Chapter 2: New Identity

Serena was strolling through town. It's been a week since she's been in the states, and she was on her way to get a milkshake with the girls. Serena, being the friendly type, decided it would be cool for Lita and Amy to meet Mina and Ray. She had everything planned out. With a smile on her face, she started to skip down the street.

`Hopefully they'll get along' she thought, `I think Amy and Lita and Mina will get along, hopefully Amy and Lita can get along with Ray and her temper.' Her worried thoughts were interrupted by some noise coming from a parking lot.

"He he he, now let's see if it can get that off," a little boy smirked.

Serena walked over to the group of little boys. When seeing what they were doing, her joyous mood turned nasty. "You little trouble makers! Leave that poor kitty alone!" she yelled. Upon hearing her, the little boys scattered. Serena gazed down at the little black cat. The boys had stuck two bandages on its forehead in the shape of an "X." Seeing the cat trying to take it off, she gently picked it up and tried taking it off. "Poor kitty, did those mean boys hurt you?" Serena then finally removed the bandages.

Her breath caught in her throat. When gazing down at the small creature, she saw this strange crescent moon on the cat's forehead. Feeling the urge to touch it, she slowly reached for it, not to scare her, "Hey kitty you have a…." but before she could finish her sentence, a scene appeared in front of her.

She was standing on a white balcony, gazing out. `What shall I do?' she whispered to herself. When saying this, and figure in the shadows appeared below her. This brought a smile to her face. The figure came out of the shadow. It was a young handsome man in armor. `Edymond….' She whispered. He smiled up at her, `Serenity…'

"Meow," the cat brought her back from the scene. The crescent mooned cat leapt out of her hands and on to a car near by. It started to stare at her as if it was studying her. This made Serena shutter back. Her watch then rang 3:30.

"Oh no!" Serena exclaimed. Forgetting the staring cat, she started to run towards the Crown. "Oh Ray's going to kill-" but before she could finish her sentence, she turned sharp around a corner and slammed right into someone. [Can you guess who? ^_^ ]

"I'm so sorry, so sorry, I was running late-" she started to apologize with her hand bowed down and her hands together in front of her. She stopped when she heard a little chuckle. `No, why me?' she whined while looking at the chuckler.

"Geez Meatball Head. You should really watch where you are going. You might not run into someone as nice as me," Darien joked above her.

Serena jumped up and straightened out her clothes. "As nice as you," she said sarcastically, "whatever. I'll just leave you and your big ego alone." She started to walk away, looking over her shoulder, she said, "and my name is Serena, or can't you get that in your small brain?" She continued to walk away.

Darien yelled at her backside, "I know your name….MEATBALL HEAD!"

Serena started to mumble to herself and Darien saw it from afar. He chuckled and continued to stare her until she was out of sight. "Oh Meatball Head, why do you act that why towards me?" he asked to no one.

`Because you are such a jerk to her,' an inner voice told him.

"I can't help it," he defended himself. "She's just so cute-wait a minute, why am I talking to myself, and why am I talking to myself about Meatball Head?" he paused at the thought. Rubbing his head, he then said, "Getting hit by Meatball Head must be messing up my brain." He than walked toward his apartment.

Serena walked into the Crown, a little irritated. Everyday he would tease her about her hair and she would always slam into him. It was like daily ritual. "Yeah, that I don't like," she mumbled to herself while entering the place. When she entered, she was greeted with the same welcoming she always got from Ray.

"Meatball brains, where have you been?" Ray questioned with her hands on her hips. Serena looked over at her, and just picked a both and sat down. "Hey, don't ignore me!" Ray yelled while sitting across from her.

"Where's Mina?" Serena tried to change the subject. It worked.

"Where else?" Ray said sarcastically, and then pointed her thumb towards the counter.

Serena followed her thumb to see Mina giggling with Andrew. Ken and Greg were there, and saw Serena and Ray. Ken then put a finger in his open mouth, pretending to gag at the two lovebirds. Greg was chuckling. Andrew saw this and hit them both beside the head.

Serena started to laugh at the event. "This group is never boring," Ray joked.

Remembering that Amy and Lita will be here soon, Serena decided to tell Ray. "Hey Ray, you don't mind if I invited a couple of more friends to go shopping with us?"

"Sure, Mina will probably be more than happy to play dress up with more human dolls," Ray joked.

"I heard that," Mina said with her hands on her hips looking at the two. "So I have two new dolls to play with?" she continued with the joke.

"Yeah, but don't scare them away. I don't know if you know them, but their names are Amy and Lita," Serena informed them.

"You talking about us again, Serena," Lita joked from beside the booth. "We feel so loved," Lita playfully sighed and put a hand over her chest.

"Yeah yeah," Serena waved a hand at the two, "Ray, Mina, the love struck one is Lita," she pointed, "and the quiet one is Amy." This caused Amy to blush. "Amy, Lita, the giggly blond is Mina and the fiery one is Ray." Serena smiled hearing Ray's huff.

"Nice to meet you guys," Mina extended her hand toward Amy, while Lita and Ray shook hands. Then all of a sudden, flashes flowed through all four of the girls. They each took a step back and stared at each other.

`What was that?!' all four girls thought in unison.

The girls continued to stare at each other, and Serena was confused. Getting a little impatient, Serena interrupted their thoughts, "hello?! Is anyone home in those little brains?"

Ray of course answered first, "at least we have some brain, and you have meatballs for brains!"

Serena stuck out her tongue at Ray; Ray then stuck hers out to Serena. This started a childish war between the two. "Do they always act like this?" Lita asked with a sigh.

"Yeah, but hey!" Mina swung arms around the two other girls, "you'll learn to ignore them. It's time to shop!"

"Oh look, this one will bring you luck," Lita showed everyone a dark green stone. They looked at clothes for a couple of hours and decided to have some fun in the new charm shop.

They took a quick look at it, before Serena showed them the next one. "This one is suppose to make you relax," Serena showed everyone a clear stone with a symbol on it, "I think you need it Ray."

"Ha ha ha….very funny," Ray smirked at her. Something then caught Ray's eye, "Maybe you should have this one, Meatball Head."

Serena looked at the stone necklace that had red and pink swirls in it, "it's pretty. What is it?"

"It's a love charm," Amy decided to finally speak up. "It's supposed to help you with your love life. I personally think these are a waste of money, but if Serena really needed one, I think she would need a `klutz free charm'."

Serena's eyes got teary and big, "Amy I thought you were on my side?"

Ray had a smirk on her face, Mina put her hand over Ray's mouth before she could say another word, "anyways," Mina spoke, "I think you should get the love charm, it might help you with Darien."

This caught Lita's and Amy's ears, "Darien?" they said in unison.

Serena's happy faced, turned to a sour one, "As if! That baka is a waste of space."

"Uh hu," Lita eyed Serena, then turned to Mina and Ray, "who is he?"

"Oh, he's this guy Serena's got a thing for," Mina joked.

Lita and Amy looked at Serena for an answer. What they got was a mad meatball head, "I would never like a guy that is that conceded, and such a jerk!" She then put down the object she was looking at, and exited the store. The other girls had to drop what they were doing to catch up to her.

"Oh come on, Serena!" Mina yelled after her.

"Yeah, we didn't mean it," Amy tried to help defend them.

"You guys are, uh! Never mind!" Serena yelled out, but continued to walk faster in front of them, "I just want to go home and relax and-" but before she could finish, she turned a corner right into someone.

"Hey Meatball Head, long time no see."

Serena quickly got up and glared at him, "Oh Darien, why do you always show up where I go?"

"I guess you are just lucky," Darien teased with a smirk.

"Lucky?! You mean unlucky. Why don't you and your big ego go jump off a-"

"Serena, why don't you tell us who your friend is?" Lita interrupted the two.

Serena decided to be nice, "Amy, Lita, this is the baka," she pointed at the smirking guy. "Well it was fun and all, but I forgot I told my aunt I'd help her out with something. See ya gals!" she waved at the three girls, and walked past Darien.

"Bye to you too, Meatball Head," Darien said to her retreating back.

"Whatever," she mumbled, and then started to walk in the direction of her home.

While Serena walked home, she didn't notice the shadow following her. She slipped into the house, said a quick `hello' to her aunt, and went to her room. She plopped on her bed, and hugged her pink stuffed bunny.

"That stupid baka! Why does he have to be so mean?" she whined to herself.

`Because it's the only way he can show he likes you,' her inner voice butted in.

She huffed, "yeah right!" Turning on her back, she took interest on the ceiling, " why couldn't he be more like Diamond?" she sighed.

`Oh Diamond Smiamond.' The inner voice teased, `he's a little on the mysterious side, if you ask me. Are you sure he wont hurt you?'

"Oh be quiet you," she told herself. She then yond, and her eyes closed and she drifted off to sleep.

"Yes Princess, sleep," Diamond gazed at the crystal orb in the middle of the dark room. "Soon you'll be where you always should have been, by my side."

A cloaked figure then silently floated next to the Diamond. "Prince Diamond, you wanted to see me."

"Yes, I have finally found Princess Serenity. Now all I need is to get enough energy to reawaken my brother, and then enough energy to make this pathetic earth into the Nega Moon," Diamond said while staring at the orb.

"That is what your minions are for, but what of Edymond?" the cloaked figure asked.

Prince Diamond's hands balled into fists on his sides. "He is somewhere here, but he hasn't reawakened yet. But I have nothing to worry. Emerald." He called.

A woman in green showed up in front of him. She bowed, "Yes Prince Diamond."

"I want you to gather human energy, everyone, no exceptions…." he then looked at the orb again, "except for her. Got that?"

Emerald looked at the blond girl, "yes, Prince," she then bowed and disappeared.

"You know you need a lot of energy," the cloaked figure said.

"Yeah, I know, Wise Man," without another word, he left to another dark room. The room Diamond was in had one light that was shining on a clear casket. It held a young man, around the same age as Diamond, maybe a couple of years younger. He had dark blue hair, and under those closed eyes, held dark sapphire eyes. Diamond placed one of his hands over it, "soon Sapphire, we'll be together again. With you, my blood brother, and Serenity, my love, at my side, we'll rule the Nega Moon together, I promise you," he vowed to the unconscious body.

While Diamond visited his brother, Wise Man was visiting his master, "Wise Man, is everything going according to plan?" the evil voice asked.

"Yes, Master. Price Diamond doesn't suspect a thing. He still thinks he will be ruling the Nega Moon when it comes, but truthfully you will." The two shared an evil laugh.

Serena was tossing and turning in her bed. "No, no…." she whimpered out. Her knuckles turned white from clutching her blankets so hard. Sweat beaded down her forehead. Her teeth were clenched and her head flaying back and forth.

*Serena's Dream*

A Princess ran from her room, to the front of the castle. There, she gazed upon a bloody battlefield. To her left laid the bloody body of her protectors from Jupiter and Mercury. To her right laid her protectors from Venus and Mars. "Why?" she questioned, tears started to collect in her eyes. "WHY?!?!"

*Dream ended*

Serena shot up in bed. The sweat was coming down faster and her breaths were short. She graved her head, and tried to think what was going on. "What was that all about?" Not knowing what happened, she plopped back down. Not really feeling sleep coming, she got back up and walked to the bathroom, and splashed some cold water on her face. When she returned, she closed the door, and froze. "Whose there?" she said. Realizing what she said, she worried, "what am I talking about?" She paused to think once again, "but I know I felt something."

"You probably felt my presence."

Serena looked for the voice, but only found a cat in her window seal. Her eyes then turned big, this was the same cat she saw earlier, with the crescent moon on her forehead. "What-How-Hu?" Serena couldn't make any sense out of the situation.

"Don't be so surprised. You have the power to sense my presence. I have finally found you Sailor Moon," the cat said. With every sentence the cat spoke, it stepped closer to Serena. The cat saw the confusion in the young girls eyes, and tried to comfort her confusion, "my name is Luna and you are the legendary soldier, Sailor Moon. You will fight for the moon, and try to help me find the Moon Princess." Luna would have continued, but Serena started to talk to herself.

"Oh great, Andrew was right. I really need to cut back on the sweets. That third piece of cheesecake must be doing this. I'm just hallucinating-" she mumbled to herself.

"Serena!" Luna yelled and got Serena's attention, "you are NOT hallucinating! We don't have time for this. Evil Nega Moon creatures are attacking innocent people and you must save them." The feline did a back flip and out popped a locket with a gold crescent moon on it. "Now pick up the locket and say `Moon Prism Power.'"

Serena looked cautious at the object, put picked it up as soon as she saw the glare from Luna. "Okay, but if I blow up, I'm coming back to haunt you. Moon Prism Power!"

A white light engulfed her. It then dimmed, and you could see pink ribbons circled around her, coming from the locket on her chest. They clung to her and made a white body suit, and a big red bow in the front. Stretching out her hands, white gloves appeared. She bent over and saw red, knee length boots appear on her feet. She stood back up, and twirled. A short blue skirt flowed from her hips. A small light showed up on her forehead, from a red gem. A tiara came from it, earrings and a chocker, with crescent moons on them, appeared, also. The last the that appeared were the red orbs on her `meatballs.'

When she was finished, she was in a pose in front of her mirror, with her mouth wide open. "Wow! This is so cool!" She twirled around to get a better look. Her happy, excited expression, turned to a disturbed one. In her orbs, she heard something.

`Please…..someone……help us….'it then faided.

"Who was that?" Serena questioned.

""It's one of the innocent people that is being attacked by the Nega Moon creature," Luna explained.

"Nega Moon? What-" she heard another scream in the orbs, "never mind! Lead the way!"

"Hurry up and drain their energy Serpenta. The Prince needs as much energy as these weak humans have." The lady with green on told her servent.

"Yessss, Masssssster Emerald," the female serpent creature hissed, then wrapped around another and sucked their energy.

Serena and Luna just entered the place. It was at the central park of the city. "What is that?" she whispered to Luna.

"It's a creature from the Nega Moon, quick you must help that person," Luna informed her.

"But how, I don't-"

"Master Emerald, I hear something. In those bushes."

The creature never got to look because Serena came out, "Evil creature from the Nega Moon, I will not let you harm these innocent people."

The creature just smiled, "and what are you going to do, little human? Scream me to death?"

"I stand for love and justice, I will defeat you in the name of the moon….I am Sailor Moon!" Sailor Moon struck her pose.

"I don't have time for this," the lady in green said, "Serpenta, defeat her and then return when you've collected enough energy." With that said, she disappeared.

Serena was about to go after her, but something flew at her. She dodged it in time. She turned around to see the tree with a hole in it, and acid was dripping down it. Her face paled. "Ah! That could have hurt me!"

"That wassss the point Ssssssailor Brat. Burning Asssssid!" more stuff flew at her. Sailor Moon also dodged this. "You can't dodge forever." The creature did the same attack and Sailor Moon dodged, but ended up getting slammed into a tree with the creatures serpent. The snake like creature circled around the tree and Sailor Moon and trapped her there.

"AAHHH!" Sailor Moon screamed.

"I would move if I were you. My ssssserpent will crusssssh you fasssster that way. And I like to ssssssee my prey ssssssuffer," the creature then walked over to the slow breathing human on the ground. "Now, give me your energy."

"NO!" Sailor Moon screamed. That screamed caused a shock wave from her orbs, throwing the serpent away from her, and the creature to shield herself. "you're not done with me yet," Sailor Moon slowly approached the creature.

"This is going to be fun," the creatures hand turned to sharp snake like shaped teeth, "you will die!"

Sailor Moon dodged the creature, and the creature pursued her. Sailor Moon, being the klutzy Serena, tripped over a branch and fell. The creature saw this and lunged, "you will die now!"

"SAILOR MOON!" Luna screamed in fear.

Sailor Moon coward, `someone, help me!' she mentally thought while clenching her eyes shut. She waited for pain, but it never came. "Sailor Moon!" Luna sighed in relief.

"AAHHHHH! My hand!" the creatures jumped backed.

When Sailor Moon heard this, she opened her eyes, and saw a red rose in the ground, where the creature used to be. Then a voice came, "How dare you hurt innocent people. I will not allow this, I am Tuxedo Mask."

Sailor Moon gazed up where the voice was, and her breath was caught in her throat. There stood a man, in a tuxedo. He was well built. His dark hair flew over his masked covered eyes. He was holding a single rose. The creature then leapt toward him and started to attack him, that's when he threw the rose, and got out a cane.

Luna decided it was time, Sailor Moon, defeated the creature. She jumped down next to her. "Sailor Moon, you must use your tiara and destroy the creature." Sailor Moon looked down at her, and listened.

`This creature is a little tougher than I thought,' Tuxedo Mask thought while dodging another blow. He was getting exhausted, and the creature new it. He then was tripped by her, and she pinned him down.

"Cape Boy, this is the end for you," the creature raised her hand.

"TIARA MAGIC!" A light flew towards them. Tuxedo had to close his eyes because of the bright light. When he reopened them, there stood a smiling Sailor Moon. "Thanks for the help, umm…Tuxedo Mask," she extended her hand toward him.

He took it, "and thank you for the assist, Sailor Moon." When he was on his feet, he gave her a smile. "Be more careful next time," he then jumped up high and disappeared.

Luna studied the figure before it disappeared, but then snapped out of it when she saw the people starting to reawaken. "Uh, Sailor Moon, I think it's time for us to go." When Luna looked at Sailor Moon, she had a big sweat drop on her head.

Sailor Moon had her hands together in front of her, with hearts in her eyes. "Tuxedo Mask.." she sighed.

Sailor Moon: "I like Tuxedo Mask." *goes to dreamland with hearts in her eyes*

Tuxedo Mask: *smiles; teeth shine in the sun*

Sweetcece: *sweat drop*……."okay, well chapter three is in progress right now."

Luna: "Aka, she has nothing done."

Sweetcece: "Well you didn't have to put it that way." T_T;

Luna: "Anyways, let's hurry up. I still need to find the Moon Princess before the Nega Moon does."

Sweetcece: "Okay fine. See ya next chapter!"

Tuxedo Mask: *smiles at readers* "and don't forget to make some request and review."
