“Mamoru-chan, its ok. When Usagi gets brought back, everyone will forget,” Ami said.
“Every trace of her death will be erased; memories, reports, everything,” said Minako.
“Even our memories?” Mamoru asked.
“Yup, but Luna can remind us. But you might a little hard…” said Rei.
“Why?”
“Only Usagi can regain your memories, well help you regain them.”
“She has to be in trouble or hurt for you to remember. Hey, maybe might work with Luna, but we never know.” Minako said.
“Well, what do we have to do to revive her?” Mamoru said.
“Easy, we all have to fall asleep and in the morning, we have Luna help regain our memory. I’ll call Luna” Makoto told them.
She got up and called Luna on the communicator.
“Luna, can you and Artemis come to Mamoru’s apartment?”
“Sure, I’m on my way.”

::A ½ hour later::
Luna and Artemis came over and was filled in on what was happening.
“Well let’s all try to go to sleep. Ami and Rei, you guys and Luna, take my room and Minako and Makoto, take the spare room. Artemis and I will sleep out here on the couch.” Mamoru said.
The girls agree. They said goodnight to each other.

They all had trouble falling asleep but after a while, they finally do…

Mamoru is walking in a field, picking flowers for the love of his life.
‘I hope she likes roses,’ he thinks.
After picking a couple of them, he starts back to his palace. When he gets to his room, he sets the roses on his large bed and gets ready to meet with her.
Knock…Knock…
“Come in!”
“Prince, you have a letter from the Moon Kingdom.” A servant said.
“Well, let me see it,” He grabs the letter, “you are dismissed.”
He waits for the servant to leave and shut the door, thinking it is from his love, he rips it open. The second he sees the handwriting, he know that it isn’t from her, but her mother, The Queen.

Dear Endymion,
I would like to congratulate you on your engagement to my daughter. I would love to tell you this and more in person, so if you would, could you come to see me before you see Serenity. Please keep our meeting a secret from her.
Queen Selenity

“ I wonder why she wants me to see her in secret?”

::Several Hours later::

“Good thing I brought extra roses, maybe some would please her.”
As he walked up to the Queens Chambers, a guard blocked the door.
“The Queen is expecting me.” The Prince sternly said.
“Oh, sorry, Prince Endymion, I didn’t recognize you at first, go right in.” The guard said as he bowed and opened the door for him.
The Queen looked up from what she was doing to see the prince walk in.
“Endymion, thank you for coming on such short notice.”
“It’s ok, I was coming to see Serenity anyways. Here you are, from my garden on Earth.” He said, as he handed her two red roses.
“They are beautiful, we don’t have these up here.”
“I know, thought I would bring you and your daughter some.”
“Speaking of her, let’s talk about what I called you here for.”
“If it is about if I am really in love with her, I am. I would die for her. She is everything that is good in my life. She is my reason for living. And I hope she feels the same way.”
“I believe you and I know you love her. I just wanted to talk to you alone.”
“Why didn’t you want Serenity to know I was meeting with you?”
“Because I didn’t want her upset at what I’m going to talk to you about.”
“I’m confused.”
“First, would you like some tea? Then we can sit down and talk.”
“I guess I’ll have some.”

::In the Tea Room::

“Ok, I called you here to tell you something, it can never leave this room… I had a vision about your and Serenity’s future, I get them very rarely but they usually always come true. Something will happen to her and you will lose her, but she will come back to you in time. The second time will be more difficult, but she will come back but not as exactly herself.
“What does that mean??” Endymion yelled, “I’m going to lose her, and she is not going to be herself!!”
“You will learn in due time… that is all I know, but you will have the help of her closest friends.”
“The Senshi..?”
“Yes, but don’t tell Serenity about what we talked about, she will get upset and confused.”
“Well, I have to go. I told her I would meet her. I have a surprise for her.” He rose from his seat to leave, then turned around.
“Umm…Why did you congratulate me on proposing to your daughter? I haven’t done it yet, I was planning to do it tonight. How did you know?”
“I had a feeling you would, knowing how much you love my daughter. Call it motherly instinct.” She said with a smile on her face.
“Okay, well I will see you later on, after I have officially done it.”

::In the morning::

Mamoru wakes up and goes to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. All of a sudden, Luna and Artemis walks in.
“Hi, Luna. Hey, Artemis, ” Mamoru says, “Wait, how come I still remember what happened?”
He rushes to his bedroom to wake up Ami and Rei.
“Do you guys remember everything?”
In the process wakes up Makoto and Minako.
“Yeah, but, how?” Rei said.
“Call Usagi’s house to see what’s going on, if Usagi is there.” Mamoru said.
Makoto called her house.
“Hello.”
“Hi, Mrs Tsukino. It’s Makoto Kino”
“Hi, Makoto. Is Usagi there and awake?”
“Let me see if she is awake” Makoto said, covering the receiver, “She thinks she is still alive and with me.” She uncovers the receiver, “She is in the shower, I’ll have her call you later, I called to see if I could come over later . I need to ask you about a recipe I was going to cook tonight. ”
“Sure! Well , I guess I’ll see you later.”
“Ok, bye”
She hung up the phone
“Her mom thinks she is alive.”
“Mamoru, call the hospital. Ask about Usagi’s info” said Luna.
“Ok” He calls the hospital, “Hi, can you tell me about a patient that may have been admitted there two days ago, Usagi Tsukino?”
After a couple seconds, “We don’t have any record of any patient by that name, you could try another hospital, sir.” Click.
“That was weird, the hospital doesn’t have any record of her being there.”
“Hmm… that is weird,” Rei said, “The hospital and Usagi’s mom doesn’t remember, but we do.”
They tried to figure it out for about a ½ hour.
“Well, while you guys think about what happened, I’m going to go out and get something to eat, you guy want something?” Mamoru asked.
“Sure!” They all said at once.
Mamoru grabbed his keys and was about to walk out the door.
“Well I’ll get something fro…” Mamoru stopped as he tripped over something in the hall. “What the hell!!”
It was a baby basket with a baby girl with blond hair in buns.
“Girls, get out here, NOW!!” Mamoru yelled.
The girls ran out and saw the baby. When the baby saw everyone, she started to giggle and wiggle her hands, as if to say and wave ‘Hi’.
“That looks like Usagi.” Rei said.
“That is her…” Luna said quietly
“WHAT!?” Everyone said.
“I would know her anywhere, since I was there when she was born,” Luna said, “I just wonder why she came back as a baby?”
“I don’t know, let’s just take her inside.” Rei said.

::Some time later::

“What are we going to do?” Minako asked, “First, we’ve never raised a baby, and second, how are we going to explain this to her parents, ‘Hi, this is Usagi. She died and came back as a baby’?”
“I don’t know, until we figure it out, we could go on a ‘trip’.” Makoto said.
“That would work, except what do we do about school?” Rei said.
Mamoru listened to the conversation, “Umm… I could take care of her till we figure it out. I have taken care of babies while I lived in the orphanage. And if this baby is anything like the ‘adult’ Usagi, just feed her and she is happy.”
“That would be better, because we can’t afford to miss school with entrance exams coming up.” Ami said.
The girls groaned and reluctantly agreed.
“Could you guys help pitch in to help for baby supplies?” Mamoru asked, “I wouldn’t ask, but she is hard to feed without much money.”
“I could bring some diapers and cleaning clothes from the hospital my mother works at.” Ami said.
“I’ll help make the food for cheap.” Makoto said.
Minako and Rei gave him some money for the clothes and bedding.
“Thanks, we’ll go shopping tomorrow. Right now, lets worry about feeding her. Can you guys watch her while I go get formula and us food?”
“Sure!” The girls said.

::An hour later::

“Sorry it took me so long, I had to figure out what kind of formula to give her.” Mamoru said, while out of breath.
“It’s ok, she has been asleep since you left,” Ami said, “Oh, she is waking up.”
“That’s just like Usagi, sleep till she can eat.” Rei joked
“Umm… Does any of you know how to make the formula,” Mamoru asked, “They usually made it for me.”
Makoto got and made it in 5 minutes and made it look easy.
“How?” Minako said, surprised.
“Home Ed. Classes.” She said.

::Minutes later::

“Now that she is fed, she sleeps. She is making this easy on us.” Rei said, sarcastically
“She was pretty much the same in the Silver Millennium.” Artemis said, “Minako was also.”
“Hey! That wasn’t funny!” Minako yelled, meanwhile the girls and Mamoru are laughing, even Usagi giggled in her sleep.
“Anyways, we have to figure out why and how this happened” Ami said.
“Well, maybe fate or something stepped in to give Mamoru practice for Chibi-usa.” Makoto said.
“Maybe. But Usagi is the one who needs the practice more than Mamoru.” Rei chimed into speak, “I mean, she has VERY bad luck with taking care of things, the only proof that she can take care of things is Chibi-Usa, and that is because Mamoru was there.”
“Well, anyways, lets just see what happens, but we have to come up with an excuse for school and her parents.” Ami said
“Umm… for school, she has Mono, but her parents…no clue.” Mamoru said.
“Well, the Mono is good but her parent it must be a very good one, her mom is easier to convince, but her father…” Makoto said.
“Is he that strict?”Mamoru asked.
“Strict is an understatement. He is VERY protective of Usagi.” Makoto said, “He doesn’t even have an clue about you currently dating her, he just thinks you are now just a friend that she very rarely sees. If only he knew how much she has been dishonest about you guys. Her mother, on the other hand, is dying to meet you.” Rei said.
Just then, Usagi woke up and started to cry.
“I got her,” Mamoru said “What’s wrong, sweetie?”
Of course… She was hungry.
“I’m gonna set her up in my bedroom, be right back.” Said Mamoru
As he takes her in his room, the girls continue to try to figure out what happened.
“I got you some bunnies, don’t tell the girls, they’ll be mad at me for wasting my money.” Mamoru said, quietly, while kissing her forehead, “Everyone said I was robbing the cradle, I guess I really am now.”
This comment made Usagi giggle.
“Oh, you like my jokes, well you always did…”
He set her bunny near her in her made shift bed.
“I’ll get you a better bed in the morning.”
He watches her as she begins to fall asleep, falling asleep himself.

::In his dreams::

He is in his bed as he feels someone touching his face and pushes the hair out of his eyes. He wakes up to see Usagi, full grown, smiling at him.
“What is going on, how come you’re fully grown? ”
“This is a dream, my love” Usagi softly said.
“What happened? Why are you a baby?”
“It’s my way of healing and I wanted to figure out things.” Usagi sweetly replied.
“What did you need to figure out?”
“Why I am what I am and to figure out doubts about us…”
“Like what?”
“When I’m myself again, you’ll find out.”
“When will that be?”
“Soon…now you have to wake up…”

“Mamoru, wake up!” Rei said.
“What?” Mamoru said grumpily from being woken up.
“We are leaving. Thought you would like to know.” She said, while saying goodbye to Usagi.
“She is healing and trying to figure things out.” He said.
“What…How do you know that?”
“She told me in my dream.” He said, stoking her cheek..
“Well I’ll tell the girls about it. Need anything before we leave?”
“Tell Makoto to remember to go over to Usagi’s parents house for the ‘recipe’ advice and get some stuff from her room for her, something familiar to give to her.”
“What should she tell her mom about Usagi not being with her?”
“That she is with you guys studying, I’m sure her dad would like that and that since you’re studying for entrance exams, that she is going to spend a couple more nights with her. It is the best excuse we have at this point in junction.”
“Yup, I’ll tell you, see you both tomorrow after school.”
“Okay,” Mamoru said, “Bye Girls!”
“Bye Mamoru.” The rest of the girls yelled.
After the girls left, Mamoru carried Usagi into the kitchen to get something to eat.
“What are we going about you, at least I will keep a kitchen of food for a while.”
After grabbing something to eat for him and a bottle for her, He went to the Living Room to watch TV, in the process, Usagi woke up.
“Oh, you also wake up to watch TV? You are just like your adult self.”

After a couple hours, Mamoru and Usagi are asleep with Mamoru holding her.

::The Next Morning::

Luna had stayed the night at Ami’s house.
“Ami, could we go by Mamoru’s apartment on your way to school. I think I could help him with things.”
“Sure, I bet you are not used to waking up this early” Ami said, watching Luna yawn and stretch.
“I am, but I’m just used to worrying about her getting up and to school on time, it’s nice just to relax.”
“Okay, lets get to Mamoru’s, he gave each of us keys last night so if he is asleep or out, we can get in.”

On their way to Mamoru’s, they got him breakfast and met up with Makoto.

“Mamoru, are you here?” Makoto yelled, “Oh, he is sleeping here on the couch. What the…?”
They stared at the couch to see Mamoru and Usagi, but instead of baby Usagi, there was a child, about 3 years old.
“Huh… hey guys. What are you staring at?” Mamoru asked, then looked at his chest, “What the heck?”
“Did anything weird happen last night??” Ami asked.
“No, I got something to eat and as I was coming out here, she woke up and watched TV with me, then I guess we fell asleep.”
“Makoto, go to school and tell them that I’m at the doctors and Usagi has the flu. Mamoru and I will take her to my mom and see if anything is going on with her. Call Rei and Minako during lunch and tell them to come over here after school.
“Okay, is there anything else I can do?” Makoto asked, as she was leaving.
“Get food on your way back here, she won’t drink bottles anymore.” Mamoru said.
After Makoto left, Ami searched the apartment for something for Usagi to wear, while Mamoru got dressed to leave.
Just then, they hear Usagi start to cry. Mamoru runs to her, and she says something.
“Mamo…!”
“Ami! Get out here, she just said something.”
The second Usagi seen Ami, “Am…” she giggled
“She spoke! Can you say anything else, sweetie?”
“Mamo-chan.”
“She said my name, I feel like a proud father.” He said, laughing.
“Well she is at that age where she starts to speak. I found her something that, I guess, we could put on her as clothes, lets get her to my mom before she gets busy.”

On the way to Ami’s mom’s office, she called her.
“Hi, mom. Are you busy? A friend of mine is taking care of his niece. He thinks she might have a little cold and can’t get ahold of her parents. So he asked if I could bring her to you.”
“Sure! When can you get here?”
“We are on our way. Maybe 5 minutes.”
“Ok, see you then.”
