Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ True Love is Not Cliche: Mirai Trunks and Mina ❯ Chapter 1 ( Chapter 1 )
Disclaimer: I do not own Dragonball Z or Sailor Moon. They belong to their respective creators who deserve all the credit for creating two wonderful animes that have in turn provided the fanfic world with so much to work with. There now how's that for a disclaimer!!
Author's notes: This is a Dragonball Z/Sailor Moon crossover fic. The pairing is Mirai Trunks and Mina. It takes place after the defeat of Galaxia in the SM dimension, and after the defeat of the androids and Cell in the Mirai timeline. Don't like it, don't read it. Otherwise continue on and enjoy! Also please review! Now to the story.

Life on Earth began to return to normal for the first time in nearly twenty years. The androids and the monster known as Cell were defeated by Trunks, who was known to West capital as "The Golden Warrior." West capital proclaimed him their savior, though Trunks didn't really like all the publicity, and did his best to keep away from the cameras.
Trunks spent his days continuing his training and helping cities and villages rebuild themselves. Though Trunks never wished the Earth to be in danger, he missed the excitement of the fighting. He knew that this was natural since he had saiyan blood coursing through his veins. And not just any saiyan blood, royal saiyan blood. Since Vegeta was gone, Trunks was the prince of saiyans. The prince of a long dead race. Trunks sighed out of boredom, waiting for the day to pass. Tomorrow the time machine would be all recharged and he would travel back to the past to tell everyone that he had freed his world. He couldn't wait to see them all. Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, his mother, and his father. Yes, he was actually glad to see Vegeta. Trunks decided to go to bed so that tomorrow would come faster. He went to his room and was asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Mina walked alone in the park. She had just had another fight with Rei. She had been a couple of minutes late to another stupid scout meeting. Rei had yelled at her for a half an hour after that. It wasn't just harmless, empty insults; these were hateful ones that were meant. After Rei had started in on her Ami had joined in and soon Lita had too. Serena was her only friend; she had tried to stop them. But to no avail. She remembered their hurtful words clearly.
"MINA!! You are so irresponsible!!!!!!! Have you ever been on time for anything in your life!!!!!!!???????? Rei asked rhetorically. "You'll probably be late to your own wedding even, that is if a dumb blonde ditz like you could ever find a guy worth anything." retorted Ami. Mina just stared blankly, trying to believe what she was hearing. "Ami! That is a horrible thing to say to Mina," exclaimed Serena. "Well, it's true Serena. You're lucky Mina, if Serena weren't here I'd teach you a lesson!" yelled Lita, while she shook her tightened fist at Mina. At that time Mina had run out of Rei's temple, not wanting them to see her cry. She had run to the park and now was sitting on the bench sobbing. She wasn't really a ditz, just absent minded. Despite what Jupiter thought, Mina knew she was by far the strongest inner scout. Her Venus love powers could even rival the outers, except Hotaru maybe. She really wasn't as boy crazy as everyone thought, she just wanted to find her true love. 'And it wouldn't be bad if he were absolutely gorgeous and perfect either' she mused to herself. She sighed sadly. Suddenly a bright light shined blinding Mina momentarily. A woman stood before her. Mina focused and realized the person to be her mother, Aphrodite. "Hello child," she said smiling brightly down at her daughter. Aphrodite looked very much like Mina, only she was older, with a face that told you she held much wisdom. "Mother?" asked Mina, who was wondering if her eyes were playing tricks on her.
"My poor daughter" said Aphrodite. "Mother, the scouts hate me, I don't know what to do," sobbed Mina. "Don't worry darling. I am going to send you to a different dimension where you will find your one true love and soul mate," said Aphrodite. "My true love?" she asked confused. "Yes dear, everyone has a soul mate, yours just happens to live in another dimension," she replied smiling at her beautiful daughter. "Thank you mother," Mina said as she disappeared with her mother to the time gates. Aphrodite explained the situation to Pluto, and Mina stepped through the time gate where her destiny and true love awaited her.
