Part 5: The Boyz are Back!

Trunks and Mina finished *their* shower and got dressed. They held hands as they walked to the kitchen section of the space pod. Bulma was already there and gave the two a knowing smile. In turn both Trunks and Mina blushed, while Bulma just giggled signaling that she was okay with it. Suddenly they all heard a rumbling. Bulma panicked and began running towards the controls, thinking something was wrong with the ship. Mina gripped Trunks' arm tightly. "Uh, mom it's okay! Nothing's wrong with the ship!" he called. "Then what was that rumbling?" asked Bulma. "My stomach," Trunks mumbled. Bulma and Mina both face faulted and then laughed. Trunks just blushed and held his hungry bottomless pit of a stomach. "I should have known, breakfast should be ready in five minutes. Until then tell your stomach to be quiet," told Bulma.

"The dimension-crossing machine is ready Lady Arctica, but the scientists have informed me that when we cross dimensions we will end up on the planet we are on. We will have to take a ship to earth, which is about a three-week voyage," Arctica smirked. "Thank you Zarba. Prepare my things, we will depart in a half-hour. When we get there I want a ship equipped immediately and ready to depart for Earth in the morning," she commanded. "Yes Lady Arctica" obeyed Zarba as she left. Arctica pulled out a picture she had acquired of the young saiyan prince. "You will pay prince," she said as she stared at the picture she had just acquired yesterday. She smirked evilly. "Maybe I won't kill you, but just enslave you and make you mine. You are quite desirable. I'll make you truly suffer for years, before I finally kill you," she decided as she laughed maniacally.

The next three days passed quickly. On the third day Bulma landed the pod on Namek. The three stepped out and the Namekians crowded around to see who had landed on their planet. They all remembered very clearly what had happened the last time they had visitors to their planet. "Don't be alarmed! It's me Bulma, from Earth," she said. The Namekians began to relax as they remembered the blue haired woman that had provided them a home while they had stayed on Earth. Maury approached Bulma. "Hello Bulma, it's a pleasant surprise to see you again," he replied. "Why thank you Maury. This is my son Trunks, and his fiancé Mina," Bulma introduced. Maury nodded hello. "We have come to ask you if we could use the dragon balls. The androids killed all our family and friends. We want to wish some of them back, and then ask Dende to become the new guardian of Earth. Then he can create his own set of dragon balls for the Earth," explained Bulma. "I would be honored," a young adult Dende replied eagerly. "You may use the dragon balls. Who will you wish back first? asked Maury. "Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta" replied Bulma. "Vegeta! Why him?!" asked Maury. "Vegeta is my father," replied Trunks. "Yes, Vegeta is Trunks' father and my husband. I know Vegeta did a lot of bad things when he was on the old Namek, but he changed after that, even though he would never admit it," pleaded Bulma. "Well all right, if you say so. I guess if Vegeta could produce a son that is pure hearted, and not to mention the savior to the Earth, I guess he couldn't have been all bad," replied Maury. "Thank you Maury" said Bulma. Trunks also thanked him.

The next day the seven Namekians that each guarded one dragon ball brought them before Dende, Bulma, Trunks, and Mina. (AN: The Nameks now keep very close watch over the dragon balls now, thus there is no reason for a dragon ball hunt. Also, I know the Namek dragon balls wish the people back to where they die, but let's just say that was modified and they are now brought before those who wish them back. K back to the story.)

Dende summoned Porunga, the dragon of Namek. The skies grew very dark as Porunga was awakened from his slumber. Mina gasped in shock and tightened her grip on Trunks' arm. Trunks wrapped his arm protectively around her waste and pulled her closer. "I will grant three wishes, what are your wishes?" asked the giant dragon. "We wish to bring Son Goku back to life," said Bulma. Dende translated her words in Namekian and told them to the dragon. His eyes glowed and Goku appeared before them. Bulma and Trunks smiled brightly as tears came to both their eyes. Dende made the wishes for Gohan and Vegeta, and soon they were both alive as well. "Gohan?" asked Trunks. "Hey kiddo, I knew you'd kick those sorry androids butts!" said Gohan. Trunks couldn't help it as he hugged Gohan.

Bulma began to cry as she hugged Vegeta. Surprisingly he let her cry on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her waist. "Father?" Trunks asked. Vegeta laughed. "To think that Frieza and those stupid tin cans were defeated by the saiyan prince in the end after all," replied Vegeta. Trunks smiled as he realized that was his father's way of saying he was proud of him. Vegeta eyed Mina. "A Vesuvian, and a princess at that. Glad you didn't pick some weak human girl," he replied. Trunks smiled again. He wasn't sure how his father knew she was the Vesuvian princess, but was glad that he approved. Mina also smiled. She was equally confused also, but sensed that Vegeta approved. Bulma explained that they were taking Dende back to Earth with them, and he was going to create a set of Earth dragon balls. Dende bade farewell to his family as he prepared to IT back to Earth with Goku and everyone else. Goku put two fingers to his forehead and prepared to teleport to Earth. Suddenly they all heard a loud rumble. Goku gave his famous Son grin and put his hand behind head. "Hey Bulma, do you think you could whip up something when we get home? I'm starving," he asked. Bulma giggled. "Sure thing Goku," she replied as Goku teleported them all to Kame's lookout.
