Some Japanese person owns Sailor Moon, I am not Japanese no matter what the people at school think. Some other people own Sailor Moon too, they also own the people in Sailor Moon...guess what that means? I don't own Sailor Moon...imagine that.
Haruka sat with her knees hunched up to her chest on the window seat in the apartment we shared. Her body was so still, and beautiful you would have thought she were a painting, she's certainly inspired enough of mine. Speechlessly I crept up behind her at the window seat, I know she smiled at my presence...I could always feel these things from her, it was a connection we had to each other. Although I knew she welcomed and enjoyed me being there I kept my arms glued to my sides as tight as possible, I'm not sure why...it made no sense. She gazed at my image in the window's glass and saw my anguished look of restraint. Haruka didn't look at me but rather continued to stare at my reflection when she spoke.
"Its ok, no one's here. They can't say a word." She assured me; I smiled sadly...somehow she always knew what was needed no matter if was something to be said or done. I walked to face her and sat between her legs, leaning my back into her chest. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders, slightly brushing my breast with her fingers, leaving her other hand dangling off the windowsill. I laid my head on her chest sideways, closing my eyes forgetting every worry I had about the two of us being together. The space was small on the sill but comfortable, even though the skirt of my school uniform slid down my legs I enjoyed our position. I could feel the body heat on her thighs as we lay there silently, it felt so nice...like I needed her to warm me; we felt like one being on the sill. My breathing was steady but deep and I could hear hers was the same. Her heart was beating so slow and steadily as if she was at rest, I knew she wasn't sleeping because she moved the hand that had been resting at her side over to cup around the inside of my exposed thigh. I sighed both sadly and happily lying there, still keeping my eyes closed...it felt more like a dream that way; I knew this would have to do for a long time to come. I wished we could have more but knew we couldn't because of our agreement.
Haruka placed a kiss so gently on top of my head and my eyes peeked open slowly and I gazed up at her, placing my hands around the sides of her face and lead her into a kiss on my lips. We started the kiss off innocently, just using our lips but as she saw the pain flowing in my eyes caused by all our self-restriction she inched her tongue across mine. She had such sadness in her eyes that it hurt me more then my own pain. I couldn't stand always seeing her unhappy like that. She needed a release and only one thing could do that for the both of us but we just couldn't. Our tongues mixed together then apart and back together again slowly stroking the insides of each other's mouths...as if to map them and she crept her hand up my thigh to my pelvis. We pulled apart to catch our breath even though we weren't kissing still she continued her hand's travels up my leg.
I looked out the window at the falling cherry blossoms, they reminded me of Haruka...beautiful and delicate yet strong and powerful. Haruka is very beautiful, that explains itself and yes, she is delicate even though she won't show it unless you get past the tough exterior and look into her heart. She is deeply effected by things but won't show it to almost anyone and for that she's strong but constantly in vast pain. When she's Sailor Uranus she is the toughest one and could beat anyone in battle yet she doesn't take it for granted and I love that in her. She respects others but in her own way which most people do not realize in her, they think she's cold and heartless. You have to prove yourself to her and loyalty and perseverance are key to her. If you can keep trying to get to her heart no matter what she says to you or how she treats you then she will give you everlasting love.
I was broken from my contemplation Haruka started kissing my neck, sucking in ever so slightly as she naturally breathed in air. I smiled and moved my hand up and down her arm but froze when I saw a young woman run across the street outside the window. Haruka sensed my paralysis and followed the trail of my gaze to see an overgrown mirror chasing the woman; taking a deep breath and closing my eyes I slid away from Haruka and away from the window. She followed me and together proclaimed "Neptune! Uranus! Power Make-up!" We were surrounded in a blast of light then sheltered with ribbons, under which we were nude. The ribbons engulfed us and were replaced with our sailor scout fukus.
As soon as the transformation finished and we were fully disguised we both sprinted to the helpless girl, I felt sorry for her. The girl thought we were there to rescue her but we just had to see if her pure heart contained the talisman we needed to prevent the Silence. When we arrived we ran into Sailor Moon...well, Haruka ran into her quite literally. "Watch where you're running, Moonface!" Haruka shouted, I glanced over at Sailor Moon to see her reaction; she looked upset for a bit and once the other scouts joined her she was fine. She always seemed stronger in many ways when her friends were near. Haruka really shouldn't be so severe to her all the time it's got to be hard on the girl but she seems to shrug it off a lot of the time.
The monster pulled out the girl's heart crystal from her body, the girl lurched forward in pain as the crystal was extracted and the scouts started shouting at the monster, Sailor Moon taking it to her heart the most. She can't seem to stand people being hurt...Haruka admires that in her though she would never admit she admires the girl.
The scouts charged the monster to the side, away from the victim and started attacking with all their hearts. While they were distracted I walked over to the floating heart crystal, Haruka at my side, and picked it up into my hand, showing it to Haruka. Sailor Moon ceased her attacks and charged forward, screaming at us with such hurt, you would think the victim was a close friend of hers. "Give it back! That pure heart doesn't belong to you!" She yelled, her eyes filling with tears as Jupiter stepped up alongside her.
"A pure heart belongs in the body of someone who loves everyone and cares about people!" Jupiter yelled as she stepped into a fighting stance, ready for battle if we felt the need to defend our mission. Haruka just crossed her arms as she continued to examine the heart crystal.
"It doesn't belong to people like you, who only care about completing a mission!" Mars shouted as she joined the others with her hands crossed over her chest, glaring at us angrily.
"Please, give it back, she needs it to survive." Mercury begged us, tears flowing in her eyes as she looked over at the helpless girl lying on the ground. Venus was the last to step up, joining her friends.
"A pure heart belongs to someone who dreams and wants to do good in the world." Venus told us softly, yet it was still in a commanding voice, hoping we'd change our minds. Haruka threw the heart crystal back into the girl's body and the scouts sighed as they watched it float back into it's rightful place.
"It's not the one we need. Let's go." She explained and then commanded as she turned her back to them, I still stood there watching the interaction between them. The victim slowly awakened, groggily and looked around at her setting; she asked confused questions about where she was and how she got there.
"Don't you care what happens to people?!" Sailor Moon cried in bewilderment, looking at Haruka's back sadly. Sailor Moon got so aggressive when she thought someone was being hurt; sometimes it blinded her…she wouldn't realize the person harming another might also be hurting inside themselves. "How can you only care about your mission? You wouldn't even save your own partner without me convincing you first!" Sailor Moon shouted, trying to change Haruka's personality but none of it got through to Haruka, it only made her stiffen and sink deeper into concealing any emotion. Haruka wouldn't turn around…she wouldn't look at me, I knew that's why she refused to spin around to face Sailor Moon. I knew she could argue with her face to face without a problem and would have liked to but she couldn't face me. It was the pain she knew I felt, it would hurt her more then any insults anyone could ever say.
I closed my eyes briefly when Sailor Moon mentioned her not wanting to save me, I know we made a deal. Haruka always stuck to our agreements I could never do that...I can't hide my emotions as well as she can and sometimes I think it's a good thing. I still love her even though she can seem cold to someone who doesn't know her...I do know her that's why I don't think of her as cold, I know how much she hurts. "You don't know anything about our mission! We're trying to save more people then one victim!" Haruka screamed, finally gathering the strength to face me and turned in time to see the monster running at me, she dove forward and blocked it's landing on me. Instead, the two of us piled onto the ground beneath the monster when a rose came zipping into the monster from the sky and the five girls looked up to see Tuxedo Mask as the monster disappeared into the seed. The girls squealed together once they looked up and shouted Tuxedo's Mask's name. "A pure heart should be treasured, not thrown around like a prize." Tuxedo Mask said, giving a speech like he always did when he attacked. Sailor Moon ran over to Tuxedo Mask, tripping halfway to him. Tuxedo Mask and the other girls got sweatdrops on their heads as they watched Sailor Moon fall on her face. I heard Haruka mumble something about her clumsiness as she made a face at the girl and Sailor Mars started yelling at her for being such a klutz.
"Can't you ever walk straight, crybaby?" Mars lectured to the wailing Sailor Moon that lay on the ground, face down. Haruka put her hand on my arm softly and I turned around to face her questioningly and looked into her affectionate eyes that were teeming with such pain. She started walking off and I followed cautiously and silently, looking back at the scouts helping Sailor Moon up and at the pouting Sailor Moon and Mars.
