Chapter 21
Back in the steel
Ami sneaked around behind pipes and walls as she looked for their pursuers. She was highly on edge as she noticed just the little things around her, and because the way *those two* could fight she had a good reason to worry.
Sailor Moon couldn't even look at her companion in the face after the heated argument was concluded. Even after all of Endymion's plea's to keep Amy out of the fight, she was released. Sailor Moon merely nodded at Amy and off she went.
Ami, Raye, and Haruka were all still in the hospital & more than half of the them were very low on energy to fight back with.
Amy however was not tired, she was not weary, she wasn't drained, and she sure wasn't in pain.
Quietly she crossed the upper beams and walkways in the steel-mill, while looking down at the floors below searching for the gunmen, and more in particular, the two first gunmen.
The remaining gunmen in two groups searched the first floor and were beginning to go the the second floor.
Amy saw them. The problem was she didn't know who were the two she wanted to kill once and for all.
The gunmen all stood nearly equally in height, their weapons all looked the same sorta, they all wore the black-ski-mask.
(So who is whom?) She thought. She had to be sure. If she fired at one group, the others would see her and fire on her, or worse the two first one's would sneak around behind her.
She began to feel a surge of sensation in herself. She stood quickly to her feet, and swung around another side of a pipe looking down at them. The sensation was replaced by a feeling of invincibility.
She began making her decent down to them, quietly. Her body toughened and armored, her feet and hands were now deadly edged claws, the two hinged spikes folded away from her and pointed back for ease of movement, her body retreated anything that was not *needful* for battle into herself.
The gunmen moved carefully in deeper in the steel-mill, watching the corners, and watching each others backsides.
Endymion was furious, having been practically silenced, then watched as Amy sprinted off.
"Usako, what have you done?"
"What have I done? We can't fight them like this." She replied.
"What harm can't she cause that we can like the way we are now?"
"Don't you see? She can't control herself, like Sailor Mercury can. If she fires in here, we can get caught in the blast too."
Sailor Moon's eyes widened at the though. She remembered what happened the first time she fired. Though accidental, she still killed many people in the process of aiming at one of the first gunmen.
The other Senshi looked on helplessly in their argument. It wasn't for them to interfere this time. Besides, they had other problems to worry about.
Their own injuries, lack of reserve energy, and dwindling numbers.
It was Sailor Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, and a pessimistic Endiymion.
Sailor Moon did the one thing she could think of. She ran to Amy to warn her.
Amy was still moving behind the gunmen carefully avoiding any sound, and doing well at it too.
(A little closer, I can get'em all in one group shot.) Amy thought to herself... until-
"AMY DON'T FIRE INSIDE!" Sailor Moon called from behind. Amy heard her and turned on a reflex, so did everyone else.

[POOM!! Click-Clack] [tattattattattattattattattattattattattattat!!]

All over again the gunmen turned at the sound and opened fire. Amy was pelted with gunfire as she turned and aimed her hand out.
"DOWN-DOWN!!" One of the men yelled as they all jumped and ducked behind cover.
[WHOOSH!] Writhing waves of freezing air, rushes across the floor of the mill, freezing everything it touched.
When the clouding effect of her blast began to subside...
Out came the Assailant already having discarded his jacket and rifle, drawing out both the sharp blades from his arms, the rattling mechanical-tail accompanied over 750 pounds of flesh and steel.
Out came the Creature, eight feet in height, along with nearly 1500 pounds of bone and muscle under his control.
"Johnathan-" Said Sarah
"Rex-" said Angela
"Kill her."
In one lengthwise leap the Creature jumped at Amy and slammed a fist down, she barely avoided him. The other came from behind, skidding on the ice then whipping a blade at her head.
The Creature clawed at her trying to grab her as the Assailant ran around her to her backside.
Amy jumped high away from them. Not because of any magical power she should have had, just with strength.
The Creature followed also in one leap. Amy's hinged spikes lunged forward piercing the Creature in his chest and out his back. He grabbed the spike and pulled it out, and used the spike as a handle throwing her back down on the floor level. She landed face-down as the Assailant picked her up by the neck and threw her away towards a door leading outside.
Amy was getting up as she saw the masked Assailant running at her, and stretched out her hand [WHOSH!] It was to late, even as his side was frozen
from her blast, he ran through it and jumpped his knees into her face, sandwiching her between the wall. She regained her awareness, then slashed at his throat, and clawed his legs, desperately trying to bleed him out.
Her fingers dug into his side, but he picked her up and threw her outside, also tearing more flesh from him.
From an open window above the Creature saw Amy thrown aside then he jumped down.
[CHOOOOK!!!] The concrete gave into submission under the feet of the Creature as it shattered and fragmented.
He ran behind Amy, grabbed the spikes and flung her into a garbage dumpster. Amy was standing up as she saw the Assailant rushing at her. He raised his knee to her face,
she raised her arms to block the strike then pushed him on his back. She was on top of him and lifting him by his face and rammed him into the floor twice! She could feel him trying to grab her, but her grown armor from her skin made it impossible for him to do that. She saw the Creature running at them with thumping footsteps.
She threw the Assailant at the Creature with one hand. The Creature stopped in his tracks from the impact, but didn't fall, but they did both see Amy outstretched arm.
[WHOOSH!] The writhing wave of frozen air rushed at them. The Assailant whipped his tail at a small-car, piercing it's engine.
"Drag it!" The Assailant yelled, and the Creature pulled on the tail to quickly pull
the car in front of the both of them.
Inside the mill:
By now gunfire and the occasional sounds of energy blasts were being heard from inside the steel-mill.

The Senshi ran as quicly as they could dodging in and around the steel structures.
Gunfire echoed. Not once letting up. Like at the bank, when two went empty the other seven men and women fired at them, never giving them a second to catch their breath.
Sailor Venus was being chased by two of the gunmen. A high walkway caught her
attention. She jumped up to avoid her pursuers.
[POOM Click-Clack!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakkakkakKakKakKak!!]

She wasn't even half way to the high platform when she was shot-down. While still none of the rounds pierced her, the stinging effect was quite overwhelming. She staggered away and behind a empty vat.
"Oh.... it hurts. It's not supposed to be like this."
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!]

Two rows of fire trailed to her sides, effectively cutting off any further retreat. She was unwilling to use her chain attack again, and since unable to see where the gunmen were shooting from, she couldn't even use her more offensive abilities.
"This isn't supposed to happen this way!" She yelled, frustrated.
Sailor Pluto was in a worse state.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakakkKak!!] [POOM!! Click-Clack]

She was to slow to run, and too injured to jump to safety. The pursuing gunmen just walked along the back wall, and fired at her. They wouldn't let her jump even if she could.
(Oh, this isn't good.) She thought as she saw the approaching gunmen. Her power reserve was also low. She fired twice before, but she had to fire so quickly she couldn't recover her strength to fire again. It did make the gunmen take more interest in cover if anything else.
Both Sailor Moon and Endymion were being chased. Not, they were retreating, they were being chased.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakakkKakkakkak!!]
They were flushed from one hiding place.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakak-kakkakkak!!]
Then forced to leave before they could get a chance to catch their breath.
"Go! I'll distract them!" He said bravely to Sailor Moon pushing her ahead. No sooner he leaped towards the pursuing gunmen.
[kakkKakkakkak!!] [POOM!!] Rifle fire pelted him and tripped him, a shotgun blast knocked him end over end, and dropped his sword. But he was able to scramble to safety.
"Bullshit." Ronnie said plainly.
"My dad, five years ago, shot a guy in the fuckin' heart near the border. Guy turned and ran like he was gonna win the super bowl. At least he died. What does this fucker do? Takes a shot-load and scampers off." He said putting three rounds into his shotgun.
"Ron, not now." Adrien said.
"I'm just sayin' it ain't natural."
"Ronnie, save it for later." Adrien said louder.

Back outside:
Amy was hit with force of a 2-ton train-wreak when the Creature slammed both fists knocking her away. She grabbed at the ground with her claws, stopping immediately then fired. [WHOOSH!] The freezing air froze the creatures legs, turning them into fragile stumps.
The Assailant came from the side and grabbed both her arms. He used his body as a fulcrum and was trying to snap her elbows off. At least that's what it felt like to Amy.
He swung her down crushing her arms under his weight. [WHOSH!] A blast emitted just from her skin, but he didn't let go. He cranked harder, trying to twist her arm off like a chicken wing.
She then stood up at the waist, and slammed him down on his back. [WHOSH!] She aimed her hand but his tail grabbed her wrist and aimed it elsewhere. Still holding her, she was flung up aginst the wall. As soon as she hit the ground she ran at him again, whipping her two spikes cross-wise.
Both spikes were blocked with his bare hands, then he leaped up and wrapped both his legs around her waist. [THUMP!] The sudden weight slammed her right knee into the ground and split it open. It should've hurt, but it didn't.
She twisted and turned, she was jabbing her elbow on his knee to pry him off. Then a big hand came from behind and lifted both of them.
The Assailant let go, landing on his back. Amy saw the sky one moment, then her head was buried in the ground. The Creature pounded again and again into her with his fists.
Her two spikes lashed out and stabbed into his chest and flung him away. Finally out of the ground- [CRACK!] Down again with the Assailant's punch. Both knees drove into her back and ribs. She rocked to one side and toppled him off.
The Creature returned. A hand plowed into her face, then he bit her entire head into his mouth. She first felt the high pressure of him muzzle trying to crush her skull, then she felt the other guy pulling on her legs.
Her eye was gouged out from a tooth, her teeth were being grinded against each other aginst her will, muscles and tendons in her neck and back were tearing from the foundation of her spine.
She reached up and grabbed the top of his muzzle and froze it on contact. She
twisted her head and broke the muzzle away. She pulled the Assailant into herself and completely ripped out his throat with a high-pressure spray of blood covering the both of them. His elbow hooked from above and slammed her off of him.
The Creature grabbed her from behind and began crushing her under his strength.
She remembered this feeling... the air escaping from her lungs, and being unable to get any back in. Her head was grabbed by both hands by the Assailant, and pulled down into his knee.
Then the Creature felt his arms being pried off. Amy was thrashing about and got her hands under his arms and was prying herself free.
The Assailant grabbed the side of her head and punched twice before she jerked her head away, leaving a piece of her scalp in his hand. Freeing herself from the two of them.
Back on her feet again, she lunged forward with her claws, his arm blade paried her hand. [WHAK!] He turned into her and whipped his elbow in her rib and changed his grip as he twisted her arm behind her back. [SHRIK!]
He stabbed his blade into her arm and out her chest!
(Oh, that's not good!) Amy thought.
"I got her, get back inside!" The Assaialnt yelled to the Creature. And off he ran.
Inside the Mill:
Rattling gunfire and far-to-few energy blast echoed inside the mill. Pluto half carried Neptune with one arm over her shoulder as she limped beside her. As they turned one corner, they stopped and nearly screamed. It was the Creature. He didn't see them though and continued on his own path.
"What's he doing back inside?" Neptune quietly asked out-loud.
"I-I don't know." Pluto answered.
"....It's my fault."
"What?"
"It's my fault, I came up with this plan to draw them in here. Nothing changed. It's my plan, my fault, and we're going to die in here because of me."
"Well, I guess it's better then no good-plan." Pluto looked over her shoulder.
"How's your leg? Good enough to jump?"
"Not very high. Do you think they'd see us if we did jump?"
"...Good point. Come on, we have to tell the others."

Two gunmen were quickly running after Sailor Moon. [POOM!!] She ducked behind pipes and walls, anything to put her between the gunmen and herself. [POOM!!] She realized jumping to safety wasn't an option any longer, and only put herself in danger.
"Get-her, Get-her, Get-her!" One of them barked. [POOM!! Click-Clack]
"Keep her runnin'!" [POOM!!]
"Run Rabbit Run!" Yelled the other.

Two different gunmen in pursuit of Sailor Venus on the high levels of the mill.
[KakKakKakKakKak!!][KakKakKakKakKak!!] They fired in suppressive rows and waves.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKak!!] They fired in bursts. Venus ducked in a control room that handled moving vats and containers, but no sooner she sat down.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] Rifle fire tore through the fragile wall of the control room. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The little hut was being torn from the outside without need of direct confrontation.
"Oh Come on!" Yelled a woman. She pulled out the empty drum of her AK and loaded a new drum. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The other fired into the wall of the little hut. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The other fired from side to side, ripping apart the hut from the outside in, shattering plastic and glass, denting thin sheets of metal, striking electrical equipment and a small computer to operate the machinery inside.
"Come on out blondie... Got a tin full of mayhem waiting for ya." The other gunman, another woman, said to herself.
(I'm screwed no matter what I do at this point.) Venus thought to herself. She leaped out of a shattered window and leaped over a guard-rail, jumped down to a platform below, walked underneath the two gunmen.
(Here goes.)
"Venus Love-Me Chain!" In a flash, the energy chain reached for one for the gunmen and wrapped around the waist. Before She could process what happened, Venus pulled back on the chain. The woman yelled as she was pulled over the guard rail and landed on a cross-section of pipe. Before the other woman could react, Venus pulled again, the first woman was yanked again and found herself being pulled through a square opening.
She stopped herself by bracing her AK in the opening. She looked down and saw the long way down she'd fall if she let go.
"Shit, shit, SHIT!" Both her arms wrapped around the AK, the only thing keeping her from falling.
The second woman was already running as fast as she could. Down on set of stairs to another, and to another. Finally reached her.
"Hana, you okay?"
"NO Rayne, I'm not okay!" Venus pulled again. Hana resisted. Rayne pulled on Hana's wrists, but as sailor Venus, she was much stronger than they were combined. Venus pulled again, then the chain slipped down off her waist and over her belt of spare ammo-drums. It pulled her pants down to her ankles.
(A woman?) Venus thought as she could undoubtedly see this persons undergarments.
Rayne got a great idea. She let go of Hana, and put the AK back in her hands.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKak!! ]
Bullets rained down. They ricocheted of the floor and the walls in all directions.
Venus was not quite in harms way when she pulled again, this time the chain
tightened fiercely around her ankle.
"ARUGH!!" Hana yelled in agony. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKak!!] Rayne showered all she could from her AK at Venus. Rounds struck Venus' mere exposed legs. Venus was forced to let go and run again. The chain also dissapiered freeing Hana.
"Get me up!" Rayne dropped her AK and pulled on Hana from under her arms.
"eee, ARGUH!"
"Shut-up!" Rayne yelled in a panic, as she heaved Hana on the walkway.
Hana was sweating through her ski-mask as she forced herself aginst the pain to pull her pants up, and fastened the buckle of her belt. Every motion she made caused her ankle to remind her of her injury. She breathed and heaved as she examined her AK.
"Fuck..." She held on the gun so hard it bent the receiver a third of the way.
"Just perfect." She threw the damaged AK away and pulled out her FEG pistol from inside her waistband. [Click-Clack!]
"Don't tell Ronnie about this, right?"
"What for? He couldn't care less if you were hurt."
"No, I mean that my pants came undone. He knows I'm Bi, so he'd never let me live this down... Gives him one more thing to harass me on" With that said, Rayne helped Hana up and began a slow walk back to the parked cars outside.
Rattling gunfire all around, echoing aginst metal hollows, sparking aginst metal surfaces, tearing fragile morale.
Near the front of the mill entrance The one men guarded calmly, while others
searched pursued and fired, one guarded the main entrance. Since John was dealing with Amy through the rear exit, they were sure no one would bother trying to leave. They saw two figures, one limping.
"Guys we could use some help here." Rayne called out. One masked gunman, Randy, ran to them.
He got her other arm over his shoulder and led her outside. He undid her shoelaces and carefully removed tennis-shoe, to see her injured ankle.
"Oh shit, that's bad. Uhh.... stay here, I'll get Red." he ran back inside to Adrien who resupplied himself from the truck of a car.
"Adrien, where's your wife?"
"Ran off with Sharah that way. I think they saw one of the girls."
Randy took off, still holding his AK.
Sharah and Regina were, in-fact, chasing after Sailor Jupiter.
[KakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKak!!] Rifle fire poured down on her, at every chance they saw.
Jupiter saw a long walkway as she turned a corner and jumped far ahead. When she landed she turned to face them. She had to guess how far they were behind her when she jumped. She heard one of them yell something...
(Close enough.)
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" By the time her projectile traveled down the walkway the two following gunmen barely reached the turn. [BOOM!] Her attack was still powerful, it just a second ahead of them.
(So close.) She thought, then ran again.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] Both gunmen fired as they ran after her. Jupiter looked over her shoulder before she made another
turn. [THUMP.]
"Ouff!"
"OWW!" Startled and having the air knocked out of her, as she ran into someone.
Jupiter looked up to see who she knocked down, even if by accident.
"Venus?"
"No time, we need to go." Venus said in a panic as she fiercely pulled on Jupiter's arm to her feet
"Two of them are behind me too."
"Your problems just shoot guns. My problems' worse!"
Jupiter looked behind Venus.
"HOLY SHIT!" She exclaimed. The Creature was running at them. She bolted to her feet and they both ran away from both the Gunmen and the Creature. The Creature reached the junction and pursued both Senshi.
The two gunmen saw the Creature and slowed to a stop.
"Yeah, let him chase them for a while. Give us a chance a catch our breath." Sharah said.
"Yeah, if the heat-waves back in L.A. dont bother him, this must be a breeze." Regina addded.
"Guys!" Randy yelled from behind at the two of them, gaining their attention.
"Guys. Either of you know where Regina is?"
"That'd be me." Regina answered as she pulled her ski-mask to show her face.
"Red, I'm no doctor, but Hana's ankle is like, all broke. She can't walk or nothing. She outside by the main-door near Adrien."
"Damn. Fine, stay with Sharah." Regina took-off to the entrance.
"So who are we after?" Randy asked.
"I forget her name, but she's tall and has big tits."
"Tall?"
"Well, taller than others."
"Fuckin' A"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The Creature pursued both Venus and Jupiter, and as bad luck had been a
constant companion...
"Run!!" Venus screamed at Sailor Neptune and Pluto. Pluto had no choice, she
picked Neptune into her arms and ran for dear life. The three Senshi ran, The Creature not far behind.
"Pluto, get her to safety. We'll try to slow him down." Pluto jumped to the
next walkway going to the side, but when Jupiter and Venus turned to attack,
The Creature instead followed Pluto. So off they ran to chase him.
The Creature knew Sailor Pluto was stronger than either the two girls
following him, but as long as she had her hands full carrying one of their
friends, she wasn't going to fire at him. As she ran she saw Endymion just as
he saw her, and the Creature in pursuit.
Endymion jumped over to the walkway, and evasively slashed at the Creatures
legs. It didn't slow him down.
"Crescent Beam Shower!"
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Both attacks merged and pierced the Creature in
various points of his body. Blood spilled, he was on his hand and feet, but
he didn't slow down. He ran on all fours and healed as he ran.
"That's not fair." Jupiter said to herself.
"Come-on!" Venus added.
"HELP ME!!" Pluto Shouted.
Endymion rushed to her side as quickly as he could.
"Take her. I can't run with her anymore." She placed Neptune in his arms.
"Careful with her, her legs hurt bad, and she can barely walk."
"Right."
(Now how do we stop him?) Pluto thought. As she, with the others ran.
(Our powers barely work on him even if we concentrate together.)
They ran so hard. No one could see the gunmen anywhere. The reason was because unlike either The Assailant or The Creature, they could run out of breath after so much running.
(How can we hit him hard enough to put him down and out? At the same time?)
She remembered about the subway tunnel. Four concentrated attacks, in two
strikes. It did stop him briefly, even stunned him.
"Venus, I got a plan."
"I'm listening."
"Tie up his legs. I need to talk to Neptune." Before Venus could answer Pluto
leaped away.
"You want me to do, what?!" But with few other choices she did anyway.
"Venus Love-Me Chain!" The light emitting chain shot-out and entangled around
the ankles of The Creature. He stumbled and crashed aginst metal walls, guard-rails, and pipes.
(I hope your plan works.) She thought as The Creature severed the chain with
his bare hands, freeing his legs. He stood and continued to run after
Endymion and Neptune.
"So where's Sailor Moon?" Pluto asked running along-side.
"She got shot by one of them, and it took all her will to fight out of her.
Couldn't even stand. She's in a safe place for now." He replied
"Fine. Neptune, you're not going to like this but I need you to use your
attack."
"Right' Just tell me when." They leaped form one level to a lower level going
closer to a steel vat as Pluto explained her plan. The heat was sweltering and
nearly unbearable. Sweat poured from their faces just as they approached.
"This better be a good plan."
"It's the only one I got." She finished saying as the Creature came into view
and charged at them. Neptune laid up against a wall prepared to attack.
"Deep Submerge!" Her attack charged forward, but wasn't aimed at him, but
into the molten steel. Blinding steam billowed everywhere. It was so thick,
like fog. They could hear his thumping footsteps as he walked around, but
this time it was obvious he couldn't see them.
"Quietly, lets go." The three slipped away. and re-found Venus and Jupiter
again, and made their way to find Sailor Moon.
By the time The Creature found his way out of the steam, they were long gone.

Office room in the mill:
The five remaining Senshi and Endymion gathered togeather quietly.
"How is everybody?" Sailor Moon asked. She herself was bruised from shotgun
fire, as she sat on a table.
"We can't keep this up." Jupiter flatly said.
"Our powers are getting weaker and weaker, as they keep shooting and those

"I agree. It's only a matter of time now. We can't keep running. We can't
fight them head on. Pluto added.

At the front of the mill:
The Creature reverted close enough back to his human form to be able to
speak.
"They did something to the steel and I lost them. I don't know where they
are." His voice deeply rattled out.
"Fine, where's John?" Angela asked.
"If he hasn't returned here, then he must still be dealing with Amy out back.
I haven't seen her inside either, so he must still have her tied up."
"Guy's, Problem! Gail got shot." Tanner said as he entered the mill.
"I need help to get him in here or he's going to die out there."
"I'll help." Rayne said rushing out with Tanner.
"Okay, now We need help regardless, or this ain't gonna end." Ronnie added
"Think you can get John to turn the blocker off?" He asked Sharah
"I can arrange that." She answered.
"Randy, come on." And the two ran to the back. Rex also turned and resumed
searching as he reverted back into the Creature.
As they traveled further back into the mill, they ran into a problem. The
remaining Senshi and Mamoru.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakkakkakKak!!]

Utter mayhem all over again. The two blazingly fired at them.

Sharah and Randy pulled back away from them, as they fired at the Senshi, not
giving them a moment to collect their thoughts to attack or defend.

Venus saw that black ski-mask figure with the gun in hand. Just like from the
beginning in Ami's car early during the Spring season.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakkakKak!!] She saw the gunman's feet below a section of pipes.
"Venus Crescent Beam!" Her attack sliced through metal. The next moment half
the gunfire stopped. The other gunman stopped shooting, momentarily.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakkakKakkakkakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!! ]
The other gunman pulled away as he fired from side to side, then ran off to
the back to Johnathan.
To their own shock and disbelief, the remaining Senshi realised...
"He's not moving." Sailor Moon said.
Endymion approached and carefully removed the ski-mask.
"A woman?" A tall blond woman. He looked down at her hand still clenching to
the gun, then flicked it away with his sword. Her eyes were so trans-fixed,
her eyelids were fixed open as if she was staring into space.
"She's dead?" Jupiter asked.
Endymion waved his hand in-front of her eyes a few times.
"Yeah, I think so."
Randy watched them huddle around Sharah's body.
(Oh-no, John is gonna flip over this.) He didn't have enough to sustain a
fight with all of them at once. He had to leave.

Front of the Mill:
[Crack! Bang! Crack-Crack!] Tanner and Rayne raced to the front of the
Mill gates against police fire. [Crack Crack-Crack! Bang, Bang-Bang] Rayne
dived for the dropped RPD machine-gun and rose the over the hood of a car.
[Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak -Kak!!]
She leaned down on the trigger whipping it from side to side. Cops panicked
and dived for cover.
[Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak -Kak!!]

On and on she fired as Tanner pulled on Gail's heavy body back inside the mill.

Tanner was pulling on Gail's body as he moaned and screamed in agony. Rayne
quickly looked over her shoulder to see if it was fine to come back when she
felt burning hot lead rip into her chest. It made her let go of the gun and
fall to her knees, and land on her side.
"RAYNE!!" Hana screamed as she saw her go down. She tried to stand, but
couldn't. Another masked gunmen grabbed her by the belt and dragged Hana in.
Back inside the mill the steel doors shut and were latched shut.
Regina was all over Gail attempting to close off his wounds, anything to stop
his bleeding.
Hana was an emotional wreak seeing her lover die so quickly before her, as
she cried with her face in her hands and the pistol by her side.
(We need help. Now.) Adrien thought.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Further inside the Mill, The Senshi stuck together while not, for once,
being chased. They moved from one high walkway to another, being very careful
with Neptune due to her injury.
From below The Creature had already seen them, but this time he waited, to
see if they would get themselves trapped in a dead-end walkway.
He scanned as best he could with his eyes, but no dead-ends to be seen. None
on this level anyway. He quietly climbed up the pipes, and walls to move
around behind them. But as strong as he was, he wasn't always aware of his
footing. [SSNAPP!!!] A pipe gave way under his weight and crumbled, creating
a ear wrenching sound. In a reaction he looked to the source of the sound
just as the remaining six Senshi also looked at the Creature.
"RUN!" Sailor Moon shouted. The Creature sprung up and wreaked the walkway
from beneath and chased after them again.
His girth slammed through the flimsy steel of guard-rails and walls. Delicate, frightened girls scattered deeper in the mill, and to evade the Creature they had to hide deeper in the sweltering heat.
They landed near another large containment vat of molten steel, and hid. The Heat was
unbearable. They saw the Creature in the mesh of pipes and tubing as he searched for
them.
He searched carefully. He didn't fool himself into thinking they couldn't see him. He
was very certain they did see him.
The heat was so high and he had to be so close to the vat of molten steel. He kept his
muzzle open to vent the hot air from his body.
Jupiter tapped on Pluto's shoulder and gestured to attack at the same time. She agreed.
Finally the Creature showed his back to them.
"Dead Scream."
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" He heard them shout and turned. His open hand swung around,
obliterating Pluto's attack. The second projectile collided into his chest burning the hair on his chest.
The Creature ran at the two women with full force. The two Senshi scrambled and ducked
behind pipes and steel. [CRASH!!!] The steel bent and gave way under his strength as he
collided. His arm lashed out reaching for either of the Senshi. Jupiter looked up and
saw a opening, she jumped for it.
The Creature raced up as well, lunging his arm over her. Nearly took her head off as
she ducked back down. The Creature tore steel obstacles with his hands.
"Deep Submerge!" Neptune's attack hit the Creature dead-on, but it didn't slow him
down. In fact it seemed as if he didn't feel it.
The Creature lunged his arm in the enlarged opening reaching for either trapped
Senshi.
Sailor Moon watched, knowing her powers did nothing to harm the Creature in any way.
She had an Idea. She remembered the combined attacks back in the tunnel.
"Venus. Can you get his attention away from them? We need to get them out of there."
She nodded.
"Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" Her energy attack sliced from the outside of his shoulder
to the other side of his ribs.
It got his attention alright. As his wound closed, he jumped down and chased after her.
Endymion ran along with her for help.
They ran from one walkway to another. Sharp turns, and jumping from one platform to
another. Nothing stopped his pursuit of them. Endymion pushed heavy machinery into his
path. The Creature smashed the machines out of his way into pieces.
Venus dashed ahead and turned.
"Crescent Beam Shower!" Projected energy in a dozen streams sliced into his flesh. It
would've been nice if it slowed him down. She turned and ran again. They turned one corner and another again.
They arrived back near the vat of molten steel and jumped away separately.
Neptune had sweat dripping down her face, as she leaned against a hot wall, as her leg swelled in increasing pain.
"Deep Submerge!" The Creature swatted her attack away again. Pluto Saw Neptune's attack, and opened a portal to catch it before it disappeared.
The fight continued, but not for Sailor Neptune. She was so physically exhausted she
collapsed, and crawled away behind a control room. She had never been his tired and sore without having to sacrifice her life to defeat an enemy.
(If only my leg wasn't so hurt... if only Haruka was here.)
Jupiter leaped off a wall and sung her knee to the back of the Creature head. The
Creature swung his fist nearly crushing her. On her feet, Jupiter side-stepped to the
side and struck her elbow in his ribs. She was grabbed and thrown up aginst the wall,
she saw his knee speeding to her face.
"Venus Love-me Chain!" Jupiter's leg was wrapped and pulled to safety from between the Creature's legs. He swung his clenched fist at her head, nearly killing her.
"Together"
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
"Supreme Thunder!"
The two attacks combined in the air, but were side stepped passing the Creature's side.
He found it odd he didn't hear an explosion behind him.
Pluto jumped and landed near the vat of molten steel.
"Dead Scream." The ball of energy hurled at the Creature, but he merely grabbed it,
then hurled it back at her.
She opened a portal just as it approached. At that moment all the Senshi leaped away
and towards Pluto. The Creature stopped, turned on a dime, and pursued again.
"Man, I hope this works." She said.
"If not, we're all finished." Endymion. added. Sailor moon nodded her head in
agreement. As the Creature came closer, they all leaned back and fell backwards into the vat.
He was stunned. He slowed his running to a walk, and looked over the edge into the vat
of glowing, molten steel. It was 30 feet down to the surface of the liquid steel, but
he didn't hear a splash or even any screaming. It confused him a little.....
Something got his attention from behind. He didn't hear her approach, but he knew all
the same she was there. He quickly swung a clenched fist around.
Pluto ducked under the limb at shoved her Garnet rod at his waist. A portal opened.
Before he could react, a glowing white hot ball of energy erupted from the portal and
slammed violently into his stomach. It was so much force, his body was ripped in two!
His lower half dropped into the steel and his second lower half of his left arm also
fell off. His body almost fell into the vat. He slammed his remaining hand into the steel wall of the vat with his claws being the only thing he could use. Alive and wreaked beyond logic, he looked up at the girls standing above him. It was an awkward
position to be in. Then he began desperately regenerating his limbs back as quickly as
he could.
"No." Pluto said flatly. She opened the portal again, then the remaining combined
energy violently disentigrated his other arm at the bicep.
He fell again, and as he fell he remembered something, in the back of his mind he
remembered a quote...
(For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die,
you are forgiven. Such is the rule of honor.)
His thought ended as he sank into the steel. Burned and incinerated beyond his ability
to regenerate.
There were no celebrations. They still had to deal with the other one, and the
remaining gunmen.

Randy reached the back of the mill as he saw both John and Amy fighting to kill
each other. At this point John's face was torn off reveling the metal under layer. Both their clothes were damp from sweat and blood, and apparently it snowed earlier.
Amy was somewhat bald, from John always grabbing her hair, and she would yank herself
away from his grip.
Amy whipped a spike nearly hitting his throat. John however saw one of the masked
gunmen at the doorway motioning to him. He charged Amy while being impaled with her
claws and spikes. He lifted her up and used his tail to remove her off of him and flung
her over a unhitched trailer. He turned an ran for the door way as his tail retreated
back into his body. By the time Amy got out she frantically searched for the Assailant.
"John, you're needed up front right fucking now."
"Right." Both began their way back to the front of the mill.

Chapter 21
Back in the steel
Ami sneaked around behind pipes and walls as she looked for their pursuers. She was highly on edge as she noticed just the little things around her, and because the way *those two* could fight she had a good reason to worry.
Sailor Moon couldn't even look at her companion in the face after the heated argument was concluded. Even after all of Endymion's plea's to keep Amy out of the fight, she was released. Sailor Moon merely nodded at Amy and off she went.
Ami, Raye, and Haruka were all still in the hospital & more than half of the them were very low on energy to fight back with.
Amy however was not tired, she was not weary, she wasn't drained, and she sure wasn't in pain.
Quietly she crossed the upper beams and walkways in the steel-mill, while looking down at the floors below searching for the gunmen, and more in particular, the two first gunmen.
The remaining gunmen in two groups searched the first floor and were beginning to go the the second floor.
Amy saw them. The problem was she didn't know who were the two she wanted to kill once and for all.
The gunmen all stood nearly equally in height, their weapons all looked the same sorta, they all wore the black-ski-mask.
(So who is whom?) She thought. She had to be sure. If she fired at one group, the others would see her and fire on her, or worse the two first one's would sneak around behind her.
She began to feel a surge of sensation in herself. She stood quickly to her feet, and swung around another side of a pipe looking down at them. The sensation was replaced by a feeling of invincibility.
She began making her decent down to them, quietly. Her body toughened and armored, her feet and hands were now deadly edged claws, the two hinged spikes folded away from her and pointed back for ease of movement, her body retreated anything that was not *needful* for battle into herself.
The gunmen moved carefully in deeper in the steel-mill, watching the corners, and watching each others backsides.
Endymion was furious, having been practically silenced, then watched as Amy sprinted off.
"Usako, what have you done?"
"What have I done? We can't fight them like this." She replied.
"What harm can't she cause that we can like the way we are now?"
"Don't you see? She can't control herself, like Sailor Mercury can. If she fires in here, we can get caught in the blast too."
Sailor Moon's eyes widened at the though. She remembered what happened the first time she fired. Though accidental, she still killed many people in the process of aiming at one of the first gunmen.
The other Senshi looked on helplessly in their argument. It wasn't for them to interfere this time. Besides, they had other problems to worry about.
Their own injuries, lack of reserve energy, and dwindling numbers.
It was Sailor Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, and a pessimistic Endiymion.
Sailor Moon did the one thing she could think of. She ran to Amy to warn her.
Amy was still moving behind the gunmen carefully avoiding any sound, and doing well at it too.
(A little closer, I can get'em all in one group shot.) Amy thought to herself... until-
"AMY DON'T FIRE INSIDE!" Sailor Moon called from behind. Amy heard her and turned on a reflex, so did everyone else.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakkKak!!]
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [tattattattattattattattattattattattattattat!!]
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!]
All over again the gunmen turned at the sound and opened fire. Amy was pelted with gunfire as she turned and aimed her hand out.
"DOWN-DOWN!!" One of the men yelled as they all jumped and ducked behind cover.
[WHOOSH!] Writhing waves of freezing air, rushes across the floor of the mill, freezing everything it touched.
When the clouding effect of her blast began to subside...
Out came the Assailant already having discarded his jacket and rifle, drawing out both the sharp blades from his arms, the rattling mechanical-tail accompanied over 750 pounds of flesh and steel.
Out came the Creature, eight feet in height, along with nearly 1500 pounds of bone and muscle under his control.
"Johnathan-" Said Sarah
"Rex-" said Angela
"Kill her."
In one lengthwise leap the Creature jumped at Amy and slammed a fist down, she barely avoided him. The other came from behind, skidding on the ice then whipping a blade at her head.
The Creature clawed at her trying to grab her as the Assailant ran around her to her backside.
Amy jumped high away from them. Not because of any magical power she should have had, just with strength.
The Creature followed also in one leap. Amy's hinged spikes lunged forward piercing the Creature in his chest and out his back. He grabbed the spike and pulled it out, and used the spike as a handle throwing her back down on the floor level. She landed face-down as the Assailant picked her up by the neck and threw her away towards a door leading outside.
Amy was getting up as she saw the masked Assailant running at her, and stretched out her hand [WHOSH!] It was to late, even as his side was frozen
from her blast, he ran through it and jumpped his knees into her face, sandwiching her between the wall. She regained her awareness, then slashed at his throat, and clawed his legs, desperately trying to bleed him out.
Her fingers dug into his side, but he picked her up and threw her outside, also tearing more flesh from him.
From an open window above the Creature saw Amy thrown aside then he jumped down.
[CHOOOOK!!!] The concrete gave into submission under the feet of the Creature as it shattered and fragmented.
He ran behind Amy, grabbed the spikes and flung her into a garbage dumpster. Amy was standing up as she saw the Assailant rushing at her. He raised his knee to her face,
she raised her arms to block the strike then pushed him on his back. She was on top of him and lifting him by his face and rammed him into the floor twice! She could feel him trying to grab her, but her grown armor from her skin made it impossible for him to do that. She saw the Creature running at them with thumping footsteps.
She threw the Assailant at the Creature with one hand. The Creature stopped in his tracks from the impact, but didn't fall, but they did both see Amy outstretched arm.
[WHOOSH!] The writhing wave of frozen air rushed at them. The Assailant whipped his tail at a small-car, piercing it's engine.
"Drag it!" The Assailant yelled, and the Creature pulled on the tail to quickly pull
the car in front of the both of them.
Inside the mill:
By now gunfire and the occasional sounds of energy blasts were being heard from inside the steel-mill.
[KakKakKakkakkakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakkakkakKakKakKak!!]

The Senshi ran as quicly as they could dodging in and around the steel structures.
Gunfire echoed. Not once letting up. Like at the bank, when two went empty the other seven men and women fired at them, never giving them a second to catch their breath.
Sailor Venus was being chased by two of the gunmen. A high walkway caught her
attention. She jumped up to avoid her pursuers.
[POOM Click-Clack!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakkakkakKakKakKak!!]
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!]
She wasn't even half way to the high platform when she was shot-down. While still none of the rounds pierced her, the stinging effect was quite overwhelming. She staggered away and behind a empty vat.
"Oh.... it hurts. It's not supposed to be like this."
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!]
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!]
Two rows of fire trailed to her sides, effectively cutting off any further retreat. She was unwilling to use her chain attack again, and since unable to see where the gunmen were shooting from, she couldn't even use her more offensive abilities.
"This isn't supposed to happen this way!" She yelled, frustrated.
Sailor Pluto was in a worse state.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakakkKak!!] [POOM!! Click-Clack]
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakakkakkakkakkakkakkakkKakkak!!] [POOM!! Click-Clack]
She was to slow to run, and too injured to jump to safety. The pursuing gunmen just walked along the back wall, and fired at her. They wouldn't let her jump even if she could.
(Oh, this isn't good.) She thought as she saw the approaching gunmen. Her power reserve was also low. She fired twice before, but she had to fire so quickly she couldn't recover her strength to fire again. It did make the gunmen take more interest in cover if anything else.
Both Sailor Moon and Endymion were being chased. Not, they were retreating, they were being chased.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakakkKakkakkak!!]
They were flushed from one hiding place.
[POOM!! Click-Clack] [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakak-kakkakkak!!]
Then forced to leave before they could get a chance to catch their breath.
"Go! I'll distract them!" He said bravely to Sailor Moon pushing her ahead. No sooner he leaped towards the pursuing gunmen.
[kakkKakkakkak!!] [POOM!!] Rifle fire pelted him and tripped him, a shotgun blast knocked him end over end, and dropped his sword. But he was able to scramble to safety.
"Bullshit." Ronnie said plainly.
"My dad, five years ago, shot a guy in the fuckin' heart near the border. Guy turned and ran like he was gonna win the super bowl. At least he died. What does this fucker do? Takes a shot-load and scampers off." He said putting three rounds into his shotgun.
"Ron, not now." Adrien said.
"I'm just sayin' it ain't natural."
"Ronnie, save it for later." Adrien said louder.

Back outside:
Amy was hit with force of a 2-ton train-wreak when the Creature slammed both fists knocking her away. She grabbed at the ground with her claws, stopping immediately then fired. [WHOOSH!] The freezing air froze the creatures legs, turning them into fragile stumps.
The Assailant came from the side and grabbed both her arms. He used his body as a fulcrum and was trying to snap her elbows off. At least that's what it felt like to Amy.
He swung her down crushing her arms under his weight. [WHOSH!] A blast emitted just from her skin, but he didn't let go. He cranked harder, trying to twist her arm off like a chicken wing.
She then stood up at the waist, and slammed him down on his back. [WHOSH!] She aimed her hand but his tail grabbed her wrist and aimed it elsewhere. Still holding her, she was flung up aginst the wall. As soon as she hit the ground she ran at him again, whipping her two spikes cross-wise.
Both spikes were blocked with his bare hands, then he leaped up and wrapped both his legs around her waist. [THUMP!] The sudden weight slammed her right knee into the ground and split it open. It should've hurt, but it didn't.
She twisted and turned, she was jabbing her elbow on his knee to pry him off. Then a big hand came from behind and lifted both of them.
The Assailant let go, landing on his back. Amy saw the sky one moment, then her head was buried in the ground. The Creature pounded again and again into her with his fists.
Her two spikes lashed out and stabbed into his chest and flung him away. Finally out of the ground- [CRACK!] Down again with the Assailant's punch. Both knees drove into her back and ribs. She rocked to one side and toppled him off.
The Creature returned. A hand plowed into her face, then he bit her entire head into his mouth. She first felt the high pressure of him muzzle trying to crush her skull, then she felt the other guy pulling on her legs.
Her eye was gouged out from a tooth, her teeth were being grinded against each other aginst her will, muscles and tendons in her neck and back were tearing from the foundation of her spine.
She reached up and grabbed the top of his muzzle and froze it on contact. She
twisted her head and broke the muzzle away. She pulled the Assailant into herself and completely ripped out his throat with a high-pressure spray of blood covering the both of them. His elbow hooked from above and slammed her off of him.
The Creature grabbed her from behind and began crushing her under his strength.
She remembered this feeling... the air escaping from her lungs, and being unable to get any back in. Her head was grabbed by both hands by the Assailant, and pulled down into his knee.
Then the Creature felt his arms being pried off. Amy was thrashing about and got her hands under his arms and was prying herself free.
The Assailant grabbed the side of her head and punched twice before she jerked her head away, leaving a piece of her scalp in his hand. Freeing herself from the two of them.
Back on her feet again, she lunged forward with her claws, his arm blade paried her hand. [WHAK!] He turned into her and whipped his elbow in her rib and changed his grip as he twisted her arm behind her back. [SHRIK!]
He stabbed his blade into her arm and out her chest!
(Oh, that's not good!) Amy thought.
"I got her, get back inside!" The Assaialnt yelled to the Creature. And off he ran.
Inside the Mill:
Rattling gunfire and far-to-few energy blast echoed inside the mill. Pluto half carried Neptune with one arm over her shoulder as she limped beside her. As they turned one corner, they stopped and nearly screamed. It was the Creature. He didn't see them though and continued on his own path.
"What's he doing back inside?" Neptune quietly asked out-loud.
"I-I don't know." Pluto answered.
"....It's my fault."
"What?"
"It's my fault, I came up with this plan to draw them in here. Nothing changed. It's my plan, my fault, and we're going to die in here because of me."
"Well, I guess it's better then no good-plan." Pluto looked over her shoulder.
"How's your leg? Good enough to jump?"
"Not very high. Do you think they'd see us if we did jump?"
"...Good point. Come on, we have to tell the others."

Two gunmen were quickly running after Sailor Moon. [POOM!!] She ducked behind pipes and walls, anything to put her between the gunmen and herself. [POOM!!] She realized jumping to safety wasn't an option any longer, and only put herself in danger.
"Get-her, Get-her, Get-her!" One of them barked. [POOM!! Click-Clack]
"Keep her runnin'!" [POOM!!]
"Run Rabbit Run!" Yelled the other.

Two different gunmen in pursuit of Sailor Venus on the high levels of the mill.
[KakKakKakKakKak!!][KakKakKakKakKak!!] They fired in suppressive rows and waves.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKak!!] They fired in bursts. Venus ducked in a control room that handled moving vats and containers, but no sooner she sat down.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] Rifle fire tore through the fragile wall of the control room. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The little hut was being torn from the outside without need of direct confrontation.
"Oh Come on!" Yelled a woman. She pulled out the empty drum of her AK and loaded a new drum. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The other fired into the wall of the little hut. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] The other fired from side to side, ripping apart the hut from the outside in, shattering plastic and glass, denting thin sheets of metal, striking electrical equipment and a small computer to operate the machinery inside.
"Come on out blondie... Got a tin full of mayhem waiting for ya." The other gunman, another woman, said to herself.
(I'm screwed no matter what I do at this point.) Venus thought to herself. She leaped out of a shattered window and leaped over a guard-rail, jumped down to a platform below, walked underneath the two gunmen.
(Here goes.)
"Venus Love-Me Chain!" In a flash, the energy chain reached for one for the gunmen and wrapped around the waist. Before She could process what happened, Venus pulled back on the chain. The woman yelled as she was pulled over the guard rail and landed on a cross-section of pipe. Before the other woman could react, Venus pulled again, the first woman was yanked again and found herself being pulled through a square opening.
She stopped herself by bracing her AK in the opening. She looked down and saw the long way down she'd fall if she let go.
"Shit, shit, SHIT!" Both her arms wrapped around the AK, the only thing keeping her from falling.
The second woman was already running as fast as she could. Down on set of stairs to another, and to another. Finally reached her.
"Hana, you okay?"
"NO Rayne, I'm not okay!" Venus pulled again. Hana resisted. Rayne pulled on Hana's wrists, but as sailor Venus, she was much stronger than they were combined. Venus pulled again, then the chain slipped down off her waist and over her belt of spare ammo-drums. It pulled her pants down to her ankles.
(A woman?) Venus thought as she could undoubtedly see this persons undergarments.
Rayne got a great idea. She let go of Hana, and put the AK back in her hands.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKak!! ]
Bullets rained down. They ricocheted of the floor and the walls in all directions.
Venus was not quite in harms way when she pulled again, this time the chain
tightened fiercely around her ankle.
"ARUGH!!" Hana yelled in agony. [KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKak!!] Rayne showered all she could from her AK at Venus. Rounds struck Venus' mere exposed legs. Venus was forced to let go and run again. The chain also dissapiered freeing Hana.
"Get me up!" Rayne dropped her AK and pulled on Hana from under her arms.
"eee, ARGUH!"
"Shut-up!" Rayne yelled in a panic, as she heaved Hana on the walkway.
Hana was sweating through her ski-mask as she forced herself aginst the pain to pull her pants up, and fastened the buckle of her belt. Every motion she made caused her ankle to remind her of her injury. She breathed and heaved as she examined her AK.
"Fuck..." She held on the gun so hard it bent the receiver a third of the way.
"Just perfect." She threw the damaged AK away and pulled out her FEG pistol from inside her waistband. [Click-Clack!]
"Don't tell Ronnie about this, right?"
"What for? He couldn't care less if you were hurt."
"No, I mean that my pants came undone. He knows I'm Bi, so he'd never let me live this down... Gives him one more thing to harass me on" With that said, Rayne helped Hana up and began a slow walk back to the parked cars outside.
Rattling gunfire all around, echoing aginst metal hollows, sparking aginst metal surfaces, tearing fragile morale.
Near the front of the mill entrance The one men guarded calmly, while others
searched pursued and fired, one guarded the main entrance. Since John was dealing with Amy through the rear exit, they were sure no one would bother trying to leave. They saw two figures, one limping.
"Guys we could use some help here." Rayne called out. One masked gunman, Randy, ran to them.
He got her other arm over his shoulder and led her outside. He undid her shoelaces and carefully removed tennis-shoe, to see her injured ankle.
"Oh shit, that's bad. Uhh.... stay here, I'll get Red." he ran back inside to Adrien who resupplied himself from the truck of a car.
"Adrien, where's your wife?"
"Ran off with Sharah that way. I think they saw one of the girls."
Randy took off, still holding his AK.
Sharah and Regina were, in-fact, chasing after Sailor Jupiter.
[KakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKak!!] Rifle fire poured down on her, at every chance they saw.
Jupiter saw a long walkway as she turned a corner and jumped far ahead. When she landed she turned to face them. She had to guess how far they were behind her when she jumped. She heard one of them yell something...
(Close enough.)
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" By the time her projectile traveled down the walkway the two following gunmen barely reached the turn. [BOOM!] Her attack was still powerful, it just a second ahead of them.
(So close.) She thought, then ran again.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!!] Both gunmen fired as they ran after her. Jupiter looked over her shoulder before she made another
turn. [THUMP.]
"Ouff!"
"OWW!" Startled and having the air knocked out of her, as she ran into someone.
Jupiter looked up to see who she knocked down, even if by accident.
"Venus?"
"No time, we need to go." Venus said in a panic as she fiercely pulled on Jupiter's arm to her feet
"Two of them are behind me too."
"Your problems just shoot guns. My problems' worse!"
Jupiter looked behind Venus.
"HOLY SHIT!" She exclaimed. The Creature was running at them. She bolted to her feet and they both ran away from both the Gunmen and the Creature. The Creature reached the junction and pursued both Senshi.
The two gunmen saw the Creature and slowed to a stop.
"Yeah, let him chase them for a while. Give us a chance a catch our breath." Sharah said.
"Yeah, if the heat-waves back in L.A. dont bother him, this must be a breeze." Regina addded.
"Guys!" Randy yelled from behind at the two of them, gaining their attention.
"Guys. Either of you know where Regina is?"
"That'd be me." Regina answered as she pulled her ski-mask to show her face.
"Red, I'm no doctor, but Hana's ankle is like, all broke. She can't walk or nothing. She outside by the main-door near Adrien."
"Damn. Fine, stay with Sharah." Regina took-off to the entrance.
"So who are we after?" Randy asked.
"I forget her name, but she's tall and has big tits."
"Tall?"
"Well, taller than others."
"Fuckin' A"

The Creature pursued both Venus and Jupiter, and as bad luck had been a
constant companion...
"Run!!" Venus screamed at Sailor Neptune and Pluto. Pluto had no choice, she
picked Neptune into her arms and ran for dear life. The three Senshi ran, The Creature not far behind.
"Pluto, get her to safety. We'll try to slow him down." Pluto jumped to the
next walkway going to the side, but when Jupiter and Venus turned to attack,
The Creature instead followed Pluto. So off they ran to chase him.
The Creature knew Sailor Pluto was stronger than either the two girls
following him, but as long as she had her hands full carrying one of their
friends, she wasn't going to fire at him. As she ran she saw Endymion just as
he saw her, and the Creature in pursuit.
Endymion jumped over to the walkway, and evasively slashed at the Creatures
legs. It didn't slow him down.
"Crescent Beam Shower!"
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Both attacks merged and pierced the Creature in
various points of his body. Blood spilled, he was on his hand and feet, but
he didn't slow down. He ran on all fours and healed as he ran.
"That's not fair." Jupiter said to herself.
"Come-on!" Venus added.
"HELP ME!!" Pluto Shouted.
Endymion rushed to her side as quickly as he could.
"Take her. I can't run with her anymore." She placed Neptune in his arms.
"Careful with her, her legs hurt bad, and she can barely walk."
"Right."
(Now how do we stop him?) Pluto thought. As she, with the others ran.
(Our powers barely work on him even if we concentrate together.)
They ran so hard. No one could see the gunmen anywhere. The reason was because unlike either The Assailant or The Creature, they could run out of breath after so much running.
(How can we hit him hard enough to put him down and out? At the same time?)
She remembered about the subway tunnel. Four concentrated attacks, in two
strikes. It did stop him briefly, even stunned him.
"Venus, I got a plan."
"I'm listening."
"Tie up his legs. I need to talk to Neptune." Before Venus could answer Pluto
leaped away.
"You want me to do, what?!" But with few other choices she did anyway.
"Venus Love-Me Chain!" The light emitting chain shot-out and entangled around
the ankles of The Creature. He stumbled and crashed aginst metal walls, guard-rails, and pipes.
(I hope your plan works.) She thought as The Creature severed the chain with
his bare hands, freeing his legs. He stood and continued to run after
Endymion and Neptune.
"So where's Sailor Moon?" Pluto asked running along-side.
"She got shot by one of them, and it took all her will to fight out of her.
Couldn't even stand. She's in a safe place for now." He replied
"Fine. Neptune, you're not going to like this but I need you to use your
attack."
"Right' Just tell me when." They leaped form one level to a lower level going
closer to a steel vat as Pluto explained her plan. The heat was sweltering and
nearly unbearable. Sweat poured from their faces just as they approached.
"This better be a good plan."
"It's the only one I got." She finished saying as the Creature came into view
and charged at them. Neptune laid up against a wall prepared to attack.
"Deep Submerge!" Her attack charged forward, but wasn't aimed at him, but
into the molten steel. Blinding steam billowed everywhere. It was so thick,
like fog. They could hear his thumping footsteps as he walked around, but
this time it was obvious he couldn't see them.
"Quietly, lets go." The three slipped away. and re-found Venus and Jupiter
again, and made their way to find Sailor Moon.
By the time The Creature found his way out of the steam, they were long gone.

Office room in the mill:
The five remaining Senshi and Endymion gathered togeather quietly.
"How is everybody?" Sailor Moon asked. She herself was bruised from shotgun
fire, as she sat on a table.
"We can't keep this up." Jupiter flatly said.
"Our powers are getting weaker and weaker, as they keep shooting and those
other two keep fighting us."
"I agree. It's only a matter of time now. We can't keep running. We can't
fight them head on. Pluto added.

At the front of the mill:
The Creature reverted close enough back to his human form to be able to
speak.
"They did something to the steel and I lost them. I don't know where they
are." His voice deeply rattled out.
"Fine, where's John?" Angela asked.
"If he hasn't returned here, then he must still be dealing with Amy out back.
I haven't seen her inside either, so he must still have her tied up."
"Guy's, Problem! Gail got shot." Tanner said as he entered the mill.
"I need help to get him in here or he's going to die out there."
"I'll help." Rayne said rushing out with Tanner.
"Okay, now We need help regardless, or this ain't gonna end." Ronnie added
"Think you can get John to turn the blocker off?" He asked Sharah
"I can arrange that." She answered.
"Randy, come on." And the two ran to the back. Rex also turned and resumed
searching as he reverted back into the Creature.
As they traveled further back into the mill, they ran into a problem. The
remaining Senshi and Mamoru.

Utter mayhem all over again. The two blazingly fired at them.

Sharah and Randy pulled back away from them, as they fired at the Senshi, not
giving them a moment to collect their thoughts to attack or defend.

Venus saw that black ski-mask figure with the gun in hand. Just like from the
beginning in Ami's car early during the Spring season.
[KakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakKakKak-KakKakKakkakKak!!] She saw the gunman's feet below a section of pipes.
"Venus Crescent Beam!" Her attack sliced through metal. The next moment half
the gunfire stopped. The other gunman stopped shooting, momentarily.
[KakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakkakKakkakkakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKakKak!! ]
The other gunman pulled away as he fired from side to side, then ran off to
the back to Johnathan.
To their own shock and disbelief, the remaining Senshi realised...
"He's not moving." Sailor Moon said.
Endymion approached and carefully removed the ski-mask.
"A woman?" A tall blond woman. He looked down at her hand still clenching to
the gun, then flicked it away with his sword. Her eyes were so trans-fixed,
her eyelids were fixed open as if she was staring into space.
"She's dead?" Jupiter asked.
Endymion waved his hand in-front of her eyes a few times.
"Yeah, I think so."
Randy watched them huddle around Sharah's body.
(Oh-no, John is gonna flip over this.) He didn't have enough to sustain a
fight with all of them at once. He had to leave.

Front of the Mill:
[Crack! Bang! Crack-Crack!] Tanner and Rayne raced to the front of the
Mill gates against police fire. [Crack Crack-Crack! Bang, Bang-Bang] Rayne
dived for the dropped RPD machine-gun and rose the over the hood of a car.
[Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak-Kak -Kak!!]
She leaned down on the trigger whipping it from side to side. Cops panicked
and dived for cover.

On and on she fired as Tanner pulled on Gail's heavy body back inside the mill.

Tanner was pulling on Gail's body as he moaned and screamed in agony. Rayne
quickly looked over her shoulder to see if it was fine to come back when she
felt burning hot lead rip into her chest. It made her let go of the gun and
fall to her knees, and land on her side.
"RAYNE!!" Hana screamed as she saw her go down. She tried to stand, but
couldn't. Another masked gunmen grabbed her by the belt and dragged Hana in.
Back inside the mill the steel doors shut and were latched shut.
Regina was all over Gail attempting to close off his wounds, anything to stop
his bleeding.
Hana was an emotional wreak seeing her lover die so quickly before her, as
she cried with her face in her hands and the pistol by her side.
(We need help. Now.) Adrien thought.

Further inside the Mill, The Senshi stuck together while not, for once,
being chased. They moved from one high walkway to another, being very careful
with Neptune due to her injury.
From below The Creature had already seen them, but this time he waited, to
see if they would get themselves trapped in a dead-end walkway.
He scanned as best he could with his eyes, but no dead-ends to be seen. None
on this level anyway. He quietly climbed up the pipes, and walls to move
around behind them. But as strong as he was, he wasn't always aware of his
footing. [SSNAPP!!!] A pipe gave way under his weight and crumbled, creating
a ear wrenching sound. In a reaction he looked to the source of the sound
just as the remaining six Senshi also looked at the Creature.
"RUN!" Sailor Moon shouted. The Creature sprung up and wreaked the walkway
from beneath and chased after them again.
His girth slammed through the flimsy steel of guard-rails and walls. Delicate, frightened girls scattered deeper in the mill, and to evade the Creature they had to hide deeper in the sweltering heat.
They landed near another large containment vat of molten steel, and hid. The Heat was
unbearable. They saw the Creature in the mesh of pipes and tubing as he searched for
them.
He searched carefully. He didn't fool himself into thinking they couldn't see him. He
was very certain they did see him.
The heat was so high and he had to be so close to the vat of molten steel. He kept his
muzzle open to vent the hot air from his body.
Jupiter tapped on Pluto's shoulder and gestured to attack at the same time. She agreed.
Finally the Creature showed his back to them.
"Dead Scream."
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" He heard them shout and turned. His open hand swung around,
obliterating Pluto's attack. The second projectile collided into his chest burning the hair on his chest.
The Creature ran at the two women with full force. The two Senshi scrambled and ducked
behind pipes and steel. [CRASH!!!] The steel bent and gave way under his strength as he
collided. His arm lashed out reaching for either of the Senshi. Jupiter looked up and
saw a opening, she jumped for it.
The Creature raced up as well, lunging his arm over her. Nearly took her head off as
she ducked back down. The Creature tore steel obstacles with his hands.
"Deep Submerge!" Neptune's attack hit the Creature dead-on, but it didn't slow him
down. In fact it seemed as if he didn't feel it.
The Creature lunged his arm in the enlarged opening reaching for either trapped
Senshi.
Sailor Moon watched, knowing her powers did nothing to harm the Creature in any way.
She had an Idea. She remembered the combined attacks back in the tunnel.
"Venus. Can you get his attention away from them? We need to get them out of there."
She nodded.
"Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" Her energy attack sliced from the outside of his shoulder
to the other side of his ribs.
It got his attention alright. As his wound closed, he jumped down and chased after her.
Endymion ran along with her for help.
They ran from one walkway to another. Sharp turns, and jumping from one platform to
another. Nothing stopped his pursuit of them. Endymion pushed heavy machinery into his
path. The Creature smashed the machines out of his way into pieces.
Venus dashed ahead and turned.
"Crescent Beam Shower!" Projected energy in a dozen streams sliced into his flesh. It
would've been nice if it slowed him down. She turned and ran again. They turned one corner and another again.
They arrived back near the vat of molten steel and jumped away separately.
Neptune had sweat dripping down her face, as she leaned against a hot wall, as her leg swelled in increasing pain.
"Deep Submerge!" The Creature swatted her attack away again. Pluto Saw Neptune's attack, and opened a portal to catch it before it disappeared.
The fight continued, but not for Sailor Neptune. She was so physically exhausted she
collapsed, and crawled away behind a control room. She had never been his tired and sore without having to sacrifice her life to defeat an enemy.
(If only my leg wasn't so hurt... if only Haruka was here.)
Jupiter leaped off a wall and sung her knee to the back of the Creature head. The
Creature swung his fist nearly crushing her. On her feet, Jupiter side-stepped to the
side and struck her elbow in his ribs. She was grabbed and thrown up aginst the wall,
she saw his knee speeding to her face.
"Venus Love-me Chain!" Jupiter's leg was wrapped and pulled to safety from between the Creature's legs. He swung his clenched fist at her head, nearly killing her.
"Together"
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
"Supreme Thunder!"
The two attacks combined in the air, but were side stepped passing the Creature's side.
He found it odd he didn't hear an explosion behind him.
Pluto jumped and landed near the vat of molten steel.
"Dead Scream." The ball of energy hurled at the Creature, but he merely grabbed it,
then hurled it back at her.
She opened a portal just as it approached. At that moment all the Senshi leaped away
and towards Pluto. The Creature stopped, turned on a dime, and pursued again.
"Man, I hope this works." She said.
"If not, we're all finished." Endymion. added. Sailor moon nodded her head in
agreement. As the Creature came closer, they all leaned back and fell backwards into the vat.
He was stunned. He slowed his running to a walk, and looked over the edge into the vat
of glowing, molten steel. It was 30 feet down to the surface of the liquid steel, but
he didn't hear a splash or even any screaming. It confused him a little.....
Something got his attention from behind. He didn't hear her approach, but he knew all
the same she was there. He quickly swung a clenched fist around.
Pluto ducked under the limb at shoved her Garnet rod at his waist. A portal opened.
Before he could react, a glowing white hot ball of energy erupted from the portal and
slammed violently into his stomach. It was so much force, his body was ripped in two!
His lower half dropped into the steel and his second lower half of his left arm also
fell off. His body almost fell into the vat. He slammed his remaining hand into the steel wall of the vat with his claws being the only thing he could use. Alive and wreaked beyond logic, he looked up at the girls standing above him. It was an awkward
position to be in. Then he began desperately regenerating his limbs back as quickly as
he could.
"No." Pluto said flatly. She opened the portal again, then the remaining combined
energy violently disentigrated his other arm at the bicep.
He fell again, and as he fell he remembered something, in the back of his mind he
remembered a quote...
(For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die,
you are forgiven. Such is the rule of honor.)
His thought ended as he sank into the steel. Burned and incinerated beyond his ability
to regenerate.
There were no celebrations. They still had to deal with the other one, and the
remaining gunmen.

Randy reached the back of the mill as he saw both John and Amy fighting to kill
each other. At this point John's face was torn off reveling the metal under layer. Both their clothes were damp from sweat and blood, and apparently it snowed earlier.
Amy was somewhat bald, from John always grabbing her hair, and she would yank herself
away from his grip.
Amy whipped a spike nearly hitting his throat. John however saw one of the masked
gunmen at the doorway motioning to him. He charged Amy while being impaled with her
claws and spikes. He lifted her up and used his tail to remove her off of him and flung
her over a unhitched trailer. He turned an ran for the door way as his tail retreated
back into his body. By the time Amy got out she frantically searched for the Assailant.
"John, you're needed up front right fucking now."
"Right." Both began their way back to the front of the mill.
