So… sorry about the late update ppo! Didn't mean too…been busy with tennis and all. So how has everyone's summer vacation gone so far?

Disclaimer: I don't own SM, so don't even think of sueing me. If you do, I'll go on a witch hunt and all you'll get is probably a rain check and wait in line with the rest of the ppo waiting to sue me with rain checks in their hands.

Chp. 7

Imprisonment and Escape

“Don't think you're going anywhere,” he growled. “You're mine and I'm going to make sure that you stay mine. Plus, I'll speed up the engagement and we can get married in a month.”

Hearing this, Serena panicked and struggled ever more frantically now. “Let go of me, you baka!”

He smirked and tightened his grip on her. Summoning the guards, he got up and dragged her to her room. “Let's see if you can get anywhere now.” He left and locked her door.

Five minutes later he came back. “Get up and pack your stuff. You're moving in with me, so I can keep an eye on you, whether you like it or not.”

She stood defiantly and refused to do what he ordered. Seeing this, he cursed aloud and grabbed her by the arm. She dug her heels into the floor still trying to resist. “We're going to have guests over any time now, so why won't you listen! You're going to move in with me so you'll look like the lady of the castle while I'm away. And no dallying with the guests,” he warned in a severe tone.

She softly replied, “No.”

That irked him and he raised an eyebrow. “No? well that's a first. You can't do anything about it anyways, so why resist? It'll just make things worse for you. I think that the guests are here by now, so we better hurry.” He threw the kicking and screaming and screaming Serena over his shoulder. As he descended the stairs, he waved in a good natured way at the shocked guests and continued to his room.

He dumped her on the bed and summoned the Senshi. While he waited for them, he threatened her, “I already told you no dallying and no flirting. If you have trouble following my orders, I could always have you either whipped or beat.”

She silkily replied, “What If I do? It's not like it's going to effect you anyways. You have all your other sluts to occupy you, so why worry and keep me?”

He grabbed her shoulders roughly and shook her. “If I catch you in bed with anyone else but me, first, I'll slit his throat while you watch then I will lock you up for eternity so no one else but me will be able to see you.”

She watched him emotionlessly. Darien searched her face to see if there was any refusal. But there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. What happened to the Serena who couldn't tell a lie because all her emotions were written across her face and they were reflected in her eyes?

He sighed and he left. Serena sat where he had left her for a couple of minutes, contemplating his words. Shrugging off the severity of its meaning, Serena got up and checked to see if there were any guards outside. The window was surprisingly unlocked and there weren't any guards. She heard the Senshi footsteps outside the door.

Taking a deep breath, she climbed out the window and onto the tree that was o so conveniently nearby his window. She took a quick look back and smirked. 'what a fool leaving his window unopened and unguarded. O well, it makes it all the more easier to escape.' She expertly climbed down the tree and snuck into the stables. While saddling one of Darien's most prized stallions, she accidentally bumped

into Andrew.

Genuinely surprised, he asked, “Serena what are you doing here, at this time of night?” Serena cursed herself silently at her inability to escape unnoticed.

`Serena think!' she ordered herself. She smiled back at him, “I'm just going to go for a little ride in the woods. Don't worry I'll return the horse, so you have nothing to worry about.”

Andrew's face turned serious and his smile faltered, “You're running away aren't you? What happened between you and Darien?” He bitterly laughed and faced her. “What happened to the couple that was deliriously in love? I loved you Serena! And you left me for him. How could you leave me like that? It hurt me.”

She snorted, “it hurt your ego yeah, and I can't return the love that you feel for me. Darien offered me what you couldn't. Now he can't, so I'm leaving. Don't even think of following me.”

“Is that what you do to all men? You seduce them and entice them with your looks? Then they fall in love with you, so you leave?”

Her brittle smile told him that his claims were true. The two heard shouts behind them. The guards alarmingly amassing by the lots. “Well that's my cue to leave.”

“hold it, I'm going with you.” He jumped up the horse behind her and they left.

Darien stepped out from the shadows and snorted. “Serena, how ironic to see you ride off into the sunset, with Andrew, my best friend, coincidentally. What are you planning you minx? Well you can run but you can't hide because my spies are following you right now. Besides, Andrew cannot uphold his vow that he made. It's too valuable. Andrew will be reporting everything you do and your whereabouts to me.”

Serena rode off with Andrew with a sinking feeling in her stomach. Was what she doing the right thing? What would Darien do to her and Andrew when he caught them? How would Andrew feel when he found that that she was only using him?

Sorry about the short chapter again. If you don't like it, then that's too bad cuz it's my story and not yours and there's nothing that you can do about it. So there. Someone asked in a review, “Where's the sex?” Well it'll be coming up pretty soon if more ppo request it in reviews. Lol. How many ppo that read my story go to John F. Kennedy high school?
