Chapter 6 Makoto And Ken Must Stay Apart
...12:00...
"Hopefully I can put a spell on her now." thought Prince Cieux as he appeared to be in her room.
Slowly he crept over to the bed were she slept. He was about to put the spell on when, the door
opened and in poped Ken. Prince Cieux became invisible.
"Mako-can, get up. We're still having the party." said Ken. A pillow hit him in the face.
"I'm tired. Tell them I'm asleep." said Makoto as she pulled covers over her head.
"Alright." said Ken and then left.
"He's been getting in my way for a while and so, I have to get him out of the way. I think I just
know how." though Prince Cieux and then disappeared. Makoto drifted off into a dream...
"Makoto, you have to stay away from Knight Ken or else, he'll die. It'll be all your fault if
he dies for going near him or being near him. You must stay away." said a booming voice as she
saw Ken on the ground dead with a sword next to him and a man standing there.
"Who are you? Why are you trying to minupulate me?" asked Makoto.
"If you don't stay away from him, he'll die. Watch and you'll see that I'm telling the truth."
said the voice.
"Oh please. You lying peice of crap. Do you think that I would believe you?" asked Makoto.
"Then you'll see." said the voice... Makoto woke up and sat up. She felt something cold and wet
next to her. When she turned on the light, her arm had been cut.
"I warn you." said the voice and then disappeared. She then saw on the ground, a dagger. She
picked up her communicator.
"Minako here." said Minako.
"Minako-can, could you come up here, quickly and bring a doctor." said Makoto.
"What do you mean bring a doctor?" asked Minako.
"I have a big gash in my arm and it's bleeding, bad." said Makoto.
"Coming. Minako out." said Minako and then turned off the comunicator...
"Did you touch the dagger?" asked the doctor.
"No." said Makoto as he covered it.
"I'll take it into the lab and look at who might have done this." said the doctor. He took it and
then left.
"Minako, I need you to do something that I can't do." said Makoto.
"What?" asked Minako.
"Tell Ken to stay as far away from me as he can and not to come near me." said Makoto.
"Why?" asked Minako.
"I was threatened that he would die if we were to be near eachother. That's how I got this cut on
my arm." said Makoto.
"Poor Mako-can. I'll make sure of it. But, what about the picnic that we were going to have?"
asked Minako.
"I'll still cook for it but, I'll not go." said Makoto.
"Then, where will you go and do?" asked Minako.
"I'll type a story for you like you always wanted me to do." said Makoto.
"Alright. I'll tell him that tonight. Don't worry." said Minako and then she left...1hour later..
Makoto was at the computer typing the story that she had promised Minako. Then the door opened
and in came someone that wasn't suppose to be there. Makoto turned around and saw Ken standing
there. She then turned around and began to type again.
"Mako-can, why?" asked Ken.
"Stay right there and don't come any closer." said Makoto as she stopped typing.
"Why Mako-can?" asked Ken again.
"You won't beleive me if I told you anyways so, why must I explain when Minako must have already
told you?" asked Makoto.
"How do you know if I would or if I wouldn't believe you?" asked Ken walking closer.
"I told you to keep your distance." said Makoto as she begun to type again.
"Makoto, tell me yourself." said Ken.
"You're just killing yourself when ever you come near me and causing me pain. Do you want me to
die?" asked Makoto.
"No. I would never want that. Of course you know I would never want that to happen." said Ken
going up to her. Makoto turned around.
"Then you have to leave or else you or I will die. I've been warned and I've almost bled to
death if I hadn't have woken up." said Makoto.
"But Mako-can, I don't care if I die just as long as I get to be with you." said Ken.
"This is your last warning. Leave or else you will be forced out of my room by someone that I
don't think that you want to carry you out." said Makoto and looked away from him.<Last Unicorn>
"Could I just have one last wish before I'm not able to see you?" asked Ken.
"What is it?" asked Makoto.
"To hold you for just one last time." said Ken.
"Yes." said a voice in the room other than theirs. Makoto quickly stood up and put her arms
around his neck.
"Mako-can." said Ken softly as he held her tight. She just closed her eyes to fight back the all
of the tears that tried to come. Slowly they came out by there own free will. Slowly, Ken moved
back to see her face infront of his.
"I'll come back to you. When you least expect it." said Ken and then kissed her tears away. Then
he slowly left out the door. Makoto turned the computer off after saving it and then she went to
sleep, finally.<End Last Unicorn>
