Part 4: The Trip to Namek

Trunks and Mina followed Bulma to her lab. Trunks and Mina stood behind Bulma as she typed frantically on her computer. "Uh, mom what are you so excited about?" asked Trunks. "Oh Trunks! After searching for it for nearly three years, I have finally found it," she cried. Her eyes sparkled at what she was looking at on the computer screen. Trunks and Mina looked at the computer screen. They were unmoved. 'How could a bunch of numbers excite her so much?' they wondered to themselves. "Mom, those are just a bunch of numbers," stated Trunks. Bulma sighed in defeat. "Well, thank you captain smart-ass. Those aren't just any numbers you two. These numbers just happen to be coordinates. Coordinates to new Namek!" she announced. Mina blinked in confusion, while Trunks spoke up. "That's really great mom, but how are we going to get there? We don't have any space capsules," said Trunks. "Oh ye have little faith," scolded Bulma as she pushed a button on a capsule and threw it to the ground. When the smoke cleared, a large space pod was revealed. It was much like the one Goku had used to travel to the original Namek nearly twenty-five years ago. "I built this after we got back from Namek. I knew it would come in handy one of these days. The three of us are going to Namek!" declared Bulma. Trunks smiled. He was going to get his father and all his friends' back. He couldn't believe it. His life had done a complete 180. The androids had taken everyone from his except his mother. Two months ago he had only his mother. Then Mina came into his life. She was the greatest thing that had ever happened to him, and now he was going to get everyone else back as well.

"So what's on Namek?" asked Mina. "Oh, remember when I told you about the dragon balls?" Trunks asked her. "Yeah, don't they grant any wish you want," "Yep, that's them. The dragon balls originally came from Namek, and the ones on Namek grant three wishes," explained Trunks. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she smiled. "We won't be leaving for a couple of days, I need to run some tests on the ship, and make sure everything's in working order," said Bulma. "Okay," said Trunks as he and Mina left leaving Bulma to 'play with her toy' as Trunks liked to put it.

"What is today's report?" asked a scratchy female voice. "The dimension-crossing machine is scheduled to be finished by the end of next week your highness," replied a female mutant, who looked like a female Zarbon. "Good, then I will have my revenge. We will leave this dimension, and seek out the one they call Mirai Trunks. He is the one responsible for the death of my father and my brother. "Yes, it will be a pleasure to see the son of Vegeta die. He will pay for his father killing my father Zarbon the female mutant seethed. "Yes Zarba you will have a crack at the young saiyan prince, but the glory of his death will be mine," replied the female. "Yes of course lady Arctica. The last saiyan prince and everyone he loves will pay ten full Zarba smirked evilly. "Yes he shall," Arctica said with a cold smirk that was even colder than her brother's.

Bulma finished checking the ship. Trunks and Mina had packed all their things and were boarding the ship. "We should only be gone about two weeks. We can use the Namek dragon balls to wish Vegeta, Goku, and Gohan back. Then we will ask Dende to come back to Earth and be our guardian. Then he can create a new set of dragon balls and we can wish everyone else back!" explained Bulma. "We won't even be gone that long probably. We can just have Goku Instant Transmission us all back to Earth," commented Trunks. "Hey yeah, all right, Trunks, Mina strap in, we're blasting off for Namek!" declared Bulma as she fired up the engine and launched the capsule. They blasted off into the vastness of space. Their destination: Planet Namek.

They had been on the ship for three days, and were now half way to Namek. Trunks continued training in the gravity room at 450 times the norm. He could feel that he was close to a new level and transformation. This time he would ascend to the next level correctly. "Hey sweetheart" said Mina cheerfully as she entered the gravity room. The next thing she knew she was pressed flat on the floor. "Mina!" cried Trunks as he rushed over and turned the gravity back to normal. Then he went over and helped Mina up. "Mina you should really tell me before you come in so I can shut the gravity off," he said smiling at her. "Yeah I forgot," she replied. "Well as long as you're here, wanna spar?" he asked. "Me, spar with you? Trunks I don't stand a chance against you," she said. Trunks fell out of super saiyan. "I won't use super saiyan. Besides, I've never seen you use your powers as Sailor Venus. By human standards you're actually really strong," replied Trunks. Mina giggled at the thought of transforming in front of him. "All right, so you want to see the infamous Sailor V huh?" she asked already knowing the answer. Trunks simply nodded. "Venus Crystal Power!" she called. The orange stars surrounded her transforming her into her sailor fuku. Trunks thought his eyes were going to fall out of their sockets as the stunning beauty stood before him. Mina giggled at his reaction. Trunks managed to compose himself. "Okay, let's see some attacks," he said. "Okay," she replied. "Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" she called as she released the orange heart. Trunks blocked the attack. He felt the attack push him back slightly, and singe his flesh on his hand slightly. "Not bad," he said truly amazed at the potential she had. "Thank you love," she replied as she de-transformed.

He smirked as he came closer to her and snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. She smiled as they kissed intensely. Trunks picked her up in his arms and carried her out of the gravity room.
