I do not own Sailor Moon, it belongs to Naoko Takeuchi and Sailormoon: Universal belongs to me; Sapphira. No one is to take the characters I made up or this story without consulting me first.

For any of you who have read the orginal Sailor Moon: Universal, this is the same story, execpt in my opinion better and more clear. Also, this is an alternate to Sailormoon: Sailorstars.





Sailormoon: Universal

Chapter one:


Moonlight shined on Tuskino Usagi's face. She rolled in her bed as a haunting dream disturbed her slumber.

A young woman dressed in a dark purple dress that fell to the floor. A silver shawl was thrown over her shoulders to warm her up. One delicate hand was resting one the silver balcany, the other was gripping a a black wand. On top of it was a amythist. Engraved in it was a circle surrounded by a star. It was a symbol for the galaxy. Her blue eyes gazed at the Earth longingly as her long blonde hair blew slightly in a eerie wind. She shivered and looked at the wand in her hand.

Silently a woman even younger looking than the one at the balacny walked up. She haunting auburn eyes and her long golden brown hair fell ontop of her shoukder, not a strand was out of place. This person was dressed in a completly different attire from the other girl. Usagi couldn't remember what it was, but the outfit that the woman on the balancy was dressed in was the outfit her lady-in-waitings wore. This woman wore armor that covered her chest. It was silver with black symbols. The pants she wore were black to match the armor. She wore a black trenchcoat to cover the armor. Attatched to the trenchcoat was a sword. She was a very lovely person. However, she was not beautiful as the woman on the balacany. She had a mysterious beauty and her features looked almost ancient looking. "Aya," she spoke in almost a whisper, "they're coming."

The girl on the balancy frowned. "I figured that with you here," she replied nastily.

"Aya, you're not as stupid as you look," the woman remarked, her sinister aurubn eyes held a hint of mockery. "However, you do not know that Prince Endymion's generals have planned an early attack on the kingdom. You know what we must do."

Usagi quickly sat up in her bed. She was drenched in sweat. She saw a white light forming in front of her. By instienct, she pulled the blanket over her head and tried to hid herself.. A gentle hand rested on the blanket and pulled it off. Queen Serenity of the Silver Milennium stood there.

"M-mother?" Usagi chocked, "were you responisble for that dream?"

Queen Serenity ran a hand though Usagi's hair before she answered her, "I'm sorry I have to show this to you Usagi. Like your Senshi who protected you, those two protected me." The Queen paused to let the words sink into Usagi's mind, "Their names were Sailorgalaxy and Sailorsun. Orginally, there were four Senshi, each one of them died, and their star seeds combined into one, and went to the the most capable canadate; Onizuka Aya. A girl named Kanna Hikari was destined to be Sailorsun, however, like the first four, she died, and the power of the sun awoke in her twin sister, Kanna Kuroshi."

"Kanna Kuroshi.." Usagi said as she tested the name on her tounge, it sounded so familar, "She was the general of the Moon Kingdom's army, correct?"

"Yes," Serenity replied, "do you remember the race of the Youkai?"

Usagi nodded, "there was so few of them. They all died."

"Yes Kuroshi was one of them. But, that's besides the subject...Prince Endymion also had a few people high on court that served as his advisors. Alexandrite, his chief military advisor, and Zincite, his chief defense advisor. They were the first to go against their prince and join Beyrl."

Usagi blinked a few times, "I remember them. I also remember when I heard of their death. I thought it was rumors and continued on with my life..How did they actually die?"

Queen Serenity placed a hand over Usagi's forehead and a white light eminted from her hands. A haunting image filled her mind.

A young man who had sandy brown hair that fell a little past his ears with a red mask on which covered his eyes. He was dressed in gold armor which was trimmed with red and a long red cape inside the cape was also yellow. He also wielded a golden sword.

Next to him stood a girl about the age of seventeen. She had long brown hair with two bradees that were tied into a bun in the back. Her hazel eyes shown unceranity and immatureity. She was dressed in a black bpdy-suit with a blue skirt and a very long sea-green bow. In the center of the bow, was a blue star. It had a circle with a cross on top of itl the symbol of Earth. Around her neck was a blue chocker with with the symbol of Earth in black. Upon her head was a silver tiara, in it's center was a sapphire. In the back of her uniform, were two sea-green bow which almost hit her blue high heels. She was Sailorearth. The holder of the starseed of the planet Earth.

Sailorgalaxy stood silently next to Sunlight Knight. Her fuku was just like Sailorearth's. Execpt, her skirt, bows, and collar was purple. Engraved in the black star for her broach, was the same purple symbol that was on her hensin rod. Her shoes were black boots that reached her knees. She also had a silver tiara that had an onyx gem in the center of it.

Sailorsol stood the farthest away from the group. Her fuku was almost idetical to Sailorgalaxy's. Her bows, collar, and skirt were crimson. Engraved in her black star for a broach was a red circle with a dot in the center of it, it was the symbol for the sun. Her long black bows on the back of her fuku went down to her black combat boots. Each warroir had a determined look on their faces.

There was a white flash in Usagi's mind and the scene changed.

A man holdining a sword that sword had a blade of a black color, with pentagrams and arcs engraved on it, the guard was decorated with much jewlery. The man had black hair that fell into one purple eye. He slowly advanced towards Sailorgalaxy who had a look of horror on her face.

There was another flash in Usagi's mind as the scene changed again.

This time, Sailorearth and Sunlight Knight fought side by side. Sailorearth shouted a few words, as water cicrled around the man with black hair and another person about Sailorsol's age. He had long white hair and piercing golden eyes.(Think Inuyasha from Inuyasha. Without the ears.) However, the attack didn't have any effect on the two men.

The man with white hair held out his hands as a white beam of energy fryed the two.

Now Usagi let the tears run freely down her face as she saw the two men walk away from the battle. The man with white hair spat on the ground where the two warriors lay dead. Another flash was in Usagi's mind as another horrorfing picture came into view.

Sailorsol pulled out a silver blade from the man with black hair. The blade was a beautiful silver color and shone brightly in the light of Earth. The guard itself was made of pure silver and had a cresant moon towards the blade. It was also decorared with a few jewels. As Sailorsol turned around, the man with white hair greeted her with the other man's sword. Since Sailorsol was already weakened, the beautiful blade fell right out of her hands and into the Sea of Serenity.

Sailorsol or General Kuroshi said a few words that Usagi couldn't hear, in fact Usagi just realized this, she couldn't hear anything. That relieved her a little, she didn't want to hear any cries of pain. Sailorsol raised her hands and a wave of fire flashed over the white haired man. However, he just smirked and rushed towards warrior. She didn't have time to react because before she knew it, the blade was jammed into her skin. She slowly chants a few words, as flames appear in front of her, a Pheonix came out of the flames. It flew towards the man. Sailorsol's transformation slowly faded, as does her life and the fire bird.

Usagi closed her eyes, then opened them again to see the worryed face of her mother, Queen Serenity."I shouldn't have shown that to you, Usagi," the queen whispered.

"What happen to them?" Usagi asked. "After they died."

"I used the Silver Crystal to reincarnate them as well. I haven't shown you this vision because I wished to. I feel as if they Universe Senshi must be awakened again. I fear that there is a new enemy approaching." The queen paused for a second before her eyes looked even more hurt. "I must leave no, Usagi. Farewell and be brave."

Just as Queen Serenity faded into a white light, Usagi's head hit the pillow and she fell into a deep slumber.

"New Sailor Senshi?" Minako asked as Usagi tore into her lunch. She couldn't get a chance to speak to anyone since she was late for school-again.

"Uh-huh," Usagi replied nodding with a moutful of rice in her mouth.

Ami, looked slightly disgusted as she slowly ate her lettuce and tomato sandwhich. "Should we contact the Outers about this, I mean Queen Serenity did say that Usagi should awaken new Senshi," Makoto said.

"She's right," Minako agreeed, "I'll tell Artemis and, Usagi-chan will tell Luna, Ami-chan will tell Rei, and Mako-chan will tell the Outers."

"Hey," Makoto said standing up, "why do I have to tell the Outers, why don't you?"

Minako smirked and said, "it was your idea to tell the Outers, so the best person for the job is for you."

Makoto sighed and poked at her rice, "fine, I'll do it," she grumbled, "but I'm not going to like it."

Usagi sighed and looked at the back of the classroom wall, 'The Universe Senshi,' she thought, 'I wonder if they changed any.' Usagi blinked a few times to see Minako trying to steal her dessert, quickly she put her chopsticks between Minako's hand. Minako pouted and started to bug Ami for her desert.

Two elevator doors opened and a teenanger about the age of fourteen stepped in. She had long golden brown hair that was brushed very neatly, her bangs were pushed off of her very pale face. She was dressed in a black knee length skirt with a grey blouse and a black tie. Her shoes were black and polished neatly with white socks. Her most unusual features were her auburn eyes that held maturity in certian situations and pride in others. Without her eyes she would look much younger than she actually was.

"Ah, Miss Kanna," a maid greeted as she steped out from the living room into the parlor. "How was your day at school? And how much homework do you have?"

The teenager looked at the maid directly into her eyes. Quickly, the maid diverted her glance. She said nothing and went past her; up into her room and closed the door silently behind her.

The room was decoratced nicely. It had dark purple wallpaper with matching soft carpeting. It also contained many luxeries like a king sized bed, computer, many gaming systems. Under one of the lamps that light the dim room was a silver cat with emerald eyes. On top of her forehead was a yellow cresent moon bald spot. Her name was Amaterasu.

Kuroshi leaned against the door and crossed her arms, "you wanted to speak to me about something?"

Amaterasu stood up from the spot which she was laying, she streched and yawned as if she had been awaken from a peaceful slumber. "Yes, Kuroshi," Amaterasu replied without making eye contact with the teenager before her. "The time for you to become Sailorsol again has come."

Kuroshi remained emotionless before she replied icly, "I will never live that life again. I met the people who I know I would hate for all eternity as Sailorsol. I died as Sailorsol. I have haunting dreams of my memories and Hikari's before and after we became Sailorsol. No more."

Amaterasu shuddered at Kuroshi's words. "Kuroshi please," she pleaded, "you're being selfish. You have a---"

"No, Ama," Kuroshi replied walking over to Amaterasu when she was standing right next to the cat she finished her sentence, "you're being selfish." She paused a moment, "I'll tell you what. I'll find your prescious Universe Senshi if you will not allow me to become one."

"Kuroshi---please." Amaterasu whispered. It was not unlike Kuroshi to act so cruel to others. But, she was nice to the people she trusted. Amaterasu knew Kuroshi for more than half her life and this was the first time she was so vain. Finally Amaterasu sighed, "Alright, I won't force you to become Sailorsol. But, you must help me find the Universe Senshi and help a little with the mission we need to accomplish."

Kuroshi plopped down on her unmade bed and rested her head on a pillow, "I'm all ears, what's the mission?"

"I know something will happen. For the last year I had an onimous feeling. I knew danger was near. Did you watch the six o'clock news yesterday?" Amaterasu asked.

"No, I didn't," Kuroshi replied, "I only read the newspaper, you know that."

"Well, today in Japan, two people ages of six and nine mysertously aged sixty years!"

Kuroshi raised an eyebrow for a second, "Japan? Where in Japan?"

Amaterasu thought for a moment before she replied, "Tokyo the Juuban district, I believe."

"Well then," Kuroshi began" why can't the Sailor Senshi take care if it?"

"Queen Serenity told me to awaken you. As I recall you followed her orders to the death."

"That was a liftime ago," Kuroshi replied. "But as I told you, I will NOT become Sailorsol again."

"I heard you the first time," Amaterasu replied.

"I wonder what Mako-chan called us here for.." Michru wonderd out loud.

"Whatever it is, it cannot be good," Haruka replied as she parked the car by the Hikawa-jinja.

"Haruka!" Micrhu began in her scolding voice, "you shouldn't talk like that. Maybe they just wanted to get re-aquainted."

"I doubt it," Haruka replied as her Michru, Setsuna, and Hotaru who looked about twelve years old got out of the yellow convertable. A scream was heard on the top of the steps of the jinja. Quickly, the Outer Senshi raced to the top to see the rest of the Inner Senshi transformed. Sailormercury was scanning the area with her visor, Sailorjupiter and Venus were talking to one another. Worry was clearly written on their faces. And Sailormars was leaning over an elderly woman. The all noted someone was missing..

"What happen to Usagi?" Michru asked.

"She's right here," Sailormars said. Next to her lay an old woman her face was covered in wrinles, and her grey hair was held in odangos. Hotaru covered her mouth to prevent any gasps from escaping her throat.

"How did this happen?" Haruka demanded as she bent down next to Usagi.

"It was all my fault," mummered Sailormars as she slowly stood up. "There was a little girl who appeared her a few minutes before she came asking for some prayer beads. The next thing we knew was she dragged Usagi outside because she had to show her something, when then heard her scream and quickly transformed..."

"Then," Sailorjupiter finished, "we ran outside and witnessed her age before our eyes. The girl then disappeared into no where."

"She might have been after the Silver Crystal," Sailorvenus said.

"No," Sailormercury said before she turned off her visor, "if she wanted it, she would have gotten it by now. In fact, the Silver Crystal is the only thing keeping her alive."

Haruka cursed under her breath before drawing a conclusion, "Rei, call an ambluence. We'll tell Mamo-kun the news when we make sure Usagi is at the hospital."

Sailormars nodded weakly before she de-transformed with the rest of the Senshi. She slowly turned for a house when Makoto turned her around, "I'll make the call, you should lay down Rei. It wasn't your fault."

Ami nodded, "she's right. It could have happen any time."

"Whoever did this will pay," Rei promised before following Makoto into the jinja.
