Writer's Note: This story, SailorSoldiers.NeoGenesis, can be read one of two ways. Through the Starlight series or the Moonlight series. The plot is the same, but its two completely different views. Please only read one of the two because you might be confused, or you might get spoilers on what is happening next. In the Starlight series, it deals with the incarnations of the soldiers of the stars (Lights, Zodiac and Asteroid senshi). The Moonlight series deals with the soldiers of the stars (Planetary (Mercury, Venus, etc), Moons and Lights). If you want to read about the incarnations of the original sailor senshi please wait for the Moonlight series to come out, maybe in a few days. Or else please read on, arigato!
Note: An eternity bracelet is a bracelet that is attached to a ring by a thin (or thick) chain. I will have a picture of one on my site (when I get it up) of what each one looks like. If you wanna see a pic that I made for my series, go to http://www.freewebz.com/krisis/sailortaurus_1.jpg and tell me what you think.

Chapter One: Awakening the Dead
Written By: Krisis Conspire
"Name please," asked the receptionist at the entrance of the church.
"Camryin Aino," the young lady replied coldly anxious to get inside the building. Many people had come earlier and there were not many seats left. This girl must have been popular if she's attracting this many people, she thought to herself as she watch hoards of people still exiting their vehicles in the parking lot across the street. She must have been important too if you have to sign in to see her.
"Go right ahead miss Aino."
Without thanking her, the golden-haired girl entered the large wooden oak doors. A sea of black filled the room as the visitors cried and mourned in the girl's absence. There was not a single smiling face in the gigantic room, not even the little children seemed cheerful that day. She didn't expect there to be anyone in a good mood anyhow. Calmly, Camryin walked up the aisle past the sorrowful crowd to the open casket in front of the altar.
Taking out a small picture from her black leather handbag, she compared the face of the dead body to the image. It was a perfect match. The same fire engine red hair, and the angelic features of her face matched the lady in her picture. She was the one that she was sent to find. Too bad all these people are here, or else I could just take care of this little task right now, she groaned crumpling the photo in her hand.
"Excuse me miss," came an elderly man's voice from behind her. "We are about to start the service now, can you please take a seat?"
"Yes father," she answered the priest politely. Finding a seat in one of the first aisles Camryin sat down patiently as the funeral service began. Opening her leather bag slightly she fiddled around the few contents looking for one specific item. Finally her fingers found the charm that she had been searching for. She had been to funerals all over the state of California looking for this person that she was sent to find and had come up with nothing until now.
Flashback . . . . ..
"Thank you for coming Gemini," came a voice from the doorway. The sailor Senshi turned around from her window to face her summoner. "Personally I didn't think you'd come."
"My name is Camryin," she commented to the sky-hair girl before her. "I would appreciate it if you would call be by my name Mikyla-sama."
"As you wish Camryin-san," Mikyla smiled to herself as she placed a strange piece of jewellery on the conference room table. It was covered by shadows so she couldn't see what it was exactly. "There is something I must ask of you. A mission of sorts."
Her dark blue eyes followed her leader as she walked to the other side of the room where a briefcase was located. "What sort of mission?"
Slowly Mikyla opened the black suitcase and took out a picture and closed the case. Using telekinetic powers, she threw the photo at Camryin's face. With her fast reflexes, the blonde was able to catch the paper several millimetres in front of her nose. Flipping the photo she looked at the picture.
"I need you to find this person, before the next full moon occurs on Earth."
"Earth?" Camryin hissed angrily. Mikyla knew her hatred of that planet and of her objection of laying a foot there again.
Mikyla nodded. "I know you don't like that place, but that's just an incentive for you to get it done quickly now isn't it?"
She glared at Mikyla for a long time before speaking again. "And why are you wanting me to find this girl exactly?"
"She hosts a true cele-crystal, you remember what those are right Camryin-san?"
"Yes, crystals are part of people which determine their existence. Without them they would die. True crystals are special and give sailor Senshi the ability to live for extended periods of time or to be reborn right after death in another body."
"Yes. But this girl's crystal is different from a normal true crystal. Unlike mine which has been passed down to me from one of my ancestors, this girl hosts a dual crystal," Mikyla began to explain. "A dual crystal is one that comes from two ancestors. One part of her crystal can be reborn, but the other will not occur again for another ten thousand years. It is this rare half that I am wanting to save."
Camryin stared in confusion. "What do you mean save?"
"This girl has died. If she is not revived by the next full moon of Earth, then the rare half will die and all I am working for will fall to pieces."
"If this girl is so important, then why don't you or the others go after her instead? Sakura-sama and Trinity-sama are much more qualified soldiers than I am. I'm not even a sailor Senshi yet, I haven't even been selected for the Knight's Challenge yet," she objected to her nomination. "Mikyla-sama!" Camryin called out in aggravation noticing that she was being ignored. Suddenly the piece of jewellery that Mikyla had placed on the table when she entered was emitting a strange golden glow. It was an eternity bracelet with the symbol of zodiac sign of the Gemini, her sign.
In curiosity, she tried to pick the trinket up. The moment her fingers touched the glowing surface of the golden band it gave off a bright light causing Camryin to shield her eyes. When the light had disappeared, the bracelet was no longer on the hardwood table. Removing her arms from her face, she noticed a warm glow on her right forearm. Somehow the bracelet had transferred itself onto her arm. "What is this?" she asked Mikyla.
"It has recognized you as Sailorgemini, as I knew it would," she remarked giving Camryin a cheerful smile. Quickly her smile had turned back to its serious face once again. "You will need that power in order to revive this girl. You will use these items in order to do so," the blue-haired girl told her soldier throwing a glowing red orb toward her making it stop in front of her. When the orb had stopped in its flight, it materialized into two objects. One was an eternity bracelet similar to the one that she had, and necklace with a symbol dangling from a silver chain. She couldn't understand the symbol and was not really interested in what it meant. "Once the time comes, you as Sailorgemini will know what to do with the necklace. As for the bracelet, it is her transformation charm like yours."
"Sailortaurus?" she asked recognizing the symbol from the zodiac.
Mikyla nodded in reply. "It will glow, similar to how yours did when you were near it, when you find the right girl if the picture is not enough. Good luck in your mission Camryin-san."
"Wait!" she called out. "What's her name?"
"Unfortunately that is unknown to me. She is only one of five dual crystal holders that I've been able to sense. The only information that I was able to get was where her funeral is being held. My sister who shared my vision drew that image. There is a ship in the bay that is ready to transport you to that place. It is in the state of California in North America. You might want to visit the linguistics department before you leave, since you speak Japanese. There I believe they speak English. The rest of the information you will receive on the way back to Earth."
. . . . . End of Flashback
The bracelet glowed an eerie shade of red in the presence of this girl. She must be Sailortaurus, Camryin thought as she watched the bangle emit its colour. Closing the bag, she glanced around the room to pass the time. From past expeditions she learnt that funerals could take a long time depending on the amount of people that attended. Judging by this crowd, it was going to take a very long time. Glancing at the decorations surrounding the coffin, she noticed a small poster with the girl's name on the bottom of a photo.
Natalia Wilino, she wondered as she ran the name through her memory a few more times. It sounded familiar, but she couldn't remember where from.
Suddenly a strange feeling came over her body, as if someone was watching her. Trying not to look strange, her dark navy eyes looked around the room trying to find out what was making her feel this way. She saw nothing but sad faces and mourners. Nothing out of the ordinary. When the feeling had left, she decided that it was nothing to be worried about, perhaps she was becoming paranoid because of being alone for so long. Quietly she waited for the service to end.
Several hours later . . . . .
It had been a long time since the service had ended and Natalia's coffin had been moved to a different room for private viewing. The family had asked for the burial not to happen until the next morning so the body was still above ground. This was the last night before the full moon was to occur and also Camryin's last chance to revive Natalia's body. Though she still didn't know how she was going to achieve this, she continued on with her mission. It was now nine o'clock at night and it was dark in this part of the holy grounds. Making sure that no one saw her, she tiptoed her way to the room that held the dead body.
Only three steps away from the door, a rather large man interrupted her. "What are you doing?" he snapped as he hovered over her trying to intimidate her. "Didn't you hear that viewing hours are over?"
"I know," she said calmly. "But I didn't get a chance to say good-bye to Natalia because there were so many people before me. I thought that if I came now it would be alright."
"Sorry Blondie," he told the girl rudely. "But I'm afraid that you can't see her right now. You can come bright and early tomorrow morning before she's buried. Got it?"
"But she's my best friend! I can't leave without . . .." she began to lie.
"Look! I don't care if you're her mother! I got strict orders not to let anyone in this room so beat it!"
Hmm, guess they hired a bodyguard for tonight. Strange, who would want to do anything to a dead body? Camryin wondered just as she remembered what she was here for. Suddenly she felt a strange but familiar energy begin to build up on her right arm. Glancing down, she noticed that her eternity bracelet had appeared on her wrist. An eerie feeling began to rush into her filling her body with a strong energy. She could sense her thinking patterns begin to change, like she was becoming a different person.
"Last chance little girl," the muscular bodyguard warned the small girl.
"Have it your way," Camryin spoke in a different tone than before. Raising her right hand to the bodyguard's face, her ring emitted a strange light into the guard's face. When he made a move to push her away, the light began to glow brighter. So bright that she herself wouldn't be able to keep her eyes open, but somehow she was. When the light had died, the bodyguard fell to the floor beside her.
He lay on the cold floor with his eyes wide open, motionless.
Did I kill him, she thought frantically wanting to bend down and check if the man was all right. She had never killed anyone before. Seriously hurt lots of people but never killed. Instead her body stepped over the corpse and entered the room.
In the middle of the large room lay the white ivory box. Surrounded by roses and sprigs of Baby's Breath, it laid with the top closed. Grabbing a nearby chair, she jammed the door shut to prevent intruders from interrupting the revival. By now she had lost control of her own body. Something was controlling her, telling her what to do. Opening the black leather purse she carried with her, she took out the other bracelet and the necklace that she was given by Mikyla.
With the trinkets in hand, she opened the lid of the casket. This should be interesting. Taking the bracelet that was now glowing with that same eerie shade of red it did before, she placed it in between the hands of Natalia's unmoving body. Taking the necklace she laid it across her neck. As her hands left the chain a strange symbol appeared on her neck and began glowing in rhythm of the charm. Ignoring this event, believing that it was part of the ritual, she backed away from the coffin. There was one thing that she had to do.
Raising her right had to the air, she began uttering words. "Gemini Pow . . .."
In the middle of her transformation call, a very loud banging noise came from the other side of the door interrupted her. When she didn't answer, a rather large person tore down the door and part of the wall. When the dust had cleared, she recognized the person as the bodyguard from before, except now something was different. He had grown much larger in size and his muscles were overly huge.
"Who are you?" Camryin demanded backing away from the man.
"Get out of here!" he demanded walking towards the intruder throwing each item in his path away. "Haven't you heard that disturbing the dead is bad luck little girl."
Camryin began backing away slowly afraid for her life. Where had that person gone, the one that took over her body when she first encountered the bodyguard. That person didn't fear him back then, but why did she now?
"Get out! Get out!" he chanted breaking every piece of furniture he came by in his pursuit. With amazing strength, he grabbed the solid oak desk that rested against the wall and lifted it over his head. Screaming once again he threw the desk at Camryin who was trapped in a corner with no place to run.
The young girl screamed in pain as she felt the sharp corner of the desk scrape across her right cheek as she ducked to her left to try and avoid the projectile. She covered the wound with her hand trying to protect it from debris. Before she had a chance to recover, she was grabbed by the throat and suspended in the air.
"You don't listen very well do you?" the grotesque creature commented as he tightened his grip on her neck. He was breathing heavily as if this power he attained was too great for him. The bodyguard had changed drastically, his skin was now a sick shade of purple and his eyes were glowing with red light as if he were possessed. A symbol had appeared on his forehead, one that she hadn't seen before but seemed familiar somehow.
Her hands grabbed at his massive arms trying to break his grip, but with no avail. She struggled to get a single breath through her mouth. "Gemini . . . . . " she squeaked trying to summon her power. Raising her right hand to the creature's face, she whispered the words, " . . . Dyadic Incineration!" Immediately two beams of golden light shot out from her palm and blasted the man in the head. Releasing his grip he was thrown back and through the wall on the opposite side of the room. Falling to her knees she coughed violently as she tried to recover her breath. Is this what it's like being a Senshi, she wondered as she glanced up at her attacker.
Miraculously he rose to his feet in a matter of seconds, barely phased from her attack. She was weaker in this form and she knew it. She had to transform, it was the only way she could protect herself. Summoning her strength, she raised her right hand to the sky and screamed out loud, "Gemini power! Make-up!"
As the words left her lips she felt a surge of power enter her body creating a golden symbol on her forehead. A stream of golden light surrounded her body and lifted her several inches off of the ground. A shower of stars circled her body slowly at first, but then gaining speed fast creating several ribbons of gold. The stars then wrapped tightly against her skin creating a new layer on top of them. Thrusting her arms to her side the bands of gold snapped apart and left behind a black body suit and elbow length gloves. A few more stars circled around her waist, elbows, neck and feet forming saffron additions to her outfit. Opening her eyes, a thin bright red ribbon wrapped around her golden locks pulling them into a high ponytail above her head. When her transformation was complete, she floated gracefully to the ground.
I am a real sailor senshi? Camryin thought to herself, as she looked her body over. She was wearing the traditional outfit, with her specific colours of course. A pleated yellow coloured skirt and a collar to match with a single black band going around it. Her choker and shoes (high heels with a single band overtop of her ankle, the same as Sailorvenus') were yellow as well. The bows on her chest and back were a golden orange colour with her gloves mainly black with yellow bands overtop.
"How impressive," the creature growled as he crept closer to her once again. "So you are Sailorgemini huh? They told me you were coming tonight."
"What!" she exclaimed getting into a fighting stance. She new some martial arts but only enough to beat a weak opponent, nowhere near the level that of Mikyla or her team.
"Yes," the mutated human told her. "The children of Terra created me just for you, the golden-haired soldier protected by the twin stars. I have to admit that I am disappointed. I had expected more of a fight from a sailor senshi hailing from the Silver Knight Academy."
Sailorgemini clenched her fist in anger. "How dare you!" she screeched flailing her arms to her sides. Bringing her outstretched arms out in front of her chest a yellow ball of fire began to form between her palms. "Dyadic Incin . . ."
In the middle of her attack a bright light had suddenly blown the lid of Natalia's coffin apart. The intense white light that shone down on the necklace that she had placed on the body was growing and glowing very brightly causing Sailorgemini to shield her eyes. From behind her hand, she could see Natalia's dead body beginning to levitate out of the coffin. The black dress that she was draped in hung down as gravity pulled the thin fabric downwards, her bright red hair falling towards the floor.
"No!" the creature hissed as he watched the girl float in the heavenly aura. Raising his arms to the air he summoned the dark energy that created him in his hands. "She must not be awakened! The Corona must not reawaken!" he declared lunging the energy sphere at Natalia.
"Dyadic Incineration!" she yelled sending a pair of illuminated spheres against his attack. The three spheres exploded loudly upon colliding.
"I must not allow . . ." he stammered rising to his feet and preparing to attack once again. When he had summoned enough energy to attack Natalia once again, the light that surrounded her body spread out like an explosion shattering all that surrounded her and sent Sailorgemini crashing through a few trees.
Struggling to get up, she saw the body of the bodyguard turn to ashes as the white light tore through his body. What's happening? she wondered shielding her eyes. Through her fingers she saw Natalia's silver-crystal like eyes open in the light. She blinked a few times and began raising her right hand to the skies. She stayed in that position for a while, as if she were waiting for something to touch her hand.
Suddenly, a figure had materialized above her in the glorious light stream. It looked like a human figure, but with wings coming out from its back. It was impossible to see the features of the being because of the intense shine that it emitted. Slowly flying down to the waiting maiden, it extended a warm hand. Happily, Natalia took the spirit's hand. The moment that their fingers touched bright white wings sprang from her spine as if they were there the whole time, waiting to be free. Allowing the angel to guide her above, her she followed as it lead her to her destiny.
Mesmerized by the event happening in front of her, she gasped in awe as she watched Natalia being taken to heaven above. With her eyes used to the intense light she lowered her hand to get a better view. From the corner of her eye she saw a figure in the shadows of nearby trees. Bright lavender eyes glowed as the figure raised a hand strangely to the sky and creating a fist once the maximum height was achieved. At the same time many silver chains erupted from the earth heading straight for Natalia. Once reaching her height, they dug deep into the girl's skin penetrating her bones. At once metal cuffs formed on her body where the chains had inserted themselves.
Natalia's eyes widened in fear as she tried desperately to get away from the chains, fanning her wings trying to fly away. The Angel also tried to pull her away from her impediment. When she could see that her act was being rebelled against, the stranger in the shadows waved her left hand in the air summoning an army of silver arrows from the skies. The arrows shot towards the Earth surrounding Natalia, piercing and tearing away at her black silk dress. Unfortunately she had released her grip as an arrow tore across the knuckles of her hand.
Seizing the opportunity, the lavender-eyed shadow threw Natalia to the ground violently using the chains as an extension of her hands. Pieces of earth and ruins began flooding the air as the poor girl slammed deep into the ground. When the dust cleared, the white light began to fade.
Weak and tormented Natalia's body lay motionless on the ground for a short time. Camryin had thought for sure that she was dead for real, until she began to twitch. Her right hand began to quiver, grabbing hold on pieces of debris that lay around her body. Red blood fell from her hand from the wound she had acquired. The liquid first bright red, but quickly turned black exposed to the earthen air. Slowly she began lifting her upper body on weak arms. When she was finally able to sit up, she lifted her pained eyes to the sky as the last of the light had began to disintegrate. A tear fell as she whispered a few words to the sky, too quiet for Sailorgemini to hear from her location.
Awkwardly, Sailorgemini took a few steps toward the fallen girl. Her dress was torn badly and a few drops of rain began to fall as Natalia let her tears flow freely down her pale face. A pair of white angelic wings remained attached on to her spine. As she walked toward the tortured soul, she transformed back into her normal state, letting her powers flow back into the bracelet she wore. The closer she got, she noticed that the chains that had entrapped her earlier were still attached to her. There were three chains attached to her left wing and two held the other to the ground. Two large chains were attached to each of her leg and four held down each arm. Around her neck formed a silver band that didn't seem attached to anything, but she hadn't noticed it earlier when she saw Natalia in the coffin. Bending down to her level, Camryin checked to see if she was all right. She wasn't sure what had just happened and wasn't' sure that she believed it either.
Hanging her head down, the being once known as Natalia stared at the trinket that encircled her left wrist. A bracelet attached to a ring was now glowing deep red with the symbol of the bull encrusted along the band. Closing her eyes she felt a powers filling her lifeless body. One a sinister power, and another even more evil than the one that the bracelet was giving her. "Is this Hell?" she stammered through her tears.
"What?" Camryin asked taken back by her remark.
"Is this Hell?" she repeated in a harsher tone than before.
"No," the blonde-haired girl assured Natalia. "This is Ea . . .. "
Her hands gripped the stones that had fallen around her, the rain becoming heavier as her tears flowed more and more around her small fragile face. "This must be Hell!" she cried harder. "Where else is there?"
Camryin could feel a small pain in her heart as she muttered those words. She was supposed to go to Heaven? Was that who that Angel was, her guide, she wondered staring up to the skies? From the corner of her eyes she saw her, the one that forced Natalia back to the Earth. She was about to say something to her when she suddenly jumped from her perch disappearing into nowhere. All she could see as a flash of her sky blue locks.
Immediately and name came to her mind when she put together the orchid eyes and the sky coloured hairs. "Mikyla-sama?"
