Sailor Universe: Prologue

Colin stood and watched as Marlena swam through the dark blue water. He wished he could make himself known to her, but he was ordered not to. Why would the fair Princess want anything to do with a lowly knight anyway? His only purpose was to protect her until she left to join Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. It was hard to believe his beautiful Sun Princess would become Sailor Universe, and would have to serve and protect some other princess. Who was Queen Serenity to demand that of the planets??

“Oh, fair princess, you know not of the danger you will meet.”

“Who is there?! Show yourself at once!”

“It is I, Queen Beryl of the Negaverse. You are the only one that can keep me from destroying the Moon Kingdom, and so I shall kill you now before you become Sailor Universe!!”

“Fear not Princess Marlena! I will protect you!!”

“COLIN?! What are you doing here?!”

“Queen Serlena suspected someone was out to hurt you. She ordered me to protect you. Queen Beryl, you will not kill her!!”

“You are not worth my time, knight!!”

The vicious queen threw a spear of dark energy at Colin, and he fell, dying to the ground.

“COLIN!! NO!!!”

“I-I love you, Mar-Marlena. Now run, get away! Your mother can protect you, even though I could not!”

“I love you too, Colin. Rest now, I'll always remember you!”

The princess ran quickly through the woods, but she was not fast enough. The evil Queen Beryl threw several more dark energy spears and killed poor Marlena.

“Now, I'll destroy the Sun Kingdom and then no one can stop me from destroying the precious Moon Kingdom.”
