things that she would not need for her first couple classes inside it. All of her classes went by smoothly, although all of the teachers couldn't pronounce Calica Reduntzill (her full name). The really weird thing was that the boy that came to school after her didn't get in trouble for his clothes or anything, his name he found out was Tyler, and he was in all of her classes. She finished the day and went into the gym.

Tyler was keeping a close eye on this new girl, there was something about her that bothered him. The teachers didn't care which classes Tyler went into so he was able to follow her throughout the day. At the end of the day, she simply disappeared out of his sight, he knew she hadn't gone outside, he was standing by the door, but she wasn't in the halls anywhere. He decided to go in and investigate. He heard noises coming from the gym. He crept in. A girl, obviously Calica, the new one was there. She was swinging a big Staff, so fast that is was a blur. She stopped suddenly and looked over at him. He was out of there in a flash.

Cali walked home very slowly pondering many thoughts. Who was that boy? Why was he spying on me? Why didn't he get in trouble by the teachers for not wearing his uniform? What's him name, Tyler? She reached her house and sat down by Crackers. She just sat there for while.

"OK Arnak, you say there Is a new force round, like someone with powers, right?"

"Yea that's what I mean, I sensed it at school, don't tell me that none of you did."

"I think we were all to busy with school work to notice, anyway you're the one, after a whole year, who hasn't given up hope on Birdie, Arnak, she's not coming back."

All the scouts were at Trista's old house, after her children disappeared she moved out of her house taking her oldest daughter with her, but no one saw them leave, and they had never been seen sense.

"How do you know she's not coming back?" Arnak retorted

"Look I just do OK!" she was starting to yell at Arnak

"What do you know, anyway I was not saying this person, or people, any one of them was Birdie, I know better than that." Arnak retorted, then he walked out, mad that they wouldn't listen.

"Kira, you shouldn't be so hard on him, if you were in love like he was, and your love was killed twice, you would be the same way." A boy yelled at the person who was arguing with Arnak

"Chill out Cale, we all know its true, she's dead and gone, I have studying to do so I'll see you all another time," Kira stood up and walked out of the building.

Cale, Kiana, Mandy, Ryan, Amera, Alanna, Halex, May, and Kate were the ones left in the house.

"What if Arnak is right though, I mean not about the Birdie part, but there might be some new kind of magic power that's come. Good or evil we have to find out who they are." Ryan told everyone. Mandy nodded in agreement.

"OK then lets keep our senses open, check all the new people out, meeting over lets get home, I have homework." Kiana told everyone, they all left and headed home.

Cale and Arnak arrived at school together the next day. The first thing they did was look t the school battle charts. They were matched up for that day to fight against Moody and John, fist to fist, an easy win.

School battles were held ever other day in the gym after school to determine the best two kids in the school. The competitors could fight fist to fist, staff to staff, or mind to mind. You fought boys to boys, girls to girls, boy and girl to boy and girl, Boys to boy and girl, or girls to girl and boy, but boy teams never fought girl teams. You choose who you fought or they choose you.

The top ranked team so far was the TamTalizan team, Cale and Arnak. They were the top team in fist and staff, and second in mind. Tyler walked up behind them. They turned around when he came up to them. Tyler smiled, they knew the only reason he didn't battle was because they didn't allow one man teams.

Tyler spoke "You know I'm planning on getting a partner for the battles soon,"

Arnak studied Tyler's face was that power he sensed coming from him? But why hadn't he sensed it before, "You are? That's great, some real competition for once," Arnak finally spoke up. Tyler just smiled, then he walked off. "I don't get why the teachers bend the rules for him,"

"I don't either, but there's no use asking anyone." Cale replied

They walked into their classrooms.

At lunch they met up to sit by each other. That is everyone except Kira, and her boy friend Zell, who always sat with their friends over at a different table. They were whispering about things they found out when a tremendous force filled the room. They all looked toward the door, and there was Tyler with the new girl Cali. He was talking to her and she was smiling and taking back in a kind voice. Arnak just starred at her, the likeness was great, could she be? No she was to old and everyone said she wasn't coming back.

Cali stopped and looked at the boy, " would you stop following me!" she yelled at him.

"Look I'm sorry. I just have one question." Cali started walking toward the lunchroom, "would you be my battle partner, I've seen how good you are?" He questioned her.

They walked into the cafeteria. "Your names Tyler right?" He nodded, "OK Tyler I will, tell me the rules," They talked throughout lunch and thought up a plan to meet and sign up after that day's match.

After school they met up and went to the gym. Cali looked around, only half of the gym was full, the other completely empty. Tyler gave a girl at the door two tickets. Cali looked at him, he planned this whole thing before he even talked to her, she smiled, how cunning.

"Why is only half of the gym filled?" Cali asked.

"The fighters usually go into the bleachers, so they gave them a place to go without hurting anyone," Tyler replied.

"I'll most likely use it. Nice setup, I could see a few changes though." Cali told him. "hey Tyler, would you call me Calica instead of Cali?" She asked.

Tyler nodded and smiled, I wonder if she knows of her powers? He thought to himself, he shrugged and found a seat for himself and Calica. They sat down to enjoy the fight. The two teams came out into the gym and the announcer announced the teams.

"Welcome to the K-C high battles," people cheered, "today we have in blue the Tam Talizan team," more cheers," and in yellow the Lumbo team." There were some cheers but not as my as before, "Let the fights begin!" The fore boys ran together and there was a loud crash. The fight was under way. The fight was fierce, but at the end John was dazed ad Moody had surrendered. The fight was won. "The winner! Tam Talizan," The whole room filled with a loud cheer.

"So is that the best team this school has?" Calica Yelled over the crowd.

"Used to be, but their going down. We'll work our way up to them though." Tyler yelled back, Calica nodded. They worked their way down to sign up for the battles.

"Names of contestants please?" asked the lady at the registering desk.

"Tyler and Calica,"

"Team name?"

"Blitz Eagle"

"Team color?"

"Dark red"

They were set, they chose their first competition for two days time.

On the way home Tyler stopped and made Calica face him. "Calica there is something you must know, you've been long enough now without knowing it."

Calica looked at him, "What is that Tyler?" she asked.

"Cali, Calica, your like the sailor scouts in a way, you have magical powers, I know this is quite sudden but I had to tell you soon. Hokunoako had followers other than Jacole, and they have joined together to take over the universe. You are one of the guardians, of who I won't tell you, but it is your job to help protect the earth. You're Moonfire, Moonfire's magic is your power, use it against evil, and I will help you, just be prepared for this evil." Tyler explained.

Calica just stood there, this was too much, she hardly even knew who she was. Tyler just turned around and walked away and left Calica to ponder what he had said.
