Isaiah stood with Samson and Furo-Ien in the pounding rain. Inamu was hiding in the shadows waiting for the Soldiers to come so that she could go and take Omani-Kaye back.

"I don't like these odds!" said Isaiah under his breath as he let the rain, hail and snow drenched him. It was uncomfortable for him, even though he didn't feel the cold.

"They're here," hissed Samson, setting himself to a fighting stance as Furo-Ien stood beside him calmly.

Isaiah raised his eyes from the ground to see the forms of seven soldiers walking forward.

"Seven soldiers? But that would mean that only one stayed behind, or perhaps one of them has left…" pondered Furo-Ien, not caring if his voice carried.

"No, I only recognise five of them, the two in the middle I have no recollection of," hissed Isaiah, catching a warning glance from Inamu.

"Actually there are nine soldiers here," growled Samson as his eyes flickered to Saturn and the Pluto from the past who sat patiently watching in a tree nearby.

"Those two in the tree are not here to fight," hissed Inamu from the shadows as Saturn gave her a small nod from the tree.

"But that still leaves us seven soldiers, where on earth did the other two come from?" asked Furo-Ien, as the eight forms came closer, "And who is the guy with them?"

"Don't worry about him, just make sure you're careful," whispered Inamu as she disappeared from the shadows.

"Isn't something familiar about the blonde one in the middle?" whispered Isaiah to the rest of the group.

"Her clothes look like the original form of the Soldiers we encountered, all the others are wearing a different variation," replied Furo-Ien.

"I don't care what they're wearing," hissed Samson.

"It matters if the one in the middle can destroy us," hissed back Isaiah.

"No need to worry of that, Pluto came…" trailed Furo-Ien.

"Two Plutos?" questioned Isaiah, looking up at the one in the tree to one in the line-up.

"Two different versions, the one facing us is stronger," said Furo-Ien.

Growing quiet, they watched the line stop, each of the reincarnated Gods searching their counterpart.

Isaiah grimaced at Jupiter, Samson hissed at Neptune and Furo-Ien growled at Uranus. The three Gods searched the faces of the others; Mars, Pluto, Venus and the two mysteries, along with the man.

"Remember, we only have to keep them at bay until Inamu returns with Omani-Kaye," whispered Isaiah to the others, keeping his eyes locked on Jupiter's.

The three watched as the Soldiers all took various fighting poses.

"What're we meant to do if out attacks won't work?" asked Uranus through pursed lips, her question directed at Pluto.

"You're here for your support; I need to access your power in order to kill them," replied Pluto.

Jupiter watched as one of the males licked their lips towards Venus, her protective instinct rearing up inside her.

"SUPREME THUNDER!" screamed Jupiter, accessing the already thrashing thunder in the sky and sending it hurtling into the man.

"JUPITER!" yelled out all her fellow soldiers, as Jupiter was struck with Uranus's attack 'World Shaking' and Neptune's attack 'Deep Submerge' from the other two men.

"How dare you use our attacks against her!" screeched Haruka, her body flying through the air to hit one of men square in the face, pulling out the Space Sword, Haruka bellowed at him, "SPACE SWORD BLASTER!"

The air was thick with electricity as the whole group opened fire.

"CRESCENT BEAM!"

"SUBMARINE REFLECTION!"

"MOON TIARA MAGIC!"

"Dead Scream…"

"SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

"DEEP SUBMERGE!"

"JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION!"

"WORLD SHAKING!"

Saturn dropped in the middle of the fray, instantly pulling apart the duelling groups. Venus and Neptune against Isaiah, Jupiter and Uranus against Samson, Sailor Moon and Pluto against Furo-Ien.

"Silence Wall…" Saturn's attack blocked off the fighting as each side turned to look at her.

"Saturn! What are you doing?" shouted Pluto angrily.

"Hotaru!" cried out Chibiusa who stood at the back of the fray with Tuxedo Mask.

"Let's have our introductions first," said Saturn calmly, the inferior Pluto coming to land beside her.

The three Gods came to stand behind them, shoulders touching, the Soldiers folding back in on themselves as well.

"Isaiah, incarnation of Izanagi, counterpart of Jupiter," called out Saturn, one of the men stepping forward automatically, his feet moving on their own accord.

"Samson, incarnation of Susanoo, counterpart of Neptune."

Samson stepped forward.

"Furo-Ien, incarnation of Fujin, counterpart of Uranus."

Furo-Ien stepped forward.

"Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Mask."

Sailor Moon, held tightly onto Chibi Moon's hand, Tuxedo Mask on her other side as she felt the tugging at her feet.

"We wish you would not fight," said the inferior Pluto, looking at her older-self in the eyes, "Can you not see it is impossible."

"Inamu, incarnation of Izanami, counterpart of Saturn."

Inamu's body was flung forward, over the Soldier's heads, her body cradling Omani-Kaye's as her form was flung into Isaiah's.

"Omani-Kaye, incarnation of Omoikane, counterpart of Mercury."

Omani-Kaye's body moved on its own accord, being controlled by Saturn.

The Soldiers stood squarely looking at the counterparts, and the bodies in which they had chosen to settle upon.

"Pluto," said Saturn, both of them stepping towards her instinctively but Saturn put her hand to the superior Pluto. The inferior Pluto stepped forward, "You can leave us now," said Saturn, swishing her glaive over, removing the wall.

"Certainly," replied Pluto, giving Saturn a small kiss on the forehead before disappearing.

"Sailor Mercury! Sailor Mars!" exclaimed Venus as she took in the two running forms of her friends behind her, all of the huge party turning around.

Saturn saw the fire in Mars's eyes before anyone else.

"MARS FIRE SNIPER!" shouted Mars, flinging her arm back and letting go of the attack.

The attack swung through all of her friends' bodies hitting the unconscious form of Omoikane squarely in the middle, two bodies seeming to fall to the ground.

"SILENCE GLAIVE SURPRISE!" screeched Saturn, counter-attacking and sending Mars flying backwards from Mercury's side. A sickening 'thud' being heard through the now calming storm as Mars landed harshly on the gravel.

Ami reacted impulsively, "MERCURY AQUA RHAPSODY!"

"SUBMARINE REFLECTION!" came from Neptune, as Mercury's attack sent Saturn flying backwards in turn.

Neptune's attack throttled Mercury into a tree.

"STOP!" The voice wasn't anyone that was familiar to either side, and it came from the ghostly body that was above Omani-Kaye's which was still unconscious on the ground.

"Omoikane," bowed Saturn, instantly gaining all of the party's attention.

"How did that happen?" whispered Inamu in surprise.

"VENUS LOVE-ME CHAIN!"

Venus's attack shocked the group as it sent all the counterparts off their feet and high into the air with its intensity.

"I SAID STOP!" Omoikane's figure slowly became material as her anger fuelled her power.

"FIRE SOUL!"

Mars's attack threw all her friends out of her way, as she ran, grabbing Mercury's body and picking her up with agile movements.

"Mars! What're you doing?!" Screamed Sailor Moon as more attacks flew through the air, this time not centred at the supposed enemy, but at Mars herself.

"Dead Scream…"

"WORLD SHAKING!"

"SILENCE GLAIVE SURPRISE!"

"SPACE SWORD BLASTER!"

"JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION!"

"SUBMARINE REFLECTION!"

"DEEP SUBMERGE!"

The attacks hit Mars hard in the back, causing the material of her uniform to shred, burning the fragile skin with the intensity.

Omoikane's body bucked against the pull of Mercury's as Mars fell forward, Mercury's unconscious body lying crumpled beside Omani-Kaye's.

"She's trying to conjoin them!" Screamed Pluto angrily, pushing her way through the stunned forms of Jupiter and Venus.

"How did she figure it out?" Hissed Saturn.

Pluto stood above Mars's limp and bloodied body, her Garnet Rod pressing on the some of the soft, unburnt skin on her shoulder.

"I told her," said Omoikane as the storm above them finally ended.

"Omoikane!" Yelled the other counterparts angrily, as they stood from their attack.

"SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

"VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!"

Jupiter's and Venus's attacks hit straight into Pluto's back, thrusting her forward in the arms of Saturn.

"Meddlesome fools!" Screamed Isaiah.

"DEEP SUBMERGE!" Neptune and Samson yelled in unison…

"WORLD SHAKING!" Uranus and Furo-Ien shouted together…

The attacks threw Jupiter and Venus backwards, both of their bodies colliding together against a tree.

"SILVER MOON CRYSTAL POWER KISS!"

Sailor Moon's attack threw all of the still standing Soldiers to their feet, her power causing them to bow. The counterparts were thrust to the ground in the power of the attack, Tuxedo Mask standing back and holding Chibi Moon to protect her.

As silence settled on the scene the still conscious Soldiers were bent on their knees, under the power of Sailor Moon.

Omoikane's form was the only body still standing in the wave of the attack.

Sailor Moon's eyes were filled with tears as she raced over to Mercury and Mars's limp forms, slowly shaking her friends awake.

"Please be okay, please," pleaded Sailor Moon as she held Mars in her arms, desperately trying not to irritate the burns on her back.

As Mars awoke Venus and Jupiter pushed themselves off the ground, both sporting badly marked skin.

"She will be alright Princess Serenity," said Omoikane, reaching down to hold Mars's twitching body, Mars's face alight in agony at her wounds.

Sailor Moon looked up at Omoikane as she very gently felt the wounds on Mars's back, causing an agonised moan to escape from Mars's lips.

"Mars…" murmured Mercury as she recovered.

"How did she do that…" whispered Uranus as she watched the three forms all radiating with the same energy.

"Mars was the only one who could free me. There was much that was left out when Setsuna told you the story," said Omoikane, no distaste in her voice.

"In order to protect the planet from the Gods as well the Soldiers made a special bond between each other. You see while Pluto has the ability to kill all of us, and Saturn the ability to attack all of us only the Soldier who created the counterpart has the ability to destroy us. Pluto could have killed the bodies we were in and greatly weakened us but she could never completely destroy the entities which we are, only our Soldiers can do that," said Omoikane into the stunned faces of the Senshi and the counterparts as she turned to look at the Gods.

"And only the Soldiers lover with whom they forged a bond can free their counterpart, that's why Mars was able to attack Kuriri's body, or the girl you know as Omani-Kaye and free me from inside. None of you saw it but Mars's attack was not meant to injure but to heal, and it's a hard thing to do with an attack. It took all of her will-power not to use her power in a negative way," Omoikane smiled down at the wincing Mars.

"Omoikane! What are you doing? You're meant to be on our side!" screamed Samson angrily, Furo-Ien holding him back.

"I'm on no side because no sides exist," shouted back Omoikane showing the first sign of anger.

"The Goddess of Wisdom," whispered Mars, a small smile creeping onto her face.

"Mercury's counterpart," laughed Omoikane warmly.

"JUPITER OAK THUNDER!"

"WORLD SHAKING!"

"DEEP SUBMERGE!"

The three attacks from the Gods shocked Omoikane, the power of them reverberating through her body, morphing the smooth flesh to reveal the true horror beneath.

The Soldiers watched as the three Gods somehow used their power to manipulate their Soldiers. Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune's images flickered where they stood before completely disappearing from view.

Pluto and Saturn both took their leave, subtly moving off to the side.

Sailor Moon, Venus and Mars watched as the skin of Omoikane's substantial body slowly changed, the smoothness of it disintegrating into horribly scarred, marked skin, her hair falling out and her body aging rapidly, until she fell unconscious to the ground, her form disappearing back into Omani-Kaye's.

The four counterparts stood smirking from a distance at the remaining Soldiers. Isaiah carried an unconscious Jupiter, Samson had one arm restraining Neptune and Furo-Ien was using both his arms to restrain Uranus who was desperately fighting to get away.

"It seems we've won this round," called out Inamu proudly, "You're down five Soldiers now, have no way to reclaim Omoikane with Mars out of commission and no way to find out the rest of the information that you need to catch us!" Inamu's laugh was high-pitched and sent waves of nausea through the other girl's stomaches.

"We'll be back," added Isaiah as the wind rocked up, causing the remaining Senshi to blink rapidly, finding the seven forms had disappeared when the wind finally died.
