Author Notes: For now on there will be no more Coyote Ugly in the disclaimer. I only said one line from the whole movie!! I just kind of realized that..I don't even like that movie that much. I know you people will probably hate me for this chapter :``(
"All rise!" yelled the guard. Here she was. Serena Soul standing on trial for some shit she didn't do. She glanced over at Rubeus who was acting as her sister's lawyer. He grinned back. A whole lot had been going on while she was in jail. So she was told. Darien almost got stabbed by Beryl but from the looks of it he had stabbed her.
:Flashback:
Darien grabbed Beryl's hand. The knife was inches away from sinking into his chest if he didn't think fast. "Die Darien! And once you die so will your slut of a girlfriend" laughed Beryl. Darien grew angry and kicked Beryl in the stomach. As she fell back the knife went sailing out of her hand and to the opposite side of the room. Darien ran to get it but Beryl tripped him up and sent him crashing to the ground. "Goodbye Darien!" yelled Beryl as she about to pick up the knife. Beryl never got to do that. Darien had kicked her on the side and Beryl rolled over and knocked herself unconscious on a table leg. Darien got up painfully and exited the apartment.
:End Flashback:
"This Rubeus guy has so many occupations" said Ami. "I mean look at him he's acting like some sort of pretender" she continued. "Yeah, but in this version he's a convict" replied Zack. "Darien I thought you got Serena a good lawyer" said Rei. "I did and here he comes" replied Darien. The whole courtroom went quiet when the lawyer came in. Mina passed out and Kevin easily caught her. "You got her Johnny Cochran!" whispered Lita excitedly. "Yeah, he owes me a favor" replied Darien with a smile.
Serena couldn't believe her eyes and neither could Beryl. Rubeus gulped as Johnny eyed him. "We better win" growled Beryl. The trial lasted for three hours. Rubeus presenting his case and Johnny presenting his. When the jury came back everyone held his or her breath. "How does the jury find the defendant?" asked the judge. "We the jury find the defendant, Serena Soul, not guilty of all charges brought against her" said the representative the jury. A cheer went through the courtroom. "I won't stand for this!!" yelled Beryl. Beryl took out a gun and sent out a shot straight for Serena. Serena fell to the ground as the shot went through her. All she could hear was people screaming and yelling to get help. The last thing she saw was Darien's worried eyes before she went unconscious.
Author Notes: Did you really think I was going to let this story drag on? I don't think so..
