Author's note: this story is based off a dream so please keep this in mind while reading. Not all details are clear to me, so it may seem a little off.

In Japan, a girl with long black hair walks neverously back and forth along a white tile floor. Her mind goes back to the conversation that she had with the orange Sailor senshi known as Sailor venous. The words replay in her head and as they do, she becomes angered and troubled by the events. ::I don't think I can take much more of this. Venous and I don't get along, I am no one's second hand, Nor do I intend to start now:: she thought as she took a seat at a round table located in the center of the room. The sound of the door opening causes her to jump as a brown haired girl, much taller then her is seen coming down the stairs her shoes clicking on the metal steps. "ah Rei Chan, you're here, are you alright?" she asked placing her bag down before taking her seat.

"Ah I'm alright, just thinking. I doubt I could continue to be a senshi." Rei commented.

"Nani?!" the other girl said in a pure state of shock. "What in the heck are you thinking Rei."

"The fact Remains, that Venous and I cant work as a team Ami is still with the dark Kingdom, Usagi is No longer one of us, and this new girl is going to be so difficult to train." Rei stated flatly.

"You don't know what she will be like, she may be nothing like Usagi!" the girl shouted.

"And if she is Mokoto then what?!" Rei shouted back. "Or did you forget luna said they were twin girls after all." Rei snapped back.

"But don't forget Kayla died first, so there for they are no longer considered twins, since she was sent to this earth and time six years before the rest of us were. Queen serenity needed to know if the moon should fall could her children e saved." The girl now known as mokoto remarked holding her head in her hands as if in pain while events flashed through her mind remembering the time o the moon when the queen sent her first born daughter to the earth so she would at last be safe fearing that the moon would fall.

"Look I cant take this right now. I'm out of here!" Rei said with a growl as she ran up the steps and out of the door slamming it just as luna came down to join Mokoto in the senshi room.

"I'm starting to remember the past…poor Kayla Chan.." mokoto whispered not aware that Luna had entered the room.

"Well you are right Kayla would be about 20 now and it might be a bit harder for her to want to willingly join us but we must try. She is in the Usa as far as we know right now, and I have arranged for you and Rei to go ad rescue her. Time is running out, the dark kingdom may already have started their search…." Luna commented in a low worried whisper not knowing just how right she was in her thinking.

Meanwhile in Daytona beach Jedite made his way down from the plaza Roof and started looking for the store he saw his pray go into. The rain was still coming deown hard and the lightning made it a little hard for him to see the store names on the front of the plaza. He peared inside many of the windows before he came across the one he had been looking for. ::perfect:: he thought, thinking that the girl wouldn't know what hit her.

As he entered the store, he realized that his task was going to be a little harder then he had thought it would be. Everyone was dressed the same and the girl could easily hide from him. He had the power to since where she was, but not find her in a crowed until her powers got a little more use. He growled to himself as he started to scan the small store for the one he was searching for. His eyes darted around the room searching for any hint of blonde hair, however he did not see any trace of it. ::Damit:: he thought as someone approached him. "Can I help you sir?" one of the many employees asked him standing behind the counter in the front of the store.

Jedite turned looking into the other's eyes sending chills down the young man's spine. Speaking firmly and clearly in Japanese ,Jedite spoke not removing the death glare he was giving the man, "I'm looking for someone, so don't stand in my way." He hissed, and if to prove his point even more, he launched an attack that took out the shelves and their contents directly behind the man at the counter.

Kayla gasped when she heard the crash turning to see what the cause was forgetting for the moment that looking was useless. When she turned for a moment, the golden moon on her forehead appeared to give off some sort of light, and that was enough to send Jedite flying across the counter and to the back towards the light flash. However, as quickly as the power source showed itself, it vanished, and Jedite had found himself back at square one, but he was convinced more then ever now the person he was searching to destroy was definitely in this very store. "If you would like to place an order, then go up to the front and someone would be more then happy to help you. If you are looking for the men's or women's restrooms then continue on back, the women's is the first and the men's is the second door you will come too." Kayla said feeling Jedite nearby, and knew he didn't belong near by. She did not look him in the eye so her black hat hid the moon that appeared on her forehead.

Jedite growled knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere at this point. Since Kayla had spoken in English, he had no idea what she had said to him. Growling he spat out in Japanese "you little bitch, no one is to get in my way I always get what I am after understand, and I wont leave until the princess has been located and killed by my hands.

Tears of fear stung at the back of Kayla's eyes as she listened to the words said to her. She didn't know how, but she had understood everything said to her if it were in plain English. The only thing she knew aside from understanding it was that this man was from Japan and was out for the kill. She didn't know however, she was his target. "sir this is a business now if you don't mind we would like to get back to work, so if your not going to order then I suggest you leave, before I am forced to call the police." Kayla replied in the same langue that he had used to speak not knowing how she knew how to respond to his actions. Her eyes remained closed so that he could see that she was about ready to cry. Jedite growled and blasted the computer that sat beside Kayla causing a fire from the remaining pieces. ::looks like I'll have to go home until the computer is replaced:: she thought shivering feeling the power and force behind the explosion and all of it coming from the angered man. Kayla did not move, fear had completely taken over her body. A man came up to Kayla, he was about as tall as she was with brown hair that was graying a little, he was dressed in the same uniform that Kayla was in with the only exception being his name tag saying driver on it where hers said just said teem member. He stopped looking at his girlfriend sitting there and Jedite still looming over her. He then saw the damaged computer. "Hon are you alright?" he asked glaring daggers at Jedite, turning he spat at Jedite "get away from my girlfriend."

Jedite did not respond, instead he raised his hand and a red beam shot from it hitting the man square in the chest causing him to crash into the open walk in freezer door and hit a wrack filled with pizza pans.

"George!" Kayla cried as she rose from her seat and went to his side when he didn't appear to be getting up right away. "George are you alright????? Onegai, wake up onegai…" Kayla began to sob her tears streaming down her face like two rivers. As she continued to sob a blue light formed in the center of her chest momentarily covering the remainder of her body. When it vanished a crystal seemed to float in mid air right above her heart, amiting a soft blue light, but not as bright as when it first appeared. Her uniform was replaced with a white dress that covered her from head to toe with short sleeves. The hat she wore on her head was gone and her hair was flowing freely down her back free from the blue scrunches that held it back. Jedite smiled laughing to himself. "I'll leave you now to suffer, but I worn you princess I will be back. Take this as a warning, nothing shall get in my way." With that said, Jedite blasted George one more time causing Kayla to turn her attention back to him.

In a flash of red light Jedite had left the store. All was quiet minous the hum of the ovens and the raging storm outside. Kayla's sobbed seemed to echo in her ears as she held George close the crystal once more fading back into her body after covering the room in a bright light once again. Her dress faded and her work clothes returned as well. "Speak to me…" Kayla cried as she stroked the hair out of her lover's face. "iie onegai…this isn't happening" she muttered unable to hear the calls from her boss and co -workers calling her trying to get her to pull herself away from him. She felt a warm hand on her face a moment later and a smile came to her face.

"Now why are you crying sweetheart?" George asked as he came to sitting up with Kayla's help. "Don't worry about me, I have been in worse scrapes then this.." he added smiling up at her.

"You two had best get home, you both need the rest.." Lori said as she helped them both to their feet Kayla taking over once again after she stood firmly on her feet.

The next day back in Japan, Luna ran into the crown room in her plushi cat form seemingly out of breath. Rei and Mokoto were both sitting at the center table in their respected colored chairs each with a tall glass filed with a liquid of some kind that was red in Rei's and green in Mokoto's. Once she made it to the center of the table, she passed out for a moment while she tried to regain her breath. Neither Rei or Mokoto seemed to notice her each deep in thought. Rei was still a little mad over the fact she was being called second hand and she was being used as a substitute leader until venous could regain her place as leader. Mokoto was the first to notice Luna and spoke up. "Whats wrong Luna?" she asked.

"The location of the moon princess Kayla, has been confirmed and a deffent location has been found. Jedite has already made one attempt on her life, causing her to have to show the silver crystal." Luna said "you must take the first plane to Daytona beach Florida, Rei angery or not, your going to have Mokoto out no room for argument, venous's actions are hard to determine at this point, and we are short handed in help." Luna explained.

"Alright I better pack then.." she hissed running out the door not liking the mission plans or orders, she wasn't ready to except someone new to the teem and especially one that was older then her either. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, she had left so fast that she didn't even stop to find out what time their plane was leaving. She figured she would spend some time in front of the fire, and pack her cloting for the trip ahead then call Mokoto later and get the rest of the mission details. As she climbed the steps, she thought that getting away from Japan for a while would turn out to be a rather good idea. She paused taking her shoes off outside her door like she did every day before entering her room replacing her shoes with slippers.

In the crown room Luna explained to Mokoto about the attack and what all that happened. "why is it that I remember her, I think Rei does too, maybe its because she is taking it so hard." Mokoto said to herself after hearing what Luna had to say.

"I don't know for sure, but to be safe, I'm coming along with you, I'll go in cat form so I can hide on the plane. Now you had better go home and pack, the plane leaves in two hours." Luna said as she went to call Rei and give her the information..

Rei sat on her bed looking up at the celing as flashbacks of Kayla ran through her mind. The sound of her cell phone broke her from her daydreaming. She turned over and picked it up from her table answering it. "Moushi Moushi" she greated not bothering to look to see who was calling her.

"You alright Rei" came Luna's concerned voice from the other end.

"Hai, I was just thinking, I just have had a lot happen in the last couple of days. So when do we leave for the States?" she rplied ending with her question about their mission.

"The plane leaves in two hours, and Mokoto has your tickets, I left them in the crown room and she agreed to get them, all you have to do is make it to the airport on time." Luna explained.

"I got you Luna." Rei commented before hanging up closing the cell and placing it down. ::Just enough time for a quick shower:: she thought as she grabbed her things and headed for the bathroom. She stripped her clothing one item at a time placing it in the hamper and turned on the water watching it become hot and steamy before stepping in and letting the water wash over her back and all over her hair. :::Just what I needed:: she thought as she let all the days events flow out of her mind and let the watter soothe her tiredbody. She wished she could finish with a nap after her shower, but she didn't exactly live that close to the airport, but if she timed it right she could change pack a small suitcase, and get there just in time to meet her friend.

Shuting of the water, Rei dressed into some fresh clothes and packed a bag full of the necery clothing she would need and some items just in case. ::here goes nothing:: she told her self with a determined look on her face boarding the bus. Upon Reaching the airport Mokoto was already running to her hugging her and handing the ticket to her that she would need. "come on we don't have that much time, our plane is early." Mokoto said in an urgent tone of voice dragging a confused Rei through the airport and to the boarding gate after checking their suitcases in.

"woah slow down Mokoto, we wont miss the plane. " Rei protested from behind her friend.

"I know but we cant be to sure about these things, and we are racing against time." Mokoto reminded her friend.

Rei then nodded in agreement not needing to say anything as they passed through the tunnel Luna tucked in her carry on bag. Even if anyone saw her, they would think her to be a unique stuffed animal. Once they reached their seats, Rei looked out the window at the setting sun. The plane ride would take several hours, but she needed it to clear her mind after all that had happened, and prepare it for the battles yet to come. ::I don't think I can handle this job any longer, I'll have to find out if there is someone, that can take my place, maybe if so then …:: she thought to herself as visions of her past life flashed through her head showing the face of a girl that looked a whole lot like her. They weren't exactly alike, but they were so close dispite it. However when Rei had the vision, she could not see all to cleary it appeared more closely resembling a shadowed figure more then anything else. As Rei allowed herself to reflect on her visions and thoughts, the plane took off into the sunset disappearing in the bright colorful landscape.

Meanwhile in Cumberland Maryland, a girl sat in front of her computer typing a paper and checking her buddy list. A flash of Rei entered her mind a moment, and vanished as quickly as it had appeared. She stopped typing and held her head as if in pain. ::what was that all about?:: she thought her eyes turning back to the screen to see that her friend had returned from away or so it seemed for the moment. She shook off the feling and clicked the send in option on the buddy alert box that was in the center of her screen before typing a message to her friend.
