Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ Let's be in Hell togather... ❯ The Arcade Trip ( Chapter 2 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

"Hm? Did you say something Ms. Kaiou?" Bulma asked. Michiru blinked
and shook her head.

"No...ah...no." She stammered, putting the sketch pad up. Trunks
shrugged.

"Ah well. Bye Mom, I'm gonna hang out at the Crown Game Center with
Goten." Trunks said. Haruka grabbed his jacket.

"No! You said I could go with you!" She whined. Bulma looked to her
son. Trunks groaned. Haruka always wanted to hang out with him. She
acted more like a boy than anything. It was strange, but she was,
after all, a Saiyan. God only knew WHAT his parents were doing when
she was conceived, so he shrugged it off.

"All right, all right. I'll take you to the Arcade after your Piano
lessons." He said. Haruka smiled brightly. Michiru's eyes became light
again. After five long years, they had met again. She stood and walked
to the piano, lightly hitting a key. She smiled and sat in a chair
next to the bench. Haruka walked over as well and with a little
difficulty, managed to get into the seat.

"Okay. First I'll show you how your hands go. Take your right hand,
this one, and put your thumb here. This is Middle C. Place your other
four fingers on the next key. One finger to each key." Michiru
explained. Haruka did so. Michiru smiled.

"Okay. Now you hit each key once, one after the other, until your
little finger plays the G key." She instructed. Haruka did so.

"Okay. Now do it backwards." She said. Haruka did so, making a few
little mistakes here and there. Michiru smiled.

"Mrs. Breifs, I have a recital to go to. I am sorry for cutting this
lesson so short. I want Haruka to practice that. I'll be back next
week." Michiru explained. The truth was, she was going to cry from
happiness. Bulma nodded.

"All right. Do good at the recital." She said. Michiru nodded and
left. Trunks picked his sister up.

"Okay 'Ruka. Will you promise to be good?" He asked. Haruka nodded.
Trunks walked out the door and flew off. Bulma went to close the Piano
lid, when she noticed something inside the Piano. Reaching in, she
pulled out a small book, with the word 'Diary' on it.

'This must have belonged to Sailor Uranus.' Bulma realised. She opened
it to the first page and scanned through it. What she saw on the first
line stunned her so badly, she forgot to breathe.

In Tokyo...

"Okay runt. Here we are." Trunks said, landing infront of the
building. Haruka smiled. Trunks placed her on the ground, and gave her
a little bag.

"Okay. There's some money in there. Use it to get some tokens." He
said, messing with her hair. Haruka pushed his hand away and smoothed
her hand down. Trunks laughed and pushed her towards the door. The
glass doors opene and the two Demi-Saiyans walked in. Haruka smiled
and hurried to the counter as Trunks went to the coffee shop on the
second level.

"'Scuse me mister." Haruka told the man behind the counter. She held
onto the counter top, and stood on her tip toes to see over the
counter. She barely could. The man looked down at her and smiled.

"Hey kid. What can I get for ya?" He asked. Haruka put a five dollar
bill on the counter.

"Can I have some tokens for the games?" She asked. The man took the
money and gave her some game tokens. Haruka put them in the little
bag.

"Thank you." She said and went to find one of the kid games. The man
chuckled and went back to work. Haruka looked around and spotted one
of the early Sailor V games. She sat at it, popped a token in, and
began to play. Just then five girls walked in.

"Hey! Usagi, long time!" The man said, waving. Usagi smiled and leaned
into the counter.

"Hi Motoki! Gee, it's been a really long time since I've been in
here." Usagi said. Motoki nodded.

"Five years, one day, and two hours, not that I'm counting." He said.
Usagi giggled and placed a twenty on the counter and got her tokens.
Makoto looked towards the back, and saw the little girl at the Sailor
V game. She giggled.

"How cute." She said and pointed. The little girl obviously lost and
had run out of tokens. She climbed off the stool and walked back to
the front.

"'Scuse me again mister." She said, putting another five on the table.

"Can I have some more tokens please?" She asked politely. Motoki gave
her the tokens. The little girl smiled.

"Thank you!" She giggled happily, and went back to the game. Ami
realized she had seen this girl before.

"Girls. Doesn't she look familiar?" Ami whispered. Minako looked
again. She noticed it too.

"Yea. The kid's familiar all right. But where have we seen her?" She
asked. The little girl grew tired of the game and walked away from the
game machines, until she stopped at the crane game and looked in.
There was a toy bunny that had caught her eye. Unfortunatly she was
too small, and she wasn't supposed to disturb her brother. Noticing
the upset look on her face, Makoto walked over.

"Hi kiddo. What's wrong?" She asked. Haruka pointed at the toy.

"I like that toy, but I'm too little to play the game, and my brother
is hanging out with his friends." She admitted. Makoto smiled

"Well, I'll win it for ya!" She stated. Haruka smiled happily, her
eyes widdening.

"Really?" The five year old asked. Makoto nodded.

"Hey Usagi. Gimme some tokens." She said. Usagi gave her ten. Makoto
pouted.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence Odango." Makoto said. Usagi turned
red. Makoto began to play the game. Eight Tokens later she won the Toy
Bunny, along with a Sailor Uranus doll for Michiru. Haruka took the
toy and hugged it tightly. The smile on her face was all the thanks
Makoto needed.

"So what'cha gonna call it?" Makoto asked. Rei chimed in.

"Yea. A toy that nice needs a nice name." She said. Haruka looked at
the toy and back at the five older girls. Unknowingly her eyes fell on
Usagi. A name just popped into the girl's head.

"Koneko." She said and went to the second level to show her brother
what she had just received.

" 'Koneko'? That's an odd name for a rabbit." Usagi said. Ami snapped
her fingers.

"Wait a second girls! There's only one person we know who would call
an Usagi a Koneko!" She said. Usagi thought. Her eyes went wide.

"You mean that kid is...Haruka?"
