I don't own Sailor Moon, but this drifts away from that eventually, hence me putting it in original, and all of the boys are mine. *Growl* Touch them and die!
It's set in Crystal Tokyo times, where the King and Queen had two children after Chibi-Usa. Yes, I know Uranus is the Senshi of the Wind; it just works better this way. And if you aren't familiar with the Jap names here they are.
Mizuno Ami- Amy

I use these most of the time; because I've been convinced dub was evil ever sense the whole Neptune and Uranus are really cousins thing. So they didn't want to say they were together, fine, but couldn't they have said they were friends?
Anyway, on to my boys, just brief summaries here. Yes, some of the names mean stuff, no I don't remember what. At the time I was looking at my friends Japanese textbook and jotted these names down. It happens.
No, the boys are not actually related to the girls, they just take their last names upon accepting the power and such. In case your wondering. I explain it better in the story
Protector of Mercury
Mizuno Jori
Age: 16
He's a member of the Martian army, because, despite being half Mercurian, his mother raised him there after his father's death when he was two. He set out to be Mars Protector, but failed. He's said to have a cold heart, but it's all a matter of opinion.
His power source is a light blue pendent that's colder than ice, so cold in fact that most people can't even touch it, let alone hold it. It also drains the warmth from a room when he uses a powerful (as well as draining) attack, so he and Mars work well together, but at the same time are constantly opposing forces.
Protector of Venus
Aino Jihi
Age: 18
He's the son of a Venus noble man, with very little interest, if any, in being a hero or a protector. He only went to the sorting to make his parents happy and was more then a little disgruntled when it showed he was the protector.
His power source is an orange pendent with a heart that is a light shade of orange, on the inside. It glows depending on his mood. It takes one pure of heart, but not of body, to wear it, so very few people can wear it without revealing their true nature. His greatest ally is Moon, because they are both protectors of light.
Protector of Mars
Hino Kori (Hi=fire Kori=ice…hum, is that an oxymoron?)
Age: 17
He's a well known thief on Mars, the best around actually, he was caught trying to steal to crown jewels of Mars, but really got in trouble for making the Mars princess look like an idiot, by escaping easily. He's been said to have a close…relationship with Moon.
A dark red ruby pendent, with a blue/white flame constantly burning inside of it, most people who touch it end up with its imprint burned on them. When he uses a stronger attack it fills the room with almost unbearable heat, which can set up Mercury to use an attack. Mars and Mercury are direct opposites.
Protector of Jupiter
Kino Scott
Age: 19
One of the elite trainees at the Jupiter Academy for Warriors, he's proof that Jupiter still builds them tough. His past is unknown. He is stronger then most of the other nine (known) Protectors and has been known to skip out on their studies.
His pendent is forest green and has a mild electric field surrounding it; most who get to close get a powerful shock. He's most powerful in the forest, where he can draw power from the trees and plants. His greatest ally is Uranus, because of the other Protectors control over earth.

Ten'ou Kai
Age: 23
One of the adopted sons of the Queens of Uranus and Neptune, he was fully expected to become a protector of one of the planets, as was his 'brother' Lucre. He's the only one who can rival Jupiter in power and he never lets his friend forget it.
His pendent is navy blue with mountains outlined in yellow. It has a direct connection to any land he stands on and quakes are said to start when someone else wears it. He is most powerful outside of large cities and his greatest ally is Jupiter. He carries a small dagger, with the Uranus symbol carved onto it.
Protector of Neptune
Kaiou Alexander
Age: 16
A homeless child from Neptune, he's spent most of his life in harbor towns, prostituting, stealing, or whatever would keep him from starving. He doesn't regret or feel ashamed of anything he did, but he does have bitter moments, when he thinks of what he lost.
His pendent is Aquamarine, with white waves crashing around inside. The last person who tried to take it ended up drowning. He is most powerful near the oceans and seas, which have a connection to him. His most powerful ally is Stellar. He carries a compact, which has the Neptune symbol engraved on it.
Protector of Pluto
Meiou Misuke
Age: Unknown (Must be a Pluto thing)
Very little is known about Misuke other then he's always around when you don't want him, but only shows up at the last moment when needed. He's sarcastic, cynical, pessimistic and an all around bastard when the mood hits, which is often. He loves to tease Moon and Mars about their not relationship.
He's pendent is purple mixed with green, carved in the shape of a key. At certain moments it can open the fabric of time so he can do his job as the lesser time guardian. It also opens the fabric when an unworthy person holds it, transporting that person somewhere in time. He's only ally is Saturn.
Protector of Saturn
Tomoe Kouri
Age: 17
Kouri is a cousin of Queen Saturn through marriage and had no real desire to participate in something he won't be able to finish, since it's speculated he'll die of cancer before he's 20, but when his cousin insisted he go he did. Finding out he was the one didn't bring him much joy.
His pendent is a deep plum color with a bright star glowing in the middle. It's sad to be the jewel of death and most who touch it are labeled cursed and die shortly after. Its main power is total and complete silence. He's greatest ally is Pluto, because they understand their powers have a darker side.

Prince Diamond
Age: 14
Named for the deceased prince of the Dark Moon, he is called Serenity's mistake, because he bares no resemblance to the King, but a startling one to the dead prince. He'd shown no magical ability and participated because of tradition. He and Mars cause a stir with how close they are, though they constantly deny it
He carries the Platinum Crystal, a pure white color. When someone with evil intent comes close it darkens in color dramatically, Stellar is the only exception. He could be the most powerful Protector, but tapping into the raw energy of the crystal could kill him. Venus is his greatest ally.

Age: 20
His purpose is to keep the Protectors safe and together, though the ones closer to his age don't exactly respect him, and Uranus is down right mean at times. He has great power and infinite patience, but pushing him too far is a great way to get yourself killed, whether he can use his power or not.
He possesses the Midnight Crystal, though he doesn't receive it at first, he must find it himself. His power turns the Platinum Crystal black, but not because of evil intent. He and Mars are the most powerful, not counting moon, and his greatest ally is Neptune.
