Short chapter. Review and they will get longer………(insert evil laugh)

Rei was growling with frustration. First she runs off with some guy none of them got a good look at, now she wasn't here and they needed her. She dodged another barrage and looked at the others. None of them were fairing well. Mina's scream alerted her and she turned to see a metal spike speeding towards her. There was nothing she could do though, she was used up. Suddenly a gentleman's cane intercepted the spike and it landed, impaling itself on the ground at her feet. Tuxedo Mask appeared retrieving his cane as he stood between them and their enemy. Suddenly Serena was at her side.

"Are you hurt?"

"What the Hell took you so long?"

Serena winced and rose. She pulled out her wand and watched as Darien fought him. She needed an opening, but Darien was in the way. She started to move, but her ankle gave out. With a gasp she fell to her knees. Rei's eyes went wide as Serena seemingly gave up.

"You are such fucking useless little cunt! Give me the wand and I will do it."

Serena heard Darien cry out and looked up. He fell to the ground a metal spike through his right arm. With a laugh he turned to look at her.

"Was he your champion?"

She watched as he gathered his power and with a swatting motion sent another spike towards Darien's unprotected chest. Serena felt something snap inside her. She surged to her feet, ignoring the pain and placed herself between him and danger. The spike shattered against the shield formed by her energy. She was panting with pain and rage as she stared him down.

"How dare you hurt Endymion? You shall pay for your crimes."

Where she got that name she didn't know, but deep down it felt right calling him that. The power gathered in front of her, a beacon of light before shooting out at him. He raised his arms to protect himself, but the gesture was futile. The second the light touched him, he was turned to ash. Gasping softly she sank downward only to be caught by Darien. She smiled up at him.

"I don't suppose I could talk you into helping me home?"

"No problem."

He wrapped his good arm around her waist before leaping skyward. Lita watched them go, tears in her eyes. "Serena…she didn't mean it."
