Metallica watched, keenly, as two baby girls were born. Both as squirmy and bald headed like babies should be. One had sweet blue eyes and the other had dark green. 'Perfect' she thought. While everyone backs were turn, she gently used her powers to switch them. The blue-eye girl was now in a crib in the negaverse, while the dark-green eye one was in a crib on the moon. She watched, amused, as a maid turned back around to pick up the child…

The maid looked at the baby startled.

"I could have sworn she had blue eyes! Oh, well" The maid began to rocked the baby proudly.

'I can't believe I'm the first to see the princess!' the maid thought in awe. 'The queen so too exhausted to hold her, so that left only me!' She couldn't but help feel a sense of pride at being the first to see and hold the princess!!!

"Sarah?" Queen Serenity called out weakly. "Let me see her."

"Yes, your majesty" Carefully, she handed over the precious bundle.

"My baby" Queen Serenity smiled down.

"Are you going to name her Serenity?" Sarah smiled warmly.

"No" Queen Serenity glanced down. Uneasiness had worked its way into her stomach. "Somehow, Serenity just doesn't suit her…Beryl. Her name is Beryl. Princess of the Moon kingdom…"

Metallica smirked. No one would even suspect that the real princess of the moon kingdom and the princess of the negaverse had switched places!

* * * Part one

<15 years later>

Beryl looked around, nervously, at all the people in the room. She was taught since she was little on how to be graceful and etiquette, but now…she couldn't recall any of her lessons. Her mind was a totally blank! 'Luna!' she thought despairing. 'Where's Luna when I need her?' She smiled politely at a woman, some ruler of some planet, who waved at her.

"What's the matter, honey?" Queen Serenity looked at her worriedly.

"I-I'm fine" Beryl stuttered. She twisted a locked of her red hair around a finger. "Mother?"

"Hmmm?" Queen Serenity exchanged a quick bow with the Neptune King and Queen and their daughter, Michiru.

"What is it?" The queen looked questioningly at her daughter.

"What if I don't like him?" Beryl blurted out.

"Is that what you're worrying about?" Queen Serenity hid a small smile as Beryl nodded.

"Prince Endyimon is a fine man" she assured.

"Yeah, and he's cute!" Raye butted in. "Hey, Strawberyl" Beryl smiled gratefully as inner scouts surrounded her. She didn't know where she would be without them! To her, they were just more than her protectors. They were her best friends. Beryl felt her eyes moisten. She was lucky to have such wonder friends like them!

"Cheer up" Mina grinned as she popped some caviar into her mouth. "He's really not so bad!" Beryl gave her a weak grin. 'Strange' Beryl thought as she studied Mina. 'We're cousin, but we don't look a thing alike!' Suddenly, she felt dark energy coming from the scouts.

"What's wrong?" she asked worried.

"The outers" Raye hissed. Beryl's eyes narrowed slightly. As close as she was to the inners, she always felt isolated from the outers. Like they disliked her or something. Maybe that's because every since she met them, when they were kids, they were never close friends. But still, she still didn't understand why they were so distance from her. She and the other scouts, namely the inners, were good and close friends! So why couldn't she seem to get them to trust her?

"They're creeping me out!" Mina shuddered. Beryl tried not to shudder, herself, when all the outers gave her a cold look. Why were they so cold to her?

"There he is!" Mina excitedly grabbed her arm. The outers were temporarily forgotten as the Earth Prince arrived, "Gosh isn't he cute!!!"

"He looks just like my old boyfriend" Lita remarked in awe.

"I can't believe you get the luck of having him as your betroth" Raye muttered a bit jealous. "but you know. His generals aren't that bad looking!" Whispers rapidly echoed in the room.

"Look the negaverse arrive to!" somebody whispered in alarm!

Haruka snorted as she watched the Prince's arrival.

"That's him? The way people talked about him made him seem like he was a god or something" She frowned. For some reason, she felt a dark presence coming towards the room.

"Shouldn't we be standing with the Princess?" Hotaru question interrupted her thoughts.

"No" Haruka looked at all of them unsure. She never liked the princess, ever since she met her, for some reason. There was something about Beryl that seemed all wrong to her. She suddenly felt guilty. What kind of scout is she, if she won't even protect the Princess? Still, there was something off about Beryl that made Haruka warily and alert.

"We'll stay here, if anything goes wrong, we'll be on standby" She ordered. The other scouts nodded.

"Look the negaverse arrived!" somebody whispered in alarm. Haruka watched as the Queen of the Negaverse walked in.

"That's her?" She was a bit surprise at how long the queen was. Heck, the girl couldn't have been more than fifteen and she was queen?

"I greet you, your majesty" the Young queen bowed. Everyone looked uneasy at the three-yoma guards she had with her. The yoma bows stiffly.

"It's an honor to meet you, finally" Queen Serenity greeted. "I've heard much about you Queen Rena"

"All good I hope" No one said a word. "I see" She looked up and made eye contact with Haruka. Their blue eyes clashed as they studied each other. Haruka was the first one to break the intense glazes. Laughing, Queen Rena smiled a bit and turned back to Queen Serenity.

"I hope we can talk, later?"

"Of course, until then, why don't you meet the other guest?" Rena bowed one more time before moving off.

Rena watched amuse had all the guest had fled from her. It must have been the yoma guards she had. Quickly, She turned to them.

"Why don't you go into the garden?" she suggested.

"Yes, my queen" all three bowed and left. After they were gone, she quickly made her way to the blond that had caught her eye. She noticed the three other girls also. One with bright green hair, One with black, and another one with dark green.

"Your majesty" all of them bowed a bit. Rena smiled.

"How are you?" she asked sweetly. Her mind was already processing, the information. The tall blond was Haruka, Princess of Uranus; the green hair one, Michiru, Princess of Neptune and the other two girls were Princesses of Saturn and Pluto.

'Hmmm… They could be useful' she thought.

"We're fine, thank you" Hotaru spoke softly. It was kind of hard to hear. But she wasn't the one, Rena was after. Almost discreetly, she was closer to Haruka. So close, that the blond could smell her perfume. Rena grinned. Michiru didn't look too happy. 'Maybe the rumors about them are true' Rena thought ,amused, as she took Haruka arm. Gently, she tugged her towards the punch table.

"Would you escort me to the table for a drink?" she asked sweetly.

"Uh, sure" Haruka looked a bit uneasy. Rena smirked inside. She had just founded her four generals. Who else would be better than the outer scouts? They were powerful and smart. She felt a pang of guilt. Ruling the world had always been in her plans in the past. So why did she get this feeling that this is wrong? She pushed the feeling down. The sooner the negaverse took over, the better. Rena growled as she felt somebody bump into her.

"Ooops" a pretty blond girl giggled. "Sorry. Oh, it's you" Rena smiled thinly at Mina, Princess of Venus. They never got along. Mainly because she thought the Venus was a totally air head.

"It's nice to see you too" Rena remarked sarcastically. Mina flushed and walked away with a hump. She smiled in triumphant and looked at Haruka, who seemed to be studying her.

"How about that drink, now?"
