Sailor Universe: Chapter 11
 
“I am Sailor Universe of the future, and the only survivor of the horrors of the Kullden. They will not leave the Earth alone. After they kill you, they will attack with a viciousness that has never been heard of before. They are greedy and want to rule all, but all of humankind defied them in your name. They fought against the Kullden alongside the Sailor Scouts, but all of us failed. Do not give yourself up or all is lost!”
“How do I know you speak the truth? You have not even shown yourself!”
The cloak fell to the ground, and there stood a beaten Sailor Universe. Her scars were not fully healed, and the bruises were still apparent on her skin.
“Because, I hold your brooch from the future as well as all of the Scouts' transformation pens.”
Sailor Universe weakly held out her hands and showed what they contained.
“I believe you, Princess Marlena. You have given honor to the memory of the Sun Kingdom. Now return to the future, for it is about to change!”
“Of course, my Princess.”
“I cannot believe that I was about to fall for your trick! I vow here and now that the Kullden will be defeated and Karimenta will be destroyed!! I will end the evils that your horrible kingdom seems to be intent upon doing! MOON IMPERIAL BEAM!!”
An amazingly strong attack flowed from Sailor Moon's scepter and annihilated the creature.
“Sailor Moon? Since when was your beam that powerful??! I was thinking you would have to use the Crystal Hearts again because of how strong that Enemy was.”
“Whenever I am extremely emotional my attacks are stronger. You have all seen it before. The Silver Imperium Crystal feeds off of my energy, and everyone releases more energy when they are emotional, no matter what emotion they are feeling.”
“That is true, but still, that attack was awesome! We had better get back to the Temple. Maybe Setsuna should go see if the future has changed.”
“Of course, Ami. Setsuna, will you please contact the future Marlena? Oh, and please hurry. We need to plan a strategy. To the Temple!”
 
**AT THE TEMPLE**
“Mina, could you please come over here? I need to talk to you.”
“What's up, Michiru?”
“I think that Serena banished us for something other than the reason she gave. I think she already knew about the Kullden's past. Did she say anything that agrees with that?”
“No, but maybe you should ask her about it. After all, keeping those kind of thoughts in the dark can be dangerous.”
“You are right, but I don't want her to think that I don't trust her decisions. I know that if she did banish us for another reason she only did what she thought was best.”
“Make sure to tell her that first. Then she will not think that you do not trust her decisions. Um, did the Kullden ever attack in the past before the twins were born?”
“No, the kingdom wasn't always evil. It was once a beautiful and peaceful place. Queen Serenity enjoyed her visits there to see Queen Leona. The twins' parents were the ones who made Nasu an evil place. Those parents killed the true rulers and took over with an absolute control. No one rebelled against them. Then Beryl and Karimenta were born. The evil queen died giving birth to them, and the king ruled until he died.”
“Michiru? Come here please.”
“Of course, Serena. What do you need?”
“I know you do not understand why I banished you. I did not want to, but it was necessary to ensure the stability of Crystal Tokyo. I had to make sure that I could trust everyone in the future to tell me everything I needed to know. And you are right, I did know about the Kullden before you and the others told me. Setsuna had already told me, but warned me that you had to come to me with the truth.”
“I see, Princess. Thank you for explaining it to me.”
“Now, I need your help. We need to move the coronation up to an earlier date, but I do not know how. What should we do to convince Earth's people that I should be queen? How do we make them follow my rule??”
“You appear to them as Sailor Moon. We will also be there as the Sailor Scouts. Tell them the truth about where we are from, and warn them about the Kullden. You must remind them of all that we have done in the past to protect them. They trust us, but will be skeptical at first. However, after much reassurance, they will understand the necessity of you being queen. Serena, it might not work. We don't even know how you became queen in the original timeline.”
“It might not work, but it is the only plan we have. I just hope I am not making the wrong choice in taking the throne early. I am so unsure about things lately. Um, I think I better go talk to Setsuna. I need to go see my mother.”
“But that is not allowed!!”
“I have gone many times already. If I ever have doubts about the future or the Enemy we're fighting, I go to see her.”
“You risk changing everything by going to see her.”
“Nay, I do not. She understands that she cannot change our deaths. She knows that it will cause me unhappiness because than I could not be with Darien. I must go.”
“If you sure, then go Princess. I know that we can trust you.”
