Status: Unfinished
Year Completed: N/A
Comments: Hi everyone! Thank you to Confess  who pointed out that I had mentioned several times by Mamoru's mention of kissing Usagi in the alley, that he had revealed he was Mamoru.  I have revised Chapter Three and Four to account for that.  Let's just put it down to Mamoru being upset and angry rather than his stupidity.  O.o  I wouldn't want to make this a Mamo-chan bashing Fanfic.   LOL.  Only two more Chapters to go.  And yes, going into his room to find pictures of Sailor Moon everywhere would be very creepy.   Lucky that Usagi is almost in love with him, huh?
Sailor Star Dust, no I didn't know about the age of consent in Japan being fourteen.  Wow, that's so young!  Here in Australia it's sixteen, so I thought I'd be safe and put her not far off from her birthday.  I'd just feel weird writing an adult scene about a fourteen year old.

Chapter Five
_________________________________________________________________ ____
His whole bearing betrayed suppressed violence and for the first time, Usagi wondered if it had been an awfully stupid thing to do in enraging him. She did not really know this man, after all.
But then anger filled her and she returned his look, blue eyes fizzling with indignation and resentment. This entire situation was of his own making and anything that she did to him, he fully deserved!
"Shut up, Mamoru. And untie me right this minute." She growled at him, struggling with the ropes binding her. She rocked her chair back and forth experimentally. With her knees up like that, she should be able to fall over to the floor and inch the ropes over the top. Usagi knew she would only get one chance. And frankly, she had had a very long and stressful day and wanted nothing more than to be out of Mamoru's presence.
Unfortunately, her anger seemed to have an opposite effect. And probably also the fact that he felt he no longer needed to hide his true nature from her now that she knew him to be the guy she argued with frequently. Mamoru the jerk emerged in full force.
"I think I'll leave you tied up for while, thank you." He replied tauntingly, eyes running over her form with scathing thoroughness.
Usagi felt humiliated under that look and was unable to repress the urge to throttle him. "Ooh! When I get out of here-" She growled, fingers flexing behind her, hidden from his gaze. Mamoru was really going to get his own back when she was free.
The blonde calmed abruptly, as she had taught herself to do during battle. One mistake there and death was a surety. She began again to look around the room for a weapon. Or perhaps if she knocked herself over, the dining chair would splinter. It was worth a try.
Her calculating blue eyes fell on the darkness beyond Mamoru's balcony and her breath sucked in with shock. The moon was up and was obvious that it was past sunset by a few hours. Her mother would be scared stiff by then, wondering where she was. She had probably called the other Senshi already, and they too would be concerned and most likely out looking for her.
Ami...she would find her with the Mercury computer. This was not good. If the Senshi were to break into the apartment and see their Leader tied up, they would attack Mamoru without even blinking. The stupid man was in danger and didn't even realise it.
The girl eyed him steadily, wondering if she should warn him of his impending doom.
"What makes you think you're getting out? Hmm?" He said, half-seriously. "Since you're a Dark Kingdom agent, I have to kill you."
As a spark of fear and anger lit her expressive eyes, Mamoru felt like a real bastard. He could almost believe that Usagi was totally innocent in all this. Almost.
No, she had changed her mind-the jerk deserved whatever he got!
"What?" Usagi demanded, throwing him a burning look. "Kill me? I seriously doubt that you have that in you, Mamoru." She replied scathingly.
That girl was far too smart for her own good, and once again Mamoru wondered if he had not totally blundered in his assessment of her intelligence. The way she was watching him, blue eyes filled with contempt, was like a stinging whip. No, he could not kill her, even if she was a Dark Kingdom General. But as far as she would ever know, Usagi had nothing but his hatred of her. She would never find out that he cared for her-especially since their encounter in the alley.
Why had he kissed her that way? Everything would have been so cut and dried by then if they had just gone on being two people who had arguments and rubbed each other wrong. So much had changed with a single kiss. And damn her, she must know this, because she had been kissing Mamoru, who she now knew was Tuxedo Kamen.
"Fine!" He practically bellowed at her, mind unable to come up with any brilliant comebacks. What was it about this girl that just made him feel like an awkward schoolboy?
"Then, we just until the Rainbow Crystals are all found-and the Princess." He finished slowly, taking in calming breaths. It would not do to be uneasy or hesitant around her. She was of the Dark Kingdom, after all.
And he, still had a mission to fulfil.
"The Princess?" Usagi stared at him, startled out of her thoughts. "You know about the Moon Princess?" She whispered with disbelief. This was just getting more and more complicated by the second. If Tuxedo Kamen knew about their Princess, then perhaps he was the enemy.
She stiffened and looked at him with cation, calculating how best to tackle this new problem. If she could find out what this man knew about their Princess, then she could protect her better. The other Senshi might also be able to find her before Tuxedo Kamen and the Dark Kingdom.
"You know about the Moon Princess too?" Mamoru practically fell back onto the couch in stunned amazement. He looked at her incredulously, feeling as if the floor had fallen out from under his feet. If the Dark Kingdom was so well-informed about the Princess, then she was in the gravest danger. He quickly reassessed his relationship with the Sailor Senshi and considered an alliance.
But first, he needed to find out everything this little spy knew. Perhaps the invasion of the aliens to their dimension was more imminent than he and the Senshi had ever realised. The thought sent chills down Mamoru's spine.
"I had no idea that the Dark Kingdom was so well informed." His said carefully, with eyes narrowed in a thoroughly assessing manner. "What else do you all know?" He asked her forcefully, dark gaze pinning her to her chair. What was Odango Atama not telling him? And why did it have to be her that was the Dark Kingdom spy?
Mamoru felt a stab to his heart. The girl he'd just been unbelievably intimate with in an alley? Someone he had believed he could perhaps fall in love with one day. It was just all so terrible and a nightmare. Such a sweet face was hiding a black heart of an alien spy who's people wanted to conquer the world.
Bile rose in his throat and he almost choked on it. "Oh god, why?" He said under his breath, eyed pained. He looked away from her to hide his expression.
"N-Nothing." Usagi's eyes skittered from side to side nervously, wrists twisting against the binding rope. Once again, she had put her foot in it. But really, wasn't it to be expected when she'd found out that Mamoru was Tuxedo Kamen? Sure, he hadn't seen her de-transform in that alley, but being thought a spy for those horrible aliens invading their planet from another dimension was worse.
And she had to keep her mouth shut about who she really was. Luna would kill her and Mamoru would be totally shell-shocked if he found out she was really the Sailor Suited Heroine of Tokyo.
The blonde girl frowned in thought, ignoring him for a moment. Why exactly was she keeping that secret from him? He'd kissed her and touched her like a lover, he was her big obsession Tuxedo Kamen, and it would bode well in battle if they were on better terms.
The biggest hang-up she had was that he'd dared to say that she worked for Queen Beryl. Mamoru knew her! He bashed into her each day, argued with her and not half an hour ago, his lips had been devouring hers in a very scary, if exciting manner. Usagi was also aware that Tuxedo Kamen liked Sailor Moon.
No, it wouldn't do! If he wouldn't trust her after all they'd been through then she wasn't about to inform him who she really was. That said, the petite girl's chin rose proudly and she gave him her steeliest stare.
The handsome upperclassman's mouth dropped open slightly as he took in her face. Just minutes ago she'd been speaking the one who had been yelling and upset that he was Tuxedo Kamen. Denying she was a Dark Kingdom spy and was only an innocent girl. But then they had spoken of the Princess and something had changed. Something he could not quit put his finger on. If he had not known better, Mamoru would have taken her words and expressions for wariness of him regarding the Moon Princess.
Usagi had obviously come to some decision, which was clear as day in her eyes. This wouldn't do at all. He was the one in control there, not her.
Mamoru scowled down at her, once again hit by her betrayal. It hurt; knowing he'd been making out with someone who he loathed. An invading force from another dimension, bent on dominating the world. But he had to admit it was brilliant using a fifteen year old as a spy, if that really was her age. Who was ever going to suspect anything under that undeniably gorgeous face and innocent eyes?
What he wanted to really know, was how Usagi had become entangled up in that lot. Or was she not human and just appeared to be, like Zoisite? It was a very big coincidence that the first time they'd met and her test had hit his head, was about the same time that he first became Tuxedo Kamen. Of course, Mamoru hadn't remembered that fact at the time.
Mamoru's eyes glittered down at the blonde in acute dislike. It was stomach-churning, the way she had planned it all. Usagi had deliberately inserted herself into his life, knowing that he wasn't human like the others on earth-baring the Senshi-and then continued to monitor him every day. How could she do that? She obviously had as little heart as Zoisite had displayed. And it was still an enigma why she hadn't attacked him by then. He had given her enough provocation.
Perhaps Tsukino Usagi was a Youma under that skin? Without realising what he was doing, he had leant forward and poked at her cheek, testing it's softness. It felt real enough.
"What are you doing?" Usagi demanded, shying back from his bizarre behaviour. He was prodding at her face as if it weren't real. Blue eyes popped wide as she followed that thought. Good god, but Mamoru thought she was some Dark Kingdom monster now, wearing a human mask. Her blood chilled in her veins as she considered the possibility that he might try to cut her 'mask' off. She paled rapidly, fighting back tears.
"Mercury, please find me quickly." She prayed fervently under her breath, abruptly scared stiff of her captor. Mamoru could be as ruthless as Zoisite sometimes and even Tuxedo Kamen had betrayed that coldness.
"It's...real." She told Mamoru tentatively, watching him like a rabbit being hunted down by a fox.
"I'll be the one to judge that." He replied coolly, eyes emotionless. Mamoru studied her face, then her neck and the rest of her body. She had felt real, but then the Youma's had also before revealing their true forms.
It was then that the dark-haired man noticed the acute fear in the blonde's eyes, and it gave him pause. What on earth had made her so afraid of him all of a sudden? It troubled him deeply that he had scared her, even though he needed her to be that way to get information out of her. But it revolted him, the methods he might have to use. Could he truly torture this girl he knew so well?
Obviously, the same thought was on her mind as she watched him.
The handsome man weighed his options for a long moment, seeing the wariness creeping into her blue eyes at his continued hard stare and silence. Dare he do it? His skin crawled at the thought of what he was about to do, revolted at the thought of resorting to this to get the information he wanted out of her.
But it wouldn't be entirely distasteful, he reminded himself in a corner of his mind. Mamoru had already sampled what Usagi had and it had aroused him beyond believe. Absently, he wondered if she was even the fifteen years old she looked and had informed him off. What if this wasn't even what she looked like-just a skin looking like a pretty blonde, but with a Youma underneath. Another Zoisite.
"You disgust me." Tuxedo Kamen spoke quietly, without thought.
Usagi had been sitting as quiet as a mouse, not liking the look in Tuxedo Kamen's face at all and waiting for him to speak again. She expected more arguing or even pain if his curiosity and ruthlessness got a hold on him.
And even maybe more attempts at escape with the final conclusion of revealing that she was Sailor Moon and maybe a few kisses.
But this! Her whole expression crumpled in one crushing moment. He was disgusted with her! Oh lord, no.
Her lips trembled, her eyes filled with tears and her whole body slumped in an attempt to curl into itself in loathing. "Not this." she whispered to herself. Anything but Tuxedo Kamen having a hate and revulsion of her, after all they'd shared.
He couldn't know! Her pride brought her back up and blinked the tears from her eyes. She would not let Mamoru do this to her self-confidence, no matter what had transpired between them. Only he had the pain to hurt her this way, having been both Mamoru and Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi was Sailor Moon and she had nothing to be ashamed of, whatever he thought. It felt like the inside of her chest was clenching from the heart-ache, but she had to stand tall.
And after this show of utter contempt for herself, there was no way in hell Mamoru was ever finding out that the was the saviour of Tokyo. There was absolutely nothing that could coerce this or any other information about the Princess or other Senshi things from her.
Tuxedo Kamen's eyes narrowed on the girl as she first tried tears-which miraculously dried up before falling, a good trick he had to admit-and then when she realised his face was still as hard as stone, she tried looking aloof. Well it wouldn't work! He had already decided what was to be done, and as much as it galled him he would do it. Do it for his beautiful world and all their people.
He would seduce Usagi and get the information out of her.
"Oh, I disgust you huh?" Usagi spat at him, eyes full of mockery. "Then I wonder that you kept kissing me in the alley after you knew I wasn't Sailor Moon!"
There, let him try and respond to that one. Mamoru had hurt her by saying those words and she wanted to wound him back.
"I had no idea I was kissing the lips of a filthy Dark Kingdom spy." The upperclassman growled back, wondering how the hell he was going to go about seducing a girl who held him in obvious dislike. But once he touched her, she seemed to burn.
Well, they would both be getting over their dislike soon enough, if he had anything to say about it...or rather, do. He would kiss and caress her till she begged him to stop, then he would get every little bit of information out of her about her people that he could.
Mamoru fought back his natural rebellion of such a cowardly act, but this was a war and he was out to win. If nothing else, he could do it for Sailor Moon, who Usagi so maligned with her words. His golden-haired angel would benefit from this, but he would certainly never, ever, tell her what he had done with the enemy. She would never forgive him.
"You and the Dark Kingdom thing." The girl sighed at him, looking away. "Is it that important to you, Mamoru?" She questioned softly, sadness hidden in her eyes by her fringe. Perhaps it would be better to just surrender. It was beginning to tire her out, constantly having to be on guard. She would have been more frightened if it had been Jaedite or Kunzite or Nephlyte holding her prisoner and didn't believe deep inside that Mamoru would hurt her.
Mamoru eyed her incredulously, eyes filled with suspicion. She had sounded so lost and forlorn then and he wanted so badly to believe they were real emotions but there was no way that they were. He could not trust what his eyes saw or his ears heard of this Dark Kingdom creature. How he was going to force himself to kiss her, he wasn't sure.
It was maybe not so unfortunate that they seemed to have a natural attraction for each other and how they missed it for all those months during their fights was a mystery.
Or wait-what if it had been a spell?
"Did you put some spell on me?" He demanded of her, mouth tightening ominously. That would explain everything!
Usagi turned her head back towards her enemy and looked at him as if he'd grown a second head. "Are you crazy? What on earth are you talking about?"
"You didn't seem to find our sudden attraction very strange?" He asked her curtly, crossing his arms. He watched her face carefully as she replied and found her blushing again.
"Of course I did, you idiot!" The blonde stormed at him. "I tried to get away as I recall and you pulled me back down-on top of you!"
How very convenient and also very truthful. He had indeed pulled her down on top of him. And then proceeded to make love to her again.
Mamoru sighed and ran a hand over his face, feeling utterly weary. This whole affair was tiring him out. "Look, Usagi-or whatever you name really is-" He began.
"My name is Tsukino Usagi, which means rabbit of the moon. I'm fifteen going on sixteen in three days. I have a brother Shingo who's a little brat, but I love him anyway, and two parents who annoy me, but I love also. I have four friends which you've already met, Makoto, Rei, Ami and Naru. I have a cat called Luna. I suck at School, but I'm really trying and my teacher Miss Haruna is a date freak. I hang out at Motoki's place after School and argue with you. And sometimes-" She broke off her hurried dialogue, realising she was about to tell Mamoru that she went to battle and fought Youma's beside him.
"Yes?" The upperclassman said intently, leaning forward. She had been about to tell him something important, he sensed. But she had stopped right in the middle of her desperate attempt to tell him her fictitious life.
It had been interesting to hear about her 'family' thought. He would have to look into that. The phone book should prove where the blonde lived and if she was indeed a member of a family. It was possible the poor people even thought that Usagi was their real daughter. Tuxedo Kamen would be best to break the news to them and maybe he could persuade Sailor Moon to come along for a softer blow.
"You were saying?" He went on impatiently as her lips clamped shut and she stared past him blankly into the night sky.
"I need to call my parents and let them know I'm okay." Usagi said abruptly, looking him right in the eyes. "Whether you believe I have parents or not, there are those who care for me that are worrying about my location right now."
Mamoru frowned at her sceptically. "This is a trick, isn't it? The number you'll call will be to some other agent of the Dark Kingdom."
"You're very thick for a medical student, jerk." She informed him loftily, trying to hide her anxiety. This could be her only chance to calm her mother and father before they called the police. "Unless you want the media and police and all our friends looking for me?" The blonde suggested sweetly.
"I highly doubt the media will care about a fifteen year old runaway." Mamoru said ruthlessly. His eyebrows rose. "How are you going to prove to me that you really do have parents and that's who you're calling?"
She looked at him for such a long moment that he thought she had given up on her tricks, but then she smiled. A smile filled with triumph.
"Call them yourself," Usagi said innocently. "Our number is in the phone book. K and I Tsukino."  She paused.  "We already went through this earlier, you know."  Her blue eyes rolled skyward.
The upperclassman met her gaze and smiled back, but it was not a pleasant smile. "So we did, but I don't believe a word of it."
"Is it my fault you're missing some brain cells?"  The golden-haired girl retorted, totally exasperated.  Was Mamoru really this dumb or was he just confused by everything that had happened.
For a moment, she put herself in his shoes and it made her frown.  She had broken into Tuxedo Kamen's apartment, having followed him home, and he had no idea how a normal girl could have landed on a balcony eight floors up.  She had spoken of the Senshi, the Dark Kingdom and the Moon Princess.  And at some stage, he was going to figure out that she already knew he was Mamoru and that he had given away his identity a couple of times.
Why on earth hadn't it occurred to him that she could be a Sailor Senshi?  Her eyes bore into his face with displeasure because the answer was glaringly clear.   Chiba Mamoru would not believe in a million years that she was Sailor Moon!
"Very well then, let's call these people." Mamoru went on after a moment.   Usagi had first looked at him in exasperation, then contemplation and then her face had betrayed anger.  What on earth was she thinking?  He ran a hand through his thick hair in distraction, eyes irritated.
She was a damned mystery and his brain was going overtime thinking how to deal with her.  He had very briefly considered that Usagi had something to do with the Senshi, but had discounted it.  She was an idiot and a klutz, not matter what she was.  And that was the bottom line!  The blonde was far too dangerous to let go because of what she knew about him and the Senshi and the Moon Princess.  This was his chance to find out what they knew.
Mamoru turned away to the table next to his couch and pulled out a draw. Inside was the phone book. He opened it and went through the pages until he found the right one. "T...Tsukino K and I."  His eyebrows came together.  "Kenji and Ikuko right?  That's what you said your parents names were?"
His voice was deceptively soft, his alter-ego taking charge.  Mamoru watched Usagi sharply as she answered, seeing if her eyes pointed to the left when she answered.   People who were searching their memory had their eyes go to the right, and those who were making something up looked to the left.  Thank god his psychology class had come in handy.  If only he could figure out what her game was.
Usagi breathed a sigh of relief as Mamoru found her parents in the phone book. Now he would call them and everything would be fine. She hid an evil grin as she realised what would happen if her father answered the phone.  "Of course they are!"   She replied, looking him right in the eyes.  The returning gaze her was aiming at her was a little frightening.  Mamoru was deadly focused.  She realised that it was Tuxedo Kamen looking at her and she stiffened.  That man was far more dangerous than the upperclassman she had come to know.  As with her Sailor Moon persona, Mamoru also had a different personality when he was transformed.
"Well, it's very clever of you, I'll admit, but do you really think these people are going to know what I'm talking about if I ring them?" The man said, undoing his bow-tie and throwing it to the side. The dark-haired man unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt and sighed in an almost sensual pleasure. It was so damned hot in the tuxedo. He wished he could de-transform, but maybe that was just what Usagi was wating for. He was stronger and faster in that form, and he had his roses.
"Go ahead and dial, will you!" She snapped at him, frowning. "You may not have anyone to come home to, but I do."
Mamoru paused in the act of getting off the couch to go and make the phone call. He slowly turned to face the blonde, eyes like icicles. "And what do you know about that?" He asked her in a voice so cold, he saw her shiver in reaction. Did the Dark Kingdom also know he was an orphan? Had Usagi already known that he was Mamoru?
"Know? I have no idea what you're talking about-as usual." Usagi glared back, refusing to feel intimidated despite the very scary look he was shooting her. "You obviously don't live with anyone." She added in exasperation as he continued to give her the coldest look she had ever witnessed.  "This is a bachelors pad, like Motoki always mentioned."
His lips firmed and he barely restrained himself from going over and shaking her till her teeth rattled. Did he really believe her so innocent excuse? And did he have a choice?   Using Motoki's name had been a brilliant stroke on her part, he had to admit.
"I'll be back in a minute. What's your...father's name?" Mamoru shot out quickly, hoping she'd blurt out another name.  He was rapidly losing patience with the game. So much for seducing her, when she threw the family values in his face!
"His name is Kenji!  How many times do I have to say it, Mamoru?" Usagi called after him, tone clearly indicating he was a moron. But then she blinked as something occurred to her and her eyes became openly anxious. "Please don't tell him-well, you know." She went on awkwardly, looking down at herself.
"That you're a Dark Kingdom spy impersonating a human and I have you hog-tied to a chair in my lounge?" Mamoru called back dryly, reaching for the phone.
"Idiot." The blonde muttered under her breath. Well, he'd learn soon enough. Her father would give him what-for!  It was bewildering with the constant asking of the same questions.  How many times did she have to explain about her family?  He had been watching her so strangely as she spoke, almost as if expecting something.
The dark-haired man carefully dialled in the number and then waited. It ran precisely once and then was picked up. Very suspicious!
"Hello? Is that you, Usagi?" A woman's voice said anxiously from the other end.
Mamoru frowned, taken-aback. So Usagi did live at that address. Or at least A Usagi. It was very possible that the Dark Kingdom had stolen someone's name. "Hello, Ikuko?  I mean Mrs. Tsukino?" He said hesitantly, not sure what to do now that there was someone on the other end.
"Yes, this is she. Can I help you?" Mrs. Tsukino went on, composing herself. "I'm so sorry, I thought you were my daughter."
The upperclassman's mouth opened, then closed and he frowned thoughtfully. "I am calling about Usagi." He admitted. "She's alright and staying with a friend."
This was not turning out as he had thought and it disturbed him.
"She's with a friend on a School night?" The woman said incredulously. "She didn't even ask to stay over. Naughty girl."
A long pause.
"Who is this please and how do you know my daughter?" Mrs. Tsukino demanded in a soft suspicious voice.
"I'm...also a friend. Usagi-" He hesitated, making it up as he went. Somehow, bizarrely, Usagi did have parents and he could tell genuine concern when he heard it. "She klutzed out and hit her head. She's at Ami's place."
Oh wonderful! Lie to the woman and also insult her daughter at the same time. Mamoru winced and held his breath, waiting for an explosion.
"Oh Usagi!" The woman scolded fondly. "Again? Well, please let Ami know that I would like them to stop by in the morning. By the way, are you a relative?"
Again?!  Mamoru gaped at the kitchen wall, stunned.  This was Usagi's mother?  Didn't she care at all that her daughter might have a concussion?   His eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"I er-I'm Ami's cousin, Ketaro." The dark-haired man lied smoothly, wondering where he got the courage. He had never told so many fibs in his life! Brought up at the orphanage instilled with manners and lying was a sin. Not that he was religious or anything, but he couldn't help the manners he'd been brought up with.
It occurred to him belatedly, that if this woman was not his Usagi's mother, she wouldn't have a clue who Ami was.
"Thank you for letting us know, Ketaro. We were close to calling the police." She paused for a moment and then went on. "It's strange, but her friend Rei called earlier wanting to know where she was."
"Rei was here earlier, Mrs Tsukino. They were fighting as usual." Mamoru chuckled as if remembering an amusing scene. And it hadn't been hard, since he'd witnessed Rei and Usagi fight all the time.
"It's a form of love, you know." The woman sighed fondly. "Those girls are as close as sisters."
Mamoru frowned, something nagging at the back of his mind. But at that moment, he was focusing all his attention into making this woman believe his fabrication. What was stranger, was that Usagi had not cried out once to alert the woman that something was wrong.
Wait a minute, what if the blonde had used this time to escape again!
"Mrs. Tsukino, I have to go now. Dinner is burning." He said urgently.
"Of course, dear. Thank you again for letting me know."
"A boy? Was that a boy on the phone, Ikuko? I'll kill him!"
Mamoru took the phone from his ear and stared at it. Had that been Usagi's father, Kenji?  Because he had sounded homicidal! Blue eyes narrowed. Perhaps the Odango Atama had been hoping that man would answer and shout at him. Wasn't she the sly one?
He swiftly hung up and strode back into the lounge, stopping dead when he saw that she hadn't moved. Mamoru quickly scanned the area to see if anything had been disturbed, but everything seemed to be in place.
Usagi looked up from her contemplation of the pleats in her skirt. "Well?" She said dryly. "Are you convinced I have a family now? I heard you lying through your teeth to my mother." She hesitated and then bit her lip. "Thank you." She said almost inaudibly.
Mamoru blinked rapidly, then sat down hard on the couch before her. This was getting more and more complicated and confusing. Apparently, this little Dark Kingdom spy not only had a family, but a close network of friends. Was it possible to brainwash so many people? He was beginning to wonder if he hadn't made some awful mistake.
Which left the question; how the hell did Usagi know all about the Dark Kingdom and how had she followed him home? "Alright, Usagi, I think it's time we had a nice long talk, and no more trying to distract me away from it." He said firmly, setting his back against the softness of the cushion and looking at the blonde intently.
"You're the one who's been playing around. Trying to yell, then kiss the answers out of me." Usagi flushed as she realised what she'd said. She wiggled in her bonds and glared at him. "If you want answers, you'd better untie me."
"If I untie you, you'll bash me over the head, won't you?" Mamoru gazed at her sardonically.
"Naturally! You tied me up like some animal, put your hands and lips where no one ever-" She choked on her words and amended them swiftly before he noticed. "Where no one would dare to touch me, then you interrogate me like I'm some alien monster out to conquer the world!"
Usagi glared at him balefully, trying to make her blush go away. She should have tried to escape while Mamoru had been on the phone to her mom. The blonde scowled at her stupidness. Instead of listening in with glee his stuttering conversation with her mother, she should have been barricading herself in his bedroom!
On second thought, maybe she didn't want to be locked into a shrine of herself! Mamoru had serious stalking issues she'd have to take him to task over one day...but not today. No, right then, her only priority was getting free before her Senshi arrived and beat the idiot into a bloody pulp.
Somewhere inside, that appealed to her and she gave a vicious grin.
Mamoru eyed the blood-thirsty smile she was giving him and shuddered. Now he could believe that she was a Dark Kingdom spy! If that wasn't an evil grin, he'd eat his hat. "I changed my mind. I think I'm safer with you like that." He told her, waiting for her to blow up at him.
"What? You're going to leave me like this all night? Are you some psycho?" The golden-haired girl shouted at him, struggling in her bonds. Her knees ached from being held up in that position for so long and she suspected that no only did she have rope burns, but that she'd rubbed her skin raw and her wrists were bleeding. She had been in much more pain from battling with the Dark Kingdom though, and so said nothing.
Her Senshi would have been so proud.
Usagi's smile faded and she gave Mamoru a world-weary look. "Goodnight then." She told him, closing her eyes and assuming he'd leave her and go to bed. She would make the best of her awkward position and not give him the satisfaction of knowing she was in discomfort and pain.
The handsome man watched her cautiously and with some surprise. Usagi genuinely assumed that he was going to go to bed and leave her tied that way.
He honestly had no idea about what the think any more. Was this girl a Dark Kingdom spy who had infiltrated this planet or a totally innocent girl? The later made him feel sick to his stomach. If he had really done all this to a very human, fifteen year old girl, he would never forgive himself!
"Usagi..." He whispered, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees. His head was practically between her spread legs and he tried hard not to look down to her underpants and thighs. Mamoru wondered why he hadn't untied her legs earlier and let her down. Had he really been enjoying her discomfort and provocative pose somewhere deep inside even as he was despising the girl for being a creature of another world?
"Yeah?" The golden-haired girl muttered, out of charity with him and suddenly very tired. "Can we please leave the interrogation till tomorrow?"
"Alright." Mamoru said, frowning. But he couldn't leave her like that-could he? His blue eyes went over her form, from her dishevelled blonde hair, to her top which showed an enticing cleavage, to her skirt ridden up to her waist because her long legs were tied at the top of the chair legs at the feet, splaying her limbs open wide. Because she was probably exhausted from trying to keep her legs together, she appeared to have given up entirely and just let them lay open, exposing her panties.
The upperclassman wondered if she even realised what she was doing-and how utterly tempting she appeared!
Shaking his head, he got up and leant over her, pulling a rose from his sub-space pocket. Weirdly, she didn't even ask how he'd pulled the flower from thin air. But her blue eyes did widen in apprehension as he lowered the razor sharp stem to her ankles.
"What are you doing?" Usagi whispered as the rose hovered over her delicate skin. But then he cut through the ropes binding her and she gasped as her legs fell free. The blood began to rush back into her limbs and she bit back a harsh groan of pain. Her legs had gone numb from their awkward position.
"Does it hurt?" Mamoru asked gently, sympathetic. She might be his enemy, but she was only fifteen. He proceeded to cut the bonds about her waist, shoulders and wrists.
Usagi bit back more moans of pain as her shoulders and arms protested. She almost couldn't feel them as she brought them to rest on her lap, but blood was beginning to move through her veins and a horrible tingling ensued. She was too tired to even move. "Do you care about a Dark Kingdom spy?" She asked him seriously, eyes dark with fatigue.
He went still. "Are you admitting it?" Mamoru asked her, heart sinking. Had he worn her out to the point where she was admitting she was his enemy?
