Hebrides Islands, Scotland. June 11th, 2005.

A mysterious carriage stands on the front of the gates of the sanctuary. The guards proceed to do their usual job.
-Name, please.
The guard looked at the carriage. The door opens, and the guard looked into it. He's suddenly attacked by a snake.
-Ah! Get it off me!
-I am terribly sorry -a voice said from inside the carriage-. He doesn't like strangers.
The guard had stopped screaming. He was lying on the floor, dead. The other guards killed the poisonous snake, and began moving towards the carriage.
-Get out! - Get out now or else!
-Or else? Don't make me laugh.
The guards were starting to get nervous.
-You can't do anything to me. I am the Serpent God. I wouldn't want to let you die before knowing my name is...

From the carriage, lots of snakes start coming out, jumping towards the guards. They manage to evade them. But then the man comes out of the carriage. He is actually no man. His skin was greenish, and his eyes were yellow. Apart from the fact that he had snakes all over him, there was one thing that was more surprising: He wears what appears to be a Leo Cloth.
-My name is Ryu Wo, Spirit of Leo Demoniac. Now, if you excuse me, I need to enter the Sanctuary.
Ryu Wo runs towards the gate. The guards try to stop him, but Ryu Wo's fingers were like venomous claws, poisoning the guards and making them unable to do anything. He passes through the gates with no major difficulty. He sees the House of Shadow Aries in the distance.
-So easy...
-Stop right there!
Ryu Wo turns back and sees a young man standing in front of him. He laughed.
-I am Orestes of Shadow Lyre, and you're not even going to reach that House while I'm standing!
-The most powerful Shadow Saints were not able to defeat us… What makes you think you can? Go away, kid, before you end up dead. You are not my main objective, but I will kill you if you interfere.
-It is my duty to protect the Shadow Sanctuary.
-Then you will die.

More carriages seem to have reached the gates of the sanctuary. The figures went out of their carriages, and walked inside it with no problem. They saw Ryu Wo, and were just going to join him when he said:
-Stick to the mission, I'll be back in a moment.
The figures keep walking to the House of Shadow Aries.
-Now, kid… Prepare to feel my Venomous Claws!
Ryu Wo attacks Orestes with his hands, but he evades the attack.
-Lyrical Madness!
Orestes uses his lyre for this attack; the sound vibrations reached Ryu Wo unexpectedly, and he was about to lose control of his body. Orestes wanted to take advantage of the situation by shooting his final attack, but he recovered just in time and used:
-Deep Hypnosis!
Orestes did not perceive the attack, so his mind was now controlled by Ryu Wo.
-Now, kid… I would love to stay here and kill you slowly, but I'm in a hurry, so this will be quick...

But something had stopped the mind control over Orestes. Ryu Wo noticed this.
-What?!!
-I… I…
-I underestimated you, kid. I will now kill you for sure!
Ryu Wo tried to move his hand, but he couldn't. Same with his legs and his other arm; all of his limbs were frozen. He looked at Orestes in horror.
-What?! … When did this happen?!
-Shadow Lyre, warn the Zodiacal Saints. Tell them we have intruders.-
-Who's there?!

Orestes was just as surprised as Ryu Wo. Who was that voice? Why was it helping him? Was it a saint? But he didn't have time to think about it. He followed the voice's advice and went to the House of Shadow Aries. He knew of an easier way to reach the House, so he'll get faster than the other intruders. Orestes found Haruna in her House, and told her of Ryu Wo, the voice, and the intruders.
-We must act quick -she said-. I will send an alert to the Pope, who'll warn the rest of the Houses. I suggest you find other saints and go back to the entrance of the sanctuary. We must protect the gates from any other intruder!
-Okay, I'll go now.
He goes back to the place near the gates, where he found Ryu Wo. Luckily, he didn't find any intruders in the way. He was expecting to find a big fight, but he only found a frozen ice block, with Ryu Wo inside.
-Who could've done this…?
-Come on, Orestes -a saint said-, let's go to the gates. We must protect it at least for tonight.

The intruders reached the House of Shadow Aries. Haruna looked worried; it was going to be her first real combat. She was hiding somewhere in the House. She created, in the first place, an invisible barrier.
-Hopefully, that'd stop them for a while.
A figure stumbled upon a strange object on the floor.
-Wind Wave!
But the attack is repelled and sent back to her.
-Interesting, this will condensed energy spot reflects all your attacks.
-Watch out, Selena...
-There is nothing I cannot pass through, though. Dimensional Door!
A vortex appears, and the intruders enter it just to appear in the other side of the barrier. The barrier breaks, and Haruna had no choice but to appear in front of them.

-What have we got here... A new Shadow Aries saint. I will enjoy this.
-Hopefully, you're not going to enjoy it for long -Haruna replies-. Ken Execution!
Selena evades the attack with no major effort.
-That would've been an impressive attack if used correctly. I'll show a good attack... Substance Coalition!
A beam of light blue color struck Haruna, knocking her down. She stood up again.
-It's my duty to defend my House -Haruna said-, you'll have to kill me.
Selena laughed again. Haruna remained in her attack position.
-You humans don't change.
She struck her down again with the same attack, then she looked at her fellows.
-All of you, go to the next House. I'll go in a moment.

Haruna stood up yet again, with lots of effort. She thought of the Pope, and how disappointed he'd be if she was defeated so easily. She remembered her master, Midori, and everything she had learned from her teachings. She remembered the rest of the saints, who'd be fighting until their last bit of cosmo disappear. Her cosmo began increasing, creating a bright aura around her.
-A few attacks will not beat me, Gemini Demoniac!
-Oh, good -she said-, because I was really expecting this to be more interesting.
-Ken Execution!
-Substance Coalition! - Selena exclaimed, right after her.
The two attacks collided, and Haruna seemed to be giving in.
-You are too weak to win, Shadow Aries. I have won!
-You think so?
Selena starts to realize that her cosmo is getting stronger and stronger.
-... What is this? What makes her so strong, just now?
Selena was starting to give in. Haruna was pushing the energy beam with more strength.
-Why was she able to increase her strength…?
The whole attack hit Selena, who was thrown to the floor. She stood up again, but this time it took her a while to do so.
-That was very--
But someone hit her in the back before he could finish talking. Haruna looked behind Selena to see who did this.
-What are you doing here? -She said.
-I know, I should be guarding the gates…But I could not help it.
Haruna smiled.
